"YEAAAH! GO DJ SKULLFACE! SKULL FACE, SKULL FACE . . ! " She cheered from atop the balcony of the upper level of the club. Her arms leaned on the railing as the lights cascaded down the room, and back up. The music was loud, but from where she was, you could easily talk without being drown out. Her own attire was no other than a skeleton bodysuit, something she had made to fit and become the theme of the club. It was the Pink Jackal, a club dedicated to heroes, and heroes in the making. Paper skull masks were handed at the door, with higher end, plastic ones sold within. People came in dressed like heroes, or their own outfits. Some were themselves, while others were dressed in cosplay. It was all good fun, and even better drinks. There was food, but it was not anything five star, but it was still enough to fill a belly. Kasey turned back around, to head into the better lit office away from the violet mood lighting. Even if her little room was safe from it all, away, silent, she wanted to be out there with everyone. Her face, hidden behind a skeleton helm that was nothing more than her own abilities. Setsuna stood beside the doorway of the office, outside of it, dressed in a fine suit. His own skeleton head revealed, something fitting to the club. He had his own hands folded and placed on the small of his back as he awaited his next order. For now, he was her servant, her butler, and later, it would be his choice of what he wanted to feast upon. It was only fair. Kasey returned to the quarters of her office, something that was more of a gloried bedroom with a jade table and a few chairs to go around it. On the table, sat a bunch of plates and meals, all prepared and ordered for the evening. Kasey sat down, eagerly waiting for her. She fidgeted with her phone. Kasey: I told the guys at the door to escort you up when you get here. So you won't get lost. Kasey: Please be careful getting here. She had bought the club with her own money, and had it written to the name of "Rena Setsuki" which was just as much as her real name as any. Her family name was lost, with Cherry with it. All she knew, was the first names the two of them were given. But she was ready for the night. A night with the idol she looked up to. The woman she cared for like no other mortal. The only one, she was really willing to die for. But also the only one she was willing to live for; Yuri. "You think she's really going to come, Suki?" Kasey asked, her back to the doorway. The creature beside it answered back. "I'm sure. She may be busy, I'm sure you are on her mind as well.""Suki?" Kasey asked again, to the horned creature. "Do you think I get attached to easily?""We all need someone to hold onto, Kasey." Setsuna answered. "Do you think she will want to hold onto me?""If she doesn't, then she will be missing out on such a great person."". . . I'm glad I have you, Setsu.""I'm glad too."~ Word Count: 563 ~ |

Yuri Kobayashi Lightning Strike - Pop Star
"Look Jimmy I don't have time right now... no... no... Well yes obviously. I know, we'll just move rehearsal to tomorrow alright? I have another engagement this evening. What? Yes I told you about this ages ago! No... JIMMY! I"ve got to go... I'm in a tunnel... Crrrsssshhhh... you're breaking up... crsssssh... Jimmy? Jimmy.... Crrrssssssh" She hung up the phone and stuffed it in her pocket with a heavy sigh escaping her lips. Damn it was her agent ever persistent! Business was picking back up and Yuri found herself busier than ever between her career and her involvement in hunting ThunderShock as a Vigilante. She could really use this break... however this was going to go.
"Just over here Albert, thanks. I'll call you when I need to be picked up." She said as she leaned forward and put her hand on the drivers shoulder kindly. She grabbed her sunglasses and put them on as the limo stopped. Albert stepped out of the car and moved to open the door for the young pop star who stepped out with a light click of her heels. Those waiting in line had turned to stare at the arrival of the limo, a few of them screaming out in excitement as they saw the blond haired pop star step out. While she wasn't in her usual attire, it was always easy to identify her. Her hair was hanging loosely behind her, golden eyes covered by the dark sunglasses. she was wearing a rather cute outfit that consisted of a short sleeved dress shirt with a pink blouse, her thighs covered hi a short matching pink skirt and her feet covered by thin black heels.
She gave a little wave to the unsuspecting fans before walking up to the bounder, giving her name and walking inside without any difficulty. She would pull out her phone at this point and open up Kasey's text, looking at the directions and heading up towards the area she had designated for them. This place was really alive with music, and the bone like masks added a mysterious touch... even when she approached the room Kasey had asked her to meet her in, she found a man standing there with a very intricate full skull on his head. If he was a body guard, how did he accurately do his job when his vision was hindered like that? She walked up to the man, giving a light wave of her hand and a smile.
"Hey there, my name is Yuri. I'm looking of Kasey?" she asked, speaking up over the loud music.

