Aeris Leon Teacher 1-A || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Don't Teach if You Can't Just after the bell for class had rang, the flat panel monitor that was used as a white board sprang to life. The scene being displayed was right in the middle of Tokyo at night. The informational scrawling on the bottom of the screen indicated what the students were watching took place just last night at 10 pm. While there were many in attendance, mostly because of the intersection being the busiest intersection in the world, only two people stood out from the footage. They two were fighting in the center of the street with traffic stopped in all directions. The first was a huge muscle bound male with steel fist. His body only covered in denim jeans and vest. His feet seemed to be two threaded screws while his head was reminiscent of a hexagonal bolt. He was throwing hands at a woman in a black two piece suit. Her cuffs on the arms and legs of her suit were flared out and slit. Her long silver hair flowing with her dance like moves as she avoided the wildly thrown mitts. That was until the fight suddenly ended. The view of the camera didn't catch what had happened, but the male was crumbling slowly to the ground at the woman's feet. The camera zoomed in enough to catch a sight of her plainly exposed face, Blue butterfly wing styled clips held behind her ears and blue make-up her only facial covering. She blew a kiss to the camera before turning to walk off.
As if on cue, the monitor powered off. The clicking of heels came from the door at the back of the class. Walking through the door was the same woman that had just been seen fighting on the screen, though now she was in a black pencil skirt. White blouse and her hair was tied back in a bun. Two butterfly adorned pins sticking through the curl. She smiled to the class as she walked to the front. The monitor switching to white board mode. She used her finger to write out, in both cursive and Katakana, Leon Aeris. She then turned in place to the class. "Bonne classe. Mon nom est Aeris Leon. I mean. Good Morning, class. My name is Aeris Leon. I am also known as Fantasy to the world at large. I will be taking over the class from here on out. I look forward to seeing each of you improve as we learn."
As she walked over to her desk, she looked to each of the students trying to take in how they reacted to this news. And then, just as suddenly as she stopped, She slid the desk all the way over to the wall just under the window. Seemingly to give her self more room. "The first thing we shall do today is to put away all those books and notepads. I trust you all to be ready to perform academically and this is a Hero School, so I shall teach you L'art du héros, or the Hero's Art." She pivoted around to sit on her desk edge and smiled. "Mademoiselle Kurama. Monsieur Igarashi. Would you two be kind enough to come to the front of the class and pick teams? These teams will be opponents or partners, depending on the lesson. How you fare compared to them is not as important as how you improve. So do help each team. Grow together."
Her arms were crossed as the two started to name off names in sequence. She was typing out the names on her tablet, sending them to a chart on the front board listing the teams off. WORD COUNT: TAGGED: TAGGED: Fluffy A new teacher had come to Yuuei. A teacher that would fit into the hole that had persisted in the teacher roster for quite some time; 1-A's homeroom teacher. Rin had been informed that Miss Aeris Leon would be be instated, as soon as she would arrive at Yuuei. It meant that, at long last, there'd be an end to the long list of substitute teachers that had temporarily filled the role. Most unsuccessful at capturing the class' attention. Even Rin had to admit, that the teaching had seemed fragmented and disjointed. Hopefully, this would be a new chapter for the class! Strangely enough, with as much attention as Rin had been paying to new individuals coming to and leaving Yuuei. Despite this diligent overwatch, Rin hadn't spotted anyone that fit the bill. With Aeris entering the classroom and introducing herself, Rin had simply assumed it was mistakes on her end, that had allowed the teacher to slip in without Rin having had a chance to speak to her first. Thus, despite being the class president, this was the first impressions Rin was getting of Aeris. Immediately wrinkling her nose, as Aeris began speaking french, Rin sighed inwardly. There was something with teachers, constantly speaking another language, explaining what it meant, hoping that it would catch on to tsome of the students. Unfortunately, there weren't many that spoke french - or had any inclination of speaking french. Rin, might've been the only exception, given how her father was of french heritage. Still, rather than displaying her ability to speak french, Rin kept quiet. There was no reason to attract unneccessary attention from the teacher so early on.
