<Slick Slime> Upgrading From: Effect: Slick Slime is a quirk that is a direct result of the sodium within Saiko's body. It causes the hair to produce an oil that is that is comparable in nature to other slick oils such as petroleum. This oil can't be directly controlled, though Saiko's hair will continually secrete this oil it as long as there is still traces of sodium found within in the body. The amount and speed at which it is produced ranges based on the amount of sodium ingested, and the body will continue to create more of the oil even if her sodium intake is at zero. Because of this, Saiko has to constantly fuel her consumption of sodium to counterbalance the loss of it in her body, creating an endless cycle of depleting and refueling. Constant eating of sodium laced foods or just straight table salt is not uncommon for the quirker just so she can stay alive. Being that the oil is constantly being produced, it runs off the hair and will create a steady and oozing flow around the user, leaving both the user covered and puddles wherever used. This makes it difficult for the user to be pinned down, and the environment hard to navigate. Objects and weapons become difficult to wield also, due to the slippery oil. In addition, depending on the dosage of sodium consumed, the oil can verge from simply being slick to a slime comparable to an hagfishes'. The oil can be hardened using salt, forming a sticky bond that is as strong as stone of the same thickness. Once the oil has exposed to open air, it will start to lose its potency, becoming less slick and the tethering less potent within two-three post. It will take an equivalent amount of time for the body to create a fresh coat if Saiko wishes to use her quirk for combat, utility or movement. (Using it for two post will put it on a two post 'cooldown', three post for three post, ect.) Years of practice and honing her quirk from her vigilante father's tutoring has allowed her to properly utilize her quirk for movement and speed, using the slick aspect of her quick to allow her to almost glide around most situations. This could be compared to a roller-blader, enhancing her agility and nimbleness while also allowing potential movements that wouldn't be possible normally. (Such as skidding quickly around corners or sliding against a wall for a short distance, ignoring most friction.) Cold temperatures and illness tend to slow down the bodies production, though not to the point of halting it completely. As with all oils, it has no freezing point. It is also not flammable and while the body is asleep or unconscious, it will not produce further oil. (Using it for two post will put it on a two post 'cooldown', three post for three post, ect.) Years of practice and honing her quirk from her vigilante father's tutoring has allowed her to properly utilize her quirk for mobility and speed, using the slick aspect of her quick to allow her to almost glide around most situations. This could be compared to an inline skater, enhancing her agility and nimbleness while also allowing potential movements that wouldn't be possible normally. Drawback: Because of the erratic nature of the quirk, it can potentially create hazardous situations for allies not properly prepared. Also, because the oil can't be directly controlled, it requires the user to be in nearly direct contact with the foe or problem. While Saiko can fling the oil in a direction, it would only go as far as oil normally would go if one attempted to swat a comparable substance at an area. (Which isn't especially far and wouldn't be a large amount) Water doesn't directly stop the oil, but it can wash away the large amount and spread it thin, lessening the potency. Warm water specifically will start to break down the chemicals, weakening the strength. Being that sodium is the main catalyst for all aspects of this quirk, her health comes to concern with the amount being relied on, and if Saiko wishes to tone back the amount of oil being produced, she has to actively seek to not eating as much sodium, which she can't afford because of the constant draining of it within her body. The same binding benefit of the quirk can be used against her if Saiko's opponent utilizes sodium against her, as regardless of it being on or off her body, it still reacts to coming in contact with salt. |

Tech Savvy Upgrading From: Rank: F Effect: Years of being a loner has caused Saiko to seek other outlets for entertainment that don't rely on social interaction. Technology was what she gravitated towards, and is now rather skilled in most departments when it comes to using electronics. (Approximately to the level of a IT Undergrad) Video games especially, are where Saiko hits her highest levels of skill. Games with heavy reliance on reflexes, memory and judgement tend to be what she is best at, such as fighting/shooter/real time strategy. She also has programming and hacking experience. Saiko isn't good with the actual constructing and building of electronic devices though, just using them. Taekwondo Upgrading From: In the years of Saiko's father teaching her how to better control and utilize her quirk to her advantage, he helped teach her the fighting style of Taekwondo. The style was specifically selected to free up her hands and arms, which would be more important for her quirk then her legs, which would utilize the ability far less. Though Saiko tries to focus more on evasive techniques or weaving in and out of combat because of her quirk, mobility isn't always an option. This is where the style shows most and Saiko can choose to go on the offense, allowing her strong focus to shine.