"Master Yuri, right this way." He knew her face. He knew her voice. He knew how she ate. He knew what she sounded like. He knew her height. He knew what to expect. After all, the first time they had met, he was seeing her through Kasey's eyes. And he was not one who could easily forget anyone, that made an impact with Kasey. He listened to each and every song of hers that played as they drove from site to site, job to job. He saw her face with the keychains, the shirts, the album cover art, the posters and everything else the girl collected. She was more than just Yuri's fan. She was obsessed. It was almost sickening, but he knew Kasey better than anyone. After all, he was the one that held her leash. "S'Wong 'eili ho?" she turned around, addressing Setsuna, asking him a question. It was typical to ask who he was speaking to, and perhaps in the tongue they knew, it was the safest way to ask. "YURI, WAS EVERYTHING ALRIGHT? DID ANYONE GIVE YOU PROBLEMS? I'LL FIRE THEM. i'LL KILL THEM." She turned in her seat to face the doorway where the girl would be. She swore to make the night perfect, to herself at least. She wasn't going to let anyone mess it up. That included herself, as well as Setsuna. His eyes would be fixed on the crowd that danced and moved as the music drowned and was drilled into his skull. Anyone that bothered them, he was sure to toss off the balcony... again. Maybe this time not on the boxes, maybe he'll aim for something less costly. Setsuna would bow, extending his left arm towards the room, directing the girl to enter. After all, it was an entire evening catered for them, planned by none of ther than the silver haired girl. ~ Word Count: 313 ~ |

"Master Yuri? There's no need to be so formal~ Just Yuri is fine" Yuri assured the larger 'man' as he led her into the room. Inside she saw everything decked out to the nines, with Kasey perched on one of the chairs looking rather bright eyed and... panicked. She just smiled and even chuckled as Kasey asked her if anyone had given her any trouble, and walked inside past Setsuna and towards the other girl.
"No no, no one gave me any trouble Kasey~ Hahaha don't be so worked up! We're supposed to be able to relax right?" She asked the girl as she walked up and hugged Kasey in greeting before finding herself her own chair to perch down on. It was so nice to be away from the studio for a bit, and not worrying about running around as a vigilante either... Just some girl time for her and Kasey!
"How have you been?~" She started casually, glancing back towards the door that Setsuna was now guarding. Now that she had seen him from a different angle... she wondered just what was in there after-all.

Master. Perhaps it was the change of tongue that caused him to address anyone he respected with that title. Master Gi. Master Hain. Master Sashi. Master Sato. Master Amadeus. Master Yuri. In his eyes, they were fit for Kasey's attention, even of most of them were just tools for them both to use. Some more important, more useful than the others. He pondered, explored the other titles more fitting for her, but if Kasey had taken her interest to her, to serve her, then perhaps he was not wrong. "I've been okay.. . sorry." she would tell the pop star. She was famous, important. If she disappeared, people would notice. People would miss her, including the one in front of her. She was famous, established, and perfect. Unlike Kasey, who was expendable. Sent to the front lines for Sato's dirty work. A lowly janitor. A pawn in the scheme of things, at least on the surface. SHe had everyone's strings in her hands, but if her face had changed, if she died, would anyone really care? Maybe she was important to someone's purpose, their position, their ideals, but would anyone really miss her? "I've just been really stressed, between all of the paperwork and permits we need for everything here. I had been meaning to see you sooner, but I've just been... Please forgive me." She bowed her head. Her fingers fidgeting with each other. Setsuna would turn to face the doorway, listening in, but not speaking a word. It was not his evening to be a part of. For now, he worked, then he would be free. "I hired one of the finest chefs I could get my hands on, to prepare all of this for us." she said, referring to the dishes in front of them. Between them. Not even Kasey knew what was inside. But not like it mattered. She would eat anything. ~ Word Count: 316 ~ |

