HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? At first instant Rowan had thought it had been a wonderful idea, later she started to regret her thoughts out loud. To be fair it was not Rowan who all thought it now but that did not matter, for the outside world she was still Rowan, for the one person that knew better she was Lady. It did not matter much, she dressed the same, she pretended to be the same but there were little flickering moments that Lady showed her side more often. That did not matter, no one knew Rowan good enough. The thing is that the idea of Rowan to work out a cheerleading squad had been from before the Christmas break after she heard about the other clubs, she had wanted to do something that she did like and would be supportive for the sports clubs. It did not seem that she had the courage to go and talk to the others and she had no idea how to fix the uniforms and all the other necessary things. Lady, however, thought it would make it easier to join another club and get into contact with more people and hang up a sign in the building. She left shortly to go and find the teacher she wanted to talk to, when she finished talking to Orlov-sensei she already had a text message from Farrah and that made the spark user smile. She texted back and they managed to find a time where they would be able to meet and Rowan ran back to fix that on the piece of paper. It would be at seven in the evening in the Gym of the school. She was there way too early and was now waiting on the other students to show up and hopefully join her in the idea. If they would agree and perhaps already work out on a routine, she had a few ideas in mind, she could hopefully get them all convinced to work out on the routine on their own and once before they would show up at the football match that the football club had soon. She was perhaps starting off way too fast. But with the announcement of the sports events, she wanted to get this done before and show that they could cheer on their fellow students of U.A. Even Lady could be nervous and she leaned on one leg before changing and leaning on the other, having her arms crossed in front of her chest and actually being quite impatient as well. She hoped Farrah would show up soon too, it was best to have someone beside you, especially if socializing wasn't her best thing. ~ Farrah di Prima Chiyoko Honda Jisatsu Keiko @eris Melody Miro The idea is to just introduce us all in one post and sign up for beginning a cheerleading squad. The second post, Rowan will talk about the possible routine and the suggestion that some go and cheer on the football team. You don't have to join that if you don't want but let me know at the end of this thread. Darren suggested the thread to me for a start of the cheerleading squad~!

Eat. Sleep. Cheer. Repeat.
Chiyoko had, once again, got herself into some seriously different shit, this time in the form of joining the school’s brand spanking new cheerleading squad. Having seen the advertisements posted around the campus, and wanting to contribute to the Sports Festival as much as possible while lacking real confidence in her sporting abilities, she now made her way to the designated meeting point.
“I mean, it’s a way to make friends at least, right?” she muttered her thoughts aloud, ignorant of whatever odd looks talking to herself would likely draw her. “You need more of those. A lot more. And you get to wear a cute outfit too so it’s a win-win.”
At last she arrived at the meeting point, also known as the gym. She paused outside the door for a moment and took a deep breath before going inside. “Hello? Anyone here?”
As she called out she spied a dark-haired female student, who wore a cheerleading outfit that kind of gave what she was there for away. She was not from Chiyoko’s class, so therefore obviously one of the hero course kids. Chiyoko let out a small sigh of relief at not being the first one there. Plastering a bright, sunny smile over her face, she approached this other student with a hand raised in greeting.
“Hiya! You’re here for the cheerleader stuff, right? Me too! I’m Honda Chiyoko from Support Studies. I mean, cheerleading is pretty support-y, so I guess it fits for me to be here!”

It took him a bit to actually show up to wear he thought they were supposed to meet. Some of the large school grounds still confused him and he had a tendency to now and again lose his bearings when traversing some of the areas he wasn't normally around involving his current classes and curriculum. He eventually found it trying to go through all the appropriate sign ups. He hadn't been part of any of the clubs before and had been to timid to join any clubs in middle school either. He had to only use part of their uniforms though. Just as like with his uniform the full outfit was just to stifling. He didn't have sweat glands and usually tried to keep cool by keeping his upper body uncovered usually only wearing pants if he could help it. In extreme heat he could often be reduced to panting as well but that was something for another time entirely.
He wanted a way to get fit a bit more and have some fun maybe meet some nice people to help work out of his slump. So he eventually came out to see who was in charge his furry upper body shining with clean fur. His ears perked up curiously straight in the air making him almost look taller then he actually was. His lower body covered by UA colored pants. Themed for the school and coming over to settle where it seemed they were meant to for these introductions. He smiled and tried to hide his shy timid spirit that gnawed at him lightly. Gulping but pushing through anyway. Not wanting it to defeat him today! Today was gonna be different then normal!

