It was nice to finally see the quirks of some of his classmates in action, if only for a moment or two. They really had quite the ragtag bunch of misfits puttering around this field, and Alex was excited to be starting this journey with them. With three years to work on their quirks and on various skills, it would be insane to see how strong they were at the end of this process!
When the introductions ended, Alex felt a pit in his stomach when Glave-sensei explained the competition. His quirk was not suited to tag, but he would try his best anyway. His wasn’t exactly the worst for it either, as long as his shadows counted as tags. If they didn’t, it was a hopeless situation. But if they did, he could do something! Maybe not a lot, but something! As long as he was quick on his feet and played things smart and---OOOOOOOW!
Class 1-C’s President did one hell of a dirty move to begin the game by shocking everyone present, but due to the chaos it created, Alex had a golden opportunity. The electricity burst made almost everyone double over in pain and shock, which meant that their shadows covered more of the ground than usual. Alex had an opening. Kirk and Eli were the two closest ones to the boy, and as his vision momentarily blurred from the electric shock he focused his power and did a hard shove to Kirk and then Eli in quick succession. He had a feeling Kirk might recover faster than him, so he made sure to get him first. Before even checking to see if the first attack had worked, he did another attack hitting Eli first at where their legs were before the first shove.
The second he could move his entire body normally, he bolted backwards away from the group of students. ”Nice try with the trip, Eli! Maybe next time!” he shouted over his shoulder, hoping against hope that Kirk would take the bait and blame his unfortunate classmate for the sneak attack and not him. Anyone who did squats through an entire class introduction was insanely in shape, and he needed to stay as far away from that guy as possible. And Darren, fuck, where was Darren? A quick glance around saw that he was bolting after Yumi with Akio also in the area at the point farthest away from him.
Awesome. He wouldn’t have to worry about Darren for a while, and honestly Kirk and Darren were the only two he was really afraid of in this game. It wasn’t like anyone else could really do anything to him, right? Wait, there was still one student that he hadn’t exactly considered that could really ruin people’s day in this game. Ito literally had a small army of animals to tag for him, and if Alex’s shadows counted as tags then the animals definitely did. He kept running and didn’t spare a glance backwards, though, he needed to put some distance between him and the others for him to be able to use his quirk effectively.
The minute someone got in close, the best he could do is make it a double tag. He didn’t want any double tags, he wanted to play it safe and not lose insanely hard. He wasn’t going to win without a speed based quirk, but he could make sure he was solidly top 5. As long as one of the more mobile members of the class didn’t decide to fuck him over. Maybe he shouldn’t have attacked Kirk right out of the gate, the last thing he wanted was an overzealous running machine chasing him down like some sort of prey animal until he collapsed with a heart attack or something. Being chased by a musclebound Terminator was bad for anyone’s health, so hopefully it didn’t happen to him this time.

After all the dreary introductions and quirk demonstrations were finally over, Mr. Glove told the class about the game we would be playing, and that someone important was watching. Of course this being U.A. they were allowed the use of quirks. This would be Eli's first real application of his quirk, he needed to make a good impression. Whoever was watching, he was gonna blow their mind.
As soon as the game started, the never in dress code class president let out a move that shockers the majority of the class, Eli included. She then tagged poor Akio leaving her with no tags. Of course he would proceed to go after her, along with Darren. This is a good opening, whoever goes after her will be too busy thinking about getting her, they won't ffocus on protecting themselves. Eli thought, of course her could also go after the big bad herself.
Before he could finshed thinking Alex decided to use his shadow to tag him, however Eli knew that there was plenty of people to tag if he went after yumi so he proceeded to go after her instead, "That was a cheap move Alex, I'll let it slide this time but pick your enemies more widely next time."
Eli focused on making something materialize, something that wasn't too hard, but was extremely maneuverable. A small disk made of diamonds appeared in front of him, "Perfect!" he exclaimed as he jumped on his platform just barely dodging Alex's second attack. He then started rushing towards Akio, Darren, and Yumi. He caught up to Akio and reached a hand out to tag him on his head. " Poor poor Akio, racking up those tags, but at least you're a good team player." He said to Akio as he attempted to reach his head. He then proceeded to pursue Darren who wasn't too far away.

Nobody laughed. Not a single one of them laughed at his quirk. Kirk somehow felt a bit validated! Some even praised it as a useful and cool quirk, in which you could stuff a ton of plush animals! ...Okay admittedly the last one got more of a weird eyebrow raise with his smile, but that was not the point! He felt like a weight was lifted off of his back almost literally! "Man, stop it fellas! I can`t hold myself together here!" He pulled his shirt quickly back down, as he proceeded to rub the back of his neck.
However, it was everybody elses turn to show their stuff... And that little spark of pride slowly calmed down, as he indirectly started comparing his own quirk to everybody elses again. Naorus quirk was some kind of energy field based around "aura". It reminded of those shows where peoples hair changed color, so he had to be atleast somewhat strong! "Shinyyy...." He whispered aloud... Aokis quirk was propably most similar to his, as in very simple way of using it. Although he could see it being handy for a relaxing moment after a heated jog to cool something up...
Then came their class presidents turn. He really liked her style, with posing and everything attention grabbing. He could definitely trust someone like her! Yet when she activated her quirk... Well at first she just seemingly jogged away. Where was she going? Did she forget something? Kirks eyes were filled with mild befuddlement, until she shouted that she could do something as... CRACKABOOM! She seemingly erupted into a wave of some sort of electric energies, as her hair went spastic! Kirk blinked for a moment, completely stunned at the almost blinding display. That was DEFINITELY better than just a simple backpack. Although, he turned his head away quickly afterwards, as she proceeded to put her clothes back on. It was a bit rude to stare continuously at something like that...
