Bang bang, bang bang. Four more bullets were shot his way as Arthur made his way to Ericka. Two found his blades, but the other two landed on his temple and shoulder. The impact was dizzying, but Arthur was a strong man encased in strong armor, and they did not deter his charge; they did give the blonde gunslinger enough time to duck under his cross-slash, however, but that he anticipated, for immediately after the attack a vicious kick followed, aiming to drive the point of his greave into the girl’s stomach. Would have followed, anyway, for as he cocked back his foot, Lani’s attack hit his other foot. The well-timed attack threw the knight off-balance and he fell on his side. For a second there was an opening for one of them to rush through, but it only lasted a second; as soon as he registered he was falling down, Arthur pushed himself to roll in the direction of the building and quickly stood back up. Whichever of the two didn’t run through the opening would find themselves facing an imposing knight in bone armor, or the both of them would should they chose not to regroup with the rest of their team. “That was some fine teamwork”, he claimed. “Well-fought.” His smile was hidden by his helmet. “But I fullfilled my duty. And from what I hear in my earpiece, I’m sorry, but i believe this is gonna be our win.” He brought up his swords. “But a fight is never over until it’s over now, isn’t it?” --- As for Lucas, he found himself a worthy opponent for the first time in a long while. Given his flowery language, one might be excused for thinking otherwise, but Lucas was really enjoying his fight against an opponent his size for once. He didn’t have to hold back in fear of crushing them under his weight, he could go all-out and bite and swing and whip to his heart’s content. He anticipated the dragon flying over his headlong rush, of course, so when he reached the wall he kicked it for another mid-air tail whip as he had planned. However, the dragon had seen through this as well by now. As a winged being, he was naturally more agile; and while their strength and toughness matched each other, it gave the dragon the second he needed to reposition himself out of the way of the tail whip and into a diving attack on Lucas’ back. The claws rendered his thick hide painfully, and to add injury to injury, he ate a volley of feathers as well. Feathers… Did Julia lose? --- She didn’t, if the devlish smirk now adorning her face could be believed as she replied to the angel’s plead to stand and fight. “Yes, I’m sure if you ask politely the villains will let you hit them.” The angel girl sure was pesky. She focused on defense entirely and somehow managed to smack away most of Julia’s blows, but everything came at a cost in fighting. If one was to erect an impenetrable defense against an equally-matched opponent, it would come at a cost. In this case, it allowed Julia to quickly scan the field in-between punches and stay aware of the tactical situation, so the second Angel disengaged she sprang into action once again. She wanted to switch targets? Can do, but it’s not gonna be the ones you want, pinky! The latest feather attack helped her cock the spring in her legs to the maxiumum, and so as soon as the angel switched targets, she dashed for the battlefield as well, although she kept her own route low to the ground, sprinting with great spring-enhanced leaps along the left-hand side of the asphalt road. When Julia focused on being fast, everything kind of blurred yet was clearer at the same time. She saw the dragon charging at her, but the beast was slow and cumbersome and soon out of juice, as he transformed back -- not without gruesomely breaking his own horn to use as a sword first. Yet without his flight, the boy was ill-prepared to stop her, his cocky little speech nonwithstanding. She flung a way words his way as she passed him without deigning to give him a look, her eyes still focused on her target as she side-stepped away from the thrown sword and simply went around him. “Sorry, boy. I don’t have time to play right now. Greg!” --- Julia’s voice came from the left, not too far from his position, and it was getting closer. Just like with Melissa, it was all the information Gregory needed to understand what her plan was. The Valiant Institute held cooperation and flexibility in the highest regard within their teachings; heroes needed to be able to work as an unit on the fly, leaving no time for prior planning and organization, and Gregory and Julia were the two most adept at it in the entire school. So when Hye-Rin slammed him and attempted to judo-throw him into Melissa’s tar, he opposed no resistance, allowing him to keep his balance and leap out of the way of the sticky substance. He shouted his first words since the beginning of the match: “Melissa! Wall!” --- It was then that Julia’s plan was executed. She leaped one final time to find herself down the road leading to their base. At the same time, she threw her springy hand Hye’s way, grabbed her