Sports weren't really Chise's forte, but hearing the slight mention of a possible cheerleading group piqued Chise's interest. She's always wanted to wear one of those cute uniforms, even if she was a little self conscious of her body type. She wondered what sort of uniform U.A. would have, if anything at all. If they wanted to support the school, it would be a good idea to get a group uniform that fit each club member the right way. The redhead decided to play it safe and wear her gym uniform in case they would be doing any physical activity at the meeting. Chise had decided to find the place where they were meeting, hearing from the buzzing in the halls that there was a meeting today. The worst she could do was not join after the first meeting, she wanted to test the waters to see if she'd be a good fit for a cheerleader position. Plus, this would give her the opportunity to talk with other students, most probably being female, and get to know them better.
As she made her way towards the meeting point, she spied quite the cast of familiar characters: Rowan, her good friend from the cooking club, Jisa, the oh so adorable bunny boy from her class, and a new face whom she believed to have transferred into her class. Whatever the case, she wanted to make a good impression! "Ah, Rowan! I didn't think you would be interested in something like this. It's nice to see you again. Oh Jisa-kun, I didn't expect you to be here either, then again, I wasn't sure what to expect coming here," Chise said with a sheepish smile, not wanting to seem rude, just curious as to what Jisa's and Rowan's thoughts were when decided to come to this meeting. The peach haired girl turned to the taller of the three, looking up at her with a smile. "I don't believe we've met. My name is Chise Ishihara, Support Studies class president. I regret not introducing myself sooner, considering we are in the same class. I hope you can forgive me for the delay in introductions," Chise said, her cheeks nice and rosy as she smiled up at the taller before softly bowing.

When Farrah had seen a posting advertising the existence of a cheer-leading club on campus, she'd been ecstatic. Cheer-leading combined three of Farrah's favorite things into one neat package: getting to dress in a flashy way, getting to cheer others up, and perhaps most obviously, having an excuse to sing out rhyming lyrics at loud volumes in a school setting. Next to the sudden announcement of a free-form poetry club, this club's materialization had provided her the best possible opportunity to enjoy a club setting with individuals sharing her interests...
... Or so she hoped. Back in California, there had been cheerleaders, of course, only they hadn't exactly seen eye-to-eye with her unique style of cheering. Back at her old school, it had been a clique- one with Farrah on the outside looking in. After several gatherings with the impregnable cheer squad, she'd finally, at long last, been convinced that she might be able to spread more joy elsewhere, to put it nicely. At the time, Farrah had dismissed it as a misunderstanding that she was sure the team and herself would bounce back from; she had forgotten entirely that a new school might provide her the chance to pursue her dream anew.
It was for this reason that, when Rowan had offered students the chance to gather for a newly formed cheer-leading club, Farrah wanted to get in on the ground floor. One impassioned phone call and many rhyming verses later, she'd been informed that no tryouts were actually needed; it was more a "show up and you're on the team" affair. With music in her soul, begging to escape, Farrah had thrown on her new rainbow-colored scarf atop her school uniform and rushed out to join the group.
What she hadn't expected was how different this gathering would look from her old school's. When an ordinary American pictured a cheerleader, they probably had a certain image in mind: long legs, blond hair, probably female, and almost quintessentially, human. Farrah chastised herself for being so closed-minded as to entertain that notion, for here in this gathering, they so far had two humanoid ladies (one of them Chise, who she recognized from homeroom), one lady that looked excitingly like an alien, and a rabbit boy, who she'd had the chance to meet earlier (and was pretty sure wasn't a girl). "Intergender! Intermutation! I do declare! A more exciting squad than this won't be found anywhere!" she announced at the very moment of her arrival, throwing her arms toward the sky in a gesture of enthusiasm. In a black cap, black shades, school uniform, and a vibrantly quirky rainbow-colored scarf, long enough to wrap her neck and reach all the way to her waist, she was just as much a character as the others she was applauding.
"I heard the summons, and here I am! To join the team I hope to call 'fam'," she continued her introduction, pressing two fingers to the bridge of her glasses as she tilted her head all the way back, raising one leg to an angle with the toe pointed towards the ground, as though preparing to leap in a ballerina's step. "We'll raise everyone's spirits and look hot while we do it! And practice until there's nothin' much to it!" she further resolved, then actually executed the leap, landing nearby the front and turning to face as many as she could, as though she intended to usurp Rowan's position as captain. "Farrah di Prima, pleased to meet you! Though I spot familiar faces; specifically, you two," she chuckled, smiling wide and using each pointing finger to single out a member of Support Studies that she recognized.
At this point, she took note of the gym uniform that Chise and Jisa wore (well, the latter was only wearing half of his). Raising one eyebrow, she looked back down at her own attire... not exactly befitting cheer practice. An awkward smile spread across her face. She then spared another look to Rowan and her surprisingly showy cheer uniform. An even more awkward, slightly pervy smile spread across her face, before she shook it off. "Well friends, I must confess! I didn't come in appropriate dress. If we're planning to do a pyramid then I'll be the bottom and ya'll be the lid," she suggested, holding out the hem of her skirt to make clear why she recommended such a formation.