The weird plush shouter boys, aka Ito, quirk really made it make more sense why he shouted it. He looked a like an excited kid at the teddy bear running around his feet. "That`s amazing!" For the others, well, the quirk his bro from the chat exhibited was so cool that he had outright exclaim "Cool, bro!" As he minorly clapped. In the case of the color sucking kid... he really had no idea how to react to it. It was wonky, that is for sure, but othervise he didn`t really understand the point of it... Man, that was a rude thought. Elis was simple enough though. Even Kirk knew what diamonds were!
Now, the teacher proceeded to explain what was up next... A physical quirk class. Kirk instinctively smiled and lifted his head a bit. He was all ABOUT physical activities! Although it switched into a mild look of confusion when its name was released. Oni tag? He had never played that before... normal tag sure... Luckily the teacher immediately proceeded to explain it so he just nodded in understanding, with his finger on his chin. He just simply had to make sure He had touched someone last! And with his weight, it should be easy to knock someone over. It seemed atleast easy! Although, like the teacher said... they had way better quirks for knocking him down... And almost like a final distraction, the teacher went and said that somebody was watching them. "Who?" Was the only thing he got out of his mouth...
Before Yumi took her chance to start the game with a shock attack that made kirks hair stand on its end. "BRZT!" He pronounced as he gained back his posture... Guess the match of Oni-tag had started! And immediately somebody tried to bump him down by shoving him into the chest. Because of the sudden attack, he moved his leg a step backwards, but othervise was still standing. "Dangit!" Already behind... Who the heck pushed him?!
Alexander proceeded to shout that it was eli, the diamond dude trying to knock em over. Absolutely rude, but he was the one who had been stunned so it was fair game sadly... However, his eyes moved over to Alex himself, who was now running away. Eli himself jumped on a diamond disk to fly over to other tags... sadly Kirk couldn`t fly, but RUN he could! So he took off running in Alexanders direction, With the determination of a boar chasing a walking turnip! However, instead of just trying to tackle him, he seemed to take an extra burst of speed, prepared his back... And slid with his Leg in front like trying to get to the final base in baseball game, trying to in the process kick alexanders leg so he would fall over. Afterwards, he slammed the muscly bag on his back against the ground, to bounce himself back to standing and continue running. Whether to continue chasing his target, or to run away victorious from him round the grassfield! "WHOOVEE, Thats a workout coming along!"

Sometimes the only pay-off for having any faith Is when it's tested again and again everyday I'm still comparing your past to my future It might be your wound but they're my sutures As soon as his Aura was out in display, his strung nerves were easing up by the moment, which caused the obvious shift in demeanor. Still, the verbal praise from Kutsu and the comment from Darren made him look down with a frown. He didn’t do anything except letting his quirk through, so there was really no reason for saying anything. He showed nothing that warranted praise, it all sounded hollow instead of deserved. As the rest of the class continued with their introductions, Naoru kept his Aura out an about, and watched them with interest. Hirotaka-kun seemed to be more of an intellectual type for his quiet and synergistic nature, and his quirk seemed to have the effect of two different end of the spectrum with controlling temperature. Tasukai-san, on the other hand, was as energetic as Naoru originally met her, and he found her quirk extremely fitting for her personality. Generating electricity was powerful and destructive, so in any fight, Yumi would probably be able to subdue villains with ease in the future. Ito-kun was someone Naoru already knew, including his quirk as he had seen it on various occasions before, though not in full display. The boy could even make it seem flashy as he brought his plushies to life, and that really must have earned some respect from his classmates. Naoru picked up the teddy bear that was climbing his leg and held it close, just like he did with Pineapple Bun when the two of them first met. The person calling herself Risaka-san was someone completely new for him. The grayscale gloomy atmosphere was starkly alienating her from her classmates. What more, the display of her quirk told them about as much as Naoru’s own show did – only gave a glimpse to the basics, but told nothing of the usage itself. It made him extremely curious, but somewhat vary at the same time. Maybe it was lucky Naoru barely had color himself with the pale complexion and the white Aura. Daimon-kun was another person Naoru had the luck to meet beforehand, though he had yet to experience what his quirk was. Using energy to gain momentum was a double-edged sword in Naoru’s eyes. While it could help speed and agility, controlling it must have been difficult, making maneuverability a problem. Not to mention what effects it must have on the body itself. Still, this quirk would make Darren the perfect striker, when used right. Seemingly observant but somewhat absentminded, Bantis-kun was another addition to the class that Naoru had not yet known. He seemed to keep his own introduction short and on point, showing off just enough so his classmates could start calculating on his abilities. Diamond was one of the known hardest natural minerals of earth, but at the same time, one well-aimed and timed attack could smash it to pieces. Used well, Naoru imagined it to be used in various situations, and specifically not in fights. He was so immersed in the things his classmates were saying that he barely noticed he was still holding the teddy bear close. He placed it gently on the ground to see it waddle around some more as he turned to the now talking Glave-sensei. He fully expected the class to be more than just introductions, so there was no surprise when they were told to have a little game of Oni Tag. Being the oldest among three siblings, having a younger brother and sister, Naoru was fully aware of the rules of the game, also conscious of what it can turn into when a bunch of teenagers could use their quirks freely in order to win. The specifications to the rules were good in this case, and the need to knock others off-balance for a tag to be effective made it so that speedy students weren’t completely at an advantage. Still, just by observing his classmates