Taking a book out the page of the graves | It was Monday. And Hanakuma hated Mondays, with a burning passion, and there are very few things in the world in which she hates. This dislike mainly spawned from her job, as when she's tired and her students are tired, homeroom becomes a dark and gloomy hellhole where the worst scenarios could occur. She hopes that this morning would just be normal and that she could get through the day with no issues, but that was a huge stretch.
Hana assumed she arrived pretty early, about half an hour before classes were supposed to begin. The school by this point was open but rarely did students arrive this early in the morning, mainly those who needed some extra help with some subject would schedule to come this early, but at least to her knowledge, Hanakuma wasn't expecting anybody. So on the way fro her car to the room she began to think.
"Wait... What did i have planned for the day?" Normally, she kept a planner on her so she knew what she was going to do for that day and the following days, just so she wasn't teaching something completely random that doesn't even relate to their curriculum. Upon asking this question she went digging through her handbag only to come up empty handed. She left it at home.
She sighed as she walked into her room. Guess today she was winging it.
Fucking Mondays.

Our heroes are icons that mellow with age Following rules that they once disobeyed A tired yawn left Jasmine's lips as she was in her room, brewing herself some coffee. It was still quite early in the morning when she had woken up, her muscles sore from all the fighting and training she had underwent over the weekend. Fuck, she might've overdone it a little. Or maybe it was just because it was a little too early and her body was still half-asleep. She couldn't really tell - shit hurt all around.
Groggy, the girl walked into her bathroom to freshen up and go through her morning rituals. Several minutes later she came out, her face and hair no longer a mess. Jasmine changed into her school uniform, grabbed her coffee reusable coffee cup which had still been quite hot to the touch, slung her bag over her shoulder, and left her dorm room, locking the door behind her.
The elevator music was fucking atrocious, dreary and goddamn exhausting. You know that feeling when you're tired as heck but couldn't fall asleep for the life of you? Yeah, that's the type of feeling these elevator tunes gave you. She was so happy she forgot to take her earphones out of her uniform's blazer. At least her own tunes would give her a little respite.
And so the blonde girl walked marched towards Yuuei while sipping coffee and listening to music. Aside from being a little sore and lacking sleep, the Monday could have been worse, all things considered.
It didn't take her long to reach her classroom, and when she did she smiled, barely suppressing a chuckle. Their homeroom teacher really couldn't handle mornings all that well, could she? "Mornin', teach!" Jasmine greeted with a lazy salute as she went to her seat at the back of the class. She was rather surprised that she was the first one there; normally either Rin or Yoruhi were the first ones up and around. Huh. word count: 319 || TAG: @hanakuma

Sean woke up to the sound of his alarm. The start of a new day! After getting up, brushing his teeth, eating a bowl of cereal and a glass of water, changing into his school uniform, and talking for a bit on the phone with his mom, he headed out of his dorm room. Sean passed by many students on his way to class. Most were unfamiliar to him, but a few were faces he had seen once or twice. He found the door to Class 1-A and entered the room.
To his surprise, the room was almost completely empty, save for the homeroom teacher and a classmate. He was usually one of the last people to arrive in class, seeing as he liked to take his sweet time getting to class. He didn't really rush to class this morning or anything, so he wondered where the others were. They were probably on their way to class right now, so Sean decided to not worry about it.
With a smile, Sean waved at the two people in the room and said, "Yo, good morning to you both!" He then made his way to his seat and made a mental note to himself to try to remember the names of all his classmates. At least he knew his teacher's name, but it was kind of embarrassing that he still had trouble remembering the names of everyone else. Perhaps he should make an effort to get to know his classmates. After all, it couldn't hurt to make some new friends!

