Danica Sat on her bed as she looked at her calendar, there was nothing marked down for the first time in a few weeks, she had the entire day to herself. The classes had let out at 3:30 and she was not sure what to do with her time. She had tried to fit in and make some friends but the attempts so far had been rather dull or she came off to overbearing. Danica sighed as she kicked her heels against the bottom of her bed, she could study for a bit, or hit the gym. Maybe this was a sign she needed a part time job or something.
Danica took another deep breath and let herself crash down onto her bed, this was going to be a rough night if she didn’t expel her energy at least a bit more, she had gotten used to the training regiment and if she didn’t push herself past that then her body wasn’t tired when her mind was, and if she didn’t work her mind throughout the day she would lay wide awake, being tired as can be but her mind wouldn’t let her sleep. Thinking back to her first few nights she was settling down into the dorms, she recalled meting Luna in the common area, she hadn’t really seen her since, either only in passing or from a distance but nothing that brought them back together. It felt like a invisible barrier divided their classes. But Danica was a busy person and she could hardly fault Luna for not dropping by either.
Pushing off the bed she would look at the clock, it was closing in on 5pm, It wasn’t too late, they could go get something to eat, or possibly treat her some tea. . . how its supposed to be made.
Declining that this is what she was setting this time aside for she would grab her Sweater and slide it on and make her way out of her room, traveling down the stairs to the third floor and then recalling which door she was in. room 34 sounded right, but as she passed by Room 31, she had a slightly hesitation, maybe it was that one. Standing in the hall for a moment she decided to prepare a speech before knocking on 31. What was she going to say after not talking for so long? But after her knuckles rasped against the door her mind went blank. She listened for any sound on the other side of the door, unsure if she would even be there.

Luna leaned back in a chair in her room. After school, she had relative freedom to herself since she still didn't have any roommates. This meant she could do with it as she pleased for the time being. Of course, she didn't want to be a prude if she was going to have a roommate someday, she'd happily relinquish space so that both could enjoy it. For the time being though, she was just doing a mix of relaxing and studying. Her body was somewhat sore and she needed some time to cool down but she didn't want to fall behind on her studies so she read over her material as well here and there providing a proper balance. The dog girl's ears would twitch all of a sudden though as a knock on the door occurred, immediately causing instincts to kick in. Luna let out a low growl as her territorial imperative nature arose causing her to get out of her chair and slowly approach the door. Her growling got louder as she got closer to the door but her nose twitched at a familiar smell. All malice suddenly disappeared as she realized it was Danica. Luna beamed as she cupped her hands together. "Ah, could that be!?" she could only speak excitedly to herself at the prospect of seeing one of her friends again. Sure, it had been a while since they had spoken but her feelings towards others rarely diminished if they didn't do anything wrong. One could call it a sense of loyalty and bond. "Just a second!" Luna spoke aloud to the person outside of her door. After throwing on some more casual clothes, Luna opened the door with her tail wagging back and forth extremely excitedly. "It is you, Danica!" she beamed as she came out of her room and closed it behind her. The dog girl then gave Danica a quick hug, or at least tried her best to do so if Danica didn't try and get out of the way. It was exciting that she came to visit her, but she just had to know what her reasoning was. "So anyways, what brought you here!?" it was a casual way of bringing it up, but Luna's personality defeated the calmness of the statement as she instead just blurted it out excitedly.

The knock was answered with a call through the door, she would be a minute, that meant there was more time to get her invitation hashed out a bit more. It was enough for her to figure out where she was going, the café in Musutafu, where she had met that peculiar cat. “alright” she would say back through the door after about a 3 second delay.
As Luna opened the door, Danica would be dressed in the same olive green sweater from the other time they had met, as well as a pair of jeans and some old worn out(but comfy) running shoes “ hello agai~” she managed to get out before the sudden hug. If felt nice, to be hugged like that, it was something she didn’t often get, but for some reason it seemed to make her feel a little more calm. The question came out of seemingly nowhere, it wasn’t aggressive nor was it anything but friendly. But for some reason Danica didn’t expect so much energy, or maybe it was the forwardness that was surprising. “i was wondering if you’d like to have some not awful tea with me, i was thinking of walking into to a café in Musutafu, and id love your company if your free”
Danica would smile softly, as she looked at Luna, it was almost impossible to be upset, stressed or even tired around someone who had so much energy to spare, it was kind of captivating how much energy she could produce. “my treat of course” she quickly mentioned as she tried to sweeten the deal a bit to sway her if she was on the fence.
