Hikawa Gyousomo April 26th, 2073, Tokyo Hospital Entrance.
''Moisture level in the air is slightly under average, however, it has a clear density, no dust seems to be present.'' The lady in the burgundy coat slowly walked through the entrance of the famous Tokyo Hospital. She held a recorder which she spoke into, various details and rather common info, listing it all down to the small neat recorder in her left hand. ''Floor is clean, volume from the hallways seems to be tolerable, although closing doors should turn more common.'' She spoke all the way until reaching the helping desk, she gently turns the recorder off before giving a warm smile and a greetful wave to the receptionist. ''Yes hello, I am the new doctor for this facility, I was told there was someone waiting for me, but I don't seem to find this certain person.''
The lady behind the desk adjusted her glasses and nodded with a smile. ''Ah I heard vague details of your arrival, sadly it is been informed the doctor you were to meet up with is sadly currently grieving for his wife, it's been a tragic accident.''
''Ah... that is very unfortunate, that explains the lack of communication from yesterday, if you do get contact with him please send my condolences for him.'' Hikawa bowed gently to show respect, however she still needed someone available to show her workplace. ''That I will do, but now you must be confused to where you should be lead, right? Do not worry miss..?'' ''Gyousomo, Hikawa Gyousomo, you may just write me down as HG.'' Her name was written down into the timetable, the receptionist couldn't be the one to guide the newcomer around, so she had to be smart and ask someone with more flexible time.
''I think I know the solution to your case Miss Gyousomo, or should I say Dr. Gyousomo!'' Hikawa felt a tad bit embarrassed and flicked with her hand, smiling though. ''Oh please, titles aren't that big of a deal to me, but it does show some authoritiy, mmmh..'' The cable phone was quickly picked up by the receptionist and connected to a practice room.
''Yes, hello! Could you please come down to the entrance hall? We got a new doctor to the building and would like to be shown around, are you available?''

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Rin had been an aspiring medic for quite a few months. It had been even longer since she had frequented the hospital. Donating blood, listening to seminars, shadowing doctors whenever it was appropriate, acquiring all the knowledge that she possibly could. Like a sponge, sating itself in the liquid of knowledge. Currently, Rin had been preparing to go to the train station and return home. For today, the raven haired female had been here on quite the official business. It had recently been made aware to all the students, that internships would be going out in due order. However, it was also made aware to them, that the ones to pick the students for internships, were the institutions and individuals willing to have internships. Thus, Rin had taken it upon herself to come by the hospital to leave some papers and speak for her cause. Everything was well ordered, neat, signed, prepared. Every single formular had been delivered at the appropriate places, barring one. A doctor whom Rin had occasionally been listening to and asking questions during seminars was missing. A bit of digging had been done into the matter, revealing a tragic accident. There were no details available to the young raven, and it truly wasn't her place to know more. Hospital staff and police would manage such things...
Rin was wearing a simple outfit from Yuuei. It was clean, well fitting. The girl's long dark hair was gathered in a sleek ponytail. Nails were almost obnoxiously clean without polish. Rin wasn't perfumed, nor was there anything else about her that stood out. In short, the girl was completely aware of all the risks of infections, allergens and the like, that could cause problems at a hospital. As the girl was leaving however, the floor receptionist called out to her. "Hey, Kurama-kun. Due to the accident, we're a bit understaffed. Would you be willing to guide one of our newest additions to the hospital around? Promise it won't be much trouble." Stopping in her tracks, Rin turned around, looked for the time, before nodding. It wasn't that late, and she had plenty of reason to offer her assistance. Even if the task was a little more mundane than what Rin really wished the future would bring. Getting into the elevator, she offered the floor receptionist a warm smile. The machinery quickly escorted the girl down to the entrance floor.Stepping out of the elevator with her usual bright smile on her lips and a brisk pace to her steps, she approached the counter. There, she was greeted by the receptionist. Together with a certain someone whom Rin had never encountered at the hospital before. Very likely the person whom she'd be showing around the hospital. Or well, at least around the general areas. Approaching, Rin offered a short bow of her torso, then a hand. "Greetings. My name is Kurama, Rin. May I be of service?" Immediately as the hand was taken or greeting otherwise accepted, Rin turned to the receptionist. "Please, would you be so kind as to give my internship papers on to.. well, anyone I haven't already given?" Placing the internship papers onto the desk, the receptionist seemed willing to take it. That is, if miss Hikawa didn't decide to claim the papers for her own. "Okay, Miss. If you'd please follow me, we'll go through the hospital's more important rooms, so you know your way around. Let's begin by heading to the ER." Rin gestured for Hikawa to follow her. The ER was ground floor or basement. Typically the places where no one else would be in the way. Unfortunately, recently, the ground floor often had... dumbasses parking in the way, so the basement transport was more often used.

