After doing this for the third time, she was actually quite relaxed about it and would see if someone would still show up. She was curious if the first years already had time to consider if they wanted to join a club and especially the cheerleader club. The last year they mostly did something outside of the school, but maybe they can organize sort of dance parties and show off their skill apart from just with the sports club. She should ask Orlov-sensei later, for now, it was just the new open day to try-outs. She was dressed in the blue and white cheerleader uniform. She had some extra pompoms that she took from the gym facilities in a big bag and they were next to a table. She had bought water bottles and made cupcakes after the cooking club try-outs. That had been a good idea and thus she had made it again and last year it helped as well. There had been a lot of things to do and if people would give a great performance, they could definitely use some water and sugar, maybe also for the nerves.
She nodded to herself and checked her phone. Some of the other members were busy and that made a lot of sense, for every member the internships and apprenticeship started. She had her own adventure with Igarashi-sensei already too. And she would probably have more meetings but on this early Monday evening, she could start with her try-out. She made sure that the music would work, it was just something to consider and she had thought about the music last year. This one was more of a joke and she and Farrah would have to discuss and keep an eye out on who would take over for next year. She thought about it, it was strange to consider they would graduate after this school year.
Music blasting from the speakers, the flyers inside the school and also the text in the U.A. chat would hopefully bring some people out and about here. She hoped it would get well and she hoped some more people would join. She bit her lip, it was definitely a bit of an empty group now, that so many people had left the school or had other things to do. She would just lean against the table and was waiting for at least two of the group to show up, she should maybe text Farrah one more time to say it was starting, even though her friend was busy, it was probably nice to show her info?

Curse technology! Kiersa wasn't all that used to chatrooms or video calls, shocking for someone of her generation some would say, but her mother was. The young blonde had been in a call with her the other night for a sort of check up on how things were going at school, was she making any friends, that sort of thing.
Her mother had spotted the school's chatroom was open and viewable on her end of the call, but hadn't said anything so as to not embarrass her daughter... That was until she saw one of the students making a notice regarding cheerleading tryouts.
So naturally Kiersa now found herself en route to the training halls where the tryouts were being held after her mother had wheedled her into at least giving it a try. She'd used the arguement that even if it wasn't "proper" like her uncle would want her to accomplish, the exercises from cheerleading would be great for her own physical abilities.
Not to mention it would give her some practice in regards to being in front of crowds and maintaining her confidence. Kiersa sighed as she considered that last one. Some of her fellow class-mates had been mentioning that she should apologise less and be more assertive... Maybe this would help? Assuming she even got past the tryouts that is.
Of course as she arrived and saw that it appeared that she was the first one there besides the student running the event, the blondes anxiety started to kick in since this meant she might be the first one to try out before seeing what anyone else would be doing... She gulped a little before taking a long slow breath and making her way over towards the third year in the admittedly rather cute outfit.
"U-Um... excuse me..." began Kiersa, bowing her head towards Rowan. "M-My name is Kiersa Bec, Class 1-B a-and I'm here to try out the umm... tryout." she said, a bit weakly before bowing her head once more in apology. "Th-that came out wrong, I'm sorry."

Prism was a bit of an eccentric when it came to personalities that floated around U.A, she was the typical sort of person you'd find around, to say the least. Prism was happily making her way over to the cheerleader tryouts with a bit of a hop in her steps. The chameleon eventually arrived seeing Kiersa from her first day and a new face that seemed to brood with seniority every so slightly. "Hello, friends!", she said gleefully as her eyes seemed to roll all over as she scouted around for whomever might be lurking around with her chameleon-like eyes. "I Prism Laverna, 1-A! Hmm, I told we do fancy flips here", she said with a toothy grin and swayed back and worth on her feet with her hands right above the top of her swaying tail. "Hi, kiersa?", she asked her name as if it was a question, unsure completely if that was her proper name or if she got her mixed up with someone else. "Nice see you again", she said in her typical broken Japanese. "I wish both us luck", she grinned to her before she put her hands up and gave herself a long stretch.