Nick awoke in his dorm room at six o’ clock on the dot. He was fully dressed in his ironed-to-perfection Yuuei uniform barely a minute later. His room, likewise, was every bit as spotless as his uniform: were it not for the vast collection of alphabetically-arranged books on the shelves above his bed one would think the room had never been used at all. Those, and the English flag hanging above his desk on the opposite wall. His mother had wanted him to take it with him to Japan to remember where he came from.
When the time came, he set off from the dorms with his head held high to exude as much confidence as possible. He had been raised to believe punctuality was everything. Always be on time, hell, be earlier whenever possible. He believed it showed his dedication and determination to always be at his best.
So, he was more than a bit peeved to walk into his classroom and find that Jasmine Noir of all people had beaten him there. At least it was not Rin this time, which was his only solace. Really, Jasmine? That loudmouth yank?
Not just her, either, he realised with even more shock. Sean was there too – again, one of the last people he would have expected to beat him there. At least Sean was not that much of a loudmouth. That much.
Nick tried to let his annoyance show and kept his expression neutral as he silently took his seat at the desk to the left of Sean.

Post by Niso Konto on May 18, 2018 7:01:02 GMT -4
Up late studying a few medical text books in the hope he could learn some more useful, more heroic aspect of his quirk, Niso’s eyes had begun to drift, almost feeling like they were sinking into the bags under them. He knew he had class tomorrow, and he’d already somehow managed to sleep through the introductory rescue operations class, but he felt like if he just went a few pages more he might be able to find something that meant he wouldn’t be the pushed away freak of the class. Just one more page…okay one more. One more after that and-
KLUNK.
A few hours later the sound of his alarm blaring caravan palace music was what managed to wake him up, pulling his face up and out of the pages of his book, wiping the drool that had seeped into the pages from his cheek. How long did he even end up sleeping? Ugh. Didn’t matter. What mattered was the time now, and it looked like he’d slept through at least three of his alarms. Groaning deeply, he pushed himself away from his desk, rushing a shower to try and get his almost ‘natural’ stench off of him before hastily throwing on his uniform and dragging his ice box behind him, with a satchel across his chest carrying his usual books.
When he finally arrived in class he was surprised to see he was still one of the first, but he had booked it he guessed…either way he tried not to make much of an entrance, just keeping his head low and moving to the back of the class, sitting nearest Jasmine most likely, but also trying to keep a few seats distance. He’d have to sit next to someone eventually, but eventually didn’t have to come too soon. Odds where when people caught the scent wafting around him they wouldn’t be too inclined to sit down and make friends with him…
For now Niso just kept his head low, opened a book, and let his head naturally bob as he tried to stay awake while waiting for the other students, the ice box he’d dragged behind him resting under his desk, and right now just acting as a stool for him to prop his feet up upon.

WORDS: | 340 | TAGGED: | @winging it | NOTES: | First day of class! |
| The morning light would break through the curtains in her room as a light touch would cause Sadie to jolt awake. Sitting up groggily, she would rub her eyes and look at one who woke her even though she knew who it was. She shoot an evil glare at one of the caretakers her parents insisted go with her Japan. "Ma'am, it's time to get ready. You requested for a wake up call-"
"Yeah I know, now get the hell out of my room." The heiress would grunt, pushing herself out of bed and pass the caretaker who would let herself out of the room. Walking over to her dresser she would grimace at the uniforms, she never imagined they would be so... ugly. Normally she wouldn't be caught dead in these clothes but she swallowed her pride and change into them. She is the one who wanted to go to this school.
After a few spritz of perfume she would eat her breakfast and get into the car to be driven to U.A. At this point she wasn't allowed to drive herself for the first few days. Another one of her parents stupid restrictions. She was old enough to take care of herself but she was still forced to follow them. But the drive down would be rather uneventful and soon Sadie would be at the gates of U.A.
Getting out of the car, she wouldn't even take a look back as she entered the school grounds. Taking a quick glance at her school schedule she would work her way to the classroom listed as homeroom. Upon reaching the floor of the the class, she would hurry to the room. Once she opened the door a pungent smell shit her nose and she crinkled her nose and grimaced. She would make a bee-line to one of the windows, opening them to hopefully get some fresh air. Taking a window seat in front of some blonde girl she would try to figure out why it smelled so bad in here.