There wasn’t too many people she was comfortable being vulnerable around, but luna seemed to defuse the situations as they came up, like when she made the tea for her, and she seemed to be a good person who liked to help out people. Not that she needed help but her mere presence seemed to help Danica’s low energy spike back up.

Now that Luna had properly asked her question, she started to rock forward and back on her feet with her tail wagging steadily behind her as she listened. When Danica finished bringing up the Café, Luna immediately grinned once again showing off an incredibly toothy smile. "Of course! I have nothing set up to do today, so I was originally just going to sit in my room all night studying. But I could REALLY go for some tea right now to relax~" she bounced up and down a few times at the prospect, as so far she hadn't really been invited out to anything by anyone. It really showed that she had made a friend so far and she wasn't completely messing things up with people, not that she thought anyone hated her yet.
Luna proceeded to pat down her pockets to make sure she wasn't missing anything. Most importantly she wanted her device on her person at all times just in case she was called, and to check on the time to ensure they got back before night fell. Though at the proposition of Danica treating her to the tea, Luna could only shake her head and chuckle. "No no, we should go halfsies on it! I promise I won't die spending a bit of cash on some girl time!" she gave a proud little gesture as she had been monitoring her expenses accordingly so she could live a comfy enough life here at Yuuei when she needed to go do stuff out around the city.
With everything in order, the dog-girl pumped her fist and nodded before looking to Danica once more. "I think I'm all ready to head out, we can go straight there if you have the place picked out already." Luna added on, as she didn't see a reason to stall any further. She had everything she wanted to go out for a little quality bonding time with a friend, all they needed was a cozy place to sit.

Her offer seemed to be good enough to Spark excitement in Luna, not a hard accomplishment it seemed but it was appreciated all the same. “ I was going to do the very same, but I felt like it had been a while since I had a large enough chunk of free time to do something bigger” she would explain. Luna’s Excitement had her bouncing up and down in anticipation. It was quite wonderful how much energy she had, it was something that Danica was a little Envious about, she just never felt much of a strong feeling towards things like that, albeit Frustration would likely be the closest to a strong feeling she had towards things, but not Luna she seemed to happy to let things get her down.
“ halfsies it is then” she said with a nod and a small smile, she wasn’t one to get upset by spending less money, though it was likely with how things were going she would need to get a part time job to help tie her over between the allowance that her mother would send. But Danica knew how little they had left, after all it took a large brunt of the fortune just to send her here and make sure she had a spot and supplies, not to mention the hundreds of dollars that were used for the text books. But she wouldn’t offer more then she could do, she was just happy that Luna was as cool as she was about this.
Once Luna was good to start towards town Danica would nod “ Yeah I didn’t remember how to say the name, but there’s a Café I went to a week ago or so, it had some sandwiches and tea and coffee, that sort of thing, shouldn’t been anymore than 20 minutes to get to it” she would explain with a building smile. She would pull the strap of her bag over her shoulder to readjust were it sat letting it sit over the collar bone.
Danica would lead as she turned towards the stairwell, making sure to linger when holding the door open for Luna to pass through. Before heading down the stairs and out the building, pausing to open the doors for Luna as they passed. Once outside Danica would glance up at the Bright blue sky, a few small scattered clouds roamed the skies, and the sun beamed down rather relentlessly, which how long the days were it felt like it was still part of the extended noon sunrays. She felt herself immediately start to warm up. “how are your classes going?, start anything fun yet?” she would ask to help direct the conversation, unsure as to what to talk about but knowing that the school was the largest common connection they shared.

As Danica began to explain the Café, Luna grinned again at how little they had to travel to get there. "That sounds like a wonderful find, then. With it being so close to Yuuei, if the food is good it can become a popular hangout spot!" the girl threw her hands behind her head with a beaming smile on her face at the prospect. She let out a bit of a chuckle as well, only solidifying the fact that she was incredibly happy to check this place out with a friend who was already familiar with it. It just made everything a lot simpler, after all.
The two of them made their way out of the building, with Luna offering a hearty "Thank you~" after every single door that was held open for her. Danica really was a polite individual to do all of this, it made Luna feel a little bit more appreciated, not that anyone had been too rude to the dog-girl thus far. She just really liked how nice her friend was, it showed that she wasn't alone really in school so far.
Now that Luna was out under the beating sun, her tail started to stand up on end wagging back and forth a lot more quickly. She let out a relieved sigh as she looked up at the bright sky with a hand acting as a visor to block out the sun. The student was certainly glad that she put on lighter clothes for this outing. It was a lot more comfortable to be out in the sun like this where it could hit her skin and warm her up, and it didn't turn her into a burning oven that overheats quickly either. It was the perfect attire for the plucky little dog.