during their introductions, Naoru already assumed that about 3 of them would act as soon as the game started, and so, he got ready himself. When the last words of their teacher died out and he heard Yumi speak up, Naoru’s Aura flared up automatically to cover his body with a blanket of shroud. He would not wait for either of his classmates to start an attack, instead, he upped his defenses right away. A tag would only work if he was knocked off balance, but with his Aura active, he won’t make it easy for anyone to do. The people he expected to act the fastest were Darren and Yumi. His expectation was partially right, and when their class president let a blast of electricity lose and he felt the sting of lightning through the lowered sensitivity of his quirk, Naoru wasn’t surprised. Sparks flew around himself, and while his limbs felt numb from the aftershock, his Aura was still able to act. He was dazed from the attack, but as the students around him were more focused on each other, Naoru decided to withdraw to take a look at the “battlefield”. Forming ropes from the ethereal substance around him was easy as a pie, and by grabbing onto the branches of two nearby trees, he pulled himself up into the air. He released the branches as soon as he was high enough, and the few moments he stopped in mid-air were enough to gather information. Yumi, Akio and Darren seemed to be busy with their own spar. On the other side, Alex attempted a surprise attack on Kirk and Eli, which the later abandoned to join the first group of classmates in the game of tag. From above, it was easy to see how the game was going, and also easy to see who was yet separated from the group. Kutsu and Risaka. To take in and process all this information was only a moment, and as his freefalling ended and he was back on the ground, he leaped toward the separated pair right away. It was his luck that no one seemed to be concerned enough about his quirk to target him, so Naoru was picking his target while keeping an eye on the rest of the people. As soon as he was between Risaka and Kutsu to their side, closing an imaginary triangle with their bodies, his mutated left arm and the shroud surrounding his body reached out with the force of a human body’s tackle towards them. He was careful about Kutsu’s plushies as he knew they could do more than just to move around, and he was extremely cautious of Risaka’s green arm, attempting his attack from her other side purposefully. The white substance that made up his quirk covered a wide area about waist-height, to make dodging that much harder. He wanted to push both of them, but of course, whichever would take the hit fist would be the one to also take the “Tag!” He didn’t wait for the other two to retaliate – he was already distancing himself from them, circling the group to pay closer attention to surroundings. To make himself less open of a target, his Aura was flowing about one and half a meter around his body, still connected to his upper torso and arms, much like a shredded cape but fully controlled by its wearer. This way, he would be able to feel whoever was approaching him ready to attempt a hit. He wasn’t worried about others touching his Aura and calling a tag, as it required to make him off-balanced too. His smile was playful, showing that he was considering this all to be a game. Still, that didn’t mean he would provide others with an easy win. The students certainly seemed to give a show to the other person watching them. words: 1295
Summ: 1) Was hit by Yumi, of course, but recovered quickly and pulled himself above the battleground to have a better look. 2) Attempted to tackle both Kutsu and Risaka with his Aura, giving the tag for whichever was off-balanced first. 3) Now just carefully circling around.
Okay guys, this can get rowdy quickly, so let us establish that everyone gets a post every turn, but there is no set posting order so to make it a bit quicker to manage. However, it would be best to check on discord if someone is writing a post while you do, to avoid cross-posting each other. HAVE FUN!

So many words yet so little meaning, to ehr at least, Risaka was growing impatient with all the introductary, and if someone inspected her thoroughly they could notice her irritated side clear as day. But being told that someone important was watching made her give a curious stare around the field, was this person truly important to be watching in the hiding? She felt like going around to find this person, but when Oni Tag was brought up she stunned silently inside her head and already knew what was going to happen. Usually any game of tag required speed, agility and mobility to get the desired goal. Luckily for her, this entire field of bright green grass, was her big weapon. Letting Glave explain the rules she had plans on using the colours she had already absorbed during introduction.
But with widened eyes she got truly caught off guard, she just thought this Yumi girl was gonna make a small speech, but it ended up with a large zap across the group. It was electrifying, but she truly despited such cheap tricks. Forcing Risaka to tense her legs up to avoid falling made the grayscaled girl angered, last thing she wants is to get totally played out by everyone in class.
Seeing as the Aura user was dashing towards her and the dollmaker Risaka immeditaly plasted her light green fused arm down to her legs, making both of her forelegs green which allowed her to give herself a clutch boost of speed before impact from the aura. Maybe Naoru didn't notice, but Risaka had dashed away, just barely, but the fact she could use the enterity of the grass field for agility boosts gave her a clear motive in this game, not that she'd enjoy this, she only took it serious due to someone watching.
Looking more around everyone had their own targets and preys, it was a bit of a chaos, but if she wanted a win she needed to use a little secret of hers. Once more she planted her hand down at the grass and absorbed the bright green once more. ''To think another cheap trick was about to land on me, I will show them just how effective my Quirk can get...'' She knew very well her introduction barely gave any context, she weren't surprised by their underestimation, but there was a good reason for why she held so much to herself, info is key. And right now dodging people as much as possibly was the only way to go, and so she began to sprint further away from the group, with her agility boosted arms ready for use.
Recovered from the shock with enough time to react against Naoru. Dashed to the right away from Naoru, spent that post's worth of absorbtion 1/3 Prepared another boost for next post.

phantom grip Brrriiing! Brrriiiiiing!