--- arisu --- - And Then There Was One -
Cheerleading was a natural draw for Arisu. Not because she was naturally happy or bubbly- exactly the opposite. Arisu, despite all appearances, struggled constantly with her own self image and confidence, but- rather than yield to that fight- she just fought harder, and a spot on the cheerleading squad was part of her battle plans along that front. Aside from helping her build up her speed and coordination, both of which where things she felt she needed to build on, it was also an excellent chance to push herself towards more positive heights without needing an excuse to be overly peppy or positive.
She also desperately hoped it might be a good place to make a few more club friends that weren't quite so... Darren.
She arrived early, but not so early as many of the others, it seemed, in her gym pants and tank top. Not precisely the most modest of outfits, but neither was it revealing and it was most assuredly well suited to exercise, which was likely to frequently be business at hand among this crowd. She didn't open the door at first, though- caution was ever in her nature, and until she opened the door, she'd be free to turn around and walk away. Joining the cheer club was volunteering to be front and center on a frequent basis, supporting her classmates while putting her own performance skills to the test in largely public display.
But in the end, her insecurities quailed in the face of the sheer determination Arisu possessed to not just be a -good- student, but a -model- student, and that meant being brave- something else this was going to help with. No courage without fear, after all, right? So, after a brief struggle with herself at the door, she pushed it open and strode in, lifting a hand and waving at her friends, donning the near-perfected mask of enthusiasm that let her keep on keeping on without having to explain every frown and melancholic sigh along the way. "Hello, everyone! Hi, Farrah! I don't think I've met anyone besides Pop Poet, here- I'm Arisu Disukodo, or Firewall if we end up in an exercise together. Is this everyone? I'd love to hear everyone's name, but I feel like that should wait for whoever else might be coming." She glanced around at the other students and clasped her left wrist, looking to Rowan. "Is this okay so far as an outfit goes? I wasn't sure what to bring."
Chatter as defense against rampant insecurity?
Check.

Post by Kang Hye-Rin on Jan 29, 2019 6:33:21 GMT -4
"Aish! Not again!" The short Korean yelled as she faced another dead end, a defeated huff leaving her lips as the grip on her tupperware container tightened. U.A. had not shown Hye-Rin any shred of remorse, becoming more confusing as each day passed. If she hadn't already memorized the path to her homeroom door, she would have surely been kicked out of the school by now for attendance.
Turning around on her heels with a slump in her step like a wilted flower, the girl continued her search. Not just anything would bring out such a determined Hye-Rin on a school night, no less. But the mention of a cheerleading squad assembling did more than just excite her. Held in her flowered hands was a container filled with gimbap- delightful rolls of seaweed, rice, vegetables, and beef- sealed tightly in plastic wrap. First impressions were important, of course, and she had slaved away in the kitchen that morning preparing the snacks for the group's meeting. With her father's help, of course!
Hye-Rin sighed, balancing the container into one hand to reach for her cell phone, the buds that had grown on the back of her hand rubbing against the inner fabric of her jacket as she did so. Though it proved difficult to type with only one free hand, she did her best to post a quick message in the chatroom to see if anyone could come to her aid,"How...do...I...get-" She spoke the text aloud as she typed, still continuing to walk while she did so. Eyebrows furrowing faintly and words trailing off, the brown-haired rounded a couple corners while wandering as her eyes remained focused on her screen,"...Should I add semi-colons...?" Deciding quickly, Hye-Rin signed the message with what she thought looked like crying eyes and returned her phone to her jacket pocket.
It wasn't until she looked up and nearly dropped her precious gimbap in shock that she realized her aimless walking had led straight to the gym! Gasping melodramatically and smiling from ear to ear, Hye-Rin hurried to the door and pushed it open with a loud,"Good evening! I brought snacks!" Though she was quite small for her age, the Korean's voice more than made up for what she lacked in the height department. As she looked around at the crew that had amassed- more than half of them being in her class- Hye-rin couldn't help but blush at the turn-out! Not only that, but small rose buds began popping out of the skin on her cheeks, a shade just as red as her face,"Wow... I'm glad I made enough for everyone!" She'd giggle, walking closer to the group. They all looked welcoming enough, but the introduction for herself had gone over her head as she lifted the lid to unveil the rolls of gimbap she'd made for her new team, holding out the container for everyone to help themselves. While they would hopefully take their share, Hye-Rin would quickly post another message in the chatroom to alert whoever read that she had, indeed, found the gym.
There would be seven rolls waiting for them, one for each member including herself. However, if another soul came late, Hye-Rin would give them the snack without hesitation. It was the kind of person she was, afterall!