Yuri Kobayashi Lightning Strike - Pop Star
"Just okay?" Yuri asked kindly as her stomach started to growl... she was sitting by so much food and the gathered scents were sending her gut into overdrive. She wanted to devour it all as fast as humanly possible... but she remained polite and waited for Kasey... this was all hers after all. Kas would then explain how she had been busy with this club, and by the sounds of it she owned the place! To that Yuri was super impressed, she never would have guessed that from her first meeting with the girl! The impression that Kas gave her then was that she was a nobody, with no true goals to improve, accepting jobs as a janitor and content with staying at the bottom. This side of Kasey though was refreshing! She loved this, and smirked a little bit with the corner of her mouth.
"Running a business must be hard, I totally get it! I've been so busy with work myself, between recordings and tapings I don't have much time for myself lately. I'm glad you asked me to come, I really needed the break, and it's really nice to hang out with you again." Who would of thought the two would get so close after a random encounter in a cafe... it barely made sense, even if Yuri were to retell the story, but that was their story, and it had only just begun. She would glance back to the food whenever Kas brought attention to it and tried not to drool.
"It all looks so delicious Kas. You didn't have to do that you know!"

Kasey simply did, what she needed to do, getting money by any means necessary. Only one had heard her speak of her real dutires to acquire wealth, and as far as anyone knew, he wasn't even real. A god, locked away in a closet within the office room, A shrine kept away at the high school, hidden in the janitor's closet. A god who was welcomed into the Ketsujo home, in Kasey's bedroom. All places for her to pray, to speak to him, to ask for his guidance. A god who asked for sacrifice, as a cost for his wish granting. The greater the wish, the higher the cost. By now, Kasey had both slain and consumed thousands of bodies. The many bits of blood and organs placed at his altars. The recent deceased would have their funds drained, as well as anyone close to them. All of their wealth, poured into hers. Their belongings seized by the company she worked for. All of it going into her pocket. A girl no one expected anything of. Even when Sato, the CEO of Ketsujo Corp had to liquidate his ownership, he had poured a fraction of his control into Kasey's own account, granting her a full forty three percent of the company. Something he did without telling her, but something she had found out soon after. In the eyes of the public, she was a monster of the worst kind, but she did it all in an effort to complete her true goal. Kasey, had suffered, and paid all of her dues for one moment, this moment. She paid for this club not to just front as a secret hero headquarters for vigilantes. No, that wasn't her plan at all. Kasey had planned to adopt, to pay and buy out every orphan and orphanage. She had planned to give all of those without a home, a home they would always have to love them. A home they could enjoy. A life, were they could be loved. A live, Kasey could protect. After all, it was all she wanted to do. "After seeing you, I'm already feeling better." She smiled to the girl. There was much they didn't know about each other. They had met a single time, and still Kasey insisted only her sound was good enough for her drives to work. Messages would be sent back and forth, but they had no time to meet, not until now. "You can call or text me any time. I'll make time for you." Kasey would tell her, only to reach out to begin to reveal the meal she had prepared. "Dig in!"And so the metal covers would be lifted and tossed to her side, only to land at the feet of her seat. All of the dishes uncovered, all of the steam, the mixed aroma to reveal that she had ordered a variety. She had paid for the finest, starting with . . . . ~ Word Count: 494 ~ OOC : Tag, you decide the food! |

Yuri Kobayashi Lightning Strike - Pop Star
Yuri couldn't help but chuckle when Kas mentioned how she was already feeling better. She wasn't sure if the girl was just trying to act flirtatious or if she meant it, either way she was absolutely adorable.
"You're really sweet Kas, hehehe. So, what have you been up to beyond running this place? Have anything fun happen like when we met? I bet random encounters like that must not happen very often?" She asked, trying to start a bit of a conversation... though when Kas pointed out that they could dig it, Yuri's face only turned into a wide smile as she nodded, bringing her hands together and thanking the other girl for the food before she would start to grab at a few morsels to bring onto her plate. A 'few' morsels to Yuri however was enough to fill about 3 plates in front of her. There were a few full sized steaks brought onto her place, dripping in a delicious smelling sauce, oysters and lobster, crab legs and a plate full of mashed potatoes. There were all kinds of foods she wasn't even sure she could name, but she was definitely going to try them!
She waited for Kas to have put some food onto her plates as well before digging in when she did so as to not seem rude... you'd think she would have learned that Kas was just as big an eater as she was from their last encounter.