The alarm of her phone sounded off, Mira all tucked in her bed, comfortably so. Very much comfortably so, actually. It was not that the alarm only started sounding off now, no. It was already making the same noise for at least a good couple of minutes. Eventually, with whatever dream she was having ending, one which apparently had brought a smile to her face, the young Yuugami abruptly launched her entire torso forwards, instantly sitting up on the bed.
"A-Ah!"
It startled her a good bit. And as she reached for her phone which was by the cupboard placed in front of the front of her bed, she picked it up and looked at it, attempting to discern just what time it was through her groggy eyes. Mira already had a feeling that she was late. Very late, matter of fact. And as a single arm comes to caress and rub her brown optics, she finally noticed.
"I... I'M LATE!"
Quickly, she hopped out of her bed, not even putting on her slippers and jetting straight to the bedroom. There, she took a very cold and quick shower, just to wake her up. She was only growing later and later the more she spent time preparing herself. But no one could blame her. It was going to be her first class as the new 1-C kid. Or as people normally call those who are newcomers to a class. Either way, Mira had to look at least properly presentable.
A considerable amount of time had passed, the girl sprinting out of the changing room and dashing straight to the main grounds of the school. She wore her gym uniform, as per requested, alongside her signature white gloves.
Her first sight was quite the not expected one. "Woah..." Mira was taken back for that moment, almost freezing, continuing to calmly step in the direction of the scene which stood right ahead of her, even if still some distance away. Her supposed classmates were going wild, apparently playing some sort of game, most likely as a desired exercise. She was truly late.
Eventually, she spotted the only one who didn't move much, the one who looked the most mature out of all the others. The one who obviously wasn't wearing the same uniform as the others. That had to be the teacher. "Sensei!" She yelled out, jogging Cian's way, and ultimately halting besides him, panting somewhat heavily. She was in a rush, from home to school, and then to where she ended up. Obviously the teen would be exhausted. "I-I apologize for my lateness, sensei... Can I still attend the class?" Mira innocently inquired, a brown gaze set up on the man's own, almost yellowish with the light of the environment.
This was already a bad impression, wasn't it?

i wonder how many wishes a star can give As the next student, Risa, followed up with a demonstration of her abilities, he couldn't help but gape as the grassy hue faded from the ground to her limbs. Who knew even the colors in this world could be affected. To his disappointment, she opted to hold her cards close to her chest, leaving him to wonder what could possibly result from this exchange. He glanced swiftly and anxiously at his plush toys brushing past her and hoped she was merciful enough to not take their brightness away. So much time was spent coordinating their color schemes, and to undo that work would be too cruel. Thankfully, his fluffy friends were ignored, and Darren's commentary triggered the start of his turn. The subtle crackling that surrounded the blonde struck a moment of panic through Kutsu, who feared for another impromptu electricity show. Instead, the subject leapt onto his feet, pushed by violations of physical laws. The young puppeteer let out low and drawn out wow to signal he ate the onion that was Darren's inflated showboating. At last, the student called Eli conjured a jewel out of thin air. His skill sounded incredibly profitable, so it was impressively noble of him to use it to fight, not fuel, evil. Another familiar face to file away in his mental records. And with that, they officially completed the round of introductions. Their class seemed the most mysterious out of the freshman year cohorts, which initially saddened him when lingering awkwardness floated between them all. But thanks to this icebreaker activity, a warm, fuzzy feeling swelled inside his heart at the thought of everyone finally relaxing around one another. Instructor Glave seemed to appreciate what they had to offer, enough to allow them more time outside the clutches of traditional academia. Tag. The childhood game that occupied so much of his early years. He felt his fingers twitch and gazed impatiently as their class president decided to hit them over the head with a speech. Like a fool, he gave her his full attention, eyes wide and curious. “Yowch!” he shrieked as sparks flew. The unpleasant kind, sadly. His previous tingle of excitement was totally usurped by the lingering shock coursing through his body. Shouts and rapid movements erupted around him, but his brain couldn’t process them quite yet. The ringing in his ears had to die down first. His vision oscillated up and down and side to side before settling over a white figure, drawing closer, swooping quickly, until it filled his view. "Naoru?"Aaand he was down. He shook his head, finally clearing up after being mildly electrocuted and pushed over. Looking up, he saw his classmates bounding across the open field in a whirlwind of bloodlust and adrenaline. The boy doubled over and erupted into laughter. This was the best way to start a game. No mercy. Confidence rising, he stretched out his arms and angled them downward. "Autobears, roll out!" At his beckon, the miniature forest creatures raced back to him, using his extended limbs as a bridge to his shoulders. He hoisted himself back onto his feet and ran straight for his aggressor, his friend the cataclysmic cumulus cloud. He'd never interacted directly with aura before, but that didn't stop him from plucking two of his sidekicks and launching them at the white-haired boy. "Go for the face, Clementine!" The orange-tinted bear landed in the aura with a fwoomp, flailing her legs, scrambling toward the user's eyes to obscure his sight. Her partner hit the earth outside the shroud's range. "Nectarine, bring'em down!" With his speedy paws, the little soldier colored peach dashed past his enemy and skidded to a halt in front of Naoru. He braced himself as aura washed over him, trying to uplift him off the ground. But the bear held steady and latched onto the boy's incoming right leg. Nectarine climbed up to the knee before clamping his own back two paws on the fabric of Naoru's right pant leg. Struggling to keep hold, the plush toy grappled at the other pant leg with his front two paws. After securing the other side, the stuffed animal brought his paws together in an attempt to lock the boy's legs. All the while, Kutsu kept hurtling toward his target. And when the distance closed, he pounced.
