[This thread is for class 1-b and Redhorn. Only 6 participants at most. A second thread similar to this will be made as well! So everyone will have a chance to join!]
Arata tapped away at his phone, first sending a message out to another hero he had connected with. Swiping up with his thumb and through the list, he sighed, mumbling about how the user interface was slow to respond. So he planted the phone flat in his palm, and quickly swiped up with his index finger instead. Swipe. Swipe. Swipe. Wait, shit! No, too far! He lifted his hand up and then planted the finger back down on the screen to keep it from moving further. He wanted R, not X. Sighing, the sandy blonde haired teacher swiped back up slowly, getting frustrated about this stupid messenger, and hit up the contact dubbed Redhorn.
[Glovebox: Hey, Redorn, you wanted to get the call out, here it is. U.A. High school, one whole week. I want you to help teach my class a few things and we can get some practice in on one another as well. See you in two days. For seven days. - Glovebox]
After sending out that message, he closed the app, forcing it to shut down in the background so it wouldn't eat his battery, then he whipped up the school messenger. At least this had a better interface and was more responsive, but, it could be easier to organize through everyone. Sighing, he spent about ten minutes finding all of the students by their family name, wishing they were organized by class. ANd when he had everyone on the messaging list, he sent out the following message.
[Hey class 1-B! This is it. I got someone coming in to help us with signature moves. SHe might not be around for every class, but, This is a first come first serve kind of thing. We have seven days with another professional hero that is going to help us work on signature moves. I want to take the time to make sure that everyone is given the time they need to improve, so, we can't get you all on day one. That being said, I'm happy to see everyone come. Oh and if you don't, be ready to write a paper, again, over...I don't know, the theory of powerless heroism? Yeah, that. Anyways, see you in two days! Oh, and come in your gym suits.]
After the weekend ended, Arata would be the first one at the training facility, this one in particular a nice open room with gymnastics padding scattered about the floor. He made sure that the support staff procured the material, ready for heavy impacts and a lot of people being thrown around, as he said himself. He was dressed up as he normally was, that black jacket with the white moons dotting the sides of the hood on over his head and torso. A pair of work pants over his legs, and a nice beige shirt. He needed to get himself a new hero suit, the old one was rather tawdry in his opinion. There was one particular student he wanted to talk about for that as well.
Now, it was time to wait and see if Redhorn showed up today as well.

It would be an exaggeration to say that Noriko spent the entire weekend distracted, but it wasn’t too far from the truth. Very rarely was she eager for Monday to come, but ever since she’d received the text from her homeroom teacher, Noriko had been practically staring at the clock, waiting for the weekend to finally be over. She’d tried to distract herself by diving into homework, but apparently what usually seemed to take forever now passed in the blink of an eye. Left with nothing else to do, she sat in her room and watched nature videos. Over ten documentaries later, it was finally Sunday night. Making sure to set her alarm for earlier than usual, the teenager fell asleep early, eager for the day to come.
Turns out, she didn’t even need the alarm; she’d been so impatient that she had preempted it by a whole ten minutes! But who could blame her? Getting to learn about signature moves from a pro hero that wasn’t Hayashi-sensei was not an opportunity that came frequently, and other heroes' experiences would be invaluable in trying to come up with techniques of her own, so missing out was absolutely out of the question (and her first class at U.A., besides). Plus, she really wanted to avoid an essay if at all possible.
But who would be coming? That was the big question on her mind as she hurriedly (but thoroughly) went through her morning routine. The pro hero profession was still very much in its infancy, so there were only so many heroes in Japan it could be. Who could Hayashi-sensei get to visit the school, she wondered as she gave her teeth a good scrubbing. Running through the list of every Pro Hero she knew of, each seemed an equally likely candidate in her mind. “No point in thinking about it, I guess. I’ll find out soon enough…” she muttered after a few minutes of deliberation, by this time having begun changing out of her night clothes and into the gym uniform that had been requested, though not before first putting on extra warm clothes to stave off the inevitable chill. The pants had to be specially made for her to keep from falling or sagging under the weight of her tail, and she took a few experimental swings to make sure it still held.
Once she was satisfied, she headed from her dorm room straight to the nearest place for food and ate herself a hearty breakfast (the winter months were not kind to her and she needed all the energy she could get to counter the cold). It was then, after she had stuffed herself, that she headed for to the training facilities.
As she entered the room –ducking her head as she did so from sheer force of habit— Hayashi-sensei was the first person she saw. Glancing around, she didn’t see anyone else. Evidently her gusto had paid off and she was the first student present. “Morning,” she said softly, in her usual low rumble. Her hands were deep in her pockets and, as always, she seemed to be trying to make herself unobtrusive and take up as little space as possible.

Ah shit ah shit ah shit-!
Mia hadn’t been expecting the message from one of the UA teachers when she first got it, heck she’d been teasing them mostly whenever she said she’d be happy to show up there sometime. Teaching just wasn’t her forte and she didn’t wanna be stuck in the role full time if the governing bodies of the hero association ended up deciding that’s where they wanted her rather than out on the streets. All the same though, she’d been exceptionally eager. She didn’t know who Glovebox taught but she hoped it’d be a class consisting of at least one of the UA kids she’d met in the past. Jaz, Elaine, Emi. She’d heard something in passing about one student being expelled. Boy she hoped it wasn’t one of the ones she liked.
Either way she’d sent a rather eager response on the day, though she did question the ‘seven days’ part in her response. She knew the school week was different here in japan, but did people actually go to school seven days a week? Huh. She’d have to get used to that if she actually did interact with these kids more. Couldn’t have Jaz skipping classes if she came with her for another ‘ride along’ on hero duty.
Right now she was running late, having gotten into her hero outfit thinking that would be the most professional way she could show herself, despite even her more lazy clothes potentially looking more professional. If the class was expecting a pro she needed to show up with all the bells and whistles afterall, so with her minimalist hero costume, some very durable pants, and bandages around her chest and forearms, she bounded from rooftop to rooftop, feeling the wind cut against her skin as she powered through the chilly almost-winter winds and made her way to the school.
Leaping off the roof of one of the dorm buildings, potentially waking up any kids who’d decided to skip class for a nap, the buff blonde landed hard into the ground near the training facilities, double checking the campus map she’d gotten on her phone and pulling into the training area, using another from the back compared to one of the other students who’d come through a separate entrance.