Hikawa Gyousomo Hikawa enjoyed the small moment of silence, just waiting for the guide to lead away within the massive Hospital. Truly Hikawa has never been in such a large establishment, and she's been through a dozen at least. She leaned on the desk with her left arm and eyed towards the incoming elevator on the other side of the hall. The young bright girl with raven black hair was a delightful sight for Hikawa, someone showing a good influence to the surroundings. ''Quite the peculiar attire, a student? Yes, that is indeed an uniform from that famous Hero School, although I didn't imagine one working here, unless it's sightseeing?'' Asking herself questions mentally Hikawa straightened her posture and gave a bow back. Shaking hands with the young girl Hikawa for a brief second took the time to feel the pressure of Rin's hand. ''Yep, this is truly not an anyday girl's hand.'' She smiled, not letting the hand inspection turn into anything big, gently ending the handshake eagerly to show her excitement to the place, placing her palms together.
''A pleasure Miss Kurama, my name is Hikawa Gyousomo, but just call me Hikawa~ I just need a simple guide to through the floors, nothing too crazy.'' Hikawa showed a very much appreciated attitude to the well mannered entrance of Rin Kurama, she quickly got a liking to this girl, did she actually work here? She must know alot to be able to guide in this massive Hospital, questions piled up within Hikawa's mind, but one definitely took the spotlight once Rin presented those resume papers to the receptionist. ''How interesting, she definitely has a liking to this sort of place, a pro hero and a medic? She shows dedication, hopefully her skills are as strong as her ambitions.''
''My that is a rather interesting paper you got there Miss Kurama~'' Hikawa had a keen eye for things that was important, with a swift touch she halted the movement on the resume and took a quick look over it. She noticed the name and class year, and some basic information. ''Guess I should take a look on it aswell no?.. my my, student of Yuuei I see? Sounds promising~'' She looked over at the receptionist and tapped at the sheets of paper on the desk. ''Mind giving me a copy later today? I will just get this guide and do my check up~'' The receptionist nodded with a bright smile, taking in the papers before both Hikawa and Rin went on their way to the ground floor. ''All my points seems to be correct so far, but let's get a bit more deeper.''
Hikawa took in the heart of the building, where everyone was busy and absorbed in the world where every second matters, a rather panic infusing state, but she could see the professional side of Tokyo Hospital's ER. ''I noticed not as much traffic by the entrance hall, is it for decoration? I can certainly tell this facility is in good hands, clean, enough space between rooms, and these's not smell in the air, marvelous.'' She commented throughout the walk in ER with Rin right next to her, near the end of the groundfloor Hikawa took the opportunity to formally ask Miss Kurama her relation with this hospital. ''Miss Kurama, I can see clear passion within you, you must've been here for some time too, so calm and collected in this busy establishment, a solid trait for a hero yes?'' While speaking Hikawa gently took her hat off and pushed her bangs to the side, revealing her thick eyeband. ''Do you work here officially? Can't imagine you get to spend too much time here during the week with heavy studies such as heroism, I can only imagine it is giving you more than you can chew, I've heard being a hero could very well be the most responsible job currently in this mess of a world.'' She continued to talk until had gotten all the way to the elevator, loosening her coat a bit due to the temperature.

