Christmas day. Or as the young girl called it, Christophermas. She didn't quite grasp the idea of the celebration, barbed wire hidden under snow all along the edge of the rooftop. The girl dressed in her slim fit black body suit, with various tears and rips from Semper Fi sewn up. All of the stitching done with a certain silk. Around her waist was some kind of duty belt. It was less fit for a hero, and more fit for a construction worker. Tools rested in their pouch, with nails and screws jingling and jangling as the girl took her steps backwards. A grin upon her face, hidden behind a red scarf, one left behind by her sister. Barbed wire and bright lights set up for the day of the celebration. It was to honor the party for that night at the club, but was nothing more than a trap for the fat man who was going to arrive on his sled with his reindeer slaves. Kasey had prepared her own night in with the celebrity. But it was going to be one that was much different than the one from before. To dance their night on the floor, masked and hidden away if they wanted. The Pink Jackal was a masquerade ball they never had to leave. With a smile, she would turn to face the staircase into the building from the roof, and he would make her way back to her own room. First passing through her office, she would head into her bedroom, and slowly she would peer in, to greet her guest. "Did you sleep well?" she would say to her, "I hope I am not disturbing you." Yuri Kobayashi, daughter of Thundershock. A girl who swore to kill her father, locked in a place with a woman who consumed the dead. Surely it wasn't going to go downhill, right? ~ Word Count: 314 ~ |

Lightning Strike Yuri Kobayashi - Pop Star Christmas Day wasn't something that Yuri had ever celebrated whenever she lived with the Kobayashi clan. To her father, Christmas was just another day, and a waste of money. That of course didn't stop him from selling Christmas Shit by the box full in his various stores, or decking out the slaves in slutty Christmas attire for the pleasure of his buyers... No Christmas time had never been very pleasant back then. In more current days, Yuri had spent most Christmases alone, though tried to still enjoy the holiday as best she could. She read up on it's history, what it was all about and often got her manager a little gift... but there was no one else in her life that Yuri kept close enough to celebrate this with. Of course, there were always the amazing fans who would send her TONS of stuff for Christmas once she got popular... that did a lot to comfort the young woman. This year however... it was going to be a completely different Christmas. Her heart was pounding away in her chest like she'd just run the full length of Okinawa without stopping. She was actually scared of how this was going to go. Not because she didn't care for Kas... she was just really, really out of her element here. She sucked in a deep breath, placing her hand on her chest as if that would help stabilize her. They were supposed to take part in the masquerade dance here at the Pink Jackal, and so Yuri dressed for the Occasion. She had bought herself a silk, red dress that went down to the start of her thighs before it split open on both sides. The back would be exposed if not covered by a black lace that wrapped around the top half of the front of her dress as well. Around her neck, there was a black feather boa, accented by the black thigh high nylons she wore on her legs. She'd definitely gone all out on this outfit. She had woken up that morning in the unfamiliar bed (though it was starting to get familiar), and has spent most of the say milling about pink Jackal. While Kas was worrying about the decorations outside, she was busy getting things ready inside. Kas had done a... job, getting the place all decorated for Christmas, but she did her best to add her own little touches here and there. Finally, Yuri had gone back to the room as Kas had spent quite some time away. She decided it was finally time to take a bit of a nap. If she was going to have a long night, she needed to rest... When she had finally woken up, she had chosen to immediately dress in the gown she was going to wear that night. There was only about an hour before the place opened anyways, and it would give Kas a peek at what would unfold later that night. So when Kasey finally stepped in, Yuri smiled as she stood up to her feet, letting her purse rest by her side as she walked towards Kas and promptly took the girls hands in her own. She smiled brightly and nodded to Kas' first question. "Of course I did~ You're finally done? So, how do I look?"
She asked, clearly not bothered at all by the question of whether or not she'd been disturbed by the other girl. ulla