“Ah f-great.” She spoke, trying to cut her swearing habit if she was gonna be here as a teacher’s aid for a few days. “Glad I got the right room. So sorry for running late dude I had a stake out last night and ended up sleeping through my first alarm. So sorry man.” Not even needing to catch her breath even after rushing across the city, Mia’s eyes glanced to the rest of the room and eyes widened as she spotted only one student, but *DAMN* what a student! Mia immediately strode across the room, realizing as she got closer that the crocodile was actually taller than her, but all the more impressed because of it. Her forward personality shining through she slammed one of her hands around one of the reptilian girl’s and slammed her other hand into the back of it in a firm greeting.
“I’m gonna bet, heck, HOPE you’re one of the kids I’m gonna be teaching!” She had a nice wide grin on her lips, tusks showing prominently as she held the reptillian’s hand. “I’m sure Glovebox will introduce me in a sec when the rest o’ your class shows up, but gotta say if they’ve got a beast like you in their numbers I’m already impressed!”
She wouldn’t show favouritism of course, all quirks of every kind amazed her, and she’d show as much to any other students showing up, though she’d also calm down if Glovebox told her to. Still, this girl was *DEFINITELY* a strong first impression. A beastly quirk quite like her own, and heck this girl was even bigger. She almost wanted to challenge her to a fight on the spot to see what she could do, but quickly thought better of it, tapping the back of her hand before pulling back and looking to Glovebox. “Sorry teach, I’ll turn on the professionalism once the class gets here!~”

Post by Tetsuko Shindou on Dec 6, 2018 9:08:47 GMT -4
Though Tetsuko wasn't fond of being threatened with something as cruel as essays, she couldn't deny that the topic and content of their teachers' new class was something that caught her fancy. The experienced martial artist was, naturally, drawn in by the concept of 'signature moves'. Particular techniques that they could rely on in any situation, techniques that would define them and be drawn from their own skills and experiences. Of course, the Shindou girl had seen many such moves, not only from Heroes, but from other masters back in Kashima. Those legendary wielders of the blade had all developed or expanded upon at least one or two moves that served them well in most fights. Not only that, most of them didn't even possess Quirks. They formed signature techniques reliant on their experiences and skill sets, moves that defined their legendary status as swordsmen and women.
Tetsuko strived to be the same, to forge her own signature moves that would awe other practitioners for ages to come. Particularly with her Quirk, it was practically her responsibility to meld it with her swordswomanship and develop some next-level signature moves! As a matter of fact, after her training alongside Elise in Kashima, Tetsuko had been working hard on doing just that! The young girl had already established a handful of effective and powerful signature moves, which she was keen on showing off for the class in this lesson. Tetsuko had even learned the famed Hirazuki, and learning to expand more on it, and on whatever other signature abilities she could create, sounded like something too good to pass up.
It certainly beat essays. Not to mention, they'd be having a guest Pro in too, a rare opportunity and a break from Arata's less formal teachings... Not that Tetsuko didn't respect the man and his work, but having what would hopefully be a more experienced and disciplined Hero sounded like just the thing to break up their regular classes and leave them with something worthwhile. Tetsuko could hardly wait to hone her skills and develop some more signature moves, as well as enhancing what she possessed currently. The girl was looking forward to this class so much, that she even resolved to wake up earlier than usual just to warm up!
Having told Elise to meet her there, Tetsuko was practicing her swordplay a bit before class, making sure she was in the top condition to practice her special techniques. Cutting practice and katas were had until she was satisfied with how she was performing, marveling at the progress she'd made since visiting her hometown again. Rekindling that 'origin' of hers had really done wonders, leaving her with swordsmanship beyond what she'd displayed prior. Once Tetsuko was happy with her warmup, she'd don that familiar tracksuit and head towards class, where an exciting lesson awaited!
As the Shindou girl walked towards class, she couldn't help but wonder what special moves Elise might be training as well. Tetsuko had noticed that a certain foreign master back in Kashima had taken interest in training her, so the ironblooded girl was curious to see what suitably unique moves she might be working on. Ever since then, and their various combat classes, Tetsuko had started to respect Elise as a fellow warrior, developing an interest in how she might grow in that role...
Putting her wondering aside for now, Tetsuko would be entering the training area after a short walk, having already had an early breakfast and feeling warm and ready in spite of the cold weather. Upon her entry, the Shindou girl spotted a few figures already there. Her teacher, their guest, and a new student who Tetsuko wasn't yet familiar with. Dignified and traditionally minded, as usual, Tetsuko would approach and bow to the two educators as she gave her greeting.
"Good morning, Hayashi-sensei." She'd greet before turning towards Redhorn with an equally disciplined demeanor. "Hello, Redhorn-san, I look forward to what you have to teach us today. I am Tetsuko Shindou." Lastly, Tetsuko would ease up from her bow and assume a more casual air as she turned to their new reptilian classmate... She was tall, to say the least, but otherwise, Tetsuko didn't seem to shocked. They did already have a goatman in their class, after all.
"I'm guessing you're a new student? As I said, I'm Tetsuko, it's nice to meet you!" The young hero hopeful greeted, bowing her head to the new student. Tetsuko Shindou always strived to uphold that honor she'd been taught, even around strangers, but nowadays it was less about discipline, and moreso respect. Tetsuko had come to respect her class immensely, and wanted to show them that with her samurai-like behaviour. They all shared the common goal of becoming Heroes, after all, so why not show them the respect they deserved for such noble ambitions?

In the midst of all the introductions, a pair of metallic black cat ears flicked about as new face showed itself. Yusaku hurried over to class, gluing himself to Mia's waist and would categorically refuse to leave his hug for a good while. The little metallic cat had met the blonde lady on a special occasion, and it seemed his old opinion of the oni hero did not change one bit.
Who could know how much stronger she had become? He surely felt stronger himself. He had taken her advice to heart and now his punching had dramatically improved to the point of being comparable to major circuit boxers. Not only that, but Yusaku had begun toying with the idea of letting himself being worn as armor by other teammates during combat. The small test he had done a week ago showed promising results, and might even aid him in the creation of his very own ultimate move.
"Nice to see you again Mia!" The black cat squealed, some what excited he would get to train with the pro hero again. He wondered what kind of exercise she would have them do in preparation for their task. For the time being, however, Yusaku would keep mostly to himself and near Mia.
Looking over to the other student's there, the robot spotted Tetsuko. If she had decided to join that class, Elise would come as well. He could bet his own head she would show up either sooner or later. Then there was a weird students standing there. Yusaku had never seen her before, so she might very well be a transfer or new student. She was big abd menacing. Basically just about everything needed to excite Red Horn and scare him by default. From the whole getup...she looked like any kind of stereotypical bully. He would have to keep an eye out for her just in case something bad was going to happen. If worst comes to worst, he would just jump onto Mia. She would sure keep him safe with all that power of hers.