outstretched hand and pulled, just as Greg called for the wall. Melissa nodded and redirected her stream of tar down the whole length of the road, cutting it in two with a strip of tar, easy to jump or fly over-- until it was ignited with Gregory’s cold fire. Tar was a flammable substance, and despite his fire burning cold, it burned well on it, dressing a wall of slivery flames between him, Hye-Rin, Julia on one side and the rest of the arena on the other side. “Think you can look us down so easy, miss ‘ruler of the skies’?!” squeaked a little voice down below. It was Melissa, with a couple of feathers planted in her right arm, doing her best to keep the pained expression out of her face -- she had no time to dodge if she wanted to erect the wall. She raised her arms and kept shooting more of the black liquid at the angel, in concert with a barrage of cold fireballs from Gregory behind the wall, aimed to keep her from flying over and going to rescue Hye. When the fireballs impacted the tar shots, they exploded together in a blast of cold flame, much like a WW2 flak cannon. He also took the time to whisper a quick sitrep to Arthur in his earpiece. Julia wasn’t looking much better, in fact she looked worse, what with the bullets and the feathers she ate herself, despite having managed to drag Hye here, within a stone’s throw of their cage. “Now miss flowers, will you kindly head for your cell or do I have to force you there?” she said, raising her fists. She was hurt, yes, but the fight wasn’t gone in her just yet. Finally, heavy steps would make themselves heard behind Jack’s. “Nah mate, its checkmate now, ya wee cunt!” A tail whip followed. --- On paper, Valiant were looking pretty right now, with one member of UA all but captured thanks to her overextension. However, save for Gregory, they had all sustained quite an amount of injuries, and Arthur was himself dangerously close to the UA cages. Perhaps UA High were still in this? (ooc: click to reveal map-chan prntscr.com/n8ikuz i forgot the old colors so: red square is jack, red dot is lucas, black square is angel, black dot is Julia, pink square is hye, grey dot is gregory, grey line is the wall of fire, yellow dot is Melissa and blue dot is Arthur -arthur gets knocked down by Lani’s attack as he’s kicking Ericka, quickly gets back up to block the way to the rest of his team but there’s definitely an opening for one of them to slip by while he’s down -lucas gets rekt -julia dashes along the indicated path, completely ignores jack (sorry jack) -as she Blitzcrank grabs Hye with her spring arm to pull her towards the cages, gregory and melissa erect a wall of fire with a combo move and then start pelting Angel with fire and tar to keep her away from Rin, anti-air defense style bby -Melissa and Lucas take damage from the feathers tho -Lucas engages Jack, Julia engages Hye)

Ericka was surprised that her attacks worked out the way that they did. She did force him to block high, which gave her the time she needed to duck downward. She still expected to to be hit by his attack but tried to lessen the damage from it. However, it seemed that he chose to forgo that whole thing and opt for a follow up instead. Ericka didn't expect that at all, but she had what Arthur didn't at the moment, a teammate. Arthur was clearly better than both of them individually. If it was a one on one fight with either Ericka or Lani, they both would have been overpowered quite easily. However, Together they had staved the boy off and prevented him from taking any one of them out. And if Arthur could overpower them, she could only really worry about what kind of havoc he would have caused on the rest of her team. But together, Lani and Ericka had moved Arthur into a comprising position and it was time to put the plan into action. The only thing Ericka wished was that her teammates had falling back when they saw they were outnumbered.
But with Arthur on their tail, neither one of them could really support without the other people in massive danger. So when Lani knocked Arthur off balanced, Ericka took the time to get up and grab Arthur. The boy was obviously stronger than her. But as with everything else in dealing with the boy, together they Lani they could restrain him. And with him in a compromising position, this was the best chance they would have of capturing someone on the other side. So when he spoke, it seemed they were likely heading for a draw. One of their teammates was in danger of being captured, but what could Ericka do? Leaving Lani here alone with Arthur would be bad. So they had to capture him her. She just hoped that Lani saw this fact and came to help before Arthur was able to shake her off. But if all of that worked out, Ericka would do her best to stay latched on to Arthur and attempt to drag him back to the cages on UA's side. it was pretty much a long shot, but with help maybe it would work out. All Ericka knew was that they had to keep the score even to prevent it from being a complete loss for her school.