Except, that is exactly what happened. Rin and Ryuusei were both placed directly into the center of a spotlight. Staring at Aeris in disbelief, how on earth was this making any sense? Their class was already segmented in several different ways. If Rin had been the one teaching, the first lessons would've been about bringing the whole class together, avoiding needless conflict, mainly centered around Nick, cough cough. Instead, Aeris seemed determined on making the already budding problems even worse. Still, Rin respected authority, and rather than undermining the new teacher immediately, she simply got up from her chair. Rin, having her desk furthest in the back, against the wall, away from the windows, made her way through the entire class towards the front. Nervously looking around, picking like this always led to problems. Those being picked last, like Rin usually was, ended up feeling unwanted. Rin knew how that felt, yet no matter what she did, someone had to be picked last... Swallowing, the only thing she could do was follow instructions and make the best possible team. A team that could work together...
"I'll pick Jasmine Noir, as the first member of the team." The reasons for this pick was relatively obvious. Rin knew that Jasmine was, in many ways, a power house. Because they had spent so much time together, playing games and what not, Rin was also confident in their ability to function together. Plus, she knew that if it came to it, Jasmine was going to listen to directions... Another pick which had been on her mind, was Yoruhi. Ever since their first interaction on the obstacle course, he had been one of the individuals within the class that Rin held in the highest regard as a hero.. Alas, Ryuusei picked him up second. It seemed this team building wasn't going to be that easy, after all.
"Sean Mizushima." Rin spoke in a soft tone. Honestly, the raven haired maiden wasn't too sure about his specific abilities, his strengths and weaknesses. The girl had an ideal for building a team though; Cooperation. From what little Rin had interacted with the boy, it was clear he was going to work together with others to make the team stronger, rather than insist on being a powerhouse on his own. He'd mesh well with Rin's ideas. Ryuusei, once again picked a person that Rin would've liked to have on her team... Maximillian.
"Malene Rubis." This pick might've been the strangest one thus far, albeit it followed the same trajectory. As strange as Malene could be, the girl was more playful than she was a fighting machine. That, and Rin knew several ways that her quirk could be effective in cooperative natures. Meanwhile, Ryuusei picked Toma Kaishi. His strategy seemed to be getting clearer at this point. His entire mantra seemed to be picking quirks that complimented each other well, while Rin was working with personalities.
"Levi-chan." Rin was a strategist. Knowing that Maximilian was on the opposing team, Levi seemed to be an obvious choice. If they were ever to set up teams, Levi seemed to have some kind of interaction with Maximilian, that'd make it difficult for the boy to actually engage in a confrontation with his girl.
"Niso Konto." When she had been paired up with Niso Konto, he had displayed an excellent understanding of teamplay. Besides, regardless of how disgusting his quirk might've been, it's usefulness could not be denied. Lastly, his attitude was phenomenal.
"Elizabeth Sharp" From here on, it started getting extremely tricky. Most of the remaining students, had transferred in bit by bit, meaning Rin's frame of interaction was relatively weak. Thus, it became guesswork. At least with Elizabeth, Rin had experienced a pleasant first interaction. It looked promising enough. The rest of the names, Rin simply picked based on what little information she had on their quirks, or what little she knew of their personalities.
"Lucas Wilson, Reid Westing, Akagai Ketsu, Freya Iroh" That concluded all the names in class. Sighing softly, the teams had been made. Even still, Rin really hadn't felt comfortable standing in front of class, making it apparent exactly who she valued having on her team, and in which orders. It, in fact, made the girl feel somewhat miserable about herself. What if she had made mistakes, or hurt someones feelings?

Post by Ryuusei Igarashi on Jul 24, 2018 19:20:00 GMT -4
I often feel like a butterfly with broken wings Ironically, Igarashi Ryuusei sat in the commonly known "anime protagonist" seat. Every class since he remebered going to school - it was always that same place, next to the window in the last row of desks. The irony was apparent to everyone: Ryuu was nothing like an anime protagonist, not even in the slightest. That and the fact that he, somehow, was Class 1-A's Vice President. One would expect someone with that function would seat in one of the rows closest to the teacher, but that wasn't Ryuu. Not that he wasn't a good student - in fact, he was rather intelligent and always had excellent grades. It was more that he just liked to not be noticed... and the back row was ideal for that. Also, by being next to the window, he had a nice view.
He was looking at the clouds when the bell rang. So peaceful.
I wish I could be up there, he thought.
Then, the board/monitor started to display some video. With the corner of his eyes Ryuu watched, his head being supported by his right arm.