Misa had never really aspired to be a cheerleader at her old school, but when she saw the fliers up around the school for the U. A. Cheer tryouts something about it caught her interest. She was already pretty sure that she was going to join the cooking club and work with Tetsuko-senpai, but cheer leading sounded like it could be something that was a little more physical that could keep her busy. Of course, she was going to try to stick to Jaz's recommended workout schedule, but adding a workout that might just be a little more fun than just hitting the gym sounded like a great way to sneak in extra training that wouldn't feel so hard!
Now she just had to hope that she would make a better entrance than she had in the cooking club. She did not want to make a fool of herself again. No, she was done with that! As she made her way to the gym, she could hear the loud music that reassured her she was headed the right way. The song sounded very cute, and definitely something that cheerleaders would be able to dance to. Were they already practicing? Misa looked down at her attire. Jean shorts, a pink crop top, and a white zip up hoodie that was unzipped.
Not the worst outfit for practicing in, but not the best either. In hindsight, the fliers did say that there would be tryouts to go through in order to get into the team. Yeah, she had kind of breezed over that point. Was she already making a fool of herself? Maybe.
Shaking off the thought, Misa pushed her way in and spotted the three girls standing around. Prism, her room mate that Misa had expected to be here, Kiersa, whom she'd met before the school year, and last the older girl who seemed to be hosting the event. Were those cupcakes on the table? She had definitely made a good call coming here, then! Misa was easily impressed by food. She approached the group, smiling wide and waving a bit.
"H-hey there, everyone. I hope I'm not too late for the tryouts? It's nice to see you again, Kiersa. You too Prism... and it's nice to meet you, senpai. I'm Misako Suzuki, but please call me Misa. Everyone does. I look forward to working with you."
Misa would bow a bit at her elder, smiling up at her.

Ultimately it was Black Hole Sun who had convinced her of such a foolish thing in the first place, and so exposed too, while Jess was not usually a self conscious and embarrassed person she felt as though this cheer outfit she had picked out did nothing to hide her huge shoulders and accentuate her actual feminine assets. Still at least this skirt was more manageable than the one given for the school uniform somehow and did not expose quite as much of her thighs, which Jess felt mixed upon to say the least. Garbed in black and crimson the outfit did little to cover much of her torso on the bottom end but stretched up and over her traps luckily leaving just a hole for her neck and completely exposing her arms which she was what was the cause of the self conscious feeling that had sprung up in the first place. Still it could not be helped and since the crimson matched her eyes Jess had attempted black eyeliner and eye shadow to match with her outfit even more though she did not often use makeup. So it would be this way that she entered into the training halls where a couple people had already gathered. It seemed there was a blonde girl whom looked even more anxious than her, this put Jess Circe to ease and the Polish girl relaxed a bit as she entered into the room and assessed the other individuals there already. It seemed the student behind the table running the event was finishing up some form of administration work as the others had introduced themselves, arriving after these felt a bit awkward but Jess tried to maintain this wind of confidence that was coming up under her wings. At least there was plenty of water arranged on a table to hydration would not be an issue during these try outs. There also was the odd chameleon from her same class though the two had not really spoken since Jess had come into the school so the muscle bound young lady could not discern much about her aside from what little she had saw in class. The last person aside from her there was someone who was dressed in plain clothes and this again caused Jess to feel a pang of relief in herself, more confidence swelling within her chest as she plucked up the courage to introduce herself after Misako had finished speaking. With her right hand petting the back of her own head to soothe herself and harden her resolve further Jess would speak in a deep, yet gentle and soft tone her broken Japanese being only slightly better than when she just stepped off the plane upon arriving to this country in the first place. " Hello, my name is of Jess Circe and I am of here to being doing the try outs for um leading of cheer club? I am of happy to be of meeting you alls, I hope that today is of enjoyable to everyones!" Bubbly and a bit excited her Japanese started to slip as she finished her sentence and the large girl was glad that she had not fallen completely out of that country's tongue and into her own native one or even worse one of the countries bordering hers. Now all that the student could do was hope that her first impression was a desirable one and that she did not come across as too weird to the group, Jess was all too aware of how others could become when they wished to ostracize a new member from the group and one of her biggest fears would be not feeling welcome at this school. It had taken a lot of convincing to make her come to Japan in the first place, at first insisting she could instead live a simple life as a vigilante in Poland but her adopted parents had won the argument by playing on her desire to grow stronger. So despite these insecurities Jess had arrived all the same to this school in a foreign land with people that she was not even certain would like her, let alone ever accept her as one of their own people. Bura didn't seem like the cheerleading type-but he always had cheers to give when he was in a good mood, and lately, things have been great, so he decided to give this whole cheerleading thing a try. It could be fun and a great way to meet people.
