ven Kanna might feel hard pressed to tell who provoked who first - who caused the whole fistfight - not without entering philosophical and sociological discussions as to what you'd call a provocation. She'd assess the outcome exactly the same way had she stood by as a mere spectator. At the end of the day, she and some random chick had gotten into an argument, with insults flying off to either side. If she didn't start it, then she defenitely didn't do anything to stop it... The girl had the thinner skin, and at some point her hopeful boyfriend tried to intervene on her behalf. Kanna wasn't really intimidated by him any more than he was by her, and after a particularly venomous, savage insult, the guy snapped and punched her. He started the fight. She ended it. So now here she stood, walking across the hallways with a small cut in her eyebrow and an especially bloodied left hand, the result of punching something hard not once but several times. Until it stopped moving really. Kanna didn't particularly care whether or not the school would suspend her for her involvement, hopefully not considering all the bullshit that had been happening as of late with nobody batting an eyelash. At the end of the day, both her and her opponent would be fine, though she'd heal after one trip to the nurse's office, the guy might need a few extra days. Some of the bruises on her arms stung a fair bit, he did have a fair amount of power behind his punches. Opening and clenching her wrist, Kanna ignored the occasional sharp pain as the adrenaline pumping in her blood slowly faded. Assessing each and every injury, for so long as she could walk the blonde didn't really feel like she needed anybody else to help patch her up. From what she knew, their school nurse had been out of comission for a while, but even if she weren't, that would have made zero difference. Calmly, she'd waltz inside the nurse's office not really looking for medical assistence, but supplies. Anybody could wrap some bandages around her wrist, and whatever else she needed: "I need alcohol and a small bandage for my fists. Won't take long.", indeed anyone could pull that off, especially a martial artist already used to doing so to protect her wrist. She'd announce her presence as the very picture of aloof, cool distance, barely acknowledging the bleeding over her eyebrow she'd likely need help wit. Of course, she wouldn't really speak up unless someone actually addressed or intercepted her in any way. ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

Niso had came to the nurses office at a bad time it seemed. With his erm...quirk...leading him to deal with a lot of horrific scents in his work and research, Niso tended to smell really bad himself, and not always able to aquire the items needed to combat such a powerful scent at his age, especially when he tended to look even younger, Niso had aquired a line through the school nurse to get high grade de-oderizers you wouldn't find on store shelves, and several other items of medical equipment he needed to deal with corpses. A bone saw wasn't exactly something you could find in a hardware store afterall.
Of course today it seemed Miss Sequioa was busy dealing with something elsewhere, leaving Niso to sit and wait like the nervous little boy he could be when not engrossed in his research or a book. His legs swinging a little, heels scraping across the floor on each pass, just trying to pass time as he went over some thoughts in his head. How long would that dog he had refigerated last. Should he start sowing in experation dates to the corpses? If so how would he account for the accelerated decay of brief usage? So on and so forth, until someone barged into the room. Immediately Niso's head lifted, wondering if it was someone to see the nurse, but watching them and hearing their words, Niso hoisted the block shaped bag he had strapped across his chest and quickly moved between her and the shelves containing medical supplies, specifically those that could potentially act as a 'fun time' like alcohol.
"I-I'm sorry but I'm afraid M-Miss sequoia is out and s-s-she likely wouldn't like you to erm...t-t-ake her suplies like that..."
All the same his eyes naturally drifted to her wounds, wincing a little, a pointed finger as he spoke curling into his palm. "O-of course...I have some...LIGHT training-" He said, having studied medical books all his life. "If you need some immediate treatment..?"