It was a curious question, begging to know more about Kasey. But she stopped, only to open the dishes and trays to reveal the meal. Her hands waved over it, taking in the aroma as she revealed the prepared treat for the both of them. "I don't really have the time anymore." Was she going to tell her the truth, or was she could to play cloak and dagger? If she really liked the girl, was honesty not the best option? "I'm really just a maid." she would say to her. "I work for the CEO of Ketsujo Corp. I also do janitoral work at the hero school. It's pretty fun being around so many soon-to-be heroes." She'd smile, taking in a lobster for herself and tossing it onto the empty plate before her, and grabbing a steak in her hands, and taking a large bite out of it before holding it over her plate to continue to speak. "You'd be surprised at how much a simple job conflicts with well, moral values." Was she going to say it? Was she going to admit to her truth? Her double life? "I had even found my way to be his personal assistant. And often I'd go take care of jobs he was much too busy for. I ran into a lot of interesting folk..." Kasey, you can't. Everything you worked for. How could you be so willing to let it go, just for a girl you met one time? "Like this one business man. He was on the TV a few weeks ago. I met him in a park, and he cooked me a bird. Then, like this evil witch tried to attack us so the both of us fought back. And now, I know he's like arrested. . . but he was so nice. So like, is she really a bad guy?" Moral values. She was a killer. A murderer. She didn't see any issue in her methods, only that the corrupt were being removed from society. She lacked any moral compassion. She didn't think about the families, as she killed them too. But she had her rules, her laws, her ethics, and that was all she believed she needed to survive. "Master Kasey. I suggest refraining from speaking about Thundershock, no matter how he helped us." Setsuna would turn to face into the room, suggesting her something that sounded more like a threat. But he would turn back around to his own business, only to disappear behind the corner. Kasey would nod to his suggestion, only to take a few large bites and finish the T-bone steak, bone and all. Next she would take the claw of the lobster, and break it off, and eat it in it's entirety, shell and meat. "I wish I could meet more people like you, but it seems like everyone I run into is just a bad guy pretending to be good."Oh, the irony. ~ Word Count: 492 ~ |

Yuri Kobayashi Lightning Strike - Pop Star
Just a maid? Well a maid still worked for her money, it was just another job and if she did it well, then Kasey should be proud of that... though the more she spoke, the more Yuri began to feel her blood running cold... Ketsujo Corp? That was one of her father's allied companies wasn't it...What was his name again... she was sure she had it down in her files somewhere... Maybe Kasey would let it slip, but nope... it seemed like she knew how to keep the important bits of intel out of her casual conversation... although, that didn't stop her from bringing up a certain person she had hoped hadn't reached her too. She never said his name, but all evidence pointed to him...
And finally the doorman said it, and Yuri slowly put her steak back on the table. Her hair would fall forward as a cold look crossed Yuri's features for a moment. From what she could gather from what Kasey had just told her, she was a spy for Ketsujo Corp, infiltrated U.A for whatever reason... and what was worse was that she sounded allied to him... to her father. Did he know? Did he send her? Was all of this part of his plan to recapture her. For a moment, her hand would find the knife resting on the table, her fingers dancing on the blade for a moment before she moved her hands away from it.
"You don't just run into these bad people... Kas... Thundershock... Ketsujo Corp... are you their allies? did they... are you... Kas tell me you aren't allied with them. Tell me that he didn't send you..." She explained with some desperation in her voice. She shifted her chair back just enough that Yuri could get up and speed away if she needed to. Her eyes shifted over to Setsuna, and was already formulating a plan on how to get past him. She didn't have to hurt Kas if she did work for him, but she did need to get out of here...