Bura was en route to the try-outs-he decided to go after hearing about it through word of mouth, Bura frankly also thinks it could help with his mobility and people throwing control. So not only will it be fun, but it will also help in the long run of his hero career! Nothing should be dismissed as a learning experience! So Bura was excited to be doing this.
Bura heard the loud music long before he arrived at the training area. That was a clear sign he was going the right way. The song was very cutest and ear-wormy, not that he didn't mind, but it will probably be stuck in his head now for a few days, at least. Since this is a casual affair with no need for uniforms, Bura walked into the tryouts with a tight sleeveless black workout shirt, a leather vest, and some dark shorts with compress pants underneath, he was prepared for this clothing-wise. But his outfit revealed more of his darker skin and muscles that his uniform normally hides from the worlds, basically that he was built like a brick shithouse of a 14-year-old.
There were already five people when Bura arrived two of them he instantly recognized, Bura shot the two girls a beaming smile and yelled out, "Prism-chan, Misa-chan! You guys are here too?!" Bura run-up to the group excitedly as kept his beaming smile. Bura than look at the other girls in the group---he just realized he was the only boy here---kind of reminds him of the haircare girl group at his middle school where he was the only boy at, which put his nerves at ease---
But yeah the girls' he didn't know was a girl with black hair and a fierce but nice face, a gentle-looking blonde, and finally a muscular girl that looks like she could beat out Bura in the muscles department! Bura couldn't help but let an impressed "Whoa! You look strong!" Bura says at the tall muscular girl. But Bura shakes his head to stop staring at her to than brightly smiles at the blond girl and nods his head at her before speaking loudly for the rest to hear, "Nice to meet you all! I'm Burabura Buruburu from class 1-A a pleasure to meet you all today!" Bura excitedly said as he bows to the girl behind the table. Bura stood up as tall as he could proudly and had an excited smile on his face, "So! when are we starting!"

Holding a flyer in her hand about the Cheerleader Try-outs, Luna made her way to where they were supposed to start. In the long list of clubs for her to take part in, this was probably the one that fit her skill set and personality the best. The martial arts club probably would help her for her career as a Hero, as she wasn't all that strong so she needed to be quite clever to take people down. But when it came to a fun and exciting club that would fit well, this was it. Though she was unsure if she was going to be a bit too hyperactive for a Cheerleader. She didn't want to stick out like a sore thumb.
As she arrived, her ears perked up as she looked around the room. Immediately her worries were answered as so many wild and exciting faces were placed before her very eyes. Out of the group, Kiersa was the only one she was acquainted with. That meant a lot of new people to try and become friends with!
The dog-quirker bounced on her feet a few times excitedly before making her way over to stand with everyone. Her eyes were immediately drawn to the two big people, who she couldn't help but admire. First, there was the girl, who Luna beamed at. She had never seen a woman built like that before but it actually was pulled off pretty nicely! And then there was the guy who looked so fluffy she couldn't help but grin at him happily. He was big and muscular but his outwardly kind demeanor that he was showing the rest of the students here and the fact he was a student put her at ease that turned it into more excitement than intimidation.
