Luzia's mind was overflowing, racing, turning over, jumping the screaming as she walked the streets of Tokyo. She could still hardly believe it; she didn't think of it before, but the more she did, the more it bounced around in her head, the more it jammed itself on the inside of her skull, the more hopeful she was... and the more afraid. It felt almost impossible, that there was an actual way to get her quirk back, but even then it felt risky, dangerous, way, way, WAY more than she was ever comfortable with.
MARINE, fucking MARINE. She had seen its effects first hand, almost straight in her goddamn face. Some asshole got stabbed with a needle, and a few seconds later, he exploded into a colorful sludge. The thought of it still made Luzia shudder, and even almost make her dry heave. The smell was absolutely awful, way worse than you'd expect for what amounted to an exploded corpse. It wasn't a pretty sight or a smell... though the sludge that was that guy once did have some pretty colors to it....
But there was an upside... she heard rumors, on the streets and online... there were survivors. The drug was made to enhance quirks; she didn't know the exacts, but she knew that much, and the people that survived the drug... their quirks were boosted, and apparently to amazing degrees. Degrees she never saw, but it gave her hope... if something could enhance someone's quirk so incredibly, then it was possibly to give a quirk back, right? She still had her quirk, sort of, so she wasn't entirely quirkless... so that had to be hope, right? If she still had a quirk, then it could be boosted, right?
Luzia stopped, blinking softly. Without realizing it, she had climbed all the stairs until she was standing right in front of the door of her and Niso's apartment. Niso.... It was a crazy idea, it really was, so much so she wasn't sure if she wanted anything to do with it. Would he be okay with the idea? What would he think of it? It was a pretty crazy idea, but after all of the things she looked at, it looked like the only option to get back to normal... and she wanted taht more than anything.
"Niso...?" She opened the door and walked inside, walking through the house, flicking on the myriad of neon lights as she searched for him. "You here?"

"Nnngh..."
Niso rested his face into one of his hands, the tired aching of a long day filling him. It was an unusual feeling, the tiredness in his body was typically eliminated, tired cells purposely destroyed and replaced by more alert fresh ones but... he didn't have the stamina to do that. Again. For what would probably be the 100th time today. He'd been through too much, too many bullet wounds, too many broken bones, too much constant healing. He was allowed to let himself feel tired, to recover. His shower was already running as he just let the water warm up, though in his dazed state he had perhaps forgotten about it for a moment, only reminded when he saw the steam start to leak through the bathroom door... why had he started it again? Just to relax? That didn't-
Oh. Right. Pulling his hand back from his face revealed the answer, turning over his hand with some annoyance as he examined the blood clinging to his skin, sinking into the cracks and natural wrinkles of his palm and knuckles. The deep red, turning a dry brown, flowed up his arm and clung to his shirt. He rose up to his feet and yanked the once white fabric up over his head, but it had done nothing to save his torso from being coated. How many people made up this mess? He couldn't be sure but... so long as he got that... it hadn't been a dream. He wasn't tricking himself. He HAD it... he just had to... convince Luzia...
He took a long breath, dropping his shirt as he was about to head for the shower when he heard her voice. She... she was out of the lab? Surely not right? She'd been in quite a state, they said she'd been recovering but...
Briefly he hesitated, felt like he should hide. In his eyes it had been his fault that she'd gotten so injured so... she didn't really want to see her right? She was just making sure he wasn't-
No. No. He blamed himself for this, a lot, but of all people he knew Luzia didn't... he clenched a fist at his side and moved to greet her at the end of the entrance hallway, blood dampening his hair, oozed and drying over his torso and arms.
"H-hey er... don't worry, it's not all mine." He let out in a timid chuckle, worried how she'd react.

The light of the signs, the hum they let off... they were in the background, they barely registered, just like regular lights would, but regular lights didn't have that sweet glow that wrapped around you, nor the hum that was like a sweet little song in her ear. It was in the background, just like light would be if it wasn't a pretty blue or red or purple, like if it came from a lightbulb. But unlike them, this light comforted her, it made this place feel like home, it made her feel like her... hell, until a few weeks ago, it was her.
The lights made her feel more comfortable, more at ease, more safe. But still, she worried about Niso; he had been away lately, doing who knows what... Niso never said when she asked, just said he was trying to 'fix it'; she could have only guessed that he was searching for doctors of quirk researchers or people like that to help, but given the way he had been looking, he wasn't having a whole lot of luck with that, which always made her feel a little worse about her situation, making it feel more and more hopeless... but at least he was looking. She appreciate dthat... it was hard for her to look in her condition, after all....
Luzia flicked on another light, and she gasped in surprise. For the first split second, she just saw someone bloody, and she almost freaked out, but in that same split second, she recognized who was under the blood. "Oh shit!" She exclaimed softly, running over to him, touching his chest as she looked for injuries. She knew she wasn't going to find any; her boy-no, no, that ring of her finger... her husband could heal, but that didn't stop her from worrying, even just a little bit. Even when he protested, even when he said it wasn't all his blood, she still looked, then, when she was satisfied, she sighed in relief and looked up at him, cupping his cheek and smiling. "Geez... you go get yourself a wife and then decide to paint the town in blood... well, you always were a sweetheart~." It was a little joke, something that came out of her before she even thought, but it was a nice little bit of normal. For the moment, she had completely forgotten about her own problems, and took Niso's hands, moving past him to gently start pulling him towards the bathroom.
"Come on, husband," she said, her voice soft even though her heart did a leap somewhere over the next building in happiness saying that word, "let's get you cleaned up, okay?"