Beauty was in the eye of the beholder. It was a phrase that confused the girl far more than it should have. If someone had no eyes, did they not understand beauty? If they were blind, could they not see the truth? What about people like Susumu, who lacked an eye, did she see beauty? For someone like Kasey, who had regenerated her own socket, did it mean she always saw beauty? Or were eyes just a tool for one to be permitted the ability to perceive beauty. What was beauty? Whatever that word meant, it would be the only one that came out of her mouth. "Just beautiful." Kasey would say to Yuri. Kasey would remove her own belt to toss it aside to the floor, left still holding onto the other's own. She was far under dressed compared to her lover, but that would have been sorted rather quickly. Releasing Yuri's grasp, Kasey would run over to her closet, only to take out a long coat. She would quickly slip it over her arms, and buttoned the front. It wasn't one of her own picks, but one she had taken from Cherry. A decorated uniform, one she didn't quite understand the ranks for. But still, it looked beautiful on her, and if it was her twin, surely it would look just as nice on Kasey. Kasey would make her way past Yuri, only to reach backwards back at her. "I know it's probably not the nicest thing you've ever done, but I figured it would be different." Kasey would smile, looking back at the one she loved. Needles would begin to pierce the girl's face, none of them any larger than a fraction of a toothpick. All of them weaving towards each other until her eyes were hidden behind her own quirk-made bone mask. "It'll be like a masquerade ball." Kasey would tell her, "You'll just like everyone else, no one will bother you here." She was famous, Kasey figured it would be tiring. To hide from it all, the fans, the people, the haters. Kasey knew what it was like to live a life under watch. Even for one night, if she could be free. . . "Then we can enjoy my other surprises, and when we get back, we can see if we caught Santa!"Curse that fat old man. ~ Word Count: 400 ~ |

Lightning Strike Yuri Kobayashi - Pop Star
Yuri just beamed at the other girl as Kasey complimented her with just two words. She didn't need more then that, she knew that Kasey was a girl of few words and so took the compliment. She would lean forward to place a gentle kiss on Kasey's nose as the girl would suddenly let her go to go and get dressed herself. She ran towards her closet and picked out what looked like a long, militaristic red coat.
Well, at least it matched her dress didn't it? She couldn't help but chuckle softly whenever Kas then came back over, noting how this was probably not something she was used too. She would just shake her head at that, turning to grab her own mask from the night side table and affix it around her head so that it covered her eyes.
"Isn't every day as a Vigilante just a masquerade? Just ... minus the dancing and the fun~ Don't worry about how nice or not nice things are okay? I'm not as picky as you think I am~" She admitted kindly as she watched Kasey grow her own mask... yes literally grow it... out of her own bones. That was still going to take some getting used to, but she would in time. She stepped up and took Kasey's hand, leading her back out towards the door as Kas then explained there were other surprises. Yuri raised an eyebrow as she looked back at her.
"Other surprises? Now you've got me interesting... just what are you planning? or is it Setsuna's plan this time?" She asked teasingly, knowing that as long as she was dating Kas, it was almost like dating two people in the same body. She'd always have Setsuna by her side now as well, wouldn't she.

"He won't be bothering us." Kasey would speak, leading the girl out of the room and down to the main floor of the nightclub. On the back of the girl's neck, like a collar, bone would take shape. Two hallow pockets that held darkness in their pit. It was the eyes of her quirk, watching from behind the girl's hair. He would allow their moment of privacy. But if needed, he was still there to be used. "I wasn't allowed to plan anything, besides what to do with Santa's body." the voice would speak, though muffled from under the girl's ivory hair. He wasn't lying, but still, it was a night for the girls, no demons invited. But when the pair made it to the lobby, from behind their masks they would see all of the bright neon lights. The typical violet and blues traded for reds and greens. People word holiday themed colors, but none were quite as dressed as the couple. "First, we move a little, spend time with the customers, then the rest of the night, my staff will cater to us, like servants, only, they get paid for it." Kasey would smile, it maybe wasn't a nice thing to do for them, but with holiday bonuses, who wouldn't take up the offer to butter their boss? ~ Word Count: 221 ~ |