That was when Danica brought up a subject for them to talk about, causing Luna to snap back into reality as she'd move up next to her senior to walk side by side as they got going. "Well... everything is about what I'd expect from a Hero School so nothing has surprised me too much." Luna thought out loud as she walked with Danica, trying to come up with something that piqued her interest. There was only really one thing that worked nicely.
"Oh! But I got to do a few combat classes with my classmates. Fighting alongside them is SOOO fun. We can't really use our Quirks outside of school so being able to see what some of them can do in those classes really mixes things up!" She excitedly began to explain the appeal of this despite it probably not being necessary. It just really made her happy to see how strong and cool some of her peers were. Some of them had some really intense and unique powers.
"As for classes in general, studies have been going nicely. I tried to snatch up the front-and-center seat so I could stop myself from being distracted too much." Luna let out a bit of a cheeky chuckle at that, feeling quite proud of herself for working with her issues as best as she could. That didn't mean she always was able to stop it entirely though.
Now that her own side of the question was done, Luna spun it back onto her friend so she wouldn't feel left out. "And what about you? Are the second-year classes treating you well?" Luna questioned as they walked side by side. Seeing as Luna was still a first-year she was sort of worried that maybe the difficulty would end up spiking each year. While she felt okay about her classes so far, who knew what was in store for her?
This train of thought caused her to look at the ground and press her fingers together, looking a bit more down than usual but she still kept her pace to make sure not to trail behind.

Danica smiled and nodded as Luna declared it a wonderful find, but in that moment, she recalled the black cat that accompanied her the last time she was there. She had been studying at the café, having to pick up a few things for school when a black cat showed up and they shared some of the turkey from her sandwich. Did luna have an immediate dislike for cats? It seemed extremely rude to just ask, and if the cat didn’t show back up today then she was worrying over nothing.
She would open each door for luna as they got to it, maybe it was just the canadian thing to do but she felt compelled to do so whenever anyone was passing though the same doorway, it only really got awkward when you were too far ahead or they tried to open the door for you as well.
Danica brought up a topic, picking school as it was such a large part of both their lives, it seemed like a natural starting point, though she hoped the conversation would develop into something far better and more interesting mostly because it was pretty much all people talked about. “fair enough” danica would respond unzipping her sweater to help regulate her body heat which was quickly rising in the sun.
When luna elaborated and described her interest in the combat classes and then the regular classes which seemed to be going good. Dancia would nod along, she couldn’t agree more she found the same sort of joy in her classes, being new to the school meant she knew none of their quirks “ oh for sure, i can see how that would be fun” she agreed. Pushing her bangs from her eyes with her finger and pinning it behind her ears “the unlimited possibilities have always been something i found incredible, but speaking about quirks and such. . “she would pause for a moment to think our her offer “ id love to see you in action, i bet your amazing.” She would say turning to glance at luna in the hopes that she sparked more of the excitement, there was something so intriguing about how quickly her spirit built up. “ i was hoping maybe we can do a bit of workout together in the future, i need someone to help get me there, once i’m there i’m good but getting there can be challenging” she would laugh a bit, after admitting her difficulties with trying to improve herself. She couldn’t help but to think having someone around with the type of energy luna had might be nice.
Once luna answered her question she would return the question back her way. “ as it happens i also sit in the front row, mostly to help me focus, i find it difficult sometimes, self-conscious even i suppose.” She would keep her pace as she moved down the small hill descending the road from the school grounds “ i get along with some of the students but i feel. . . Well i just don’t fit in well with the others i guess” she said speaking as honestly as possible, she didn’t want to start her friendship with luna, making up stories or fabricating who she was. “ the combat classes have been by far where i feel i accepted, though i think i’m too pushy for some of the other students, its something im trying to work on.” She would admit feeling with each thing she opened up about with luna the more she wanted to share. But she noticed as she had been talking luna’s deminer seemed to change.
“is everything alright?” She asked her green eyes focusing on luna, the energy she felt before seemed lacking now, and it concerned danica with the sudden shift, had it been something she said? Was it the offer? Or was it something more deep rooted? Danica couldn’t figure out, what she might have done but she was convinced it was likely something she said or did.