| H ow were the English students able to pull themselves together and able to silently work together so effectively!? Angel found it completely infuriating and yet impressive at the same time. Angel found herself being cut short on her approach toward Hye as tar girl put up a wall of tar as well as caked the ground with it which was quickly caught on fire by another member of their team named Greg she thought his name was? The two's team work wasn't done yet however as they began to work together by combining their quirks to launch flaming tar balls at her to keep her from getting close. Angel did her absolute best to dodge them by weaving in between them to try and get passed the large wall, but with every passing fireball she felt her skin begin to burn and ache and her feathers begin to burn away as first degree burns began to set in causing Angel to grit her teeth and grunt. She had to act fast. "Hye! Try and find somewhere to hide! Spring girl's quirk is more suited for long range! Keep her in a cramped space and hide things out! I can't get to you,but the game is almost over! I'm gonna go help the others!"Hoping that her team mate could hear her instructions and advice Angel quickly shot a glare down at the tar girl before turning her back to the tar wall and using what speed she had left in her to fly back toward the starting point where she had left Lani and Ericka to handle Sir Valiant. Angel hoped that she wasn't to late to help them and that maybe three on one would be enough to force the man down and into the cage to score them a point. As Angel got closer she spotted Ericka grab hold of what looked to be a stunned arthur with Lani close behind. Angel knew how to help! The young winged girl honestly feeling exhausted put two fingers in her mouth and let out a loud whistle to get the two girls attention. "Get his back facing me! I can help knock him down! Better use his big boney body as cover though!"Once angel gave her warning Angel quickly twisted her body in a spiral formation while wrapping her wings around her like a cone to resemble a pink drill to cause herself to spiral down toward the group as a way to get closer to them faster. It was a new tactic she had picked up to cut down on wind resistance by watching Jasmine Noir. As she got closer she opened her wings back up and caught the air with them before launching 10 hard feathers from each wing in a diagonal flanking formation like a barrage of arrows from a tower down toward Arthur hoping to damage his back through his bone armor and take him down for the count and make him easy to drag. "Angelic Art: Heavenly rain!"Things Angel did. 1-took grazing burning damage to her arms and wings thank to the flaming tar. 2-gave Hye the advice to try and hide in an enclosed space to make things more difficult for Julia. 3-flew off to help lani and ericka beat arthur. 4-premired a brand new named moved called "Angelic Art:Heavenly rain!" where she launched 20 feathers in a diagonal flanking formation like a barrage of arrows coming from two towers to box her foe in. |

Well that could have gone better. While the overall switch off went off without a hitch, Julia apparently had other plans. Without his Quirk in action, there wasn’t really too much he could do to stop her as she lept over him, heading towards Hye-Rin once more. Jack cursed in annoyance. He tried to force himself to transform again, but the effort hurt way too much. He needed only a few minutes, that’s all...at most 10. Even so, there was still a big problem that still needed to be dealt with. The freakin’ T-Rex, of course. Lucas came charging at him, firing back his own taunt about him saying ‘checkmate’ before. In those few seconds, Jack mentally scolded himself and frankly wanted to smack Angel a bit for unintentionally put him in this spot. In his current state, he stood no chance fighting one on one with the giant monster, who was aiming a tail swipe at him. However, in the split moment, Jack had already come up with a plan. And he couldn’t really help but grin. Hopefully, with how injured Lucas was at this point, the strike wouldn’t hurt as much as it would before, but it still hit true. His tail smacked Jack in the side, sending him flying a few meters. However, honestly forgetting about the horn idea at this point, Jack would try to land on his feet and would probably skid a couple of feet backwards in the process. He clutched his side a bit, wincing at how sore it was now. ”Ok, that’s gonna leave a mark of a couple of days. Nice sneak attack there, dude.” he said casually, not even registering his insult. Instead of getting into a battle pose or anything of the sort, Jack would simply stick his hands in his pockets, kicking some rubble aimlessly. He appeared surprisingly casual, and though his body was already prepared to dodge whatever strike the T-Rex had in store for him. He noted that he too knew some martial arts, though, obviously, mainly involved his legs. Even so, that still left his head, though he doubted the T-Rex hero-in-training would try biting him too hard in Jack’s current state. They both could only go all out when Jack was transformed, and they both knew that. If he could just stay on the defensive for just a little bit, he could just barely have enough time to transform and regain the upper hand. However, that also meant he had to play his cards right. He started to back away, acting like he was trying to make a quick escape, but he was walking in the direction of the cage. In hopes that he wouldn’t realize his plan, Jack would actually do something that he was sure the crowds would get a laugh out of. He suddenly started humming a simple song, doing a bit of a tap dance, acting like he had no cares in the world. ”Care to dance for a little bit, pardner? Pass the time with me, c’mon!” he exclaimed, laying on the Texan accent thickly, and did a little twirl as he did a ‘come on’ motion with his hand. Alright...just a few minutes. Lets see if he could last that long. -Welp. That failed miserably. Gdi Angel. -Already was starting to come up with a plan as Lucas tail smacked him. -Complimented him on his sneak attack, actually being genuine. -Debating that Lucas probably wouldn’t go too far, considering that he can only go all out without killing him in his dragon form. -Started to do a little dance, attempting to taunt the T-Rex whilst also leading him towards U.A.’s cage. -Offered for him to join him as he did so, hoping that his taunt would distract him from Jack’s true motives.