Lightning Strike Yuri Kobayashi - Pop Star
Kasey completely skipped over her question of the surprise, causing Yuri t chuckle as she reached over towards Kasey and took her hand into her own. She would bring the girls hand up to her lips, kissing the back of it gently as Kasey assured her that Setsuna wouldn't be bothering them.
"He is part of you, so I could never mind even if he did bother us." She assured the silver haired girl with a smile, looking back towards her neck whenever she heard Setsuna's voice come from there. Such a strange spot, but surely there was a reason. She just let it slide, offering Setsuna the same smile she had offered Kasey.
"Unfortunately I don't think you guys are going to catch him tonight. Those traps are horrifying, i'm sure he got the message." She went along with Kasey's believe in Santa just t hen, having heard from G all about their conversation and how Kas had come to the most sound conclusion that an old magic man broke into your house once a year and left presents behind. Kasey was... special. Innocent and yet not. That's what she loved about her to be honest, there was just so much to this girl that Yuri could just never have enough.
"Alright well, let's dance then!" She would exclaim excitedly, her hand still in Kas' as she pulled the girl along, making their way down to the dance floor just as the DJ started to play... one of her own damn songs. She laughed at the irony of it, having an incredible urge t run up on stage and sing it herself but resisted the urge. Instead she turned to Kas, taking both hands int her own, smiling brightly as she began to move her body in time to the music.
Those that had come to the Pink Jackal for the Christmas ball would look at the two girls curiously as they came down to dance. Not because they stood out or they knew who they were, but they were bth dressed to the absolute nines!

Maybe it wasn't the smartest, or the best thing to do, but in her attempts to be cute, Kasey had made her choice. It might not have been the same genre of music as the club played every night. But it didn't matter. It was her girlfriend. It was all of the reasons she needed to pay her songs. It wasn't techno jazz, or electro swing, but god did it make her heart sing. "A part of me, no. He can leave any time he wants. Within me, yes." she would tell her lover. Kasey wasn't the best at explaining, much less explaining the complexities of her quirk. Setsuna was his own being. They may have been connected in the matter that he was born from her body, but he was his own creature. A parasite that chose his host. A symbiotic relationship. He never found a reason to leave, as the girl did all he needed, granted with terms. To find a mindless servant as a puppet would leave him bored. To be stuck behind the girl's skull, locked in a rivalry with bubbles, Setsuna found his family. He was his own person. But he chose to live in the body of his... sister. "For the record, I don't watch when you... uh..." his voice muffled, and hidden behind the wall of hair, mostly. He didn't have much to say, but for now, his sight would be locked and hidden to the darkness, not seeing through her eyes for once. "Well that's no good." Kasey would say, slowing down. She would pause, to try and gather a new approach, only to be pulled along behind the girl on their little night together. No Santa. For now, it was about Yuri. Kasey would just have to kill another fat man to make her point to him later. To set an example of- Hand in hand, both girls shook and moved to the music, Kasey loose and limber as she twirled side to side. Perhaps her old style of dancing was too dated, but with nothing but books about the 1920's, she couldn't help herself. She was a future girl, living in the past. They were two girls who came to dance, dressed far nicer than anyone who had came to the club that night. But maybe that was the point, after all, it was the owner and her girl. Why wouldn't they be fine dressed? Kasey took each step graciously, as her body moved from side to side, her legs shaking with the beat. A smile wa held on her face, and never left her lips. Kasey was in love. With more than just the song. ~ Word Count: 447 ~ |

Lightning Strike Yuri Kobayashi - Pop Star
"Maybe he can leave any time, but he is inside you, so at least for now he is a part of you~" She cooed, smiling brightly to the silver haired girl as she dragged her out onto the dance floor. She knew the songs that were playing well, and had even studied some of them closely to incorporate a few moves into her own choreography. So she would guide Kas through the movements as the other girl started this very awkward, old school dance style.
"When's the last time you took some time to relax Kas?" Yuri asked her lowly, never letting go of her hands as they moved. At least, not for long. Kas really was a mysterious creature to her, one she wanted to learn more about as time went on~ As the fast paced music would soon die down, Yuri would close the gap between the two girls, bringing her hands around Kas' waist as she held her close, moving into a much slower dance.
"And I mean... when's the last time you really got to enjoy this place as more than just it's owner..?" she asked now, much more softly so that her voice didn't sound above the now much softer music.