urse Sequoia was nowhere in sight, as it happened all too often in the past few days. Understandably enough, as she still had her QED issue to recover from, and one could argue she had her fair share of competent students around ready to fill in for her. At least, so long as patients required nothing mor complex than first aid. This time around though, she all but sensed the faintest, subtlest hint of rotten meat, as if somebody had forgotten a juicy steak for a couple of days until it became, well, not so juicy. Her nose twitched almost on reflex, not so much at the smell Between his cover up and Kanna's own deodorant battling the sporty sheen of sweat on her skin, she had no way of picking out what manner of activities he'd been up to. Far more importantly, she clearly objected to him standing in her way. She recognized him, guy from her class... Niso, his name was. Even though she recognized him one hand rested on her hip impatiently as she assessed the obstacle, scanning him head to toe with a quick glace: Kid looked defenitely younger than her, a bit too mousey though. It made it all to easy for Kanna to frown into that piecing gaze of jaze, like a raptor staring into his dark eyes as if assessing where he had any business standing before her. And the conclusion came in the form of a barely audible 'hmph': "Outta the way, Niso.", she finally replied, dismissing his offer and resting her battered, tattooed left hand on his shoulder. Though not exactly violent or even forceful against someone she didn't really like or dislike; Kanna nonetheless moved him aside in a determined, inflexible fashion, gripping that left hand just a bit tighter to drive her point home, "I don't need help just to wrap my fists." She didn't often explain herself though, but considering he was classmate, she didn't really mind giving him at least that much. A lone, aloof new girl who took care of herself, few among her class actually knew Kanna, so how much the boy actually knew of her felt highly debatable. On the other hand, while Kanna had no knowledge of his actual medical skills, his posture showed no real confidence in them, and thus, no real reason to accept help on something she could do herself. Unless persuaded or interrupted more assertively in turn, the willful blonde would promptly rummage through the supplies and grab herself the alcohol and bandages she wanted... Feeling that firm grasp on his shoulder, Niso froze up a little. Unlike Kanna with himself, Niso didn't recognize her, usually keeping his head low in class and so sleep deprived from nights of studying that he relied on his recordings of classes more than his actual ability to keep his eyes open. of course he still pushed himself to take notes anyway, but it was especially hard to take in both the contents of a lesson and the faces of his classmates till he met them outside of their lessons.
"O-okay.." gulping nervously, he shifted to the side as he was pushed, feeling he might get in trouble still if he was seen on any security system just letting another student grab medical supplies from Miss Sequioa's office, rubbing his arm where she'd grasp and letting her root through the shelves to find what she needed, though as she elaborated on what she was doing, Niso raised a finger, a bit too nervous to speak for a moment, and just managing it as she began to turn away to leave.
"U-Unless you can stitch up your own face I-I think you might!" He let out, a little louder than perhaps intended thanks to his nerve. "M-might need some help...t-that is..I mean..." he swallowed his nerves and steadied his voice before trying again. "I-I can tell from here it's probably a little...d-deeper than you think..."

e relented quickly enough, offering no resistence as Kanna had her way with the supplies, opening one closet and peering through other shelves, until she eventually happened upon a plastic bottle of alcohol, somewhat easily at that, "Ah, here it is...", she mused aloud, tossing it a few inches into the air and catching it as it fell down. One down... Now where did they keep the bandages? Had to be somewhere around here. No matter, she'd found it soon enough as before long, rumbles rustles and patteres filled the air as the delinquent went through what she'd needed. At this point, she didn't really expect Niso to speak up again, let alone say anything that might have convinced her to heed his medical advice. But at that nmoment, his words brought a sympathetic sting of pain from the wound near her eyebrow, reminding her how the guy did indeed have a point. Instead of turning back to look at him, she eyed the expectant boy through the mirror before her, and the shifted her eyes to her own face, to the trickle of blood running down the left side: "Tch... That cuck nailed me harder than I thought...", clicking her tongue, the blonde assessed the damage, bending over ever so slightly, just enough to get a closer look. Turning her face left, then right, she sighed. Pivoting on one heel, she turned around and scratched her head, visibly annoyed as her eyes finally fell on Niso once more, "Mendokusee... Fine, have it your way." She doubted she'd need stitches over this but it was defenitely bigger than something she could just slap a bandaid on and not think about it again. She draped her prized red leather jacket on a nearby hanger, her hotpants and short top showing far too much of that smooth, creamy skin now decorated with bruises as well as the jet black of her tattoos... Showing only the scarcest measure of modesty, but who the hell cares about that anyway? "Well...?", she'd ask him after walking past him, raising her palms with a deadpan, not really expectant look on her face as she sunk one hip; hoping for at least some measure of confidence from the guy proposing to treat her injuries. Unless he said something, she'd walk up to and rest her palms on the nearest empty bed, raise her rump onto it in favor of the cushy seat. Despite her agreement, the next words sounded more sarcastic than anything, "What do you say doc?" ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

Seeing her realize the extent of her injury, Niso felt she got the idea to stick around for the nurse, and opened his mouth in an attempt to make it clear that that was what he had intended, but the girl didn't give his brain much time to get the words out. The moment she removed her jacket, regardless of the bruises, Niso's mind rapidly shut down as he was presented with what was, at his age, a borderline 'explicit' example of the female body, the subtle muscles of the girl catching his eye briefly and forcing blood to rush to his cheeks, turning his eyes away just as his heart pounded.