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy As the new doctor introduced herself to Rin, the raven haired female offered the warmest, kindest smile. As the new doctor reached out to accept Rin's papers seeking internships here, Rin seemed incredibly surprised. Though, quite honestly, it'd be quite alright to work in an internship underneath the newest doctor at the hospital. Rin would get to both teach and be taught. They'd both be doing something new to themselves. Plus, this was the first person with a doctorate to happily accept Rin's papers. Most others seemed slightly dismissive of the idea of having someone as young as her during an internship week. Pleasant surprise to be so willingly accepted as a potential future protegé. "Yes, please. I hope what you read in my papers will be insteresting to you, Hikawa-sama." Rin spoke in a joyous tone, moving with a chipper momentum in her step. Today was being quite a good day, and it simply kept becoming better. Entering through a couple of doors, while holding up the little name badge that she had gotten while working here at the hospital to grant her access to areas normal public didn't have, Rin began explaining a little of their ER. "The problem with the ER area in general is, that individuals who believe they're in need of emergency care will park just outside, making it difficult for ambulances to arrive properly." Rin scratched her cheek. It was a very unfortunate situation. Despite several really high fines, as these actions could cost the lives of innocents that were truly in need of emergency care. "Doctors and carriers typically arrive in the basement these days. The traffic down there.." Rin pointed down the hall. Some plastic blinders were making it difficult to see down there, but the blurred outlines of individuals, hospital beds, equipment and general business made it very clear how busy it was. Rin had stopped before getting down there for a specific reason. "I'd advice against going in there without good reason. We'd only get in the way of important movements." Nudging with her head, Rin took Hikawa towards the elevator. They'd be going upwards. Specifically, heading towards the treatment centre of the hospital. This was where Rin suspected Hikawa-sama would be spending most of her time. Normally the hospital only brought in faces from the outside for new, interesting projects. Simple nurses or doctors were generally trained at the hospital itself. Or at the local university hospital. Stepping out on the 6th floor, Rin looked around to make sure the coast was clear, before slowly walking out. The girl's boots echoed through the halls. It was a lot more quiet here... "This is the sixth floor. Here we have most of the more delicate equipment. I've only occasionally been allowed in here - and have never worked with any of the equipment personally." Walking a little down the hall, cautious, not entirely sure if Rin could show Hikawa around the whole place or only limited spots, Rin gestured to the signs above. "Down the opposite end of where we came from is a lot of our scanners. MRI and the like, some newer versions too. Down this path, is the newest equipment. Nano-machines for treatments and such. Go up one floor, to the 7th, and you'll have more experimental methods for treatment..." Walking over to panes of glass, Rin gestured inside so that Hikawa could get an idea of what equipment was available. If the woman wanted to take a look inside, Rin would oblige. As long as Hikawa was the one leading the way into the specific areas, Rin wasn't overly afraid of following. If not, the tour would simply continue, leading Hikawa back to the elevator. This time, headed straight for basement area two..."The final place I should show you, is the one I come in most - aside from the children's wing on floor five. I like to make tours there, trying to cheer up the younger patients." Rin said gleefully, as they made their way downwards. This area of the basement was a long corridor with several smaller rooms to each side. Looking around cautiously, Rin then stepped down the corridor. "..This is the low practical area of the hospital, and thus the area where I, with my low practice, am most welcome. Blood donations, dialysis, blood tests and such all happen down here. The blood bank is also located down here somewhere, though I, obviously, have no access." Stepping around a little, looking for an empty room, Rin opened the door to lead Hikawa inside. Gesturing to the different needles, syringes, dialysis machines and such available. "Not sure how relevant it is, but felt like showing it anyway... On occasion, I've assisted nurses down here. Taking blood samples, assisting with dialysis, donating blood of my own... It might not be much, but these little rooms inspired me to do more with medicine... It's partly why I was hoping to get an internship here. At the hospital."Quietly, Rin turned to Hikawa, offering the new doctor an enormous, warm and bright smile. Shrugging to herself, the girl wasn't really sure where else to take Hikawa. Practically any other area that might be of interest was off limits to Rin. "Anywhere else you wish to go, I do not have any clearance to follow. If I can be of service, please do say. I'll do my best to assist." Rin offered, trying her very best to get on Hikawa's good side. It was a very rare chance to get to speak to a doctor one on one. It was even rarer that they showed some kind of interest the other way. Therefore, Rin was doing a little extra to leave a good impression. A solid mood, thorough tour, explaining what Rin knew, while also expertly staying away from areas that could get Rin in trouble. Hopefully, all traits that Hikawa-sama could appreciate. Hopefully traits that would, through sheer miracles, land her an internship at Tokyo hospital. Please, please, please!

