It was the day of the festival, and Sean could not be more excited! He could not imagine anyone who wouldn't be stoked for the start of the sports festival. There were plenty of things to look forward to. Obstacle courses, battle tournaments, and even some very interesting guests. Students from various other schools around the world were coming to visit, and Sean was eager to greet them all. He wondered how their schools differed from Yuuei, what they had in common. Perhaps he would make a new friend while he was here? Or maybe he would run into an old one instead?
Walking down the main alley, Sean began to wonder where he should go. There was so much to do, and also so much to see. The blue-haired boy just did not know what to do first! With so many possibilities, it was tough to make a decision on what to do.
As Sean continued to walk, the boy became thirsty. He needed a drink! Fortunately, he always carried around a water bottle or three in his bag. It was annoying to keep them all in there with his other things, but he had nowhere else to put the water bottles, and there was no way the water manipulator would ever leave without them. Taking out one of the bottles, Sean removed the bottle cap and began chugging. Ah, how refreshing!
The moment Sean had moved the bottle away from his lips, he noticed a familiar face from afar. The boy began to smile upon seeing who it was. She was very recognizable, being a very distinguishable and unique mutant. He began to make his way towards her. Unlike last time, Sean would not be caught by surprise. More importantly, he would be able to talk with his friend without worrying about the school bell cutting their meeting short.
"Chiyoko, hi! How's it going?"

Snake's special sea support
@seanmizushima
Chiyoko had been a busy girl. The support student had spent the last few workshop classes hard at work on her first ever creation for use by a hero course student. As it turned out, that very hero course student had found her before she could find him. Her face lit up at the sight of him approaching in his usual bright and cheery manner.
“Sean!” she exclaimed. “You’re just the person I was looking for. Check this out!” She held her creation out for him to see. It was a utility belt made from hard plastic-like material the same shade of blue as Sean’s hair. It had four built-in pockets capable of holding four average-sized supermarket water bottles.
“Here you go: it’s the belt I promised you. Like I said, it can hold water bottles for you to use as ammo for your Quirk. I know I said before it’d take me some time to make but I decided to give it a go anyway. I used my tech skills to 3D print it! I know it’s not super flashy or anything and it can’t play theme music for you ‘cause I wanted it to do that but couldn’t figure out how, but it’s a start, right?” She smiled, but nerves stirred within her. Would he like it? Please let him like it!

Sean smiled upon seeing his friend. Not only did they both enjoy playing Capsule Creatures, but she was nice enough to offer to make the boy an awesome utility belt that would allow him to carry more water for his quirk than he could manage on his own. Sean just could not stop thinking about it. It was gonna be awesome, especially with a new hero costume that Sean wanted to get one day.
Sean's expression was one of intrigue, curiosity, and excitement when Chiyoko told him that she was looking for him. "Oh?" She then showed him something that would blow the boy's mind all the way into the stratosphere.
"Ho...ly... crap...."
His mouth dropped open. The sheer shock was written all over the boy's face. For a few seconds, there was nothing but silence from Sean. He just stared at the utility belt, struck with pure awe. It was so beautiful, truly a thing of art! To say that he liked it was a massive understatement. After Chiyoko finished speaking, Sean slowly and very carefully held the belt in his hands as though it were a baby, as though it were his own newborn daughter.
And then the silence was broken, washed away with an overwhelming feeling of excitement, glee, and happiness. It was like that time Sean had opened a rather large present for Christmas as a kid and he got a Ninetendo 69 from his mom. Chiyoko could clearly see how Sean's face lit up in happiness as the boy smiled radiantly. It was as though the boy had won the lottery, surfed the biggest wave in history, and fell in love, all at the same time.
"OH MY GOD! CHIYOKO, I LOVE IT SO MUCH! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!"
Ignoring how loud he was talking, and ignoring any possible looks from people startled by his sudden outburst, Sean suddenly wrapped his arms around Chiyoko in a firm and tight (but not too tight) hug. She was his new best friend now. With how happy he was, Sean probably would easily have wanted to kiss her on the spot. Now there was no way in hell that a deed this wonderful could go without a reward of some kind. There had to be a way to repay the girl for making something this wonderful and glorious. Money, favors, time spent hanging out, whatever. If Chiyoko wanted anything from Sean, it was hers.
After a not too long while, Sean finally let go of Chiyoko. Beaming, the boy began to put the utility belt on. Naturally, it was a perfect fit. Not too tight, and not too loose. It was just right!
"You're the best, Chiyoko! I'm never taking this belt off. It's so amazing! And so are you! Thank you so much again!"