Signature moves, they were often a traditional thing in martial arts, to the point that most said that every martial arts master had a skill that could be called well and truly their own, a technique that focused on infusing all their talent and experience into one special move. During their trip to Kashima and training under the foreign swordsmaster Gai, Elise had started to see an entirely different world when it came to combat. Martial arts were a complex something, and she was not arrogant enough to believe she had even dabbled into the surface compared to her lover Tetsuko who had been submerged in it since her birth. Martial arts were dangerous, violent and lethal but also carried a certain different side to them. She just needed to take a single glimpse at her lover to affirm this. Martial arts could also be beautiful, stylish and refined. To her Tetsuko resembled the aspect of the martial arts world quite well, the embodiment of a true knight, a warrior who had vowed her blade once more to the cause of her spoiled princess. Perhaps it was her love for Tetsuko which had started her voyage into the world of combat in earnest.
It was for that reason she had delayed a bit longer than Tetsuko in heading toward the arranged meeting location for today's lesson, seemingly busy conversing with someone on the phone. "So how has that move been going Eli-tan?" a masculine voice resounded through the connection, it was the wandering swordsmaster Gai, the foreigner who had trained both her and Tetsuko during their time in Kashima. "It's slowly progressing. I still can't pull it off accurately enough to be called a signature move, but it's getting closer." The voice on the other side of the line laughed heartily. "Haha is that so? I'm sure your 'knight' is quite proud of your development." Elise couldn't help but smile gleefully at the man's words, a slight nod of agreement being made. "Mhmm! I plan to show her a new move I been training today. Speaking of which~ Gai-sensei, were you able to get that thing I asked for?"
A momentary pause followed before the man snickered in amusement. "Of course, it's already shipped toward you~ Took me a while to find it, but now a counter question from me." The man's words had initially made her happy and excited, but when he mentioned a question of his own she heard alarm bells resound in the back of her head. "A question?" The man hummed in affirmation as he finally revealed the cause of Elise's ominous feeling. "How has your one-hit kill move been going? Did you get the chance to make Tetsu-tan become a sticky mess? Surely by now she is doing more than squirming~"
Her face turning scarlet Elise muttered softly. "I'll plead the fifth. I got to go to class now Gai-sensei, I'll call you again near Christmas~" And with their farewells said the girl turned off her phone and looked at the time. She had roughly about a twenty minutes left behind the lecture, and so the burgundy-haired lass changed into her tracksuit and started making her way over to the location.
Of course, as she arrived she could see a few people already. A foreign student with quite an impressive look, the robot cat boy Yusaku and of course, the backside of the girl who was unmistakable her lover. The lecture wasn't starting yet, so the burgundy-haired lass saw this as an excellent opportunity to come prepared for a showtime.
To some it might had been amusing to see the girl, who was wearing the red cloak Mia had given them as a memento from their meeting sneaking up like a prowling cat toward Tetsuko's back, and with a playful pounce attempted to hug her from behind. "What did Gai-sensei say about your surroundings?" Elise chimed teasingly as she playfully ran her fingertips over the stomach of her lover, enjoying the feeling of the girl's abs over the texture of her attire.
However, just as she was about to greet their homeroom teacher the sight of the horned woman before them made Elise let out a yelp, staggering backward and in comical fashion trip over the back of her cloak, a rather stylish flip making her land right upon her butt and the cloak pulled over her like she was a crimson ghost!
"Mia?!" Elise exclaimed in disbelief as she pulled the cloak upwards to peek it over her head and grinned sheepishly at her. "They didn't tell me you were the pro-hero who was invited for this lecture!" Elise stated with an excited grin before stepping back to Tetsuko's side, still looking at the tall Oni lady. "By the way~ Thank you for the gift you left for me during my time in the hospital~ Those apples were delicious~" The burgundy-haired lass chimed in response before turning toward Yusaku. "Morning Yusaku~" The girl exclaimed with a playful wave of her hand before turning toward the foreign student and greeting her with a similar waving motion. "Welcome to the B class of the hero course~ My name is Elise~ Elise von Eisenberg, a pleasure to meet you."
She turned her attention toward their homeroom teacher and grinned briefly at him. "Good morning Arata-sensei~ How are you doing? Did your injuries heal yet?" She didn't want to ask him yet about how he felt about the slander they had received about the events at the military demonstration camp, her own anger at it still too fresh to allow it to become a subject currently.
"Signature moves..." She raised a hand to her chin, pondering for a moment before clapping her hands together. "Mia~ Do you have those also? Well, at least any that are as awesome as the Mia Train~" A little reference to their previous meeting and a sheepish grin seemed to suggest that the burgundy-haired lass was in quite the good mood, and looking forward for their lecture to begin.

Alright, time to mark down who arrived. As people came in to the class, Arata had his phone up, left hand in his jacket pocket, lifting his arm, and, in turn, the jacket like a bat wing, and waved with his jacket as the first person showed up, "Hey there, just marking you down as here, and letting everyone else know to come tomorrow!" He said with a smile, strumming his thumb along the screen of his phone, lifting it in a fashion for emphasis and ticking it back down to interface with the touch screen while marking down the following as present: Noriko, Tetsuko, Yusaku and, of course Elise.
In the back of his mind, he didn't want to see Tetsuko or Elise. Not because he didn't care for them, because, he probably cared too much that he let them get hurt during the Semper Fi Hate Incident. But, he put on a brave face and tucked his phone away in to his back pocket, his right hand going straight in to his jacket pocket while he beamed a smile out to the crowd that gathered. On the phone, he sent a message to those that couldn't make it.
Alright, the gang for today is here, Elise, Tetsuko, Yusaku and Noriko will not be attending any of the other demonstrations this week. As always, you know I teach in a weird fashion, and you will only be seeing a finite amount of your peers performing special moves during this week. You'll find out next week, of course. As always, don't forget to study normally, and after this demonstration, we will have class as normal.
He made sure his jacket's hood was pulled up, and the collar of his shirt was high enough to hide all of his neck. As everyone had shown up and all got to talking among each other and asking Arata some questions, he drew his hands from his jacket pockets, holding his hands up, those dark marks on his knuckles visible, there were more than last time, as if he had developed his quirk further to the point that he was able to summon more. But, they were so small it would be hard for anyone to take notice of them. Of course, that would have to wait for the demonstration.