Hikawa Gyousomo Hikawa listened to each soft word coming from the young charming girl, she had the positive vibe any hero should possess, Hikawa however wanted to further test this side of Rin. If Rin was truly gonna go for an internship in this large establishment she'd need to give twice as more than she can recieve. Hikawa didn't spoke more until they both stood in the elevator up to the 6th floor, she twirled her blue bang idly while thinking, turning her eye to Rin with now a curious playfuly smile. ''Do you happen to have clumsy hands? They say that those who has it harder can reach higher peaks, what kind of equipment have you used? Not that I imagine you've gotten to try alot, but even something as simple like a syringe would require fine movement in the fingers~'' And speaking of equipment, the floor they reached began to show just how experienced Hikawa truly is, she peeked into every corner past the door windows, observing the layout of things.
''Must be a real bummer to not be able to use this sort of stuff huh? I can already tell most of these aren't even touched, I wonder why so, hmmm mm~ I might have a look at them later, perhaps I can make the big machineries more trendy around here~'' Inspecting a large eyelaser operator she pondered if this size scares the young children, eye surgery if most common in the youth afterall. She proceeded to simply just follow Rin as she continued explaining the floor, listening with a very much joy filled expression, Hikawa clearly was showing her appreciative side to the young raven haired lass. They had now reached to the 7th floor, this one took her a bit by surprise. This was definitely the place Hikawa will be doing most of her research, the place to truly observe and inspect the endless variations of the human kind. ''Simply marvelous, now this is the kind of place I enjoy, the advanced stuff.'' She often made these short comments whenever something interesting pops in her head, she liked to share things. ''Perhaps I will bring you here sometime, I'd certainly be interested for what your quirk is!'' With a teaseful chuckle she held her mouth, showing a bit of her playful side. Both stepping into the elevator, back down to the basement level, but this time it was in a whole another location.
''Hm? You have the young patients be that far up in the building? The busy city truly put a big trust on that detail, back in the hospitals I worked in children weren't allowed anywhere higher than the second floor, before you know it a fire might break out on the ground level.'' Hikawa merely spoke from her own experience, this hospital was giant so alot of stuff would be rather different from her previous workplaces, but what Tokyo Hospital had in common with her past work is the important rooms in Hospitals, practice rooms. She eagerly stepped forward and looked around inside one of the empty rooms. ''This really takes me back, when I also only got to do practice work here, it has that name for a reason I suppose! But this was here where magic happened, where young people get inspired, such as yourself.'' She turned back around towards Rin with her arms crossed. ''Don't underestimate this place, this is probably the most relevant place I will ever see from a hospital, and it will probably be the same for you.'' Wagging her finger with a bit of a smirky expression. ''Your love for this Hospital migth've very weel been born in this very room for all I know, cherish your days of practice.''