Her plan to toss the white-haired teen back into his teammate work, but not as she intended. Easily sidestepping it, the girl was significantly more eager to thrust her hand into the air for Angel to save her. However, just like her first plan didn't fall quite right into the cracks, this one did just the same. A hand, seemingly from no where as she looked up to the skies for her savior, found it's way around her wrist and held tightly. The Korean's eyes darted down to find the source- a beautifully tanned girl with hair that reminded her much of a close friend's.
Just as soon as her eyes landed on the girl, Hye-Rin was displaced immediately and sent hurtling towards her. It was a relatively short distance, though still a disorientating way to be sucked into another area of the arena. Though she tried to resist it, the soles of her shoes helplessly sliding against the pavement, it was already much too late for it. With a command towards her team, the spring-locked girl and the others were able to erect a wall in between the Korean and her team.
A short gasp would leave her lips as she looked from the fiery wall to her assailant, shock washing over her soft features as the realization hits her. They singled her out. Knowing that she was the weakest link in comparison to the heroics students, they snatched the budding flower from her planter and left her out to wither. Though the girl released her grip on Hye-Rin and Angel called out from the skies above to give the Korean a solid plan of attack, she'd never felt more alone in an arena filled with hundreds watching her.
Bitterly, Hye-Rin would shake her head at the cocky words that followed through the silvery-haired teen. Her lips parted, fluent English flowing out with a tone unlike her own,"I'm not going anywhere with you." Switch flipped, battle start!
The girl reminded him of a dear friend- Yamada Saito. She had that same smirk he had, paired with sparkling blue eyes and silvery hair. Was he watching her now? Would he be worried or proud? It was all question she'd have to leave for another time as Angel's plan echoed in her head. Sure, long-range might be her opponents specialty, but that just meant that she'd accidentally crossed the line into the wrong territory.
It was Hye-Rin that was weak at long-range. And, in forcing her into a fight, it was this genderbent Saito that had made the mistake.
Taking a single step back from her opponent, the Korean would bring a swift knee towards the teenager's rib cage. Her Quirk may not have been designed for fighting, but she had come prepared for a fight. And, as the two faced off behind a flaming wall of tar, it only threw gas upon the fire blazing in her heart.

these rapid eyes will keep on moving Thankfully, Lani was able to cover Ericka better than she expected. She expected her class president to get hurt in some way. Arthur was dead set on chasing her and eventually, he would land something really solid. Without Lani's help, the girl would have been in real trouble. Even more so now that Lani's time on her sword was done with after firing off that Angel Fang. The light that made her sword dissipated as her quirk deactivated and she had to now go a while without using it. She was able to pull out some nice stuff, but the best she could do now was some support rather than an extended sword battle. What surprised her was how long Arthur was able to keep up his armor and weapons. It was pretty clear that his quirk outmatched Lani's and it was just a sign that she needed to get stronger. For now, however, she had to lend her best support to her teammate that was in trouble.
There was a chance for the situation to turn around and Lani was going to grasp it. Either way, one thing was for sure, Lani had to keep Arthur just as busy as Ericka was. He didn't seem to do too well fighting more than one person at once, so Lani had to keep that up to neither of them got overwhelmed. And with him knocked off balance, Lani wanted to follow Ericka's lead and hold the boy down. Alone, neither one of them could do it, but together they had the chance. It was that joint effort that was going to save them from a loss. After all, Arthur himself was going to reveal the news that one of their teammates were about to be captured.. Where the others still so far overextended that they were in danger? The idea that they wouldn't retreat in such a situation was hard to understand, but There wasn't much Lani could do not. it was much like the Kunshu Festival when she had to focus on the villain behind it all and had to leave the burning tent to the others that were there. It worked out in the end, but Lani felt like she should be doing more as well. What a conundrum.