A hero. Or vigilante. Something like that. Blowing a kiss to the camera? Oh, so the type of pro hero or vigilante that Ryuusei hated the most. The boy had started to read, in secret, a book that he paid a big price for in the black market of Tokyo. It had been released one or two years ago, only had one edition and was only available for about one month before being removed from circulation, reason being that it was considerated illegal propaganda. The author signed as "Nanno Nanigashi" and the book was titled "An Analysis of an Hero Society: Failure Waiting to Happen". Ryuusei hated to admit it but the truth was that it made a lot of sense. The author anticipated the existence of Hero as an official position and how it would fail because, in short, most humans would just do the deed for the popularity, the attention or the money and not because they wanted to save people. By that video, the woman in question seemed to fit such description, at least partially.
Having a negative opinion of what he just had witnessed, it was quite shocking when he saw the women in question walk into the class and presenting herself as the new homeroom teacher. The way she chose to talk and the way he chose to announce her arrival just made Ryuu more sure that she was exactly what Nanno Nanigashi described.
Something to think about later though, this because Aeries had requested both him and Rinkusu to take turns into picking teams... Standing up, right in front of the class and at that exact moment.
Yeah, I really don't like her, he thought as he, slowly and with his hands on his pockets, walked towards the front of the classroom. He maintain that posture but, despite what other might have thought, his brain was actually thinking hard about on who to pick. Rin took the first pick and now it was Ryuusei's turn... and on his first pick, the first major surprise.
My first pick is Yoruhi, he said. It was the obvious choice. His best friend (even if he might not know that) and the one he trusted the most. If Ryuusei imagined working with someone, that someone would be Yoruhi 100% of the times.
Nick. He could even feel a little look of disbelief from Rin and, well, the entire class. It was well known that Ryuu only talked with Yoru and Rin and everyone could guess that Ryuu didn't like Nick at all... so why pick him so early? Only Ryuu knew.
Maxi. His third pick was the boy with the ice Quirk. From what Ryuu remembered, he had good control over his power and he always eemed excited about something. That annoyed Ryuu a little bit, but it was something that might be good for a team.
Toma, Kei, Tomo, Sora. These were his next four picks. He based the decision mostly on the strategic possibilities that their respectives Quirks presented to Ryuu. He only had basic descriptions, but he didn't had much else to go on from.
Nobunaga, Madoka. More than Quirks, he chose these two based on what he saw from their personalities during classes. He never talked to them, but something told Ryuu that they could be important pieces for him to count on during practical exercises... or maybe he was completly wrong, who knew.
Jane, Pressione, His last two picks. Nothing much to say about them either. They were the most recent in the class and Ryuu didn't know much about either of them.
With that done, Ryuu went back to his seat at exactly the same pace as before.
Talking in front of everyone really is weird... did I talk loud enough?
He thought, completly deattached from the classroom, uninterested from what might happen next. The teacher seemed cocky, her method of dividing the class was questionable, yet different and new at the same time. Looking through the window, his eyes met the clouds once again.
Yeah... I really would love to be one of them.

. . . . Following behind the crowd, she would sneak in and make her way to the back of the room, her hood over her head. Her black jacket would cover her almost entirely, save for her always white socks, and her now colorful pink shoes. She glanced at the new body in the front of the room. How long had she been around? Was she new or did Levi just not notice until now? She took her red bag and placed it on the floor beside her seat, leaning back in her chair, she wondered how this day would go. Listening to her, it was hard to not laugh at her talking in some other language. Was she showing off, or was she just learning Japanese? She didn't really care to ask, or care at all for the reason. But she couldn't really complain, as even her own Korean had slipped out at times when she forgot certain words. As she continued to talk, she would reach over, unzipping the bag to get out a notebook from it. Sure, she said to close their books, but Levi didn't have time for that. She needed to always be on her game, be it class studies or her own personal ones. Taking it, she dropped it on her desk and immediately began to read her notes from the first page. All of it was in her native tongue, hoping for no one else to understand it, but also as it just was easier for her to get her thoughts down like this. She listened to something about teams, but she didn't bother to look up. It wasn't until Rin got up, making her way past Levi to head to the front of the class. Being in the back had its benefits, and having the class president next to her was helpful at times. She didn't stop reading, but she began to slow down, looking up as the new day began. Jasmine. The first pick of the day. The first on Rin's team. That bitch was crazy. Whatever it was going to be about, she wanted nothing to do with her. It was only after her name was called that she would stop, only to look up at the two who would pick their rosters. She didn't really listen to what they said, thinking only on her brain research, until Maxi's name was called. Whatever the case, it was better for her to be on Ryuusei's team, but at the same time, it was better for him to oppose her. She knew Maxi, and understood him well enough that she could- "Levi-chan."Fuck. Yes. She smiled a devilish grin at her name being picked for Rin's team. At least she didn't have to deal with Jasmine, or at least have to face her. It was one less problem for her worry about, and to have that refrigerator on the other side, only meant they would have one less participant. "Naneun ilbon-eul silh-eohanda."