Post by Lani Bijan on Jan 29, 2019 12:00:40 GMT -4
these rapid eyes will keep on moving "Fuck Yeah!" A voice shouted spontaneously at various points through the campus as Lani made her way over to the training facilities. While she had joined the sports club hoping to do this very thing, she didn't really expect there to be enough people to want to make cheerleading its own thing. Having been homeschooled, Lani didn't know that it was an actual club activity. She always figured that it was a side thing that was used by the school to promote their events. But seeing that Yuuei was going to start one of their very own, Lani couldn't help but be extremely excited to join it. It put her admission into the sports club in question, but this was what she wanted to do in the first place. She loved sports. She loved watching them and supporting those that were playing. The same could be said for her class in general. She loved seeing them grow and becoming better heroes. It was excited to see just what kind of amazing things they were going to pull off next. SO when Lani signed up for the cheerleading club and went to the training facilities where they were all going to meet, she was extremely excited. So much so that she was having random outbursts of joy filled with cursing and general japery.
The training facilities were a common place for her to visit. She liked watching others training and practice with each other. She didn't participate much in the action herself, but she did practice her swordsmanship on her own time. She needed to keep a sharp blade even if she wasn't actively fighting. As she approached the building, she smiled. She had come prepared, sort of. She assumed there would be tryouts of some kind. That was what happened on the television shows right. Trying to make the cheerleading squad was some kind of exclusive team, like a sports team and not everyone could make it. Honestly, Lani didn't know and didn't care all that much. She did, however, at least come dressed in the school's gym uniform. If she was going to have to move and sweat, this was going to work for her for now.
However, Lani didn't wear her clothes correctly in the first place. Though those form her class were used to it by now, the rest of the school had yet to have Lani's glory pushed onto them. Lani liked the light on her skin. It was mostly the result of her quirk, but growing up with it as a part of her formed her behavior. and that behavior was showing a lot of skin. So while she was wearing the gym uniform, it was just the jacket and pants. The pants leg was rolled up so that her shins were exposed and she only wore her bra underneath her gym jacket. It was, of course, completely unbuttoned and flowing in the air as she jogged her way to the training facilities, but Lani felt no shame. That was just who she was. She wore sneakers for the trek outside but figured they would be on long if they actually started to do anything. And as for Lani's arrival? She burst into the area and faced the group that was already gathered with a wide smile. "Sup bitches! Let's get this thing off the fucking ground!" Crass and shameless, that was Lani. And of those present, she only just barely knew two of them. People she had seen briefly in one place or another, Chise and Roawn. She didn't even remember their name, so this was basically a reintroduction to them. 607 | @tagged | notes ulla