"Alrighty, you all seem to know Mia in some way or another. She's better known as Redhorn, and she's a huge supporter of U.A. SHe COULD have been a teacher, were she not so punch happy." He japed at Mia, folding his arms while he listed to the right, raising his eyebrows while giving her a sideways look. After saying that, he turned to Yusaku and Noriko. "Hey there, I'm sorry we haven't met yet, things have been going down, but, I'm back in full now, and I can be your teacher. According to Elise, I'm trapped in an anime to be a teacher for a bunch of goofy kids like you. You don't have to call me sensei, it makes me feel older than I am."
He certainly seemed happier than normal, but when he turned to address Elise's question, he coughed a little, pulling his hood tighter around his head, while giving her a sincere smile. "They've all cleared up." He said, declining to mention the mark that he had on his body from an incident that was not involved with Semper Fi.
"I'm just happy you and Tetsuko are better. Now then! We're going to go over Signature Moves. These are things you see all the time that professional heroes do, that characters in anime and manga do. They're the things that they shout out to the heavens as they perform them, and usually, it provides a psychological doping affect that gives you the oomph you need to push your body to deal that extra amount of damage. This class will not conclude until every last one of you has one signature move or a signature style." He said while walking back and forth, pacing in front of the crowd.
"Now, it may be hard to find something that fits your quirk, it may be impossible to find something that fits it using your quirk as is. But, the thing is, you are limited by your imagination! I want to see what all four of you can do, and then Mia and I are going to give you a little demonstration of a professional's level of a signature move!" He said, not having any signature moves to speak of himself, he was going to have to think on the fly.

Not for the first time that day, a shiver ran through Noriko’s body. Idly, she rubbed her hands together, wondering if there was any way she could alter her gym uniform to have longer sleeves to make up for the chilly weather. She had already felt herself starting slowing down a bit during the walk over. The interior of the facility was far warmer than outside, mercifully, so she didn’t have to worry about it too much while she was in here. Still, she’d have to find some way around this issue during school hours. Maybe Hayashi-sensei would let her wear a sweatshirt under her uniform if she explained her dilemma to him…
Before she could get too far into that thought another door in the area swung open as someone else entered. Glancing over to see the newcomer, Noriko inhaled sharply. It was… Red Horn?! There was certainly no mistaking the titular red horn protruding proudly from her forehead, nor that very… distinctive build. Oh wow, she was just as impressive as she did in pictures and videos (though, maybe not as bulky? Maybe it was the cameras). Then, the woman noticed Noriko, and her red eyes lit up. The massive teenager froze like a deer in headlights as the also-massive woman marched up to her (turns out they were closer in height than she’d dared to imagine) and took her hand –holy hell she was strong—with confidence she could only dream of. Only reflex saved her from a limp, lifeless handshake as her hand automatically closed around the woman’s –though that didn’t save the rest of her movements from being stiff. Behind the seemingly impenetrable curtain of hair, her eyes were wide as saucers. Red Horn had complimented her! Said she hoped that the reptilian girl would be one of the students she got to teach! Called her impressive!
To be honest, Noriko would love nothing more than to gush all over the blonde. Not only was Red Horn a Hero with a mutation-type Quirk, she was also one of the better known in the country. She was also a Quirker whose mutation made her into a veritable giant, and it was only natural for her to feel some sort of kinship with the older woman. She exuded confidence and seemed unapologetic about who she was, helpful to those who needed it, had a great smile that probably didn’t scare people off… the kind of person Noriko wished she could be, and was living proof that someone like her could be a Hero and be great at it. She tried to tell Red Horn all of that, but the words just got jumbled and stuck in her throat. Instead, all she could manage to choke out was a flat, terse, “yep”.
Dammit. Thankfully her skin was already basically pink, so when she felt her face heat up in a flush of embarrassment she was sure that it would go unnoticed by the less observant eye.
As much as she wanted to curl up into a ball and disappear forever, though, that would have to wait as the door opened once more and in walked another, shorter young woman, this one definitely a classmate of hers. Noriko watched as she politely greeted both teachers and introduced herself to them, fully expecting to receive nothing more than a glance or a forced nod like most people did. Instead, Shindou-san turned to her and greeted her with the exact same amount of enthusiasm. Taken slightly aback, she gave a nod and grunted “Noriko Wanizuka” in response. She wanted to say something along the lines of “thank you, I hope we can learn to be great heroes together”, but after Red Horn she didn’t really trust herself to speak too much.
Then another student came, this one instantly clinging to Red Horn and addressing her on what she assumed to be a first name basis (consider her jealous). This one was… a robotic cat? Noriko’s head tilted a bit. She knew from experience that Quirks could do strange things to a person’s body, but ‘robot cat’ was among the things that she’d thought impossible. But that just showed how much she had to learn, didn’t it? Guess that bode well for the rest of the school year! They didn’t introduce themselves, though, only sparing her a glance. As much as Noriko wanted to go over and give them a big hug, she couldn’t bring herself to do anything but look.
The fourth student arrived soon after. She seemed much friendlier than Robocat (whom she called Yusaku), greeting them all –apparently she was on a first name basis with Red Horn as well, and apparently Hayashi-sensei had been injured. Did it have something to do with that Semper Fi stuff that had been all over the news?— and even welcoming Noriko to class 1-B in much the same, friendly way as Shindou had. It was like those two didn’t even care about her Quirk. The reptilian girl felt her a corner of her mouth turn upwards in the smallest of smiles, and she nodded back. She couldn’t recall the last time her peers had treated her with such respect. Already U.A. seemed to be everything she’d hoped it would be.
Then Hayashi-sensei finally went into his introduction after typing out a message on his phone. Already he seemed like a more casual sort of teacher than what she was used to, which was good. Signature moves, it turned out, were exactly what she thought they were: a type of special move that was supposed to blow people away, or at least look really cool. Class wouldn’t end until they’d all come up with one of their own. But they’d all have to display their Quirks first, for everyone else to see.
Subtly, the pink-skinned girl tried to shrink into herself, make herself look smaller. Noriko was quite the reserved gal, and so would never willingly volunteer to be the first. She could only hope that Hayashi-sensei or Red Horn wouldn’t call on her first. Still, it was exciting. She was getting one step closer to becoming a Hero!