Summary: starts chasing naoru and throws two bears at him. one tries to cover his eyes while the other attempts to "handcuff" his legs. then kutsu tries to tackle naoru.

MUSIC: Link TAGS: Cian Glave NOTES: I'm late, I'm late, so very, very late Kaito was running as fast as he could, hauling himself across the campus of UA at the speed of a frantic teenager. A map of the school was clutched in between his hands as he hurriedly tried to find the area he was looking for. If anyone were to pass near him, they'd hear him panting loudly, the amount of running he'd already done to get even in the general vicinity of Ground Alpha from his dorm room having taken a toll on him.
"I'm dead! I am SO dead! This is what I get for worrying so much last night so I couldn't get any sleep till super late!" This is the only thought that was running through his mind as he followed the directions on the map to where the class was supposed to be meeting today. He'd let his anxiety get the better of him last night, worrying and pondering all last night on how he was supposed to be meeting his class for the first time. As of right now, though, he didn't have the luxury of time to beat himself up too much for his actions the night prior. Kaito had to focus solely on getting to class and hopefully not getting in trouble as a result of being so late.
By the time he managed to find the entrance to the training area his gym uniform that he'd been provided with was drenched with sweat. If he was 100% certain he'd be needing to use his quirk, then he'd actually be somewhat happy about that fact, as the sweat would provide him with plenty of ammunition.
As he approached and saw what he could only assume was his classmates participating in what he had to guess what some kind of exercise/game, Kaito's eyes widened significantly behind his bangs that hid them. He was even later than he had thought. He looked frantically around for whoever must have been the teacher. He eventually managed to spot the only person who hadn't been moving, merely observing the game at hand, and appearing to be the most mature person in the area. He spotted a girl making her way up to that person, quite possibly also a late student, so he decided to follow her example and head up to the older male.
"U-ummmm.... I apologize greatly for my... tardiness, sir. Is there any way that I can still attend class? I'll accept whatever punishment necessary for being l-late."

His two tags were seconds apart, but they weren’t at the same time. Regardless of how anyone else counted it, he counted both of them in his running tally. He didn’t get the fine points of the game, but he knew he had two tags on others to zero on him so that was a fantastic start. Running away from the fray of frenzied tags was probably the best thing he could have done, and it looked like for a moment that he got away scot free until suddenly things started to go wrong.
Oh fuck. He heard the sound of footsteps behind him a moment before he was hit. He spared a look backwards, but he ended up glancing back too late to avoid the slide. Who the fuck even attacked with baseball slides? Kirk, apparently, and despite his best efforts the boy ended up trying and failing to regain his balance and falling forward on his face.
For better or for worse, spite was one of Alex’s enduring traits and instead of directing his attention to catching his fall so he wouldn’t hurt his face, he instead looked toward where Kirk was already up and running off and tried to use the shadow in front of his attacker just before he ran out of range to create what amounted to a less structurally sound cinderblock standing up vertically in order to trip the loudmouth back.
Unfortunately, Kirk was moving much faster than a lot of others might be and Alex wasn’t sure his timing was right. It was a last ditch effort, so the accuracy might not be there. The ground met the boy’s face with violent force, and for a second he just kind of lied down and processed the pain that the fall inflicted before suddenly pushing himself back up with his arms to survey the field once more. His gym uniform was dirty, now, due to the fall causing a bit of a slide that kicked up some dirt but it wasn’t the end of the world.
He couldn’t see whether he got Kirk or not, but he had to assume not. So that’s two tags for and one against, with nobody immediately near him. Going out into the fray with the others with quirks flying would be risky, and since he wasn’t exactly fast there was a huge chance that he ended up worse off than he started. He needed easy tags, and as he surveyed the field in the groups already at work he found two easy marks standing there talking to the teacher.
It was a girl and boy he didn’t really recognize, but he didn’t care at this point and did his best to memorize exactly how they were standing before he took off in a dead sprint towards the area. Not directly towards them, because that would make it extremely obvious, but just far enough away that he could use his quirk on both of them in turn while appearing to run after the group that had Ito, Naoru, and Risaka in it. If he pulled this off correctly, there was a good chance neither of the newbies would know it was him. There was a cute girl and a guy with blue hair, but the girl was closer and thus his first target. Normally he’d hesitate to do something like this, but it was her fault she was late in the first place so it wasn’t like she wasn’t asking for it.
He ran about nine meters to the left of the students talking to Glave-sensei, and as soon as he was initially in range to use his quirk he concentrated hard to use the girl’s shadow as a base to form what amounted to a hook without the sharp edge that he maneuvered sneakily around one of the girl’s feet and yanked as hard as he could manage. The girl might be cute, but all was fair in love and war. Since he had already memorized the two people’s positions, he didn’t need to look for the first one so he had more than enough plausible deniability to work with for her if she turned out to be mad about it. He’d make it up to her by giving her the thoughtful gift of his glorious presence later on. No biggie.
The guy, on the other hand, might move when the girl was surprise attacked. He turned his red gaze over to the boy to get a read on where his feet were positioned before doing the same trick to him at the last possible moment as he zipped by. It would be obvious at least to his teacher that Alex was the one who did it with the look, but with any luck neither of the students would notice and would just think he just ran on by as innocently as a student could in pursuit of other classmates. He changed the direction of his sprint as soon as he got out of range to veer away from the trio of classmates, determined to get away from the fray without actually looking like he was running away from anyone.