Luna took a bit of a distance from the conversation for a moment, instead opting to listen to everything Danica had to say before responding to anything herself. She wasn't too upset or anything but instead just needed a moment to think over exactly what she had to say. While the dog-girl was quite overexcited most of the time she was just as vulnerable as everyone else to becoming shot and overcome with anxiety and worry. But she certainly was interested in what Danica had to say, constantly looking over to see her friend and be more personal about what she had to say.
When Danica ended up asking if everything was alright, Luna flinched and let out a bit of an awkward chuckle. "Don't mind me I'm just... concerned about myself I suppose." Luna tried to sound a bit more uplifted but it ultimately failed, causing her to shake her head and continue on. "While the classes are going quite well for now, what if I can't keep up? When I see what I can do, and then what the heroes can do, I feel so outclassed by more than what three years can provide. Am I overthinking things?" she glanced at Danica again as she finished off, curious if she was alone in this boat or not. Sure, Luna was proud of her skills but she just didn't think that from there to when she graduated she would be able to close that gap of what she saw others doing. She didn't want to get kicked out or anything.
She had time to think that over more, however, causing Luna to give a soft smile over to Danica. She still needed to touch on the other things her friend brought up. So she would start with the offer to workout together. "I'd really be happy to train or workout with you though. I don't get a lot of personal time with others to practice and having another pair of eyes to help me along could be really cool!" Luna grinned again at the prospect of doing something like that with a friend. It would probably help both of them grow a bit if they got really into it.
While she still wasn't all energetic again, she was slowly getting her groove back just responding to her friend, doing her best to push the negativity to the back of her mind for at least the time being. "I'd say don't try to change yourself too much if it clashes with other students and how they like to do stuff. It is understandable to work on a little bit... but not everyone is supposed to be perfect for one another, just find your way to work with them, ya know?" she smiled happily as this was about the best she could do. There were students in Luna's own class that she just couldn't like to be around, but there was nothing stopping her from trying to get along. Why would two heroes get in each others ways, after all?
With their conversation moving along at a steady and nice pace, Luna continued to perk back up to get out of the small rut she was in, her gaze turned to face Danica once more. "Have you looked into any clubs yet? I decided to try out for Cheerleading myself!" the dog-girl pumped her arms a bit excitedly. The majority of the people she met during the try-outs were people she had never met before, so it was quite entertaining thus far. Plus some people had so much energy there, like her.

When Luna admitted she was worried about her progress, Danica nodded along, she understood the feeling, there was some that were just better suited for the role, others with the attitude but not the skill, or vise versa “ i think, you have never had to compare yourself to anyone else of your caliber, but its only natural to feel like your behind. But the important difference is whether you back down now or if you push yourself to be better is what makes the difference between a hero and person with a gift” she would reason. She had only a little bit of issues like that in her first year, but it was more or less the pressure her parents pushed on her that gave her the anxiety towards the others, she had a quirk that would be a good pro hero, but she lacked that attitude at times, which in a way was worse then if things were reversed. If Luna was going to open herself up like she was, Danica was going to do everything in her power to try and help out, it wasn’t often she got to see that side of anyone else, nor did they often get to see that side of Danica, who was all too often to proud to show any vulnerabilities. Danica would continue to walk and let her process what she had to, it wasn’t too awkward along as she didn’t stop moving or start to cry, and if that was the case she would stop to comfort her. After a bit of silence Luna seemed like she was starting to regulate her feelings. She would pull their conversation back to Danica’s offer, once she had said everything, she wanted to say about it Danica would nod in agreement “I do think it could be beneficial for both of us.” Casting a smile Luna’s direction. Danica could tell that she had not quite recovered from her moment of weakness, but she didn’t want to push the issue, she knew that she could be too brash in times that required a delicate touch and she didn’t want to scare Luna off. She had a feeling that in time Luna would either ask her more or figure it out.
Instead of ignoring Danica’s comment from before and pushing past it Luna brought the conversation back to it, which was pleasant and felt nice to have her concerned addressed as well, but the response she got was a little surprising. She full heartedly expected to be told she had to be nicer to people but Luna seemed to think that she only needed to get along with them well enough to do what they had to, it was comforting to hear aloud. “thanks for the advice” she would say wit ha small nod before taking a deep breath and looking up at the sky, the sun beamed down on them as they traversed route to Musutafu, she slowly peeled her sweater off, feeling the sweat in the small of her back. In doing so she revealed a small tee shirt with horizontal white and light blue stripes.