Mia’s expression dipped a little, not in a bad way, her enthusiasm on meeting the lizard girl just naturally faded a little as she got that single word choked out response. Now she didn’t think there was anything wrong with the girl of course, she just suddenly seemed extremely nervous and Mia didn’t wanna push her any further. She knew better than anyone she could maybe be a little too enthusiastic sometimes, but she’d try not to push the matter and eased her hands off of the pink one she’d clasped in her own, giving a faintly nervous smile of her own up to the titanic lizard girl and ruffling the hair on the back of her own head. “Heh, sorry, came on a bit strong huh?” She clasped her own hands together with a brief clap. “Look I’m your teach, for today at least, so if I make ya uncomfortable or anythin’ lemme know yeah? Wouldn’t want ya so uncomfortable ya can’t learn anythin’ yeah?”
Glancing to the other students as they arrived, Mia didn’t initially recognize Tetsuko in any way. The name seemed oddly familiar but not enough so that Mia could actually place it. It coulda been the name of some dipshit in the hero association for all she knew. Her eyes instead shifted to focus on Yusaku as he arrived. Damn she knew way too many kids in this school already if she could manage to get to see one in just a random class she was called in to help. “Kitty-bot!” She called, having a terrible memory for names, and while she was sure his name was Yusaku, she wasn’t confident enough to say it before someone else confirmed it. It was always embaressing to get someone’s name wrong after all.
What she didn’t expect from him was the way he rushed over and hugged her, giving a playful “oof” when he did and rubbing the top of his metal head as she let out a hearty chuckle, her nerves from potentially making pinky uncomfortable fading rapidly as she absorbed some enthusiastic energy from Yusaku’s own presence. “Hahaha! Come on kid you’re embaressin’ me!~” From the cheerful way she said that it was clear she was just joking however, though she did ease him off of her all the same. “Great to see you too kid. Hopefully we can get some cool moves outta ya before the day is done yeah? Or, well, the hour. Whatever the case!~”
Finally, the last arrival made Mia borderline blush, almost the shade of her horn. Remembering just how teasing Elise was and groaning with her head in her hands, before much like with Yusaku, breaking out into a hearty set of chuckles through her palms. “Ah crudding shiz, of COURSE you’d be in the first class I teach!~” She waved off the comment about the hospital gift with a soft smile, not about to make much comment on it, but hoping her expression provided easily enough the idea that, yeah, it was nothing, and if anything Mia would have been ashamed of herself if she hadn’t dropped by.
She then took in the red cloak she was wearing, and the way she’d pounced on the other student, grinning nice and wide, proudly flashing her slight tusks as she did and bending over to get somewhat closer to eye level with her hands roughly on her own hips. “Oooooh. So this is that special someone o’ yours huh?” She looked to Tetsuko, winked, and confidently teased both of them in one shot. “Apparently your girlfriend loves your abs.~”
Pulling back from that, and not about to sexually harass teenagers infront of another teacher, even if it was all in good nature given how much Elise could tease her back, Mia pulled back from the introductions a little, though she did answer Elise’s question. “Signature moves are a little hard to come up with when all ya do is punch shi-crap.” Crap wasn’t a curse in Japanese right? Yeah she felt she saved herself there. “But I’ve got a few tricks up my sleeve I can share.~”
Hearing Glovebox give his introductions, Mia mostly just smiled, shifting her expression as he went along, though adding small bits here and there, like a big nod at the comment of being a teacher, though giving a more serious teacher. “I wouldn’t be cut out for it anyway. I mean mad respect for you guys who chose to teach here, I just ain’t got the brains for that. No shame in admittin’ it.” She clearly didn’t have shame as she smiled through every word of that, confidently crossing her arms again and letting him continue with a few chuckles here or there.
Looking out to the kids as the introduction was done, some may have been excited to share what they can do, and already Mia was trying herself to think of something that could be impressive enough to share. She said it herself a moment ago, signature moves were not so easy for someone like here. Sure, she could shout ‘MIA SMASH’ with a punch but that didn’t make it signature. Her red eyes spotted how the pink lizard girl seemed a little nervous, and Mia held a hand up.
“Not to steal the limelight teach, but I think it might be best if we at least give the kids something to work from.” Stepping forward, she gestured as she spoke, clearly an expressive person who struggled to just remain still. “So, signature moves are everything your teacher said, but they ain’t gonna be what make a hero. Your quirks are all ALREADY your ‘signature move’. No matter how many quirks I see no two are exactly alike, and that is AMAZING, but you need to learn to take whats so unique, and use it in a way only you can…for instance…”
Mia started taking steps back to give herself some space to display even as she spoke. “I’m big, I’m strong, but I’m slow. I ain’t gonna chase someone in a foot race, so I need to learn how to use my quirk in a way unique to me to make up for that. A signature move is similar. You take what’s unique, and make it even more spectacular…so it’s no special move…but this ‘titan motion’ I’ve developed helps define me even more as a hero.”
In part she wanted to show off, but mostly she wanted to encourage the kids to realize a signature move didn’t have to be some flashy combat move, it could be something that just re-defined the limits of their quirk. “Muscles heavy…but when you’ve got so much of it…!”
She started charging towards the group of kids, her footsteps getting heavier and heavier, her head low so her horn tip was forward. The kids may have briefly gotten the impression she could just ram through them, but as her running steps started to crack the floor of the training area, she leaped over their heads with ease thanks to the heft muscle in her body, high enough she high fived one of the support beams across the ceiling and then landed on their other side, skidding to a halt with a few hops to slow her momentum, turning and gesturing with open arms.
“When you’re thinkin’ about a signature move, just remember, it ain’t always gotta be about takin’ down the bad guy. Immobolizing them, distracting them, heck, chasin’ them. EVERYTHING is fair game!!”

Post by Tetsuko Shindou on Dec 12, 2018 6:32:35 GMT -4
The large reptilian girl seemed to be the shyer sort, much like many of Tetsuko's classmates, but had at least spared Tetsuko the courtesy of her name. "A pleasure to meet you, Noriko-san" The Shindou girl would respond, dignified as ever. The young swordswoman held high standards when it came to how she conducted herself within this class, treating it no differently than as if she were back in Kashima among the swordsmen of Jikishinkage-ryuu. Content with her greetings, Tetsuko would take another glance over Red Horn. The Pro really did resemble the Japanese Oni of legend, though, seemed to be considerably less malicious. It was definitely interesting to see one of Japan’s more famous Pros in the flesh, and although her style didn’t quite appeal to Tetsuko, the swordswoman couldn’t deny great respect for the woman, finding her presence a bit awe-inspiring, if only for the sheer size of this lass.
The next person to arrive was Yusaku, who didn’t seem quite as keen for the formalities as the students before him, going as far as hugging the Pro! Tetsuko was quick to raise a brow, though it did seem he was already familiar with the muscular woman. Perhaps a fan she’d met before. Tetsuko didn’t get much time to think about it, as the next arrival would grab all her attention.