Sneak attacks may not be very honorable, but they did get the job done. Now he had to just avoid the rest of his class without being too obvious about it for the rest of the game and his place in the standings should be assured. He kept his path carefully away from where he thought Naoru, Ito, and Risaka might be looking and after thinking about it for a moment longer he decided discretion was the better part of valour and legged it in the opposite direction of them for a bit.
Winning was more important than pride, after all. Winning was everything, and who gave a shit if he won by being cautious instead of being an idiot and charging into the fray? A competition is a competition, and there was only the drive to the top and nothing else.
Summary:
Tagged by Kirk. Back to one tag.
Attempted tag back on Kirk, low chance of success.
Attempted sneak attack tags on Mira and Kaito, spaced several second apart while they’re talking with Glave-sensei.

Post by Melody Miro on Aug 12, 2018 6:33:31 GMT -4
Melody had arrived to the class room late, this campus was so frigging confusing and she ALWAYS got lost in it despite her having a map that clearly displays what paths she needs to take to get to where she wants to go. She bowed to Cian sensei and apologized "I'm very sorry for being late...I got lost again.." after being ushered in, it was melody's time for introductions. Melody walked to the front and introduced herself in a proper manner. "I am Melody Miro, my quirk allows me to turn my body into water." She quickly transformed in and out so that she would not waste time having to wait for her to be able to reuse it in case Cian sensei was going to give them a quirk related assignment as he usually did. Most of her classmates already knew her quirk from the chat and from the exercises already so she saw no point in really having to explain it any further, Darren knew the most about it and the other day Akio got to see what she was capable of first hand..oof she really was going to have to apologize to him soon for that..and tell him to keep what he learned to himself.
Boy and was she lucky that she used that quick transformation because now they were suddenly in a game of Oni tag, AND SHE HAD TWO STACKS OF THE TAG ON HER FOR BEING LATE, 'FUCK' she thought to herself. As soon as the game began Melody let out an ear piercing shriek as Yumi had unleashed her quirk on the entire class, luckily she hadn't transformed so she wasnt out of the game just yet, Yumi had gone and slapped Akio on the back and Darren. Melody laid there for a sec as the rest of her class ran off to start the game, it was actually useful for her to lay there for a bit cause all of a sudden the attention was off her, perfect. She transformed suddenly and rushed towards one of the students who seemed like wouldn't be able to do much with their quirk in this situation. Ito-san was the perfect target for her, his dolls would not be able to hold her slippery body back and they dont have a stack of the tag...at least melody believed so, she couldn't tell if they were actually alive for now but they looked very much alive during the slumber party.
Melody made her movements erratic while charging at him. "TAG" she yelled when she moved the majority of the water she did have to enlarge her hand and pushed her palm towards him in an attempt to knock him over with the push. (Ooc: the hand would be around the size of a chair)
Afterwards Melody would look around, she didn't have time to waste...oh? whats this? She saw Akio was chasing after big boobie and DARREN WAS GONNA TAG HIM FROM BEHIND? THAT SLEAZE BAG. Little did melody know she was 100% wrong. Melody decided to team up with Akio and help him out, after all she almost killed the boy so this was the first step towards paying him back in kindness. "Wait! Akio! behind you! Darren's gonna tag you!" she yelled out hoping he'd react in time. There was no time to think, she quickly formed a cannon from her hand and fired a small shot of water at Darren trying to throw off his trajectory. She rushed over to Akio's side and began her plea
"Listen, the easiest way to win this is by teaming up and our quirks so far are the best pairing I could think of." She began to explain to him hoping he'd hear her out. She began to try and absorb some moisture from the atmosphere so that she'd have more options as time went on. "If we let Darren do what he wants he will easily win this thing while we're stuck with our disadvantages and lose." she continued putting irrational ideas in his head for her to gain the upper hand with the icy hot pack. "We can win together, what do you say?" she asked

He heard Darren coming up from behind him, then saw him get hit with a blast of water, he couldn't focus on that though because Eli was coming up behind him. Akio felt a tag on his head as Eli feigned pity and commended him for being a good team player, Akio just smirked Guess he didn't listen to the rules, you have to knock an opponent off balance so one foot leaves the ground Akio thought to himself, he was completely balanced the whole time, meaning Eli didn't get rid of a tag, suddenly he heard Melody come up towards him, he was ready to knock her to the ground, but then she spoke to him and said their quirks are a great pairing and teaming up together would be the best way of winning this game, Darren was the biggest threat in this game, with Melody's help victory over him was possible, he nodded his head "Alright then, we're partners, we obviously need to be careful of Darren, but also there's one person I'm worried about, we have basically no information on Risaka's quirk, so if we run into her we need to be cautious, other than that I can't think of any major threats, except for maybe Kirk for the pure fact that he made it into the hero course with a quirk that is not useful in combat at all, that really says something about his physical capabilities," Akio said, thinking how they should act in this situation "Right now I need to get rid of at least one of my tags, I went after Yumi because it made sense that she'd need to recharge in some way after such a big electrical discharge, with your help I should be able to unload my tag back onto her," Akio said as he started running back towards Yumi "You can unload a tag on Eli along they want if you want or need to," Akio said as he looked back to make sure Yumi was following him

The thoughts of some of her classmates were right, Yumi certainly wasn't in a position to discharge so soon after the last electrical spark. Her body felt light and full of adrenaline but she just couldn't push another charge out of herself even if she wanted to. All she needed was a few more seconds to get her quirk back and she could fend off another tag in a pinch, but right now all she could do was keep her advantage and run run run as fast as she could. Her red hair whipping behind her, peering briefly over her shoulder and squeaking as she realized she was being chased by not one but two of her classmates. What she got for starting off hard she supposed. Darren and Akio where the most likely to get revenge so she supposed she wasn't even really surprised.