* she would say to herself. Thinking that the honorifics and titles people used in the language were obsolete, and inferior to her own. But this was not a place for that. She looked down at her notebook, finding her hands had already mindlessly written and copied the teams. She looked down, closing the book in front of her. . . . why were they doing this again? ~ 568 ~

words: 301. tag: @username. notes: Poor Sean, still oblivious to what Nick is really like lol

As the video played on the monitor screen, Sean was sitting down in his desk, waiting for the teacher to arrive. He wondered who would fill the vacant spot of 1-A teacher. Whoever it was, Sean decided to give them a warm welcome. So once Aeris Leon walked in, he stood up and greeted her in his usual cheery fashion: A smile and a wave of his hand. "Welcome, ma'am!" Some students probably stared at him, but if they did, he didn't care. He wanted not just to make a good first impression, but to make their new teacher feel welcome.
Sitting back down, Sean watched as Miss Leon called up Rin and Ryuusei up to the front of the class. Apparently, the class president and vice president were to pick the rest of the students for their teams. As Sean began wondering who would pick him, he heard Rin call out his name. Feeling honored to be picked by the class president, he smiled at her and gave her a thumbs up. He would do his best not to let down Rin or any of the other people she chose for her team.
He was saddened a bit to hear Ryuusei pick Nick. After their talk back at that park, Sean was eager to hang out with Nick again. From what he saw, Nick looked like someone who would make for an interesting rival. It didn't seem like Nick had the time to hang out, though. He was probably busy doing things Sean could only guess at. Although thinking about it, perhaps this wasn't so bad after all. After seeing Nick's quirk at the park, Sean always had an interest in having a friendly spar with him. He looked at Nick and grinned. Perhaps now he could get that chance.

Clearly the new teacher wanted to make an impression. That she could not have made more obvious. Nick sat at the back of the class, twirling a pen around in a manner that would suggest his mind was elsewhere, but his eyes were fixed to the screen, taking in every single detail.
If he were a teacher, he might have introduced himself in much the same manner. A show of strength, of reputation, yes, he could not fault this. Could Yuuei finally be doing something right in his eyes?
Sadly, this feeling diminished as the teacher herself entered. He was fine with everything she said – he had already memorised his books and notes – up until she asked the two class presidents to get up and select teams. At this, Nick frowned. Heavily. Another cooperative exercise, how bloody wonderful. Why Yuuei was so insistent on pairing them up when their hero work would surely all be done solo was beyond him.
Even so, he sat up as straight as humanly possible as the two presidents began to make their choices, the pen he had been toying with long since put down. He knew whichever one chose him, he was going to have issues. Rin was Rin. Little Miss Perfect whom he could never escape from, one way or another. When he was not constantly been put into exercises with her she haunted his thoughts. He wanted to beat her as revenge for how her team had beaten his in the last major exercise, very much so, and the thought of taking orders from her grinded his gears.
Ryuusei, however, was hardly much better. He had attempted to goad Nick into a fight the other day outside the gym, bitter and misguided over how his fight against the Perfect Class President had turned out. To say Nick did not like him was an understatement, and he knew the feeling was mutual. The truth was Nick might have happily punched his face in if he could have gotten away with it – which he had quietly hoped ever since class would provide the opportunity to do.
In the end, it was Ryuusei who chose him. Nick was not surprised at the speed with which he was chosen: naturally he would be one of the first picks. He was strong with a Quirk that was second to none; everyone knew it. Even an idiot like Ryuusei, apparently. He said nothing and simply folded his arms. Now if they could just be told what the hell they were being put into teams for…
He caught the Water Quirk user, Sean, grinning at him. He raised an eyebrow back. They were not on the same team, so what was that about? Did Sean want to fight him the most? Because a fight he would get, even if Rin remained Nick’s top priority. Nick just flashed him his best ‘you have no idea what you’re in for’ smirk and looked away.