Niso wasn't exactly attracted to her persay, but his strong Genophobia extended to people who were...'free' with their body. Seeing a girl dressed so skimpily was making him want to run out of the room and slam the door behind him. The ideas running through his head were all clearly ridiculous and he knew it, so he tried to swallow his fears, but all the same there they were, forcing his chest to pound and leaving a stinging sensation behind each pulse.
Even with the loud pulsing in his ears he just barely heard her words...wait did she expect him to fix her up? He...he erm...he could do that? His father trained him in first aid and he had a lot of theoretical knowledge but..."I-I can do that..yeah!" he spoke before he could really think, forcing himself into this uncomfortable situation now and cursing at himself internally for it. He closed his eyes and turned his back to the girl, cursing through gritted teeth allowed as he started to tug out drawers looking for what he needed, getting some medical tape and a compress bandage. He briefly opened up some of the higher shelves looking for a needle and thread, given that was his specialty, but the wound wasn't all that deep, so dodging some tools that fell out when he opened a cupboard with a little too much vigor, fumbling with the things he DID need as he made his way to the bed.
"I-I erm...I have some experience but I-it could be best to wait for the nurse...?" Assuming she told him to go ahead, he'd start with her hands first since that'd be easy enough, bandaging around around the wounds in a way that was neat and clean, while also letting her fully use her hands. "You knew what you were looking for...you get like this often?"

ut of touch with her emotions as she may be, she'd all too many guys end in that fumbling mess whenever she took off her jacket and revealed how little she usually wore underneath. Her defiance towards social normals made her all too eager to stick to her comfortable choice, prefering a more liberating attire over the confines of full clothing. Though she couldn't help but roll her eyes slightly at the sight, part of this reaction came from Kanna's currently pissed, adrenaline fueled mood; courtesy of the smug pick she'd just laid out. On a different day, at the different time, it could have actually amused her. She looked at him somewhat expectantly, cocking her head, actually curious as to whether he was gonna do something or if he was really gonna just stand there gawking. To his credit, he nodded affirmatively before she had a chance to point it out, and promptly grabbed what supplies he needed to take care of it. Kanna watched him, gradually mellowing out from annoyance into a hint of curiosity, perhaps wondering what one of her class mates could do... It's always helpful to remember the names, faces and skills of people who could save your ass if you get stabbed or somethin. So when he finally walked up ready to patch up that cut, and instead reiterated his desire to wait for the nurses, Kanna clicked her tongue, annoyance coming right back with a vengeance... So... He stopped her from taking care of herself... Just to say how he couldn't actually do it? Instead of a refusal or even words of encouragement, Kanna's answer came in the form of an exhasperated raise of her eyebrow, soon followed by a disapproving frown, "You're losing your nerve now...? Fine, then gimme that." Waiting clearly wasn't an option for her. You could find hyperactive kids more patient than Kanna, especially when saw such a wait as a completely futile exercise. Clearly, Niso could either patch up her wounds like he initially suggested, or give her the supplies for her to do it. Should he decide to do it himself though, Kanna would have her damaged left hand stretched out already. The blonde barely let out so much as a wince even he applied the disinfectant and bandages, showing some of the pain threshold you'd expect from someone who'd already covered her body with tattoos at the age of seventeen: "Often huh... I guess you can say that...", she'd acknowledge, rubbing her head in a surprisingly self conscious fashion when she thought back to the amount of time she'd had to patch herself up. Thinking back to some of her worst fights, she couldn't help a contemplative look on her face as she looked at her own arms, "...They're rarely so serious that I can't fix em myself at home." Yet the occasional tiny scar marking the otherwise smooth skin on her arms hinted at how these treatments were less than skilled... ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY

"Hey!" Keeping the first aid supplies out of her reach when she tried to take them, Niso got a bit of nerve for a moment. He may have thought it best to wait for the nurse but he wasn't about to let someone treat themselves. Even when his dad did it he hated it, and that guy was a professional. Shaking his head, his eyes unusually stern, deep bags under his eyes weirdly helping him look serious, he held up what he had in his hands out of her reach on the chair she was using. "If you're gonna get patched up by someone without professional training, it's not gonna be you. I know it's simple but everyone fucks something up without realizing when they do it themselves." He placed down the items he'd be using and pulled up a stool, mumbling mostly to himself. "Who knew blinding disenfectant pain could cause someone to make a mistake..."