Blades were sharp. Knives cut into skin. Sometimes they felt nice. Sometimes they did not. Kasey did not like now knives felt along her skin. But she did enjoy drawing blades against others. But this girl, why did her hand dance so close to the blade? Was she going to hurt her too? "I didn't run into them. they ran into me." she said, her voice drawn out, low and slowly. "I've always worked for Ketsujo, it's just only recently I learned he was the one that authorized the project that experimented on me." she told her, she wanted to tell her everything. She couldn't hide it, she needed to lay it out. "I knew he was friends with the yakuza. It's business. Where money goes, he sends me." she would admit it, to admit she was the hand that he ordered. "I can understand if you hate me. You have every right to. But-""Master Kasey. Stop talking." Setsuna ordered the girl. "Master Yuri, with all due respect, we are not here on their orders. We are here to do right, by the world that wronged us. We're the eyes for the heroes, and we've kept them all under watch." he would explain, perhaps in a way the girl never could. Kasey's hands would fall to the table, slamming her fists. She was enraged at the idea, but she needed to say it aloud. She needed to get the girl to trust her. And perhaps it was in a way only Kasey could explain. "I kill-"He would call again, interrupting her, cutting her all. "We kill villains. We're no better than they are. But we're willing to do the things heroes never could. It might not be the right way to do things, but sometimes time served in a cell isn't enough to pay for crimes." He would speak again, before standing in the doorway. Blocking it, but only to speak after. "IF you wish to turn us in, do so. We will not stop you. I will not lay a finger on you, as it is her orders. But you must understand the position we are in, and why we cannot simply stop our sins. Instead, we have chosen to embrace them. We've chosen to do the wrong things, but for good."Kasey begun to weep, thinking only of the years in her confinement. The years spent of them poking and proding her, picking at her skin, peeling it back and laying down. The tearing, the searing, the sewing. The harvesting of her organs for research. All of it was painful, and none of it she wanted to live again. ~ Word Count: 443 ~ |

Yuri Kobayashi Lightning Strike - Pop Star
"Experimented..." Yuri breathes, her hand moving away from the knife she had been so close to pick up. She was quickly making assumptions as she always did... but Kasey never once tried to hurt he, so it wouldn't be fair for Yuri to jump straight to violence. She was on edge now, sitting by the edge of her seet, her legs seeming to tremble with the desire to get out of here... She couldn't let herself come to be friends with someone who worked for Thunder, or Sato... she couldn't risk falling back into that pit.
She took a deep breath though as she listened to both Kasey and Setsuna, one clearly covering for the other who was much more emotional than the second. So she worked for Sato, that much was clear... by the sounds of it she worked with him closely, though still held him at arms length... they killed villains instead of locking them up, and weren't sent by her father. Finally she would lean forward, placing her hands on either side of her head, rubbing her temples to try and ease the headache that had been rising the moment she started to suspect her.
"I don't care that you kill villains. They deserve it, and I'm not turning you in... but you... both of you have to SWEAR you aren't working for Thundershock... If you really kill villains... then how could you stay so close to them... Setsujo Corp has their hands just as covered in blood as the Kobayashi clan. I...your chosen ethics don't bother me... but I can't let myself get close to anyone who might work for my father..." The last part she said intentionally, her eyes still full of panic as she looked between the two of them, waiting to see how that bomb shell would affect them. The more rattled they were by that fact, the more she would believe that they hadn't actually known... which alone would be more than reassuring...