Aeris Leon Teacher 1-A || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Don't Teach if you Can't As the teams were decided, she looked over the student's faces as they were called. But the moment thier Captains had finished selection she just nodded to the two. "Merci. Please take your seats." Aeris stood back up but dimmed the classroom lights a bit as the moniter flipped to life. The Title of the file that was being loaded shown at the top left corner for a moment.Introduction to Charisma "Each week I will be teaching a different lesson you can directly use in your future Hero Career. Today's lesson will be the first you will work on together as a team, even though you will show individual results. She sat her tablet down on a small pedastal she pulled over from the corner and stood next to the screen. With the screen going dark blue, she grinned to herself as she couldn't wait to see the fruits of her own work herself. "Charisma is the Force of Your Willpower. By harnessing it, you can attack the soul of your adversary and win battles before you throw the first punch. You can also bolster your allies and spur them on to great heights. I will be using Fictional Examples of this as Hero Recording are rare at the moment. Lucky-san will explain from here." With a touch of her finger the video spurs to life.
The video starts playing as a young man is seen in the ceter of the frame, walking through flames with determination on his face. Ten fallen comrades look on from the ground towards him. A young boy is the first to speak, looking towards the man. "Lucky." Indicating the hero's name.
Opposite them on the field of battle is a blue and white Squid Man. "One person arriving now means nothing."
The man holds up something in his hand as he strides past his allies. "I won't know until I try." That something is a small teal colored globe with twins inside it. "I'm going to test my luck that everyone believes in! The device on hsi arm indicates that it is the Futago Kyutama, and he then intiates the Seiza Attack. The one man doubling. The two identical copies hold up their arm devices and say in unison "Now there are two Futago Kyutamas." The dragon on the ground looks on in disbeief as Lucky launches another Seiza attack, doubling again. And then again, and then again. Going from two, to four, to eight, to sixteen all in a row. A white haired male looks on from his belly at the many Luckys as his Golden Robot Brother stares behind him. The sixteen becomes 32, forming an arc around the squid. One more completes the circle. With the last attack made, All the Lucky,s Throw thier fist in the air and in unison shout. "Alright, Lucky!" The joining of thier voices seemingly animated as a sound wave that went through the entire world. A blue wolf weeps openly into his claw as a woman look on next to him. The wolfman states the that is the lucky he fell for. "Let's go!" The chorus of Luckys state as they charge up a balster attack from the device on their arm. The squid is barraged by so many lasers, he can't deflect all of them, soon collapsing as his defense fail. The circle of Luckys vanish leaving just one behind. "As long as your empire's in control, there is no one lucky in this galaxy! That's why...I will keep saying it. Alright, lucky! I will keep saying it to change it! I will save the galaxy!"
The video pauses as Aeris looks to her class. "Using your charisma, you can halt the battle and take charge. Just the shock of his statement allowed him enough time to activate his ability and turn the tables. By controlling the battlefield, he also allowed his team to recover some. Next we will see how the effects amplify as they come together as a team." The french teacher pressed her tablet, starting the video again.
The fallen comrads join hims y standing in a row, each of them attaching a different colored globe, activating their devices. "Star Change! The dragon pops on in the mouth of his cane. "Dragon Ascent!" Multi colored stars twilinkle and rotate at their feet, before they transform. The scene switches to one in space as they pose and announce who they are.

Aeris Leon Teacher 1-A || Fantasy || Danse de Fee Don't teach if you Can't The lesson went on for another ten minutes. Stopping and starting the video at key points to highlight different aspects. The expression of the Red and Blue hero. How the timing of an entrance can make or break you with the Duck Shadow. Or just the force of will from a man who obviously does not look like a bat staring down a Martian. With the last clip done, the lights slowly came back on. It seemed her class was a bit tired and ready to proceed.
"Alright, now onto the assignment. Today is Monday. For the rest of the day and until the end of Thursday, your teams will work together to come up with Charismatic Introductions. They can be individual, duos, trios, or everyone together. Friday, for Role call, I will have you form up and introduce yourselves to the other team. Be in Super suit or gym Uniform for that day. Thier reaction will determine your individual grade. We will also go back and forth." Turning off her tablet, she walked back into the center of the room. Her eyes dancing between the President and Vice President. "Until Friday morning, after role call, you may practice anywhere on school grounds you want. Captains. You now have control of your teams." With that, the french professor sat in her seat and whipped out some papers, making notes