A familiar feeling embraced her from behind, Tetsuko turning her face to see Elise von Eisenberg having pounced from behind, touching her abs as usual. ”I was wondering when you were gonna turn up…” Tetsuko said casually, corners of her lips turned up in a smile at the sight of the one always at her side. The swordswoman’s eyes caught the red cloak, wondering if it was some new addition to Eli’s ‘hero suit’. It would seem more like an impediment than anything else, however, as Elise was quick to trip on it and flat on her ass.
”How did you even…” Tetsuko blurted out with a mixture of concern and surprise at the skill of the flip that had ended up with her in that position. Elise’s next words would make clear that Mia had quite the experience with other U.A. students, having met Eli before as well. Tetsuko had wondered where those apples were from, figuring it just another one of Elise’s friends… It seemed the Germanic girl had quite the habit of making connections. It also wasn’t hard to see how Mia and Elise had gotten along, as the pro hero leaned in to tease them both about Elise’s adoration for abs. ”Believe me, I know.” Tetsuko sighed with a small teasing smirk. Elise’s affection toward Tetsuko and how it manifested was so blatant that, ever since their resolutions at Kashima, the Shindou girl had found herself a bit readier to tease Eli on these facts!
There didn’t seem to be any more students coming, so their homeroom teacher began without any further delay. The explanation of ‘signature moves’ was a topic Tetsuko was already somewhat familiar with, simply by virtue of her martial arts experience, but it was still good to get a description from a Hero’s perspective. The ‘energy’ that a signature move’s name contained was something common to martial arts, similar in concept to kiai. It seemed their goal for the day was to develop at least one signature move, though Tetsuko already had quite a few, it still seemed a fair challenge to come up with a new one today, perhaps something to break her usual mould…
He passed things off to Mia, as the first of them to give a demonstration. First, however, she went over more of the basics behind them. They had to incorporate the user’s particular skillset, in her case, her strength and size. Mia had used these aspects to develop less of a single move and more of an extended ability, something about a motion? Before Tetsuko knew it, the Oni was sprinting right at them! The Shindou girl wasn’t quite sure if this was a fake-out or an impromptu lesson, so stood a little cautiously as she prepared herself to either be amazed or draw a blade. Fortunately, it was the former.
It was quite the feat, turning pure strength into momentum and eventually speed. A style of movement that relied more on bursts of motion than anything else…Was fascinating indeed. The woman explained further that special moves didn’t have to be attacks, and could incorporate any number of different things. Already, Tetsuko had a hand to her chin, thinking…
Tetsuko already had a few special sword techniques derived from her teachings back in Kashima, no less than 3 that she used quite frequently. The Shindou girl had also started to develop a few more constructs that she could reliably recreate, so far having developed 3 separate blades and even an armour technique. So far, she had plenty of purely combat techniques, so perhaps it couldn’t hurt to follow Red Horn’s example, and develop some mobility or utility special moves?
Her Tetsuoka Yoroi was a remarkably capable defence, her Yukifuri and Mamushi serving as excellent offensive tools, so what was it Tetsuko could do to add to them? It would be something she’d keep in the back of her mind as she continued to watch on for Arata’s demonstration, which she presumed would be coming next. Already, Tetsuko couldn’t wait to get to trying out her own, and hopefully leaving today with a new special move for her arsenal!

Yusaku quietly stood still in line with all the other students that had arrived for the lecture. He nodded vigorously at just about everything Mia told them about fighting moves and stuff. He voraciously devoured all the info she spat out, logging every word, pause and exclamation. So a signature move could be anything. It wasn't quite like your ultimate move or the strongest attack you can dish out, so you wouldn't need any special effects on it. Sometimes your signature move could also be your ultimate, but he did agree with Mia on function over form.
Then Mia demostrated her mettle by performing a cool flip using her strength as kind of a trampoline. Even though Yusaku's face display was projecting the same old almond shaped eyes, one could tell the amount of glee oozing out of him just by the subtle flicks of his tail or the slightest shift in posture. It took the Kitty-Bot all of his willpower just not to rushdown Mia to hug himself to her waist again.
One had to wonder if hugs were his signature move. Or maybe his signature move could be his ability to be worn by others? Nah, he needed something only he himself could do. Something just for him. He could develop more signature moves while working together with Yumi or Miyu too maybe.
When it came his own turn to show off his quirk to other people, the little bundle of excitement reverted back to the closed off shy individual most were used to see looming around Yuuei's corridors. Yusaku was known to dislike being put on the spot. Even if it had been a good while since his prank incident, Yusaku's stage fright was still at an all time high. He meekly asked for a dummy target to be placed a few inches from him and nothing else.
"Alright...so...uuuh..." He started with a barely audible tone while also staring firmly at the ground below him. "My Quirk is called Proxy. My...uuh. My mind got stuck inside this power armor chassis and so no I'm a robot."
With that he turned over to the stuffed test dummy which was just limping in front of him. He transitioned into a rather exotic looking fighting stance, a mixture between several martial arts and kickboxing. Then, his body charged up in one fluid motion as his paw balled up into a fist with said fist lighting up with electric current.
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah...TORYAH ((I have no idea how to write the Roy scream))"
The perfectly executed backhand punch sent the stuffed mannequin hard into the opposing wall, a solid smacking sound echoing in the gym before it slapped the ground where it remained motionless. The added effect of Yusaku's electricity rippling around the dummy was something Mia had already seen at work before. The effects though seemed negligible. The punch itself was solid, just the rest was sloppy mostly cause of Yu being really really embarassed and really not used to having all those eyes trained on his every move.
The cat robot dropped his stance and shuffled on the spot, sheepishly twidding his paws together. "So...yeah..uuh...this is what I can do."

Post by Elise Von Eisenberg on Dec 14, 2018 3:16:31 GMT -4
Despite the warmth in Elise's greeting toward Arata, the burgundy-haired lass had to admit she felt conflicted about their homeroom teacher. Certainly, he was friendly and an interesting person, but the girl couldn't help but wonder if he had what it took to be a teacher. A teacher needed experience and the strength to protect his students, and after the events at Semper Fi, Elise had lost a bit of faith in the skills of their teacher. Perhaps it was for that reason she was so adamant about attending this lesson, to see whether Arata would show that her concerns were unfounded, that the young man did have what it took to be a teacher. However, for the time being, it was clear that Elise von Eisenberg her focus had been elsewhere, namely the abs of her lover and the pro-hero who was here as a guest for today's lecture.