Snake's special sea support
@seanmizushima
Now, Chiyoko had never made anything for a hero student before. Until she came to UA her inventions had been all for her own amusement and to impress her best friend and mentor, the late great Professor Hashimoto. She had no way of guessing how Sean would feel about the belt.
As a result she looked off the side the second she gave him it, not wanting to see the reaction on his face in case it was a bad one. It really could have been fancier, she knew; she could have engraved some cool wave patterns on it and maybe she should have thought to ask if he had an emblem for himself in mind. Perhaps she should have waited until her tech skills improved as she had originally intended to do, but –
Sean’s sudden outburst of happiness severed her line of thought and left her staring at him with wide, blinking eyes. “You – you really like it?”
He really likes it!
She was so stunned by this revelation she was left completely open to his hug, not that anything could have stopped such a powerful hug anyway. This stunned feeling gave way to delight equal to Sean’s own, which filled every nook and cranny of her being. She threw her own arms around him and cheerfully hugged him back, not giving a single damn what this might have looked like to the people around them and the rumours that were probably inevitably going to start.
“I’m so glad you like it!” she cried. “Are you gonna test it out? I heard there are combat drones around here somewhere. But, uh, only if you want to. You know.” Not that she was eager to see her invention in action or anything...

Looking at the belt that was securely fastened around his waist (while being completely oblivious to the few people still staring in the boy's direction from his earlier outburst of joy), Sean smiled. God, this belt was just wonderful! Equally as amazing as the girl who made it! It was simplistic in design, with nothing too fancy about it. In truth, that was just the way Sean liked it. There was no need to go all out and make it complicated and fancy for the sake of style and badassery. All that mattered was that it worked and was practical in application.
Speaking of, Sean was very eager to see the belt in action. Chiyoko seemed to have the same idea, asking him if he was going to test it out. "Of course! I don't want your awesome invention going to waste by not using it!" She then brought up the fact that there were combat drones somewhere. "That sounds perfect! Brilliant idea, Chiyoko!" Sean was about to go run off, but then quickly stopped himself for two reasons. Reason one was that he did not even know where said combat drones would be. Why go running around getting lost because he did not know where to head to? Although with Chiyoko being here with him, at least getting lost would not be a bad thing.
The second reason was that there were no bottles on the belt. Fortunately, the solution to that one was simple. Taking out the other two water bottles he had in his bag, Sean placed them in two of the empty pockets of the belt. He also placed the empty bottle he drank from earlier in the third pocket. "There we go! These fit in beautifully! Now I just need to get myself another bottle to put in the last pocket, and then it's complete!"
Sean wondered if there was a vending machine or something nearby to get that last water bottle from. However, that could wait. First, Sean wanted to find those drones Chiyoko mentioned. The sooner the boy could test out the awesome new belt, the better. "So Chiyoko, any idea where those combat drones are?"

Snake's Special Sea Support
@seanmizushima
Chiyoko was not the most combat-oriented person in the world: she was in Support Studies for a reason. As a result she did not have much of an idea where to find the drones herself. Not that it mattered to her. The drones could have been located in the jungles of South America and she would have happily hacked through in the name of seeing her brand new invention in action.
“I’m sure there’ll be signs or something,” she said, barely able to keep herself from twitching, she was so eager and excited. “Come on, let’s look!” And so off she ran whether Sean could keep up with her or not. Did she have any idea where she was going? Not particularly, but she figured the combat area would be the most popular, so she headed in the direction the most people were going.
For once the eccentric snake girl’s intuition paid off, as this brought her to an area full of fenced arenas the size and shape of volleyball courts, within which multiple airborne drones could be seen flitting about and facing off with students. Chiyoko ran towards an empty arena and looked back to Sean (if he was still there) with sparkling eyes. “Here you go!”
Even better, next to this arena’s fence was a vending machine. “Look, you can even stock up!”