While Akio could catch up to her eventually she had a massive lead and felt if she could direct him into another group he might give up, but Darren, he was still the main guy in the game. Thing was though Yumi had been watching her classmates carefully since day one, and she knew Darren's body wasn't immune to his momentum. A sudden stop or a hard turn would rattle his internal organs enough to probably stagger him, so all she had to do to throw him off was force him to regret his current momentum!
"Hope this works...!" With likely seconds before Darren's launch caught up to her, Yumi zipped up her jacket, wanting to make sure she didn't get grass burns up her back. She took a deep breath to steal her nerves, and just as she heard Darren catching up, unaware of Melody trying to throw him off too, Yumi threw up her legs and let her body fall, bracing her arms around the back of her head so she didn't get too hurt, feeling the fabric of her clothes burn lightly against her own skin as she crashed hard on her back. Darren, if she was right, would go right overhead in his attempt to leap frog her, while Yumi hissed in pain and scrambled to her feet, trying to run towards another one of the individual tagging groups, a hard turn back towards where they'd all started but still away from Akio, forcing Darren to make an awkward turn or a sudden reversal of momentum if she was still his target.

Post by Daimon Darren on Aug 12, 2018 13:43:59 GMT -4
Daimon Darren was a heroics student with a quirk perfectly suited for the job and seemingly boundless, unwavering confidence to go with it. Darren has been a damned good delinquent and he could kick people's ass and take names all in a day's work. Naturally, perhaps naively, he assumed the same logic would apply to his budding career in professional heroics.
Darren was wrong, and very wrong so. His fellow students were strong and crafty. Probably not stronger than him, he reassured himself, but very possibly craftier.
He thought he could take his time aiming his second burst of autokinesis for the perfect leapfrog jump, so the gust of water from Melody took him by surprise as the deep blue sparks were just starting to crackle. His quirk still activated, but not in quite the direction and strength the apprentice hero wanted it to.
Having thrown himself off-trajectory and off-balance, Darren nonetheless didn't give up, desperately trying to force himself back up with small upwards activations of his quirk as he tried to go from tumbling to a sort of awkward stepping. As Yumi correctly predicted, he couldn't just cancel his dash with an opposite activation without rocking his internals organs around, and it was the bad kind of rocking too.
At the moment, Darren looked a lot like he was being pulled by a car with a rope tied around his waist and was attempting the difficult feat of staying on his feet with moderate success.
For a moment, he managed to get himself skipping on the ground going backwards, but a blade of grass wetter than the other betrayed him and caused the delinquent to fall back flat on his ass, facing the rest of the battlefield.
The surprise water bomb from the Cuban chick and his off-timing activation caused him to both miss and overshoot Yumi, going wide by at least one meter and too far by at least five more. His cold blue eyes assessed the state of a battlefield in a second. He had assessed messier delinquent brawls quicker than that.
The Cuban was teaming up with boyo. She would come to regret this, Darren swore ineffectually.
The redhead was flat on her ass as well. It took Darren a second to understand why, and when he did he smirked and gave her an approving nod. The class prez was crafty as ever. For a second, he thought of teaming up with her too, but Daimon Darren had an overinflated sense of pride in him.
He was gonna win this game and he was gonna win it alone, and he was gonna tag those two who were teaming up against him. He spied Eli behind them and had a devil’s rictus. Pincer attack it was, then.
Catching Kirk doing a baseball slide in the corner of his eye, he decided to imitate the bro and went for a sliding tackle of his own. For most people, doing a sliding tackle required them to carry momentum from a running start, but Darren wasn't most people.
Darren had his autokinesis. With a full-power blast, another one, and then a third to maintain his speed he was heading foot first for Melody’s ankle at the speed of a world-class sprinter. Just a moment earlier, he had been flat on his ass and looked as he was in no position to dash over there so quickly just a second earlier. But that would have been a gross underestimation of the power of instantaneous momentum that the blonde delinquent had been blessed with. And now, there he was, approaching the pair at a speed that most would qualify of “too damn fast.”
---
>was thrown off trajectory by Melody's attack, causing him to mess his second activation of his quirk and both overshoot and miss Yumi >sent him rolling on the grass, at which point he tried pulling himself up on his feet, almost managed to, slip and fell on his ass facing the rest of the group (essentially turned 180° when trying to catch his footing) >realizing that Akio and Melody were teaming up, he blasted towards them at full speed to attempt a football tackle (real football) on Melody's ankle, going for an unplanned pincer attack with Eli

Post by Kirk Bluster on Aug 12, 2018 16:59:10 GMT -4
For a little moment, Kirk was filled with adrenaline! He had done it! He had gotten his extra tag removed with surprising amount of ease! He was back to the starting position! ...When thought like that, it didn`t really sound too cool now, did it? However, it just meant he needed to do it again! That wouldn`t be too hard, if everybody else didn`t start flying as well...
However, as he ran forward he could see a dark shadow loom in front of him, as it suddenly started rising into a wall in front of him! And with him at these speeds, the only way to really avoid it was to jump over it! He squatted and leapt forward, like a guy jumping hurdles, and made it over with just a brief sigh of relief. "Okay... Remember, most quirks from these people are ranged..." Another reminder that his quirk was a bit on the inadequate one compared to someone creating diamond boards and shadow walls. He never liked thinking like this. It made things seem much worse than they actually were usually. He quickly needed to find another target to aim for... Now what quirks did the others have... Think think think...