Aside from Kiersa, who Luna was already fairly acquainted with, there were two other girls that Luna couldn't help herself from wanting to meet. One even looked extremely flashy and could easily act as a distraction for the dog! Last but not least was what appeared to be their Cheer Captain. She was already dressed up in a Cheerleading uniform and Luna couldn't help but admire the dedication to wearing it even to the tryouts. Seeing as everyone was introducing themselves when she arrived, she thought it may as well be her turn.
She quickly raised her hand to call attention to her, bouncing up and down as her tail wagged wildly back and forth. If she wanted to keep herself cool and collected in any capacity, all of this betrayed that fact. "I'm Luna Mishima, 1-B! I really look forward to making friends with you all!" that was about all she would say about that. She had no reason to introduce anything else about herself but even as she stopped bouncing, her tail continued moving even faster, showing she wasn't going to calm down anytime soon.

It was funny. Just one year ago, Kumoko was making her way to this location, just as she was doing right now. However, there was a massive world of difference with how she felt back then versus how she was feeling right now. Back then, Kumoko was very nervous, literally shaking in fear. But now? The spider-headed girl could not be more excited. Of course, one of the reasons for that change was due to being a cheerleader now rather than just trying out for the first time. But it was not just that. Throughout the school year, the girl had learned how to be less timid, less nervous, less fearful. Not that she was not any of those things anymore, but there was a definite improvement compared to how she was last year.
Times sure change, huh? I remember being such a nervous wreck last year. So worried about underperforming and disappointing everyone, that I ended up overperforming and exceeding expectations instead! But now I need to go cheer on the new tryouts!
Having already changed into her cheerleader outfit, Kumoko grabbed her pompoms and made her way to where the tryouts were taking place. Though she did not trip or crash into anything due to actually being super slow and cautious for once, it ended up foiling her plans to arrive early. It looked like quite the number of students had shown up already! Kumoko did not recognize any of them. They were likely first years. That made sense. Regardless, Kumoko waved and smiled cheerfully at them all.
"Hello everyone! It's good to see you all here! Let's have a fun day today!"
Unless someone stopped her to talk with her (in which case she would definitely be alright with chatting before the main event started), the spider girl would make her way straight to the team captain. "Hi Rowan!" She smiled as she bowed to her senpai. "Here's hoping tryouts go really well." The spider girl believed so. After all, if a clumsy dummy like me has the heart and spirit needed to be a cheerleader, then these students will do just fine.
Despite being very tempted by those delicious cupcakes, Kumoko refrained from taking one. It was best to let the others have some. She could wait. And speaking of waiting, Kumoko wondered just how many students would show up. Not that the exact number really mattered. She would cheer everyone on!

Although her face had a small smile and didn't show much of her emotions, she was more and more surprised with everyone that showed up and she didn't know where to look. Where was Farrah? Kumoko? Jisa? This was a little much for her alone? Surely Rowan had endured this before, she had asked Mikhail Orlov-sensei to be the club advisor and the first meeting of the cheerleaders had shown about as much people as there were in this room now and she had been picked captain and still proud of that. Some people had unfortunately left and bumped into other things they wanted to do and now it was up to Rowan to every year at least try and get more members, last year that was three and only one of them was leftover but she liked Kumoko a lot and her skills were very great and she seriously hoped the spider girl would show up and it would not give trouble to anyone. It would be nice to have more people around to support the martial art club and the sports club but also just to have fun. The first person seemed to be nervous and Rowan made a short bow to the blonde girl too and smiled, "Thank you for coming." She decided to say and looked at the colourful person next and suddenly so many came and focused on her and the introduction that she blushed a little, where was everyone! She thought she had seen Misa-chan before, but Rowan did not know where, she had not had much time in the other clubs that she was in. She looked up with big eyes to Jess and tried to give her just an easy smile as she had given to Kiersa before shifting her eyes to the other tall person, well at least the things she wanted to try out this year, might work very well with those two students. IT was definitely something to look forward to and she let everyone speak to each other while Luna arrived and she made a soft giggling sound, nice one. She looked again at the clock and thought about giving it a few more minutes and said so to everyone around and offered them to get cupcakes or a bottle of water already. She remembered Hye-Rin taking food with her on the first day, it had definitely been an inspiration. Now finally, someone that would help her, Kumoko arrived and she pulled the girl to her, before now finally turning to everyone. "Alright, everyone. Thank you all for coming to the try outs." And she made a small bow, "My name is Rowan Sakamoto and I am the captain, unfortunately my co-captain can't be here she has I think apprenticeship to worry about, but you will meet her eventually." And learn that she was responsible for all the yells and have fun. "This is Kumoko, she is a second year that joined us last year. We are but a small group so I look forward to see you all around and hopefully joining us. The idea for today is to have fun but also to show a bit what you can do and would like to learn from the cheerleaders and hopefully to make friends." She said and smiled shortly at Luna who had already said it, "So I can show you some moves later but does anyone want to start with a little performance?" They could have a little more fun later but this is what she did last year as well and it had gone fine if she would say so herself, she shortly looked at Kumoko to see if she had something more to add.