She swiftly stretching her arms, giving a bit of a yawn out, indicating their tour should be over soon. ''I understand you are very much interested in internship here, I am also very certain you wanna work her like a true doctor someday, but let me tell you this miss Kurama~ The path is very long, and it is so so sooo very rough, almost a bit unforgivable, but once you're through the worst part then it's only upwards!'' She had a clear intention to have Rin never forget that, a very most genuine honest comment, she was afterall speaking from her own perspective. ''I'd love to just accept your resume, but first I also look through other resumes sent to me, cause y'see, I kinda sent an advertisement to Yueei directly to see an opportunity for me to tutor a few futuire heroes, but as far I can tell you are the only one dedicating yourself to this place, you got a good chance~'' After positive speech she looked around, looking for something.
''If I wanna go somewhere else? Well, not exactly a place, but I am simply -dying- for something sweet, how about we grab something to eat? On my tab~'' Even if the tour was over between the two Hikawa wanted to spend just a bit more time with Rin, but time is strict, so a simple snack would do, she is a big sucker for most chocolate treat, especially the nut variant.

WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy Hikawa was following behind Rin with a calm expression. Rin hadn't encountered many doctors, but most of them seemed to always be busy. Always working on something, always having their hands in something. Hikawa-sama on the other hand, seemed genuinely calm and collected. Like this whole business was well within the parameters of something the doctor could've predicted. There was this odd air around the woman, as if she was larger than this entire hospital put together. It made Rin feel at ease. Hikawa's pressence exuding a confidence that, by extension, made Rin feel rather confident. "I'm somewhat of a klutz under normal circumstances, honestly." Rin explained, as she rubbed her cheek. Lying wasn't a strong suit for her, nor was it something she'd ever consider doing to gain herself a benefit. So, the truth was the simplest and easiest form for Rin to communicate with. Even when it, on occasion, meant upsetting people. "I'm terrible at doing anything with my hands when I get distracted." Rin was also a bit of an airhead, so distracting her under normal circumstances wasn't even that difficult. All one would have to do, was pique her interest in some way. Enough that it was more interesting or pressing that what she was doing. There, however, was quite the caveat to this. Because when it counted, Rin wasn't of the type to fumble or make mistakes."When I'm focussed on the task at hand, I don't believe I make many mistakes. It's almost like the world around me ceases being important. I've once zoned in so deeply on what I was doing, that my roommate at school couldn't catch my attention despite practically shouting at me." Yup, in that way, Rin was also quite a unique personality. Working, especially under pressure or interest, could completely absorb the girl in whatever she was doing. Though, honestly, that was not how she would describe herself when it came to doing work. So, to fully answer the question, Rin took the answer down a different direction than what Hikawa may have initially considered. "I've worked with some equipment at the Semper Fi scandal. Though, my experience with tools is limited... I uhm, may not have the steadiest hand in this hospital, nor the most extensive knowledge on specifics, but.." Rin fished out her phone from her pocket while she was speaking, rummaging through the different files. Naturally, being as she had treated patients at Yuuei during the drug incident, she had every single file saved. The order on her things, as she showed them to Hikawa, was impeccable. First there were the folders. Named after the student, with the date the folder had last been updated in brackets. Inside the folder, were the raw data from the tests. The amount of different substances in the blood, eye dilation when exposed to light, that sort of thing. Then, at the very bottom, was a video recording where Rin explained, step by step, the procedure she had gone through and the treatment administered. All so that, if someone should need to pick up her work - or question whether what she had done was ethically responsible - all the data was readily available and easy to sift through. Well documented."I'm extremely methodical. If a mistake was made, it'll be extremely easy to find out what the mistake was, when it was made and therefore how to fix it. I'm not going to pretend like I am perfect, because I am not... ...but I would promise, that no mistake would go undocumented nor un-rectified." Rin seemed rather sure on this. Well, given that she had a whole dossier filled with proof that she made mistakes, yet fixed them, perhaps that wasn't completely unfounded. The extreme ordering also seemed to warrant Rin calling herself methodical... "I understand. Though, I wish to not only be a doctor. I wish to be a hero, that can protect when neccessary, fight when necessary and mend wounds and broken hearts when necessary." Quite the big dreams to have for such a young girl. Yet, with the confidence she spoke in, there was no doubt that this was exactly the dream she would continue to chase. Regardless of whether she got an internship at the hospital or not. Just like Hikawa said, the road ahead was long, unforgiving and inhospitable. Rin had known this long before she picked her path."