Perhaps it was true. They were one being, for now at least. They might have not been the same person, but without each other, both of them would just be halves. They were halves of perhaps different wholes, but with each other, they were at least complete. And for tonight, the both of them were spending it with Yuri. It didn't matter if one was zoning off in his own world, he was still with them, and the three of them, were together. And that was how Kasey wanted it. The pace, the tempo, and song, and the girls would all slow down, and draw near. "I can relax when I'm dead. The more this goes on, the less I find myself sleeping, and less I find myself tired." Work was exhausting. Her body was always in a regenerative state. From wounds, and her own mental state, it seemed as if her body was recovering faster than she found herself wounded. She was seamless, and each night, her found herself with more and more time as she slept less and less. Was it unhealthy? Perhaps. But whatever strain it cased her, was quickly rooted away and replaced. Heavy liquor tucked at her bedside as she tried to knock herself out to sleep beside her one true love. But it was not out of her exhaustion, but the desire to sleep as she slept. That was all she wanted. To be normal. But this world wanted her to be more and more of a monster. "I run much more than this club." Kasey spoke, her own heart sinking. So much of her life was tucked away from Yuri. Sato. The Corporation. All of the dark hidings. But she was a spy for the light, wasn't she? Yuri would understand, right? "If I stop doing what I'm doing. People will die." Kasey spoke, with a sense of honor, trying to justify herself. But Kasey was all work and no fun. And it was making her a dull girl. ~ Word Count: 345 ~ [Kasey & Setsuna] || TrackerQuirks/Abilities: Spirit Harvest : C Iron Stomach : E | Out of Body Experience : F | Busy-ness License : D Regeneration : D |

Lightning Strike Yuri Kobayashi - Pop Star
"Kas, hun that's not healthy... your work is important but so is your health." Yuri protested to Kas' statement. As the music slowed to a crawl she would soon find herself pressed up against Kas, her arms looping around the girls neck gently. She brought her head forward and leaned it against Kas' own so that the to were eye to eye as they swayed in time to the music.
She then admitted to running more than just the club, and honestly Yuri figured as much. Kas involved herself in way too much... she took so much responsibilities and burdens onto her own shoulders that it in no way surprised her that there was more lurking beneath the surface. Hell, she was raised by Thundershock after all... if she didn't expect it by now she was a total moron.
"Tell me... I want to help you, I said I would right? Besides what kind of girlfriend would I be if I can't help you carry your burdens?" She asked as she removed her head from Kasey's only to wrap the girl in a tight hug as they swayed.
"What people? Why do they matter? I can live with them dying if it means you stay alive~" She whispered to her, keeping her face close to Kas so those around them wouldn't hear their conversation.
"And besides... I can really wear you out, you just had to say so" She whispered to her, bringing her lips up to Kas's ear and playfully nipping at it to get her point across.

She was right. Working this hard would kill someone. But Kasey wasn't just someone. She was the one that divided good from bad, and the dark from light. In her eyes, if she fell, so would the world. It would be chaos if the girl didn't continue her systematic killings. It would be chaos if she didn't fund the same villains she hunted. It was a game, a most dangerous game. But she wasn't just Zaroff, she was Rainsford as well. "I suppose you're right." The words fell from her, and still it felt wrong. No, she was the new head of Ketsujo, but still she used Sato's face. But to allow others to die, just for an immortal girl to live? No. That was not the life she wanted. She had died before. her second life belonged to Majinoki. She was going to raise a new era for him. A new era for her god to rule over the world. A second coming. He would rise from his ashes, and Ranzul would join him to smite those unworthy. Only those who offer their hearts and souls to the great Manjinoki, would be spared. And the chosen, would serve him at his side. But as the girl spoke, she playfully nipped at Kasey's ear. It was like- "NO NO NO!" The voice screamed. Kasey winced at it. The idea, the memory of the scissors. The man in the coat. The glasses. The room. The blood. No. Not now. Not with her. She was safe now. Kasey was alright. Kasey was okay. Safe. Safe place. "Now, let's see what makes you tick."Kasey nudged away at the sound, her mind replaying a single moment on repeat. "Well, I suppose we're in for a long night then." She would say to her. She was strong. She could not tell Yuri. Not again. Sato was responsible. Thundershock likely funded, and supported the project. Sato shut it down. He was an okay guy, he wasn't completely evil. But what of Thunder? What of the daughter that did nothing to stop? No, it wasn't Yuri's fault. It was just her family.~ Word Count: 365 ~ [Kasey & Setsuna] || TrackerQuirks/Abilities: Spirit Harvest : C Iron Stomach : E | Out of Body Experience : F | Busy-ness License : D Regeneration : D |