Well at least there was some people here that she recognised. Kiersa bowed her head towards Prism and smiled. "Yes, that's right Prism." she said when the girl said her name in a questioning manner. Misa and Luna she recognised as well and greeted them too. Then there were the two veritable giants, at least when compared to Kiersa, one of which was a boy! He did look very fluffy with all that wool though, and seemed nice enough.
And along came a spider. Or more accurately, someone with a spider for a head. That was something Kiersa was not entirely expecting, although she quickly mentally admonished herself for the momentary bout of fear she felt from seeing a massive spider. Miss Kumoko seemed nice enough as well and was apparently, according to Miss Rowan, a returning member of the cheerleading team here at UA. This definitely helped her confidence in this plan just a little bit. And then Rowan began to ask if anyone wanted to give a performance before she showed them all some moves.
Kiersa's mind immediately blanked. She knew that obviously there would be a practical side to this tryout, but now that the apparent moment had arrived... A zen master would be hard pressed to find a more empty mind than hers right now. The blonde contented herself with nibbling on a cupcake, wondering if anyone else would be the first to step up to the plate.

"Hmm, I start!", she raised her hand gleefully, she was a goofy person so playing around with tricks was something she did a lot with her unusual balance due to her unique body. She stretched and took one of the chairs in the middle of the area and swiftly she raised herself with one hand on the left side of the back of the chair and put herself upside before making the chair wobble on two feet and then turned around alternating her hands ever so careful with her body positioning to make sure the balance kept the chair from tipping over before she flipped off the chair using her strength to push herself off the chair landed on her two hands and proceeded to do two back to back backflips before failing the third and bonking her head on the floor. "Ops", she said as she rubbed her head a bit and giggled and then looked at Rowan. "Like this?", she asked as she tilted her head in a questioning manner, as her idea of cheerleading was weird flipping antics. What better way to show off her skills then a few flips and demonstrating her keen eye for balancing her body in the most awkward of positions.

When Misa had first arrived, the room was scarce and her confidence was much higher than it was now. People flocked in, one by one. Jess, this powerful and proud looking girl that made Misako feel like she was small and worthless. Burabura, another large and in charge personality showed up next and Misa question just what type of body was expected of a cheerleader. Should she even be here? Was she going to be able to keep up with monsters like this? As if to prove her wrong, Prism announced she would start and performed an impressive flip. She was naturally flexible and balanced, Misa already knew that, but seeing her in action made Misa a little jealous.
Misa did her best not to stare at the spider headed girl, despite the fact that the multiple eyes made her feel a little uncomfortable. For now, at least. She was sure she would get used to it after some time! Very likely she would, too. She looked at Bura first and smiled very wide. "Bura! I'm so happy you're here. You're trying out for the team too? That's awesome. Try to leave some of the spotlight for me though, alright?"