As Ericka grabbed Arthur, Lani grabbed for this other side. Hopefully, with the blonde latching on to him, while he was off balanced and Lani doing the same a moment later, they could do so without much trouble. She had to work with Ericka in order to keep the guy under control or he would slip out of both of their grasps. Her eyes glanced in the direction of the others, still obscured mostly by the building that was between them. This was going to be a difficult match to pull of, but Lani was going to try her best no matter what. She had to trust that the others would do the same and Lani had to play her part properly. So if she had a firm grasp on the boy, she would attempt to take him back to the cages with Ericka's help. This, of course, was aided with the surprise help of Angel. Seeing the girl in the air, Lani couldn't help but smile as she did one of the things Lani loved to see the most of her school mates, a special move! With a wide smile on her face, she turned, motioning Ericka to do the same and made it o that Arthur would cover most of where the attack from Angel would hit. Arthur was a big guy with his armor up, but Lani and Ericka wouldn't be able to completely cover themselves with him. But with her barrage, hopefully, they could snag a member of their own. 634 | @tagged | notes ulla

And so they were going to face off. Both girls stayed silent; neither of them had run through the opening. Arthur readjusted his stance, facing off both girls with his swords extended… And they decided to run at him. Spying a flash of pink above the building separating them from the other group, he quickly understood why.
If at first both girls pushed against him, as if they were trying to push him into their cage with sheer strength, they quickly turned around to enact their real plan, which was to keep them in place as that flying girl prepared to unleash an attack on his back. With only an instant to decide on a plan of action, Arthur didn’t hesitate; he was going to trust in his teammates.
He let himself get moved by the two girls’ wrestling, not resisting against their attempt to turn him around. It cost him of course to have to endure Angel’s attack; a barrage of ten feathers, hard as stone, shooting in his back like a repeating rifle. His armor cracked and fissured, but the strong bone held and the stronger back under endured the repeated blows. Arthur’s armor was now in much poorer shape than at the beginning of the fight, with parts broken off and other withering, the bone turning a dead dry white as he heaved and puff under the armor. Clearly, he was reaching his limits; but even clearer he made the fact that he wouldn’t go down without a fight.
In exchange for letting Lani and Ericka hold him in place for the barrage of feathers, he secured a strong grip on both of them, going over the back and grabbing their waists, and using the momentum of the reversal, he threw himself on his back and in the same movement threw the girls over his head, back towards the building.
Blasts of silvery fire awaited them.
---
On the other side of the arena, Lani’s departure from the field of battle didn’t escape the Valiant anti-air unit, Melissa and Gregory. One didn’t tend to miss it when the target of their sustained flak barrage escaped, so the silver-haired teen quickly scanned the field of battle around him. No signs of any trouble behind the wall of fire; Lucas was fighting the dragon transformation guy, who was currently reverted into human form.
“Melissa, go help out Lucas again. I’m going to cover Arthur. You guys have a numerical advantage again, try to grab another point. Go!” he instructed his classmate with authority. “Aye aye, fire nerd. Don’t get yourself captured.”
And just like that, they broke off again. Gregory ran into the building at pace; he was a pretty good runner, as he discovered in training, quick on his feet and endurant. It didn’t take him long to cross the empty warehouse and spy Arthur in the distance wrestling with two girls from the enemy team and tanking a feather attack, probably from the flying one, before throwing the two girls he was wresting over his head, which meant in Gregory’s direction. The kid couldn’t help but have a quick smile as he raised his hands, cold silver fireballs growing in his palms ; Arthur must have known someone would be chasing after Angel. He released both fireballs, one for Lani, one for Ericka.
Quick coordination, fluid exchanges of position and a capacity to selflessly work for the benefit of the team, leaving your own pride aside; those abilities weren’t god-given gifts, they were the result of long and grueling hours of training with the SAS -- Britain’s special forces -- and the police in hostage situations, as well as, amusingly enough for the English school, mandatory participation in Valiant’s football club for all students. It was there that they learned to cover for each other and work together towards a common goal. The way the Valiant team laid off their opponents to each other was like professional footballers laying the ball off to each other, and they dogged determination in covering the entire field of battle was like a tenacious, pressing defense. It was Valiant’s greatest strength: their incredible teamwork.