Melody walked in last, she had heard about the formation of a cheer leading squad, and well...it was the closest thing they had to a dance squad so she figured why not. She came with a small string bag attached to her back to hide her tattoo mark. She also was wearing a sport's bra and gym shorts. She walked into the facility and looked around observing each of the girls that were there. Melody really had no clue what to do, most of the students she talked too were guys and she had almost no experience talking to girls her age cause of her...past school. In fact she had a hard time talking to girls her age because they were the bullies of her old school, they harassed her for having a quirk and even isolated her from certain groups because they only saw her as a spoiled brat which was a label falsely assigned to her.
She moved in slowly, left, right, left, her bag bouncing up and down. She had a bottle of water in there since it was important for her to stay hydrated. Her anxiety began to bubble up inside her like a pot of water, she felt extremely uncomfortable and unaware of what she was suppose to be doing. Would these girls be different than those people? I mean after all some of them had EXTREMELY different mutations, some of which you could call alien or even...just not human. she wasn't judging them, it was more like a child's curiosity of seeing something for the first time and asking "what is that?" and the parent not really having an answer, she didn't want to ask them about it cause it's most likely rude especially when they most likely hear it a hundred thousand times per day if they ever stepped off of school grounds..hell they probably faced even more discrimination than her, but yet here she is stunned by fear.

Between studies, training, socializing, cooking club, and all manner of other activities, Rimma had almost completely missed out on the formation of Yuuei's brand new cheerleader club. She had mentioned the idea of cheering on others engaged in sports in the school chatroom before, so hearing about the club was a pleasant surprise and one she was quick to pounce on. To her, it would be an excellent opportunity to meet more of her schoolmates and be involved in the sport's side of things without actually having to play sports herself - not to mention it would be good exercise, and help with coordination and complex maneuvers after some practice.
Since she didn't actually have a cheerleading uniform on hand, nor was she aware of what the proper one for Yuuei would even look like, Rimma hurriedly jogged into the gym in her track suit. She wasn't nearly as bundled up as she would like, but she could hardly do cheer practices while wearing fifteen coats. She did, however, have her fluffy white scarf around her shoulders and her knitted cap atop her head.
Long red hair bobbing and swaying freely and her breath coming out in icy puffs, the Russian girl dropped out of her jog to raise a hand in a polite wave to everyone already present. A few of them she recognized, her gray-blue eyes lighting up as she noted Chise, Farrah and Arisu. The rest were completely new faces, but she didn't let that bother her any as she put a polite smile on her pale round face and called out.
"Zdrastvootye, everyone! I hope I am not running too late!" Then, she dropped her hand down and walked over to join the small crowd of girls - though she wasn't sure if the bunny-like student actually was female, she was inclined to assume as much. Her smile turned slightly apologetic, and she gave a polite incline of her head in a facsimile of a bow. "I apologize if I do not recognize some of you if we have talked before in the school chatroom. My name is Rimma Savvaeva Yemelin."
Then, she straightened up and gave an amused tilt of her head towards her fellow red-head and cooking club vice-president before adding. "Amusing that we are now in two clubs together, no?"