getting somewhat into the zone as he looked over her hands, taking them carefully, his touch mainly focused around her palm and wrist so as not to aggravate her cuts, he determined they could wait, though he could do with making sure there was no grit or anything in them. He assumed she'd been fighting another person, but these days people could be made out of rock, so it was best to make sure. He leaned up out of the stool and rather forwardly grasped the sides of her head, looking over the forehead wound she'd recieved and deciding to go with that first, grabbing a cotton swap and pouring some alcohol onto it, reaching up to start cleaning the cut first.
"Might sting a little-" he commented, oddly offhand before brushing the cotton across the wounded spot, cleaning and disinfecting it at the same time. Her comments about fixing herself at home made him sigh, shaking his head as he pulled the swab back to check the wound again. "Ya know thats an easy way to get some real hospital treatment...no matter how simple it might be a second pair of hands always helps..." it was clear he took even the most basic levels of first aid seriously, preparing a small pad, cutting it from the larger material and taping the edges of it before gently applying it to her forehead. It wasn't too serious, but it'd help soak up any excess blood better than a rough bandage, though he would do 2-3 wrappings under her hairline to help keep it steady.
"Your hands'll probably just need some light washing and then some bandages...the headwound should heal fine, though I'm no expert...if it dosn't start closing up tommorrow I might think about seeing the nurse...." He paused, remembering she came in the one time the nurse wasn't here, and briefly assuming she might not like dealing with her personally. "Course...I know how to do some light stitching if you prefer not to see her..."

ell, would you look at that... Despite the mousey vibe, Niso could actually be assertive if pressured enough. As he fiercely guarded his supplies, the blonde sighed, brushing those loose bangs away from her eyes, and finally letting that good hand come to rest upon her knee, "Knock yourself out...", she stated, letting him take the battered hand and begin examining it. Indeed, Kanna knew only the most basic of first aid, and she'd most likely do better with others than herself if she actually bothered trying. But his presence in the nurse's office as something other than a patient already suggested he'd be at least better than her. Starting with the head wound seemed prefectly reasonable though, so the blonde wound up leaning in further, resting her elbows on her knees. Enough that she might have provided a good angle into her cleavage, if she had any to speak of. Though incredibly showy and easily baring nearly every inch of tattooed skin, her skimpy white tanktop/sports bra hardly flattered her modest bust. Vaguely quizzical jade orbits would seek the nurse's gaze the whole way, though for the most part she just wanted the treatment over with. He actually had pretty good hands, she had to give him that... She'd expect a sheepish kid to be extra careful, as if he might break her or anything... "Mmm...", with no answer beyond a simple hum, scarcely betraying a single hint of pain, she calmly let him proceed with the cleaning of her wound. Didn't hurt nearly as much as getting the tattoo on her hand... Or her ribcage... Though not exactly intentional, Kanna wound up picking some pretty painful spots to get inked in, all in all contributing to her pain treshold, "You won't always have a second pair of hands though...", she shrugged, refraining from mentioning how hospitals ask too many questions for her liking, "...At least, you gotta be able to take care of yourself." Niso did offer reasonable arguments, and Kanna obviously appreciated those. A clash of opinions always interested her more than a simple 'Don't do this because reasons', which she'd often simply ignore and get on with it. She was somewhat surprised to see him go the extra mile and wrap bandages under her hairline, enough to baffle her a little: "That's a little much no...? The bandaid alone woulda been fine.", she asked, eventually yielding to the urge and scratching her temple, near the wrapping. Once he was finished though, she leaned back on her perch, propping herself up on her good arm. An injury this light wouldn't leave a mark even without stitches, so she promptly shook her head: If it just meant healing one or two days faster, it really wasn't worth the hassle. Instead, she offered her injured hand, "You already got started, so might as well go all the way." Part of her felt somewhat curious to see how well he could wrap a bandage, at least, compared to herself. This time, she'd watch closely, and hopefully remember his technique in the future... "Mmm, I suppose...it is best to do SOMETHING, but I've heard one or two too many cases where people do it themselves and get some horrible infection due to an accident so..." He shrugged, and smiled weakly, pulling his stool a little closer as he lightly took her closest hand and started to clean the scrapes on her knuckles with a dabbing cloth like before. "I dunno, if you really can't find anyone I can't recommend leaving it either, and I know people can hate hospitals so I don't have much to say...just be careful."