Setsuna peered into the room, and if he had the skin and hair to do it, would have rose a brow. "Father? What the fuck in maker's name is.." he thought to himself, trying to piece both the mess in front of him, and the mess they had danced in. Thunder and Sato were more than business partners. But if she was his daughter, then Sashi was perhaps a friend of Yuri's? Was she too, fell to the corrupt tactics of her father for fame? no, she was just a vigilante. Something along their lives, they changed, and Yuri was the one that broke free. As Yuri placed her hands on her head, Kasey drew herself confused from it all. She listened, and while might have not drawn the same conclusions as Setsuna, had noted her words. "As of today, I am only an employee of Ketsujo Corp as Sato's assistant. I am a personal tailor to Amadeus of Robotiks Engineering. I do not work for Thundershock. but if I did, I can assure you, it will be nothing more than to spy." Kasey tried to tell her everything, but with the truth, came the possibilities she was willing to explore herself. Anything that allowed her to take over the underbelly was at her disposal. At any cost. But never at the cost of hurting the girl in front of her. "If your father is a problem..." She would say to the girl, unsure of what words should follow, she paused before continuing. "I will keep a close eye on him. And if you need be, I will claim his life, just like I will Sato's."Death. War. Chaos. They were strange things to wage against people you kept close to heart. Kasey was not someone who would shy away from such things. She was willing to risk her life, so no other heroes would have to. As she spoke, a silence fell, only for Setsuna to enter the room. Kasey would open her mouth to life another bite to her lips as the figure stood behind her. "I'm a nightmare to people. But at least now, I can choose the right people to haunt." Setsuna would reach around the girl's face as she swallowed her meal. His bone-y hand would reach into her mouth, pulling onto the top of her teeth as she looked at the girl with smile, only to close her eyes. Her teeth would fuse with his fingers, and he would absorb him just as he was spawned from her. In the matter of seconds, a pile of stitched and tailored clothing would fall upon the ground as Kasey stared back at the girl, this time alone. "Everyone has secrets. . . " Kasey said, "Some more incriminating than others."~ Word Count: 464 ~ |

Yuri Kobayashi Lightning Strike - Pop Star
She continued to rub her temple as she tried to keep herself from utterly freaking out here. Here was this girl she randomly met at a little cafe, somehow associated to two of the biggest names in the underground... Was This just one hell of a coincidence, or something staged? Judging by Setsuna's silence and Kasey's words though... it seemed that their meeting was purely coincidental.
"You understand how dangerous it is right Kas... being around those two? Are you sure you're ready to act against them... Like... you're saying you wouldn't hesitate to kill my dad, and hell if you can then that's a bonus but... Going against him is like going up against an army on your own. I just... I can't let you do that. Not alone.
If you're serious about this then... then let me help you. We can come up with a plan together to take them down, one where you don't have to be in so much danger alone. I just... I know it's weird and all but I just... can't stand the thought of you getting hurt... I couldn't stand the thought of you working for them... either. You're different Kas, and I want to protect you." She said with a renewed determination in her eyes. The panic that was there only moments ago subsided now that she wasn't thinking so irrationally. She did get up from her chair and make her way back around the table, and without warning she wrapped her arms around Kasey and hugged her tightly.
"I'm sorry I freaked out like that... I just got a little scared... forgive me..." She whispered into her ear, not caring at all about the sight that had unfolded before her. She always knew there was something... off about Kasey, and the fact that she was able to create a whole other entity, or whatever Setsuna was, just explained that.

She was the village idiot. She was the fool everyone looked at and acknowledged. None could fathom what she was really up to. The millions of yen she took home every night, just off of odd jobs, not including her actual paycheck. The other corrupt deeds, all of the lives she claimed as her own. She did not only consume bodies, but the lives and all that were apart of them. Selling their homes, all of their belongings. Donating others to various orphanages. As one life was ended, dozens of others were improved. It was just the life she lived. And in the arms of the girl, she felt no regret. All of her choices, had led her here. Lifting her own arms, she would hold her as well in equal embrace, setting her head on her shoulder. Turning to speak. "Yuri, I lived in a box, for nearly most of my life. All they did was torture me. I've watched them harvest my own organs without anything to numb the pain." she smiled, one of bliss and joy. "They kept me so close, without knowing what I was, or what they did to me. So I'm going to make Sato pay. I've already went against his own black ops. I'm all he has left to defend him." She had planned it out. Each life she picked off from the heists. Each member that went missing afterwards for their vacation, their escape. Not a trace was left. No credit cards, no home, no belongings, and no body. She was UA's janitor, and she was damn good at cleaning up messes. "I'll clean up the mess they make. I'll clean up Japan, so everyone can have a happy life. When I'm done, the only thing I'll have left to fear and hate, will be myself.
But at least, the world will be a better place. As long as they hate me, no one will ever hate a hero again." Words she lived by. Words that defined her. When she was done with everything, she was going to die. And only at the hands of her brother, Gigi would she ever allow herself to perish. ~ Word Count: 363 ~ |