Niso backed off a step as Luzia came to him so quickly, not scared of her by any means but definitely unsure as to her intentions for a moment... his nerves quickly eased as it became evident what she was doing. Checking for injuries. He couldn't help but chuckle a little, he wasn't sure if it just didn't sink in or if she still worried regardless. Fair enough, a good chunk of the blood WAS his, he'd sustained a lot of injuries but... he knew how to keep blood loss to a minimum and regenerate it when needed, and his wounds had all long since closed up and healed. He thought to wrap his arms around and hug her but- "I'd... I'd give you a hug my love but I don't want to ruin your clothes." He chimed with a warm smile, chuckling a little more as he brought up their new proposal again. "Yes yes well... I've got you locked down now so you can worry about me all you want, but you know I'm not going anywhere.~" He teased with a mildly confident smirk.
The suggestion that she'd be helping him with his shower more caught him off guard because of what she'd been through, was she really bouncing back to her usual, somewhat perverse self all that quickly? There was a sensation something might be off but... he didn't want to draw attention to it if he could help it. Didn't want her to feel uncomfortable. "O-one sec." He reached to the couch, grabbing his jacket. It had the Marine vials in the pocket and he didn't want to displace them even for a moment. They were apparently the most top grade stuff they'd developed, or at least, the best stuff they'd kept at the lab. he was sure they had more they could work from but this... he knew it was special. If he could convince Luzia to take it... well, he didn't want to lose it before trying. "O-okay... lead the way love."

Even as she checked him for injuries - again, more to ease her mind than actually expecting to see something - he said such sweet words, putting a smile to her face and looking up at him, smirking. "Oh honey, you're so sweet, thinking about my favorite things... but you know I don't mind blood~. Besides," she added, "I know how to get blood out." She smiled more at his teasing, and, satisfied with her inspection, took his hand and pulled him to the bathroom... or at least, almost did. She stopped, letting go of him so he could go grab his jacket for whatever reason, but when he came back, she took his hand again, smiling as she slowly pulled him through the house.
This felt good... all of the pain in her chest, all of the agony of being effectively quirkless, it didn't matter... at least during moments like this, it really, really didn't matter. She was married; every girl's dream! She was married to the sweetest, most amazing husband in the whole world, someone who thought about her, someone that cared about her, really truly cared! Not just physically - not that she minded that - but way more than that.
She pulled him slowly, lovingly, into the bedroom, doing a double-take when she saw that the shower was already on. Seems like he had the sensible idea, but never got around to it... well, that's what she was here for, she supposed~. Giggling softly, she turned to Niso, gently taking his jacket, completely unaware of its contents, and yet, seeing that he cared about it a lot, sitting it so, so gently on the toilet, turning back to him and helping him not only undress, but move him into the shower, adjusting the water since it gotten a little cold between him turning it on and actually getting in. With it nice and warm, Luzia smiled up at him, helping him get clean, planting kisses on his lips and his skin as they were cleared, smiling up at him sweetly.
She didn't say a word; she didn't need to know what he was doing. She cared, of course, but if he didn't want to say anything, then she didn't need to ask anything; she trusted him completely and wholly, and even if she worried about him, she knew he was safe no matter what he did, and if he was covered in this much blood, then whatever he did, he probably had a good time. She giggled softly at that thought, and looking into his eyes, she smirked. "Ya know... after getting covered in this much blood... getting beat up like you do..." Her hands trailed across his already-clean chest, a glint of slyness in her eyes, the same kind that happens whenever Niso had this little clothes.
Of course, she might not have been so fit for any 'action' as she was, but she couldn't stop herself from flirting a bit.
"I bet you have just a liiiittle bit of stress you'd like to get rid of... maybe something your wife can help you with~?"

Niso smiled calmly at her assurances that he didn't need to worry, but he still did a little, trying not to get too much blood on her clothes. He tended not to care too much about his appearance so she was probably better at getting blood out of clothes than he was, but he was still a little nervous about leaving any permanent stains. He didn't push her away, but he tried not to add too much pressure to their connection, carefully touching where her arms were bare as she continued to check over him for a moment, before finally taking her hand and moving to the bathroom.
When Luzia went for the Jacket, Niso's grip tightened involuntarily, an instinctive reflex trying to protect the contents of his pockets. He realized quickly he shouldn't worry, and eased his grip up, chuckling nervously as he tried to just brush it off with "Sorry, long day... extra tense..." Certainly not a lie, not the whole truth perhaps, but definitely not a lie. The rest of his clothes were abandoned easily enough, and a few more pleasant, relaxing chuckles flowed from him at Luzia's constant attention... she was calmer than he remembered in a way, but, they hadn't really had much time together since he proposed now that he thought about it. She'd dissapeared, he found out who she was, he proposed. They planned the marta event, Niso took Marine so he was gone for a while and... then Luzia was in hospital and... Niso visited, sure but... he found it difficult to stay long, he could admit that to himself. Seeing her like this... how she seemed calmer... recovered... loving...
His eyes caught the scar on her front, the mark where she'd been struck by that... fucking insect...! He tensed up briefly but tried not to let it get to him. But it was a reminder of where he'd failed to keep her safe. He kept repeating it to himself. He could handle consequences... he couldn't handle others suffering them for him however. He tried to take a breath, a little shaky, and just respond to Luzia's teasing words.
"I-if you think you're up for it darling but... y-you just got out...? Did... did they let you leave or did you kick up a fuss?" He showed his nerves once again but it was hard to find ground here, he knew he was somewhat in the wrong not being with her as much as he could have. Sure, he'd been searching for Marine but... high or not, Luzia probably spent a lot of time without him. He had no idea if she was genuinely recovered or, heck, if she was just high on painkillers right now too.