As Chiyoko ran off in search of the battle drones, Sean ran as well, following the girl closely so as not to get separated. He had no doubt that Chiyoko would find the way there. So of course the boy was not surprised one bit when he followed Chiyoko to the combat area and noticed the drones in several fenced arenas. "Awesome work, Chiyoko! I knew you'd find it!" Sean was panting and slightly out of breath from all the running, but it was worth it.
Even better, Chiyoko pointed out a nearby vending machine. Score! Sean wasted no time buying two water bottles. Removing the empty water bottle from his belt and throwing it in the nearby recycling bin, Sean placed the two new water bottles on his belt. Now every pocket on the utility belt had a full bottle of water in it. Hooray!
While the boy was here, he got himself a third water bottle, this time to drink. After opening it and taking a few refreshing gulps, Sean turned to face Chiyoko. "Want anything? I'll buy it for you. It's the least I can do to thank you again for being awesome!" If Chiyoko accepted, Sean would get her anything she wanted from the vending machine, then pass it to her. Otherwise, it was time to head to one of the arenas and test this new belt out!
Entering the closest fenced arena, Sean was curious as to how this worked? Did he have to ask somebody for permission to use one? Was it fine to just find a drone and get started? Thankfully, his questions were answered before he even had to ask. A battle drone hovered towards Sean and Chiyoko, stopping just a few meters in front of them. Sean greeted the drone as though it were a person, with his usual smile and wave of his hand. "Hello there! I'm here for some training!"
It seemed odd and silly to actually talk to a drone as though it were an actual person. Of course, Sean would not find it weird or surprising at all. What he did find surprising was the fact that the drone began talking back in a loud booming voice. "OF COURSE YOU ARE, SONNY BOY. WHY ELSE WOULD YOU BE HERE?" Sean did not know whether the robotic voice was actually coming from the drone itself, or if there was someone else behind the scenes speaking for it via a microphone or something. Either way, the boy thought it was pretty awesome. "WHAT KIND OF TRAINING DO YOU WISH TO DO? MELEE? MID-RANGE? LONG-RANGE?"
This is way too cool, Sean thought. He was definitely going to be using these drones for training. After telling the drone that he wished to practice mid-range shooting, the drone rotated up and down as though it were nodding. "AFFIRMATIVE. TRAINING SESSION COMMENCING IN 15 SECONDS." This would be plenty of time for Chiyoko to walk towards the stands and safely watch from a distance. Unless she wanted to watch the action from up close, in which case Sean would be careful to have the drone focused on him so that no attacks would go her way. As the drone counted down out loud, Sean looked over to Chiyoko. "Alright! Time to test this baby out!"
Opening the caps of each water bottle, Sean activated his quirk, feeling that familiar cooling sensation spreading out throughout his body. The boy closed his eyes and concentrated, lifting all of the water from every bottle up into the air. He then shaped them into four watery spheres that began to orbit around him as though they were watery planets orbiting a blue-haired tanned Sun. The boy was ready to go just as the drone was wrapping up its countdown.
"THREE... TWO... ONE... READY? GO!" It was now time to start! Immediately, the drone began to fire red lasers from the holes on its sides. Sean wasted no time in getting two of the watery spheres to merge together and move in front to intercept the attack. Condensing and altering its shape, this watery mass transformed into a small and thin water wall. Thankfully, its small size and thinness would not be a problem. With a durability comparable to that of bronze, the weak lasers failed to penetrate the wall.
Now it was time to go on the offensive. With the remaining water spheres, Sean merged them together. This time, Sean chose to create a weapon with this water, creating a thin watery blade. The next couple of laser shots the drone fired were all sliced in half by Sean's water sword.
Sean grinned. He was having fun with this. He hoped that Chiyoko was having fun too. After all, none of this was worth it if the girl wasn't having a good time as well.

Snake's special sea support

“No, it’s okay,” Chiyoko said in response to Sean asking if she wanted anything from the vending machine. “You really don’t have to. I’m fine!”
Whether Sean insisted on buying her something or not, he eventually took the field ready to test out Chiyoko’s newest creation. Chiyoko stood by the fence and watched, shuffling and stamping her feet from the overflowing amount of electrifying excitement that coursed through every nook and cranny of her being.
“Go Sean go!” she called, pumping a fist. She might as well get some practice in for her future cheerleading exploits, right? (That was if she even remembered to show up...)
She cracked up a little upon discovering the drones could speak, very loudly and enthusiastically at that. They reminded her of Professor Hashimoto’s various odd creations, like the drones that used to serve him tea and spoke in a stereotypical British manner.
Being reminded of her mentor of course brought with it heavy waves of sadness and she felt something within her sink, her smile rapidly disappearing. Luckily, she was soon distracted from these negative feelings as Sean surged into action. Her eyes lit up like a couple of fireworks as she watched how easily her fellow student manipulated the water from the belt she had created.
“You’re doing it!” she cried as she clapped her hands with glee. “Keep going; you’ve got this!”