---
Teamwork sometimes meant you had to be on your own, however, as was Julia’s case, facing off against Hye-Rin. Contrary to her, the flower girl was still in relatively good shape, whereas she had taken her fair share of bullet bruises and feather slashes herself; but deep inside miss Dawson’s ocean blue eyes burned the same determination that had been burning all along. Back home, her brothers were watching. Right now, they were probably screaming at the TV, screaming for her to kick that asian girl’s ass back inside her cage. She raised her fists into a kickboxing guard, ready for action. “Don’t listen to what that girl says,” she snapped, shifting her weight to the ball of her feet, starting to circle around her opponent with bouncy steps. “I’m a good pugilist as well.”
And with that quick exchange of words, Hye-Rin opened the hostilities with a knee to the midsection. At another time, she would have been able to back step-it without a problem, but hurt and tired as she was, she had to throw up a hasty block and take the hit. She only back-stepped a second later… And then her left hand flew in a long stretched-out jab. “Though nobody says I gotta get close.” Stepping to the side, Julia started circling Hye at speed with her bouncing steps and throwing quick, whip-like jabs on the rebound with her outstretched arms, keeping Hye at a careful distance as she peppered her. That she trained with a martial artist was undeniable; that she trained as a martial artist was up for debate, however. She had the moves and her read wasn’t half-bad, but her body lacked the speed, the strength, the endurance to really carry herself well in a fight. Julia hoped to tire her out with her barrage before going for a final throw in the cages.
---
Last but not least, Jack chose the interesting strategy of doing nothing and acting careless. Lucas frowned and simply stepped on his path as an answer, between him and Hye, blocking the path to the girl even further. “Hey, dumbass. Remember where yer are? Ya ain’t got time to fuck around, ya wee cunt. Turn back into a dragon already.” After enough training exercises with the bloody SAS, even a lunkhead like him eventually understood that when someone was fucking around, they were preparing a last-ditch move. In answer to Jack’s little invitation to dance, Lucas simply squared up, barred his teeth, roared as loud as he could and swung around for another tail whip, knowing Jack would probably just jump over it, but hearing was Melissa was screaming in his earpiece.
“Make him jump!” was what the girl screamed as she trotted her way to where Jack was after feeding the fire with a fresh splash of tar. Once in range, and on cue with Luca’s sweep, she would shoot more of the sticky black substance wherever he tried to dodge. Hers was not an impressive quirk; in fact, it was the kind of quirk others often criticized for its lack of destructive power, until she found her way into Valiant. There, its applications as a versatile support quirk were quickly noticed, and within the school’s teamwork-oriented courses, Melissa flourished as a playmaker, setting up her teammates for their own attacks with her crowd-control abilities. And on this stage, she was going to show the world just how good it was at capturing villains; her beady brown eyes looked at Jack less like a human being and more like prey.

(ooc: we decided to end this (yeah i know about time) so this is only a quick outro)
The fighting was rough and long, and at the end of the day, none of the two teams prevailed, or perhaps they both did.
Thanks to their refined tactics and well-organized cooperation, the Valiant Institute managed to secure an advantage in terms of favorable engagements; they did not hesitate to cut the UA students off from each other, double-team targets and sometimes use dirty tricks, as noble as they presented themselves to be. This proved useful to secure the capture of Hye-Rin, thanks to an organized and pre-planned wall of flames tactic.
However, they lacked a strong presence outside of Arthur, which the more balanced UA team exploited by pairing their best elements against the knight in bony armor. Lani and Ericka showed some great cooperation of their own too, and they managed to subdue the knight eventually after a long battle, even as Valiant retreated their forces back to help their leader. Of course, they had their teammates to thank; Jack and Angel held strong against their opponent, and despite her capture Hye-Rin showed a courageous attitude as a frontline healer. Despite being outnumbered, they held strong and fought the more organized team to a draw -- and if things had gone differently, might have snatched a victory too.
The public cheered for both teams when the draw was announced. Back in the locker room, the UA team received a visit from the principal, in person this time. “Congratulations to all of you,” began the stern man in his eternal suit and tie. “That was a well-fought match. Most of you haven’t been at this school a long time, but you already display a lot of progress. This might be a draw according to the rules, but you guys managed to capture their best student. Of course, there’s plenty to criticize as well, but we’ll see about that in the next heroics class. For now, enjoy a well-deserved rest, be proud of yourselves, and keep on improving and becoming the best hero you can be. That will be all. Good afternoon, all of you.”
And so the match between Yuuei High and the Valiant Institute ended: with a draw.