HEY YOUNG BLOOD DOESN'T IT FEEL LIKE TIME IS RUNNING OUT? With the help from the school, the spark user had a first look at the cheerleader uniform on. She had definitely not been lazy today as she had run around to fix things, get things done in case three to four people would show up. She hoped at least for that, so they could form a proper stance when cheering on a team. The uniforms were a strange orange-red colour with blue and the letters of U.A. She had at this point not thought that any males would join but that did not matter, she only had her own after all. She would have to push her mother's seamstress to be faster and get everyone their sizes correct. That would be before everyone would leave, she made a small notebook for everyone to leave their names and phone numbers and sizes or they could text her that in case they did not want it discussed like that but it was (and that was noted down) only for the sake of the uniforms.
What she did have was pompons, which were in the bag next to her but she first stated at the people that entered. The first one was a girl she did not know, so that meant already someone besides Farrah would show up and that made her excited, even for Lady. It was nice when a project did work out. Chiyoko, she should remember that. She formed a chuckle about the idea of being support-y. "I am Sakamoto, Rowan. I was the one to put up the pamphlet, great you had time to come." Which would be nice to say, right? Another person showed up, she had maybe seen the human hare before in the hallways but they never have spoken to each other, "Hello." She simply said because well she did not know what to say more, she would introduce herself a bit later when she believed everyone would be here. But this already made for four members, this was a thing, she should run to Orlov-sensei to tell him it all worked out. With a satisfied little smile on her face, she would just greet Farrah, who would probably come about... Chise? She blushed when Chise said she did not expect her to be interested in something like this, "It's better than doing the actual sports because I won't be good at that." She muttered, embarrassed by her friend.
Finally, there was Farrah and her nerves dropped a little, she smiled because of her way of speech, definitely one to help with making yells and slogans. Rowan had to admit she did not completely think it through and hoped that with the help of the other cheerleaders they could form the best squad there ever was. "Don't worry, I did not plan too much for the first meeting." She said to reassure her new friend, whom she had texted this afternoon for the meetup plans. Now she wanted to open her mouth and introduce herself because, to be honest, Rowan didn't expect more people but she was wrong, soon, one after the other entered the gym as well, stating they came here for exactly where she was here for. Her eyes turned a little bit bigger as they were now with ten. This was a great start.
"Hi everyone, I am Sakamoto Rowan, the one who put up the pamphlet, I am so glad you all saw it and had time to show up. I spoke to Orlov-sensei about the club and he would support us, so that's already set. I don't want to be too difficult at our first meeting, we could try to discuss what we are all best at and try to find a date for our first training, I am not sure if any of you can show up Sunday but the football team has a match and the captain asked me if the new cheerleaders would want to join for support. I said yes." She thumb twiddled her hair to make sure she was doing okay. "I just want to say that I am okay if you can't come to practice once in a while but I do have to say that practice makes perfect and I want to keep you all, as long as you are motivated, but we will find something that suits everyone the best. I eh." This felt strange, "will be the future captain but that doesn't mean I don't need you guys." She hoped to say it nicely, she might be stricter later on but it would bad to scare off the people you want to keep in your team. "If everyone could introduce themselves, we can just meet each other today and maybe meet up next Sunday morning before the match to just get through a cheer, I don't want to do something extravagant yet, but we should definitely practice before the sports events and cheer on our fellow students. I have some ideas in mind for the routine now so at the end I can show you a paper with it, I also have a notebook so we can exchange phone numbers properly because the U.A. chat can be messy to find people. We can start our own group app and if you would either text me your sizes or write it down in this book, I can get the uniforms ready."
~~ Tldr: Important matters, the uniform is the gif I used. The thing is that longer shirts for girls are optional too, I don't want people to feel uncomfortable. Guys would get pants and can have longer shirts too instead of crop tops. It was mostly about the colour. Xerp and I liked the idea of coloured pompons so please mention your colour at the end of your post! (Rowan will be Red) Also, let me know in a bar like this if you want to join the thread of Darren's football match. Ic Rowan knows it's on a short term so she won't blame anyone for not coming.

School activities were always a thing that Ericka tried to take part in. She moved around a lot, so being a part of a school club or activity was a quick way to make some friends and be around people that shared her interests. Truth be told she was sort of in a cheerleading squad before. It wasn't anything official and was just kind of a preemptive cheer team for her school. It was when she was in grade school and the parents wanted the girls to have a thing of their own. The little league didn't really need cheerleaders, but having something the girls could get together and do besides sports made a lot of the parents happy. For the kids, however, it was just more time to hang out together. No one really knew what cheering involved and being little kids they didn't care all that much. Their first few meets had attempted for the girls to do things, but in the end, it didn't turn into anything. The whole point of the push was just revealed to be something the mothers could brag about starting for their daughters. It was around that time that Ericka's parents pulled her from that program and they had to move away anyway. Since then, the idea of helping out her classmates and cheering them on sat in the back of Ericka's head. And when she joined the hero school, she didn't think she would be in a squad like this at all. Being the class president was her way of helping ut. But now that an actual cheerleading squad was here, she was excited to help in this way too. Not to mention she was going to be able to wear a cute cheerleading outfit and pumping up the crowd for the game. It was a fun idea and she was going to be able to meet more people. So once the time was set for the meet, she made sure to get there as soon as she could. Unfortunately, she ended up arriving late. Between cleaning duties in the classroom and her duties as class president, Ericka had quite the workload today. However, she was determined to take part in something like this, so she wasn't going to miss out. She rushed to the training facilities while still wearing her school uniform. She didn't have time to change and hoped there wouldn't be anything too demanding at the meetup. Just this once she needed for it to be something easy enough to do in the uniform. When she entered the building, she saw the crowd of students and them talking about the squad alrighty. In order to not interrupt, she simply walked her way to the edge of the group and listened in on Rowan's explanation of how things were going to be done. She saw some familiar faces, namely CHise and Lani. She was happy to have two people she knew already be there and was glad she wasn't jumping into a room of complete strangers. She was just in time to exchange numbers with Rowan and did so promptly. As for her sizes, Ericka decided to write them down for her. It was already information she had on hand with the costume designs she was doing for her class, so she practically had it memorized. "Thank you for doing this Rowan. My name is Ericka. I'm fine with the base uniform and if we need a color, green for me is my favorite." She said, making sure to introduce herself before things went too far.