There was shouting from the big group on the side, that he had avoided for obvious reasons. It was like running into a team of enemy players. None of them would like him near the goal... which in this case was the people themselves... so technically he couldn`t get close to anyone calmly... Then there were the people who had just come in near the teacher. Admittedly, he could give em a surprise attack when they weren´t even properly in the competition yet, but... that just felt dirty! Not fair whatsoever! It was clear he wouldn`t aim for them... But Alex did. Well... It was a competition. He couldn´t judge him for that.
That just left himself with couple of other options. People like him, who had just gone on their own trying for a singular target instead of grouping up against somebody else. Naoru with his shiny aura powers, Ito and his teddy bears trying to attack him... And Risaka a bit farther away seemingly just sitting around! Honestly it seemed almost like a trap! It was way too easy to go for, But he couldn`t help but feel this minor bit of readyness to jump on her! But what was her quirk? Just something about sucking the color from the ground? Perhaps she needed to stay still to do it?
He couldn`t shake the feeling that it felt too easy! No, this is not about challenge, this is about proving that you are equal! Heck, she already started moving because he didn`t do the thinking quickly enough!
He took in a breath and held it in. It was one of the ways he could keep himself from shouting and giving himself away. He leaned forward a bit, and opened his arms wide into a hug like position, with his fingers twitching. The bag on his back widened like a big sail once again, this time as wide and open as possible, like a giant net with only a single deep hole! He just had to knock her over! If she jumped or tried to just dodge to the side, he could easily smack her with his bag, or even trip her into it, and make her lose balance. And if she just stayed still...! Well, he was a big dude tackling against a smaller girl. It was pretty clear what would happen! He had the element of surprise!
Albeit, this made him a much bigger target for everybody else, but in the current moment it seemed like the most effective strategy!

The tag battle between everyone turned more and more intense as each action went by, she felt almost a bit overwhelmed by how much effort they put into to simply get points. It felt like an ease for her to be just on the sideline and avoid everyone. If she didn't get tagged once she could easily get a couple of quick ones at the very end of the game. With her light green infused arm she held it ready to whenever she needed that extra agility, especially after seeing how people began to move around eachother to get eachother, some more precise than others, but nevertheless it made her feel somewhat tired. Deep within her she felt this was a complete waste of time. She took notice of those who came late, maybe targeting them wouldn't be a bad idea, one of them in particular looked awfully shy and timid, easy to pick she could confront later.
She felt some unexpected force, a threat that was charging right at her direction. She blinked worrisome, gulping as she looked to the side while sprinting, the big muscled loudmouth with wide open arms, charging with a clear intent of pushing her down. This was exactly what she wanted to avoid, to her this was like Germophobia, but instead of microscopic bacterias this was one huge towering individual. She felt like she was in a wild bull race, and one of the bulls just so happens to see her red carpet.
She gave a mean frown, thinking she could jsut dash right by him with her speed, but with from earlier it was just an aura being wide, but when she was the center of attention it wasn't a whole lot of room she could go for. His arms was a clear intent of catching her to put her down to the ground, and with the sail at his back was another issue if she even got past him, it looked powerful enough to smack her down. But if she just took the hit she would most definitely get overpowered, but then again she was smaller and could manouver more easily, but ontop of that he was likely already prepared for what she could do from her earlier dodge against Naoru. The more the was thinking about situation the worse it just got.
''Dammit dammit! Why you out of everyone?! Why me out of everyone?! What did I do to gain your attention?!'' Inside her head was a full out rage towards Kirk, gritting her teeth she was near the edge of accepting the impact and taking the tag, but then it snapped in her head. She has only shown her Quirk on the grass, and not only that, his outfit, it was another colour! Kirk must've been brave, but she knew what he didn't know. From this info she only had one choice, and that was to overpower the muscled guy!
She stopped her sprint and fully faced towards Kirk, her pair of yellow eyes gave a sharp glare, but that glare was a sign of challenge accepted. None of his arms was going right at her body, but she couldn't focus on one of them, even if she used her Gray Arm move at him his body weight would follow up against hers. Never the less she tightened her green shaded arm, making her hand flat and force palmed it right against his stomach. It merely halted some of his force, but her own two feet was planted tight against the grass field, but slowly sliding backwards from his overall pushing. But she got the time needed to absorb the colour from his outfit, it only needed one second to get the colour into her green arm, from there her limb turned into a strenght boosted limb, when two different colours mix in her body it gives her a nice boost of strenght. She grunted from his overall much greater strenght, but she only needed her strenght infused arm to give Kirk a ig surprise. ''You went for me because you thought I was weak? Think again!'' She twisted one foot 90 degress and lowered herself down a bit, pushing her strenght boosted arm up against his large body and thrusted him over her in one motion. But rest of her body couldn't take such weight, specially with her legs twitching from the intense weight put on her. But she did what she wanted to do, make the loudmouth unable to put her down to the ground.
Risaka stopped her sprint to clash against Kirk. Used an ability named Gray Arm that lightens impacts During the short wrestling she absorbed another colour from his outfit, mixing with green it gave her the strenght boost Used her position to tower Kirk over her to the other side of her, potential tag on him Used 2/3 posts worth of colour absorbtion Her body getting fatigue from his much bigger weight