When Mia heartily announced her surprise at teaching the same class that Elise was in, the burgundy-haired lass grinned sheepishly and replied with a hint of cheerfulness in her tone. "Of course! Wouldn't want to miss a chance to be taught some tips and tricks by you~" The lass chimed from underneath her cloak while turning to look at Tetsuko who seemingly was a bit worried about her rather stylish fall. "Hehe~ It's a secret technique~" Elise chimed with a playful wink yet it seemed that today she would be on the receiving end of a pincer formation of teasing attacks, quite the effective ones also as she climbed back onto her feet and heard Mia inquire about Tetsuko's relationship with her. "Mhmm~ Tetsu is my lover~" Elise chimed with a sheepish smile, yet hearing the words that followed made her face turn a light shade of red as she muttered softly. "What can I say... it's fun to rub them while snuggling into her pillows." the burgundy-haired lass still couldn't shake off the embarrassment, but fortunately for her focus soon turned onto the subject of signature moves. The first one to address the matter was, of course, their teacher, explaining how much purpose there was in naming your techniques, a reasonable deduction that had taken some time for her to come to terms with. From a tactical perspective, as someone who was initially trained by a soldier Elise considered calling out your attack somewhat foolish, but at the same time after her training with Master Gai Elise started to acknowledge that the presence of a name could invigorate the user during the execution of that technique, and it could even intimidate a foe, but there was still something she wanted to figure out, and so she addressed Arata and Mia.
"Arata-sensei, Mia" she spoke to draw their attention for a moment. "While it is true that a name carries a lot of power, isn't there a significant risk involved with that? For example, if you become famous and people discover the nature of your 'signature move', wouldn't they be reasonably capable of preparing a counter-attack, leaving that which would have been an advantage, into a detriment for you? How do you personally deal with that problem?"
She could imagine someone like Mia would just power through that detriment, but for someone like Elise who was a very tactical fighter, having her signature moves become readable was something quite unpleasant, it was part of why she was focusing on altering her maneuvers and including more techniques into her arsenal. In the wake of Mia's performance, quite an intense performance also Elise thought for a moment on the first part of their class. They had to showcase the current level of their skills, of their abilities. As much as she wanted to showcase her capacities to the fullest by unleashing one of her secretly trained moves, she had to admit that neither the Vaters Rosenkranz or her 'surprise' for Tetsuko were completed yet, and using them right now in the presence of others might be dangerous. Perhaps something simple would be better.
When it was her turn the burgundy-haired lass raised a hand to her chin as she pondered for a moment on a signature move. Perhaps 'that' one would work for now. Having observed Yusaku's technique earlier Elise had decided on a little performance of her own, placing a single target dummy resembling a humanoid in shape behind the group before walking to the opposite and inhaling deeply as she explained herself. "It's not unusual for a villain to make their escape if things look unfavorable to them." She couldn't help but be reminded of when Thunder Shock and Nick Cross escaped yet shaking the thought from her mind continued her explanations. "Often we won't be able to avoid having civilians in the area, so I trained my ability in acrobatics to avoid endangering them."
As she spoke Elise suddenly lunged into the group's direction, a momentary splash of a pink fluid escaping from her as she transformed into a slime girl. To the group it might have been a bit of a surprise, the sheer speed the girl was dashing at was inhuman, closer to an antelope than a human being when she looked like she was about to collide straight against Arata, but instead her body made a turn to the side, rushing past him. All of a sudden Elise was face-first with Mia, and her body shrunk into the form of a blob, bouncing underneath the tall woman's legs before bouncing upwards and landing onto Tetsuko's shoulder.
It was clear that her acrobatic skills and the light weight of her body were allowing those incredibly flexible motions, and yet it was not the end of her performance as she dived underneath Noriko's legs and with a light bounce attempted to land on top of Yusaku's head. "Thanks for the lift pal~" the girl chimed playfully as she bounced even higher, seemingly ascending over the target dummy, but it was at that time she acted, the two tentacles in her hair sharpening into the form of two blades that sliced into the back of the dummy's legs, a sickening slash sound resounding as the dummy collapsed forwards onto its knees and the slime girl transformed back to normal, a downwards pointing gesture with her hand being made.
"Although my Zweifacher Schrägstrich is meant to be used differently, as you likely can see I aimed at a specific part of the dummy's legs: the tendons at the back of their leg." She paused for a moment and looked at Mia and Arata as she continued. "I lack the means currently for a gentler approach, but by severing their tendons it becomes borderline impossible for them to walk, the body uses those tendons to be able to support their legs. It's not lethal, and yet will ensure that the villain won't be able to escape. Well unless they got a doctor on their side I guess..." The girl scratched the back of her head with a sheepish smile as she turned to Yusaku. "The same applies to people who don't have a human body like Yusaku, although I do not know his internal makeup, I firmly believe that his legs are able to move due to a collection of wires and similar mechanisms which emulate the inside of a human leg. By severing a part of the necessary components to make movement possible, you disable them."
Still, there was a momentary pause as she mused softly. "But I'm not entirely confident if this can be called a 'signature move', it's just something I learned while training with Tetsu..."

Arata was listening to everyone explain their quirks, and show them off, while he considered what Mia was saying to them. Posing the whole time with his chin in his left hand, his right hand clutching his left elbow as he considered some of the aspects of signature moves and styles, followed up by what Elise said, she had a point, and he had to tackle it from a thinking standpoint. "That's just the problem with popularity, and if you make yourself a one trick pony. Sure, they can know your quirk, and learn how to counter it. But, if you learn how to use your quirk against a counter, that's a signature style right there. Conversely," he continued while walking toward everyone, spreading his arms out while the gloves from his quirk manifested, and he was able to walk up them like a staircase.
In demonstrating this, he continued on with his explanation, "You can put your focus in to learning how to use your quirk beyond what it looks like at face value. people look at mine, and they think all I can do is punch. Punching is the last thing I do with my quirk. I use it for shields, I use it for pushing, I use it for holding, I use it to be platforms. I've been learning how to fight hand to hand, and thereby increasing my usefulness as a hero. I can even do a high speed technique!" He tried to demonstrate this by having the glove he was on clutch around his feet before it spun in the air and threw him like a lawn dart.
If this were some sort of a TV show, Arata would have been thrown off screen, followed by the screen rattling and a few odds and ends flying in from the side he had flown out of. A loud crash followed by the camera panning over, focusing on a pile of gym mats where Arata had landed. Not even five seconds later, his hand stuck up out of the pile, offering a thumbs up, "Nailed it! I'm okay!" He declared while pushing his way out of the heavy mats with the use of his quirk, pushing them away with ease so that he could stand up and crack his back.