He smiled quickly at Chise's warm welcome, The girl had a way of making him feel comfortable in this school with what reactions they'd had thus far. He was glad to find how kind the majority of people seemed to be in these halls. It made things and his adjustments that much more easier of late as well. He sniffed the air too smelling the one who brought snacks before she actually made her way into the room. He remained a little quiet though to himself giving warm greetings but keeping silent and listening the majority of the time to what was happening around him.
He had a note book with him to take down any notes that seemed of important as well. This was his first real club and he didn't want to mess up the chance or do something goofy like he often did to ruin it. For the most part he remained starry eyed listening in to everyone as they approached and then Rowan explaining things. He would have sat up close to the front and been watching her with large light eyes and ears that seemed to perk the more she spoke. A small little open mouthed grin on his face as he'd scribble down anything of note he thought of what she or the others would say in suggestions. While he may not have added much himself at the moment he seemed to be entirely truly pleased just to be included if not enamored in the moment.

Melody sat and listen to the girls all speaking with each other. She was kind of envious of them all, so easily talking among'st themselves, she really wish she could join in but she didn't really know how to start off. She stuck her nose in her phone sending help messages for advice in the universal U.A chat but no one really responded to it, great. Ugh who could she ask for help? Darren? That moron barely knows how to talk to melody half the time, Rin was probably busy with her girl friend, she never got haruto's number and Akio was nowhere to be found. Later, someone named Hye-Rin in the universal U.A chat who said she wanted to talk to her and to look up, suddenly that girl was right in front of her.
Melody waved and turned kind of red that someone here saw what she had said, well duh it WAS a universal chat, some of the girls might have been on there too and she hadn't even thought of that. She introduced herself "H-Hi im melody.." she said awkwardly waiting for the girl to introduce yourself "I guess you saw the message i had put on there?" as her cheeks turned a special shade of crimson reserved for only the most awkward of moments. "Is your name Hye-Rin?"
After that conversation melody walked towards rowan and the notebook, she did an awkward smile to the pretty girl as she wrote her name in calligraphy with her number, along with her clothing sizes and preferred color for pompoms.

--- arisu --- - - -
"Mm, yes, very amusing that you are in two clubs with exactly one person and not at all with anyone else in the room, Rimma-chan!" Arisu chirped the amused jab towards Rimma with the utmost cheer- but broke into a smothered grin quickly and admitted, "Though, to be fair, I don't know if you actually -joined- the martial arts club so much as visited for some pointers. Still, the joke wouldn't work if I pointed that out first, right?"
Arisu arrived within the glut of new members towards the end of the arrival period, and didn't really get Rowan's attention on herself before their club leader dove right into laying out how things were gonna work today! She made a point to raise a hand briefly to indicate that she would, in fact, be able to come to the football game, short notice or not, and then dropped it before she could be mistaken as having something to say and distracting from the discussion.
When Rowan mentioned being captain and getting antsy over the idea, Arisu chimed in aloud at last. "Don't worry- someone has to be in charge, and it makes sense to be the person who wanted this to happen enough to make it happen. We've got your back- please take good care of us!"
When the meeting moved onwards to introductions, Arisu popped on her heels to draw minor attention without being overly insistent on it. "I'm Arisu Disukodo, 1-A, and I've never really done any cheering before- but I'm happy to learn and I'm decently athletic thanks to my physical conditioning. When it comes to acrobatic stuff, I'm not over-the-top there, but my quirk does lend itself to some maneuverability tricks we might be able to take advantage of, once we get to some more complex cheers and routines." She glanced towards Rowan and took a bit of a breath before offering, "I'd be happy to lend a hand writing some of our cheers and testing routines, too, if you and Farrah need any help with that." She flashed a friendly smile at the blonde she'd worked with in the cart exercise, doing her best to be as supportive as she could be of the girls on point for leading all this.
She responded pleasantly to each new introduction, doing her best to be as welcoming and warm as she felt nervous and anxious inside- which, as it happened, was very, and had the side effect of making her seem quite friendly and bubbly despite it all! When the notebook made its way to her, she scribbled down her sizes and marked a preference for blue pompoms to match the blue on their uniforms, with a little sidenote that she'd be happy with purple, or possibly teal, if the other colors were ones that anyone else felt strongly about reserving.