There were more people. Some Misa knew, many Misa didn't. She was happy to see them all, even if she felt a hundred times more shy with the huge stage in front of her. No, she was happy to be here anyway. She looked at the leader with a smile, deciding to use this as an opportunity to introduce herself to everyone she didn't know in one swoop.
"Hello, Rowan! It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Misako Suzuki, as I said before, but for the rest of the crew I'd repeat. Please call me Misa. I can... try a performance, but I am far from a professional. Not like Prism here."
Misa would step back and straighten herself, smiling wide as she struck a pose. She would attempt a normal cartwheel, stumbling slightly. It was far from impressive at all. When she stopped, her cheeks were a bit red as she struck a pose. "Ta... da?"
Yeah, that was hardly anything super impressive. She didn't belong here. Eying Jess's outfit, though, she wondered if maybe she could support the team in a different way? She always had liked making costumes and outfits. Maybe this was a good chance to get experience if she couldn't make the cut for the actual team...

With a simple wave to Luna who had introduced herself and was the last first year to arrive Jess would allow the events to play out and focus on them in her mind, she did not want to overstep her bounds after all and awaited a turn with eager anticipation. As the odd Spider headed lady wished them all to have fun and waved Jess would wave back enthusiastically before returning to her normal fidgety position as she stood and awaited to hear from the older student at the table. No doubt when she spoke things would begin a bit more officially after all. So Rowan was the Captain of the cheer squad she she assumed and Jess would snap to attention subconsciously as she spoke, training since birth overriding her nerves and anxiety. So the goal was to strengthen the bonds of the unit, this made a lot of sense to Jess who was used to a 'band of brothers' and knew how much better a group worked when they knew each other well. So they were to show off something that they considered worth while or impressive to show for the rest of the team, simple enough but what to do exactly? Luckily there was a girl who was eager to show off her own skills and with a simple phrase she moved out into the center of the gymnasium with a chair. Ah, gymnastics, must be. After a series of complex manuevers the girl pushed herself even harder than she should have or needed to by far after displaying her skills and bonked her own head on the third attempt of a backflip in a row. One alone would have been impressive after such a display and thus Jess did not think any less of the girl for over-exerting herself in this instance. Jess could also feel her the entire time as even without Black Hole Sun out she could literally feel the physical space around her, this allowed the Polish girl to know exactly how much skill the routine took and it was quite a bit, in fact Jess was almost certain they should have lost balance multiple times but somehow did not. The next girl who went up did the exact opposite of Prism and underestimated herself while not pushing herself as hard as she could and instead trying something she had not practiced as much as Jess felt the girl could output. It was odd and similar to how she would perform self consciously, due to this Jess wouldn't speak and instead a mask would form on her face the matter appearing like oiley tar erupting from her face and nigh instantly forming into an intricate design. It formed around her bottom face forming a black mask with teeth on it while shrouding her head and shoulders in a hooded black cloak complete with a pair of horns. With measured steps she would come up behind Misa who had just stuck her landing and simply say, " Misa is about to go into sky, brace self and Jess will catch with summon" With that she would hook her hands under the much smaller girl's armpits and lift her into the air...except she was much lighter than Jess had thought and she accidentally flung her before meaning too. The mask was pulled from her face like a vacuuum as it manifested exactly five meters above her and caught the girl gently who had just been sent rocketing towards the ceiling and no doubt may have hit it if the Summon had not been prepared as it had for these Slavic shenanigans, twisting it's body below the girls it began to be pulled down by gravity. Shooting like a bullet Jess sprinted to the exact spot where they were falling from, knowing and feeling it all intuitively thanks to the masses being within her sensory range and easily caught the pair before Black Hole Sun set Mia down onto her feet and whisked back onto Jess' face exhaling parts of itself as black smoke that would curl back and reform into the mask as Jess bowed in the four cardinal directions. " May I present Misa, she and I did preparation before hand and wanted to make funny joke before showing off her true skill" the girl lied through her teeth hoping the smaller one she had thrown into the air would roll with it in order to appear as though she had not come under prepared. While she was a good liar, the Polish girl usually did so to benefit others and made it very easy to keep track of her lies so that they would not become her reality. Instead as Jess often did, she used a bad thing in what she thought was a good way. [ WC: 802 ] |

As Bura excitedly wait for more people to join and for the show to begin, the first person to show up after himself was a girl with dog-ears and tail, for a second Bura thought this girl was the person he met on the chat app a few times, Arlynn, but she was instead Luna, from class 1-B. Bura smiles at the dog girl and waves at her and excitedly said, "Hello, Luna-chan, nice to meet you!" Bura said with boundless energy to rival the girl herself.