She would swing her bag off her shoulder and pull it to her chest opening it open to pack her sweater into it, while Luna started to talk about clubs. Danica’s attention turned back to her as she swung the bag back over her shoulder opposite of Luna. She lead with a question and then said she joined the cheerleaders, immediate regret flooded Danica. “aww really?” She would say in response, before continuing to say “ I was so close to trying out for cheerleading, but I lost my nerve before i got to the try outs, I just couldn’t shake the feeling I didn’t belong there, though I have thought about joining the martial arts club, though I’m still not sure I have time with the internships and classes.” She spoke in all honesty; she was still adjusting to the school here and she didn’t want to waste too much of her time and efforts on clubs when her goal was to graduate at the top of her class. “speaking of which, have you given any thought into which pro hero you’d like to internship with next year? “she asked knowing that Luna was a fan of some of her teachers, from their first encounter.

A smile slowly spread across Luna's face as Danica started to reason a bit with Luna about her issues. Ultimately they were probably very small problems that didn't even matter, and Danica was quick to give a it of advice and put her thoughts to rest for the time being. Luna had no desire to back down in the slightest yet and wanted to keep putting her best foot forward every day. If she gave up now because she felt behind, then her worries would be correct. She could prove herself wrong so long as she kept being the best hero she could be and learn to surpass everything she knew.
It didn't matter if she was as good as all the heroes were now, she needed to make sure she was keeping up with what she needed to do, and be. She beamed at Danica for a moment, smiling happily at her. "I... think you're right. I won't back down now, or ever!" she pumped herself up a bit, her fists shooting into the air to try and reaffirm herself a moment. It was hard to just rebound like completely, but it was nice to at least focus on the good.
From then on, the bit of chatting the two did went nicely enough that Luna started to cheer up a lot by the time Danica was putting her sweater away into her bag. The dog-girl couldn't help but grin a bit at her friend once more as she brought up Cheerleader, before rubbing the back of her head. It seemed there was a timeline where the two of them were in the Cheerleading Club together, perhaps there was always next year. She then brought up the Martial Arts Club, which caused Luna to beam a bit more.
"Oh really? I've been really interested in that Club but I'm waiting for the right time to join. I don't want to go poking around unannounced so I'm hoping they hold some sort of event." she chuckled as she mused on it. "My only real way to fight is through Martial Arts. I have speed and mobility on my side but I can't use it to generate much power. I really think I could join that club and make something of myself, hone my skills and become a real fighter!" Luna pumped her fists again. It really was a good idea, at least in her mind. She couldn't help but want to become the best martial artist she could be, using her speed and mobility to outmaneuver opponents and take them down with stylish mixups and well-aimed punches. Hand-To-Hand Combat was so cool!
That was when Danica mentioned heroes and internships. Luna couldn't help but flash a toothy smile as she immediately thought back to everything so far. It was hard to decide. "Oooh you sprung a tough one on me there, Danica!" Lana expressed this out loud, before looking up to the sky for a moment in thought. "I want to meet more of them before I just decide... but the ones I have met all wonderful picks! Like Zombie King for instance! He is just so cool. He has a really intimidating vibe to him at first and I mistook him for a genuine dead body on the first day of school, but he just has such a passionate feel to him. He's really chill and down to earth but yet at the same time there's just something about him that screams wisdom to me with what he has to say!" she has practically only brought up one hero so far, but she already managed to talk a whole lot. But she wasn't anywhere near done.
"And then there's Aquitaine, her energy is so contagious it makes me envy her! And then her looks, her hero costume is so cool! I couldn't help but fawn over the design and wish I could look half as cool some day! Oh, her power too! Her power helped me to run around a lot longer than usual, even if it felt bad right after... hehe" Luna would chuckle after moving on to talk about their combat teacher. She was a really cool lady.
"And lastly there's PawMight. He's like, SUPER smart and knows a lot about so many things. It is honestly incredible how much knowledge he can fit into that little head of his. It's really inspiring and he feels like a good pick just because of how much he could probably teach you." that was the last Pro Hero that Luna had met so far, and she had absolutely gone the distance on explaining this stuff, probably a bit too much actually. She was too excited.
"Any of them would make me really happy but... I'll wait on deciding, I have a year to meet lots of more heroes and hope they will take me under their wing next year!" she grinned happily, before turning her attention right back to Danica. "So who are you interning with?" Luna questioned briefly while glancing at her friend. Honestly, there weren't all that many heroes that students could go to, so it was possible Luna had already named one. But ultimately she had no clue which one Danica was even interested in.
Luna shifted into a more quiet position now to listen to what Danica had to say. Whoever her friend picked was bound to be a cool hero, and Luna wanted to hear all about it, or what she had to think about them.