He spent too much time geeking out over his students rather than teaching them, too much time enjoying his life as a teacher in a live-in anime that he had neglected his quirk, so, he may have been a bit rusty, but, he was ready to get back in to the field and show what he could do. While rolling his head back and cracking his neck, he tucked his hands in to his jacket pockets, "Redhorn! Come on and charge at me." He said to her, as if daring her to come at him. If she did, he would show the class what it was he could really do. He hadn't gotten much practical use out of it yet, but, he was working on a theory for a new style that revolved around not showing his hand, pun intended.
He hoped Redhorn would come at him, so that he could draw his hands quickly out of his pockets and fling his arms across his chest, sending his ghostly gloves out, all six of them at once to block Mia and keep her from pushing forward, he was trying to work on the drawing speed of his hands from his pockets, so that he could practice Iai style without a blade. Maybe Tetsuko would notice, maybe Tetsuko could teach him.

She did her best to hold back a frown. It seemed that Red Horn had picked up on her hesitation; mentally, Noriko cursed herself. Why had she done that? Why hadn’t she just been more enthusiastic? Now Red Horn probably thought she was weird or something. Nodding as the ogre woman reassured her that she’d be there if Noriko ever felt uncomfortable, the pink girl vowed to never to embarrass herself in front of her idol again.
She just hoped she could keep that vow.
So it was with great attentiveness that she listened to the woman as she suggested a demonstration of her own before they showed off their powers (thank goodness), and talked a bit more about the subject of special moves. They were very similar in stature, after all, so perhaps seeing the Pro Hero’s moves would give her the inspiration she desperately needed to come up with a good special move of her own. Taking what you can do and using it in a way only you could certainly made sense, but it was in trying to figure out how to creatively use what she had where Noriko seemed to stumble.
Thankfully, Red Horn –she didn’t yet feel comfortable referring to her by her first name, even mentally— didn’t seem to have that issue, and as she came charging at them Noriko instinctively tensed. She wasn’t quite sure what the hero was doing, but an enormous woman barreling towards them like a rhino towards a threat was tough to see as anything but threatening. Though she braced herself and prepared to lunge in front of her classmates to intercept, it was ultimately unnecessary as Red Horn launched herself into the air. Time seemed to slow, and Noriko could only watch in awe as the horned woman sailed over them as though she were flying. It seemed like forever before she finally landed, skidding to a stop.
Turning raw power into speed by jumping… what a formidable idea this Titan Motion was. Maybe she could do something like that, too, eventually. And, she noted, it had nothing to do with attacking.
Yusaku, the robot cat, was next, explaining that his Quirk had actually moved his mind into a suit of power armor. She frowned, feeling a deep sympathy for her peer. It was hard to imagine what it was like to leave your body behind and be trapped in something else. It just made her want to hug him even more. That said, the power the robot suit displayed was certainly no joke. Not only was Yusaku strong, he also seemed to be able to use electricity to power himself up.
Next was Eisenberg, who had previously raised her concerns about how others might be able to counter said attacks when they could be such common knowledge. She hadn’t really thought about it, to be honest, having assumed that even if someone were to deduce what her Quirk could do she would be able to either power through it or counteract it in some way. Though, that probably wasn’t an option for many of her classmates. She dashed towards them, but this time Noriko didn’t budge. Unlike Red Horn, Eisenberg didn’t jump but instead… turned to goo?
The lizard girl watched as Eisenberg demonstrated what her goo form could do, trying to figure out how anything about it might transfer to her own skill set. Hayashi-sensei was next, using his quirk to hurl himself forward. She flinched at the racket his stunt caused (gosh, that looked like it hurt), and was relieved when he gave them a thumbs up. She looked towards Red Horn curiously as sensei called for her to charge at him. She didn’t know what the man had planned, but she was very curious nonetheless.

Watching the kids give their own impressive little displays, those that were ready to of course, Mia felt a sense of odd pride that the two kids she knew from before were the first two to display their quirks, smirking at the two of them and giving them a big thumbs up for their efforts and courage in going first, especially Yusaku. Already behind the kid she walked up to his back and slammed her hands down on his shoulders, squeezing enough that his metal body likely briefly creaked but no damage was actually done. "Nice one kid! You've really been working on that one since I last saw ya."
Looking to Elise when she had her turn, Mia of course heared the question, and looked to Arata to see if he'd answer first, then spoke herself to add to it. "Plus, ya gotta remember, these signature moves are your end game. These are the moves you use to end a situation in one swift blow. You only declare them when you *Know* its the final move you'll need against a criminal. Afterall, like you said, the power of a signature move like this is great. Fans can declare it as they pretend to be you, or it can be a sign the day is saved...but if you're silly enough to use it at the wrong time, it can be a moment of humiliation." It was a bit of brutal honesty, but honesty was needed for something like teaching she felt. Probably why she wouldn't have been a good teacher.
She chuckled loudly when Arata demonstrated his own quirk, and as he asked her to charge at him, he would get a brief 'you sure' look from the beefy Oni, who was fairly confident he couldn't hold her back, but, deciding to hold back a little herself, trying to imitate the power of a common criminal rather than herself, she rushed at him and felt the gloves wrap around some key points as they tried to hold her back, managing to push them back a few feet, but without putting her all into it she was definitely held back, grinning down at Arata infront of her before easing off and looking around to the class.
"Hopefully its clear by now a signature move or technique isn't so clean cut. It can be a finisher, or some unique way to use your quirk...Elise I wouldn't say your use is 'signature' but the technique involved is great. You've clearly been doing your research in order to win a fight with your quirk as best you can. Yusaku? I've seen the trick before but you're clearly getting better, maybe work on some way to better utilize your unique body to immobolize a foe. A lot of quirkers can fire some electrical jolt to stop someone, but you're a damn suit of armor. Ever thought about forcing someone to wear you so you can restrain 'em?" It was an obvious suggestion, but she hoped it would mean something.
Looking to the two girls yet to demonstrate their quirks, the pink lizard still seemed a little out of place. Little miss abs had Elise, this Lizard didn't seem to have an obvious friend in the class. Hoping to help her get her confidence up, Mia pounded her own chest and gestured to her with the other hand. "Signature moves can't come easy, but lets get the basics down. You." She made sure she knew who she was talking about and gestured to herself again. "Throw your best at me! Whatever your quirk has got. Give it all to me and shout your heart out. Whatever badass name for a move comes to mind!"