...As for getting something to eat, I'd strongly advice we venture out into the city instead. There's a few places around here providing take out. It's both cheaper and higher quality than what you can get inside the hospital. In earnest, hospital food is not the best." Rin grimaced a little, yet quickly offering a solid smile as well. If Hikawa was willing to walk for a bit, they could get something of much higher quality. Perhaps that is the reason so many restaurants and take out places had settled so close to the hospital. They knew that visitors and patients who weren't interested in the grub that the hospital cantina served were unable to walk very far. Thus, the immediate vicinity of the hospital was a good place to earn a little extra money, while also providing a much needed service. Come to think of it, it was an arrangement that both benefitted the restaurants and the hospital visitors. Quite ingenious how capitalism sometimes worked magic, while other times working nothing but misery."We can get burgers, or china boxes, or a simple hotdog. Whichever has your fancy, really. Also, Hikawa-sama, you don't have to pay for me. Truly, I've been pleased just for the opportunity to accompany you on your first day at Tokyo Hospital!" Once again beaming, the little raven haired female was doing her best to live up to her hero name. The Crimson Angel. It was, coincidentally, a nickname that had come about by her countless visits to the blood donation here. The angel of blood sounded a little awkward. The Crimson Angel, however, sounded much more approachable.

Hikawa Gyousomo Hikawa's eyes gave a very faint hint of sparkle when browsing the context Miss Kurama displayed to her, this well documented case showed she can be dedicated when she needs to, also that this small girl supposedly was in two dangerous events. She didn't have much of a brave look on her, but bravery often appear behind layers of doubt, once those doubts are gone the strong feeling of responsibility will lead anyone on the right path. Rin must've been through that kind of phase more than once. ''How... fascinating, I didn't think you got yourself in such situations, but you recorded it all, kept it all safe, but keeping such information, isn't that dangerous itself? To some people it might be content that could end their lives or careers, those who earns from this kind of thing, the scary kind of people.'' Hikawa got a bit off the road for a moment there and just shrugged with a smile to Rin. ''I might be just worried over nothing, you're a Hero Student so you should know the right thing to do~''
And then it got to the snack business.
She felt a somewhat small social pressure being added to her body, she wasn't the kind to just go up and about for more than chitchats, but Miss Kurama must've mistaken her invitation as a fully fleshed hang out. In truth, Hikawa simply just wanted a mere candy bar from a vending machine or something, so when seeing Rin being so formal and positive it made Hikawa feel embarrassed due to her less delicate wish. Scratching the side of her cheek she didn't know how to respond without looking like a fool, and there was take aways nearby? It sounds good on paper, but she also had a strict agenda to follow, the tour was splendid however and she thinks that she'd need to repay it somehow. ''She's awfully polite and so well mannered, honest with her words but also not letting her own thoughts bring her potential down, perhaps I should treat her more.''
''You can be quite persuasive Miss Kurama, never did I think a Hospital could have low quality consumables, although I dont have a big stomach for a burger, then maybe..'' She pondered about for a moment, tapping her chin with her left eye scanning the roof while thinking. After a solid 5 seconds of silence she nodded to the raven haired girl with a genuine smile. ''Is there a dessert place somewhere? I think maybe a Crepe with a few strawberries would do the trick, but better be quick about it! So lead the way Miss Kurama~'' She spoke with now a bit more excited tone in her voice, yes she might be an adult with an even more adult heavy job, but she had a playful side, maybe getting her office ready can be done a little bit later. Afterall, it's not everyday she finds someone as similar as her, Hikawa once was a clumsy girl who barely knew how to properly cut bread, she believes Rin Kurama is stapled to the rough path without regret, something even she could admire. ''Rin Kurama, truly you are special, but you've barely bloomed to show the essence of your potential, the real side of you. Maaaybe I will get a tiny bit biased when reading my resumes~''