Seeing the shift in Lunas mood Danica quickly picked up that she was starting to see past the insincerities and becoming more determined. “ I know I’m right, and you have a lot of potential” she would add in to continue the hype, doing what she wished others did for her when she felt down and finishing it off with a bit of a chuckle as Luna’s hand Exploded up into a fist pump.
When they started to discuss the topic of clubs, Luna would mention cheerleading and Danica would mention she wanted to but bailed last second on the try outs, but that she had interests in the martial arts club, Luna seemed excited by the idea of it “ we are pretty much in the same boat for that one, though I use a Katana as my preferred style, but I like the idea of using my hands better, it just felt limited.” She would share before saying “ if you hear anything let me know, and we can try out together.” Danica smiled as she watched Luna Pump her fists again, it brought her quite a bit of delight to see her in such a good mood again.
She listened after she asked the question about the Internships, Danica understood it was still early in the first year for Luna but Danica had a week to figure out brand new teachers and pick from them which was not easy, and at least if Luna had thought about it, it might make the decision easier when she had to make it. Her initial comment about spring the question on her made Danica Laugh a bit and look up to the clear blue sky with a smile.
The first teach she had brought up was from home room if Danica recalled correctly, she hadn’t had the pleasure of meeting them yet, at least not in a one on one discussion or in the classroom setting. “ill have to take your word for it” she would respond once she was pausing to think about the next instructor
The next she had talked about was Aquitaine, Danica was familiar with her, as she was one of the first professors she had considered for internship. Danica nodded along as Luna mentioned her Energy, her outfit and the quirk that allowed them to fight harder and be more reckless and find your limits in a safer environment, which was key in learning your quirk.
Lastly Luna mentioned Paw Might, who Danica had as a history professor, though the idea of a Possum with a short life span teaching them history still perplexed her, but she could not argue how educated he was. The Possum Physique always felt off to her, but she could not argue too much he was good at his job. She would normally comment, but it seemed Luna and her were on the same page for the two they both knew, it was hard not to Respect someone who were in their mentor role.
Luna’s attention turned to Danica as they continued to walk, She asked who she was interning with, and Danica would smirk slightly “ im interning under Aquitaine, which has been good so far, I chose her because I feel I lack discipline sometimes, and I felt like she would help me find my place as hero, and the fact she is a combat instructor helps a lot too.” She would pause to smile softly “and then my other internship is under Witch doctor, she is teaching us on patrols, mostly Search and rescue and first aid, and how to better use our Quirk with healing Capabilities. She is so kind and gentle I still have trouble picturing her as the take charge leader she can be” she would admit looking back to Luna to see what she had to say about them.
Danica would move across the road with Luna kicking a small rock across the road with them, it skipped and sputtered along the pavement until it collided with the curb and up onto the sidewalk they were heading to. She would shift her bag on her shoulder again and take in the scene as they start to descend the hill, the buildings well in sight now. She would take the bit of time to think of a good conversation starter for when they got to the Café, but left the task of carrying the rest of the conversation to Luna, if not she would happily walk quietly bedside her.

With a simple twitch of her ear, Luna picked up one of the names she mentioned when Danica started to explain her internships. It seemed that she really was with one of them, Aquitaine in particular. It honestly made a whole lot of sense to go with their combat instructor for the purposes of interning and learning how to fight. There was a reason she was placed in that position after all. And as Luna said before, she absolutely loved the vibes that Aquitaine gave off. However, the major issue was probably that Aquitaine was incredibly popular and as school went on, there would be more people clocking to work with Aquitaine. It was probably better to go for someone low key.
Next, Danica mentioned Witch Doctor. Honestly, Luna wasn't all too familiar with her aside from the fact that she doubled as both a Nurse and a Biology Teacher which was honestly very interesting. But due to the fact that Luna didn't have any extended interactions with her yet, any comments she could make were sort of null by the fact that she couldn't back anything up. Still, being supportive was nice. "She sounds like quite the practical teacher, it is nice to have someone who can be both sweet and powerful when the situation calls for it."
After she made her comment, Luna followed Danica across the road as she kicked the rock around, giggling a bit playfully before just stepping up onto the curb on the other side. "Ya know, it hasn't really set in yet, but by the time I'm able to partake in internships and apprenticeships... a bunch of the students I meet will move on to become Sidekicks and Heroes themselves. It's a little weird!" she'd giggle a bit before shaking her head. "There's so few Pro's that I kind of take their quantity for granted, I don't have to meet all too many to know what's available. But once all of the third years have graduated there's a possibility that we can internship with them all. That shakes up the options quite a bit." she'd pause for a second before looking down at the ground, her tail swishing side to side.