The next girl to come on in was a girl with the head of a spider, which for many people would be scary or any other cruel terms, but instead, Bura let out a wide grin at the girl and waves back at her. Bura yelled out to her, "'Ey! You must be Kumoko-senpai! A pleasure to meet you! It's Bura from the chat!" Bura excitedly introduced himself to his senpai face to face. Bura grins from Kumoko's words, and he said, "Yeah, we will be great!" Bura said with utter confidence in himself and the girls here.
Soon the cheer captain spoke up again, she thanked them for coming, and that her name is Rowan Sakamoto. And she confirmed that her co-captain was busy, and that will they meet her later. She confirmed that the spider headed girl was indeed Kumoko-senpai, and he didn't make a fool out of himself. Today is to have fun and to show off their skills and make friends. Which to Bura was great for him. And after talking to Luna, she asked of them for a little display of a performance, which Bura does have one in mind. But he'll wait for some of the girls to do theirs first.
Bura looked at the blond, worrying for her for a moment as she stood there-seemingly in a zen-like state, how impressive, Bura did yoga and stuff and could never reach such level of inner peace.
The first girl to show off their talents was of course Prism her enthusiasm for trying out new things was very commendable of her Bura could learn a thing from the girl, who took a chair and showed an impressive display of balance and agility by flipping off a balanced chair and backflipping once-twice-thrice---almost. Prism didn't quite land the final landing, but it was still impressive and fun to watch, so Bura supported his classmate by letting out a cheer with a "Woot, way to go Prism-chan!" and Bura pumps a fist into the air.
When Misa spoke to him, Bura excited smiles down at her with an equally big smile. "Misa! It's so exciting to see you here too! And yeah, of course, I'll leave you some spotlight, its a group effort, after all, got to make everybody look good!" Bura said hoping to get the girl psyched up who looked a little intimidated a moment ago, once Misa talked to him she spoked to Rowan and did a small cartwheel, from the way her cheeks were flushed and pink, she felt it was underwhelming which it was next to Prism.
But before Bura could give the girl a supportive cheer, the muscular girl who now had a cool mask on her face and suddenly had horns and stepped behind Misa. And flung her up into the air, Bura looked up at the girl slung like a ragdoll in the air, and the tall girl's summon prevented her from hitting the roof and soon tossed her forward to the ground. Where Jess then caught Misa and set her down to the ground. Bura was impressed by the girl's quirk, and Bura's mouth was slightly agape by the display impressed by Jess'quirk and quick thinking since Misa didn't have anything planned. Bura excitedly whoop and hollered after the initial shock washed over him he's gonna play it off with them to show his support of his classmates, "Awesome job you two! That was amazing!" Bura said as he clapped his hands excitedly.
After their display should be his turn which Bura showed his near-boundless confidence by walking to the center of the gym while cracking his fingers and wrist as he walked. Once he reached the center of the giant gym, which left him more than enough room to move as himself, despite his massive size, he is more agile when it comes to more over the top movements, which cheerleading is all about.
Bura started but taking in a deep inhale of air and suddenly doing an athletic front flip low to the ground and suddenly fluffed up his wool and from the low stance jumped up high in the ground all seven meters up. Where he flipped himself a few times and as he reached the apex of his jump upside down he unfluffed his wool and made himself right side up as he descended quickly to the ground where he landed on the ground with a heavy superhero landing, and he raised from the ground lifting his fist over his head in a proud manner and he dramatically lowered his arm and pointed at Prism, and said, "Learnt that idea from Prism-chan!" Bura said with a wide grin. Hoping that was a decent enough display.