"Oh well. Offer is always open if you change your mind." Chiyoko did not want anything from the vending machine, and Sean was far too excited to go fight the battle drone and see the utility belt in action to press the matter any further.
While continuing to deflect the battle drone's lasers with his water sword, Sean smiled upon hearing Chiyoko's words of encouragement. "Thanks!" He then addressed the battle drone. "Yo, drone! Switch to melee, please!" The boy figured it was more interesting to switch things up, rather than just deflect and block lasers all day.
"UNDERSTOOD! SWITCHING TO MELEE MODE!" The holes on the sides of the drone began to expand. A mechanical arm began to extend out from each of the two holes. Both mechanical arms were fitted with red boxing gloves. Making a few punching motions, the drone faced Sean. "COMMENCING MELEE PRACTICE IN 15 SECONDS!"
Sean decided to take advantage of that small window of opportunity. Merging the masses of water that moments ago were a shield and sword, Sean grinned as he changed the mass of water into a different weapon.
"Torrential Trident!"
With watery trident in hand, Sean watched as the drone finished its countdown and began to approach the boy. The drone began to unleash a barrage of punches. Sean did not do too well of a job stopping the fists with his trident. Fortunately, the punches themselves did not really hurt, although the drone did take pleasure in rubbing it in Sean's face whenever he did get hit. "IS THAT THE BEST YOU CAN DO?" "IT IS ADVISED TO EITHER BLOCK OR DODGE THESE FISTS!" "YOU ARE SLOW IN MORE WAYS THAN ONE, KIDDO!" "IF YOU ARE TRYING TO GET HIT ON PURPOSE, THEN YOU'RE DOING A BRILLIANT JOB!" After the punching and sass, the drone stated that of the fifty punches it launched, forty of them had hit the boy. "FORTY PUNCHES! THAT'S THE SAME AS FOUR TENS! AND THAT'S TERRIBLE!"
Sean, however, was not discouraged. On the contrary, he smiled. "Just wanted to see your punches in action. Pretty nice if I do say so myself. Alright, it's my turn now!" With a battle cry, Sean began to wail on the battle drone with the water trident. The drone fought back with equal vigor, unleashing more and more punches. This time, Sean was not getting hit nearly as often, only failing to block five out of the fifty punches. However, the drone was not as successful when it came to avoiding Sean's trident, getting smacked with it more times than it could manage to block or avoid. "THERE YOU GO! YOU'RE DOING MUCH BETTER ALREADY!"
With a grin, Sean pointed the pointy end of the trident towards the drone. "All right, let's end this!" Pouring all of his concentration into the water trident, the boy once again changed the water's shape. This time, it became a small condensed sphere of water. Aiming the sphere at the drone, Sean shot it forward as quickly as possible, as though it were a cannonball.
"Oceanic Overdrive!"
As the compressed water sphere shot towards the drone, it tried to use its fist to punch the watery projectile away. However, this proved to be an error on its part. As soon as the drone's fist made contact, Sean concentrated and forced the compressed water sphere to quickly expand in a small watery explosion. The pressure from the burst was enough to put a noticeable dent on the drone's fist. Once all of the water fell to the ground, the drone withdrew its fists back into its body. It then spoke.
"GOOD JOB! A WINNER IS YOU! TRAINING SESSION COMPLETE! MUST NOW MAKE PREPARATIONS FOR REPAIRS. FAREWELL!"
As the drone began to hover away, Sean began to collect the water that had spilled. Lifting it all into the air, Sean split the mass into four equal-sized streams of water. The streams all moved towards the bottles on the boy's belt, filling up each bottle until all four bottles were full. With the water returned to their respective bottles, Sean deactivated his quirk. He then began to walk back to Chiyoko, raising his hand and giving her a thumbs up.
"So what did you think, Chiyoko? I'd say the belt did its job perfectly, right?"