"I wonder if any of the upperclassmen would want to take me next year, it would really be cool to learn under someone who had to go through all of this schooling stuff too." Luna thought aloud for a moment as she looked up. She didn't know all that many of her seniors yet but it was still a nice idea to mingle with a crowd she already knew from school down the line and learn what they had to offer from their official work.
Luna decided to be a bit more silent again, instead opting to just take in the scenery while walking with her friend as they made their way to the Café. After this nice walk and talk she had with Danica, it was somewhat hard to even remember that the Café was their original goal. It was just so peaceful like this.

She would elaborate a bit after Luna mentioned how it was nice to see a hero that could be both sweet and powerful, with a nod she would reply with “ for sure, she is the nicest woman I have met so far, and she is a good teacher. I think what really seals the deal for her is that she went to medical school before all of the pro heroes started be instated, so she actually knows what to do for most injuries, and if for some reason she cant figure it out she can rely on her healing quirks.” Danica seemed to be growing a bit more in excitement as they talked about her, having been on a patrol with her once now, it felt more real to her then it had in her first year.
Luna brought to light the fact that she could be interning under a graduating third year next year, which Danica nodded to “i guess your right, I hadn’t really given that much thought.” She would reply as they got to the other side of the road. Lunas bashful comment about if anyone would have wanted her as an intern. “i truly believe anyone who fails to notice your talents doesn’t deserve you” she would respond with, a nice meaning but a bit of a brash way of saying it. Danica would take a few deeper breaths to take in the fresh air, it was not as fresh as she might have liked but it beat the stuffy and stale dorm air.
The next length of their trip was a little quieter, having either ran out of things to say, or they were just appreciated each others company in silence. But it either way it made for a short walk that took them to the street with the café Danica had picked out was located. Once there she would take a quick look around for that black cat she had seen last time to make sure that it was clear, still feeling it better to not bring it up for fear of upsetting Luna, by having assumed she wouldn’t get along with a cat, or that it was even something she had considered. It made her feel a little guilty that she had to hide her concern, but she pushed through it like she always did. “ so then” she would pause slightly as she placed her hand together and cupped them palm to palm, as she looked up to the tops of building, her eyes searching for dangers that might go unnoticed, her training have started taking effect on her everyday life. “ what do you think you’ll specialize in when you move into your internships?” She asked proceeding down the quiet street.
As they got to the café, there was a small patio out front with some iron furnishing, large red and white striped umbrellas placed in the center hole of each table to allow for shade while eating, and a small black iron fence that surrounded it, with planter boxes with assorted flowers hung towards the outside of the fenced in area. A small matching canopy hung over the door with a address on it.
Danica would open the glass door for Luna, as she had done for every other door they had come to, being polite as usual. Once inside the place seemed quite refined, she had only been inside last time long enough to get her food and coffee and then sat outside, but she would leave the decision to Luna to see if she had a preference. “ do we want to sit inside or outside?” She asked as they entered.
A small board rested near the door that indicated the special was miso soup, and whitefish with turnup in a tomato sauce on a bed of rice noodles. Aside from their special their menu seemed to be more sandwiches and grab and go foods. Once inside Danica would step to the side and let Luna take a look at the menu positioned at the counter where their cash register was located.

As Danica started to describe Witch Doctor a bit more, it brought a more contented smile to Luna's face. She really did sound like a really nice woman to get an internship with, and Luna was glad that her friend had picked someone with such a nice personality and skillset.
After that, Danica said something that caused a red tint to cross Luna's face as she got quite flustered, the dog-girl waving her hands frantically a bit. "I... I don't think that's the case at all! I think anyone is entitled to... er... well" Luna would stumble around with her words for a bit as she really wasn't expecting to be told such a thing out of the blue. How was she supposed to respond properly to being told that people who didn't recognize her didn't deserve her? It was definitely a nice feeling though, her face still burning from the slight shyness she felt about the subject.