It wasn't all that hard to make Luna a beaming, happy little dog. And the kind words from Bura was all that she needed to continue beaming at him with a joyful little sound. "Aww, nice to meet you too big guy!" her tail wagged back and forth rapidly as she responded, before trying to reorient her focus on the next person who arrived.
This lady had a lot of kind energy about her as well, which seemed to be a reoccurring thing of the people joining this club. Who could have guessed that those looking to join the cheer club would have such a cheerful attitude? Luna could have, of course, that was part of why she was there! From the looks of things, this lady had some sort of... spider quirk? Luna wasn't all too sure what was going on there but their energy made Luna sort of pass it by without too much of a thought.
The new lady and the cheer captain talked to one another, making Luna assume that she wasn't here to try out but rather just to see the new kids. That was respectable, and the more people that Luna got a chance to meet from the Cheerleading club the better. It didn't take too much time either until Rowan introduced both herself and Kumoko, who was in fact someone from the cheer club already. This welcoming atmosphere made Luna quite happy, as she was really looking forward to this especially after hearing that Kiersa was planning to be here too.
They were supposed to put on a little performance now, or at least they could if they so wanted to. But honestly, Luna didn't have much prepared for this as she was mostly coming here to hang out, make friends, and learn. She hadn't been apart of any cheer squads before so any moves she had would be DIY'd at best. But Luna was confident that she had the skillset to not fail here.
That didn't matter too much for the time being, as it seemed that others were fully content going first. It all started with the one Prism girl who seemed relatively confident in what it was she wanted to do. She ultimately messed up near the end, but the leadup was certainly impressive, causing Luna to clap. It was unreasonable to expect someone to be an expert on their first appearance at tryouts.
After that was the girl who called herself Misa, it was a cute name. Her performance was a simple cartwheel but it showed that she had some level of talent that she could cultivate through the training they would all do together! Luna would clap for Misa as well despite the simple trick, her tail swishing side to side excitedly. But that wasn't all, as the one named Jess came up and did a little performance with Misa! "Whoaaaa!" Luna exclaimed watching their performance, clapping more excitedly this time. She had no clue if it was premeditated like Jess said or if it was made up on the spot but she didn't care, it was cool!
Last up was Bura, the cool wooly guy that caught most of Luna's attention from his kind attitude and warm looks. How was a big guy like that going to do something so gymnastic though? Luna really didn't have any clue. Despite that, her concerns were quickly quelled as Bura leaped high into the air and used his wool to act as a sort of weight distribution device! Or something, she didn't actually know the science behind stuff like that but she didn't care either because she followed what was known as the rule of cool. His cool superhero landing didn't hurt either, causing Luna to jump up and down a few times while cheering him on as well. "That was so cool!" she exclaimed happily, obviously extremely excited by all of the people here showing their all.
Given the order of everyone going so far, next up was either Luna or Kiersa. The dog-girl slowly panned her gaze over to her classmate and upon fixing her eyes on Kiersa, it was immediately obvious that she wasn't ready for anything herself. Luna couldn't just leave her friend alone like that, so the dog-girl put on her best smile and ran straight up to Kiersa with a bit of an idea. "Hey! How about we dance together Kiersa? Something a bit less... flippy, to start with~" Luna offered this quite abruptly, but honestly it was the only thing she could really think of. It wasn't like they were going to be professional dancers or anything right off the bat, but she wasn't expecting Kiersa to do a flip with her anyways. Maybe starting it off with something a bit more relaxed, like singing or dancing, would fit the girl better.
"So how about it, let's get our cheer on~" she'd exclaim again while sliding herself just a couple of feet away from Kiersa before doing a couple of simple dance moves. Nothing too extravagant, but just enough to hopefully loop Kiersa into dancing with her.