Even as he spoke he was clearly a little engrossed in what he was doing, grabbing the bandages again, but before he started working them around her palms, he tossed the rough fabric between his hands, pretending to think, but perhaps having a bit more of a smuggish look as he built an argument in his head. "Well lets pro-con this. Bandaids look childish, and on a motion point like your knuckles, they're probably gonna pop off very easily. 2 cons. 3 Pros to bandages are they look cool when they're not too thick, it'll probably hurt them more when you punch someone...oh, and they won't fall off."
he gave a weak smirk before continuing what he wad doing, very easily wrapping the bandages around her hands, actually making it a very thin layer so it was more-akin to sports tape while still covering her scratched points and stemming the building, the ends cut very swiftly with a single clean run of the scizzors, the process repeated with ease on the other hand too, and Niso briefly checking over his work before letting her have her hands back with a weak smile of his own.
"All good...hey erm..." He rubbed the back of his neck, his nerves returning somewhat as he let out a low sigh. "I...live on campus. If you DO need an extra pair of hands from time to time..."

ou can get by if you somewhat know what you're doing though.", added the blonde, nodding affirmatively as she let the rookie nurse take hold of her damaged hand, "But I agree, if you have no idea, might as well try to get help unless you really can't." Just like she noticed before, he had a careful, almost dainty touch, yet at the same time he knew exactly where to hold to cause as little of those painful jolts when she moved her knuckles in the wrong way. And more importantly, he knew exactly how to best wrap her damage hands far more carefully than Kanna herself ever could. As he began working, her eyes drifted down from his and onto his handiwork, watching both where and how tightly he wrapped that bandage. The blonde suffered plentiful injuries just like this one, so seeing exactly how someone like him would patch it up would serve her nicely... After all, after watching this attentively, every motion fully engraved itself into her mind, courtesy of her eiditic memory. Of course, his pros and cons amused her for no reason other than one simple misunderstanding: "Of course I didn't mean bandaids on my knuckles, come on dude.", snickered the blonde with a no nonsense look on her face - 'How stupid do you think I am' - tapping her forehead close to where the cut hid under the bandages. She'd hardly call a bandaged head cool, but the kid had a good head on his shoulders, he could easily redo his list with that little correction, without needing much more input from Kanna. Soon enough, he'd finish his handiwork, allowing the delinquent to look it over, "Not too shabby...", she appraised rolling her wrist until she confirm she'd lost no degrees of movement beyond the bare minimum acceptable, "Tight but flexible.", opening and clenching her fist, she finally looked back at Niso with a soft, vaguely pleased smirk, satisfied with the result, "Defenitely better than mine, I'll give you that much credit..." That meant very little considering Kanna's lack of any formal training, so Niso should probably take it for what it was worth. But in the end, Kanna got a better result than she expected, and now also knew one more person who could probably help out in a life or death situation, not necessarily involving her. Exhaling softly, the girl eased into her neutral mood, no longer feeling that lingering annoyance that made her want to punch people: "In any case, guess this means I owe you a coffee...", she'd state, acknowledging her instinctive belief that nobody gave anything away for free. Thus, she saw coffee as merely the simplest for of payment for help that didn't take more time and effort than a couple minutes, "I'll keep that in mind... Always good to know the people who can patch you up in a pinch." Especially the people less likely to ask too many questions; or at least not go and talk to some unpleasant authority who could do nothing but make things worse for everyone... As authority usually does. ISHY of THQ & ADOXOGRAPHY