As they arrived at the street that the Café was located on, Luna would take note of Danica looking around more, but not thinking too much about it as she would just continue walking casually until she was asked something else. It was an interesting question, something she had put a lot of thought into so far. "I'm caught up on a few things, though I guess there isn't anything stopping me from spreading myself around to learn things from multiple people." the dog-girl mused as she looked up into the air for a moment in thought. "I definitely want to get into search-and-rescue... I think my senses and speed would help in that field a lot. There's also tracking, which I think will do well for me when I need to chase down villains or find where they are hiding. And then chases, I'm sure villains have a lot of crafty ways to escape from trouble but I'll do my best to hone my skills in a chase." she would smile happily as she finished her list of things she wanted to specialize in. All of them had to do with her Quirk of course, but perhaps that was the point. Play on her strengths.
Now they were hading inside of the actual Café, Luna offering a polite bow to Danica as she held open the door. When Luna got inside, she'd clasp her hands together with her tail wagging back and forth. "Ahhh, it looks so cozy." she would exclaim a bit before turning back to Danica. "I'd like to sit in here, but I wouldn't mind going outside either~ Feel free to pick." she would answer honestly before looking over the menu. She wasn't too much of a picky eater herself, so it didn't matter too much in her eyes.
"I'll take the special, please." she would smile to the person at the counter, her tail swishing side to side happily. It hadn't been too long that they were out yet, but Luna was happy to be in such a relaxing environment with her friend.

Luna stumbled upon her words after Danica had declared anyone who didn’t recognize her talents dint deserve her, the uncertainty brought a small smile to Danica’s lips, it was her view point, and Luna seemed to modest to agree entirely, but Danica believed it to be one hundred percent true.
Once on the road Danica asked if Luna had planed to specialize in anything, “ nothing wrong with learning all you can” Danica would agree with a small nod, still keeping an eye out for the cat, turn her attention up as Luna did to ensure she didn’t spot anything that she hadn’t. Search and rescue was the first category brought up, which was something that Danica had a interest in as well, her quirk was good for it, with her ability to transform into mist it allowed her to push through rubble and spots a lot of people couldn’t search through without a lengthy process, it was crucial to find people fast when things like building collapsed, but so far as long as something wasn’t airtight she could get in, whether or not she wanted to be in that spot was the issue more often then not. Danica would nod in agreeance as Luna mentioned that her speed and senses were a good skill set for search an rescue, it most certainly was.
When Luna mentioned tracking, Danica would bite her own lip slightly, now in thought she considered what it would take to be a good tracker, and depending on what senses were heightened for Luna it made a lot of sense, though it wasn’t something she had considered, not even for herself, it just seemed like other people would be better suited then herself. “how do you practise something like that?” She asked thinking about the concept, it wasn’t something she had to worry about honing, as long as she trained her endurance and stamina she could use her quirk longer and without it being too taxing, but how did someone train their hearing, eyesight or sense of smell, people used those senses everyday and they rarely ever seemed to get better, the idea of actively trying to be better at seeing or hearing was a bit baffling.
Their conversation brought them to the café where Danica would open the door as she did before, though this time she stopped to bow to her, which was still something Danica was still getting used to, the accustoms in japan, were vastly different than Canada but she was slowly learning more and more, the only advantage she had was that her mother and grandfather were originally from japan.
Once inside Luna announced it was cozy, and Danica nodded in agreeance, she would turn back to look at Danica who was inspecting the menu board still, “ I sat outside last time I think inside might be nice” she would decide. The deciding factor was the cat that she had met last time, still struggling with the thought of Luna stopping everything not chase a cat, it seemed so silly to even consider, but she really didn’t know any better, she was dog like, but just how dog like she was Danica couldn’t determine for sure.
Her attention turned to the person behind the counter, she would smile hospitably towards the person, before looking to Luna as she declared the special as her pick. Danica followed suit, it did not look to bad, a nice balanced meal at least “if there’s enough may I have one as well too, but fish on the side if possible.” She would ask, which they were happy to comply with and mentioned if they wanted to take their seat it will be out as soon as it was ready.
Moving across the room to the table nearest the window, it was too nice outside to hide away inside, but the air condoning inside made for a refreshing change form the heat outside. Danica would slide into the booth seat pulling her bag off her shoulder and to the bench beside her as she glanced out the window to the patio, scanning one last time for the cat, but after that trying her best to rid it from her mind, the mere thought that she was wondering about Luna’s instincts made her feel worst about assuming it might have any impact at all. Now that they were seated, she had to think of a new conversation to try and bring up, something that would help them flow from their previous conversation to a new one. Keeping things light Danica decided to ask, “so Luna, what do you like to do with your spare time?, like when your not training for your future.” She asked, making sure to keep her attention on Luna now.
After a small amount of time the gentlemen from behind the counter approached their table with cutlery and serviettes, before asking ~ would either of you like tea or coffee? ~
