The quick blonde fox Jumps right over any lazy hog One day I’m stealing jewels and blackmailing billionaires, and now… Stalking schoolgirls? The polished mirror screen of designer sunglasses practically without peer when it came to little acts of surveillance here and there, Kira Kozuki hummed to herself as she picked up a strange little trinket in a show of great interest, but honestly was far more intrigued by a young shape she could see nearby. Lamenting how her life had changed in recent days as she kept her gaze fixed on the shape of a young woman with dark hair and darling little ears atop her head, the fox herself was dressed rather finely aside from her eyewear in a plaid skirt and slightly sporty little number that clung to her frame, though was not looking totally her usual self in this moment. I bet I can think of a few dozen not-so-happily married businessmen who would love the irony in that one? Gone were her own perky little earlets in favour of lobes which were a little more commonplace and currently sporting hoops large enough that teens might try to shoot baskets through them at any moment, though she was rather certain that she would not be recognised thanks to the passage of time and changes of style Kira had still elected to be cautious in her curiosity, though this was something that by this point she was well practiced in really. The act of pursuit of her prey something that the fox had done again and again in various stages of her career, if bodyguard details and jealous wives hadn’t been enough to spy her covetous gaze then the effort of a little girl would be unlikely to either, even if this wasn’t the first time she had done it. Or the second. How many times had she followed after this girl, actually? Still, she’s a pretty little thing isn’t she~? Lifting up her phone to add to the illusion that she wasn’t currently gawking covertly at a girl more than a decade younger than she was, Miss Kuzuki couldn’t help but smile as her eyes washed over the image she saw of her, and found that it made her feel oddly nostalgic now that she thought of it. Just like her mother was at that age… Those dark features and obvious good looks definitely running in the family, while the stalking siren was sure that she had inherited the best of all of them beyond any doubt, she could certainly appreciate both the similarities that was shared between the teen and the woman who had birthed her, and right now she could see the latter at the same age as clear in her mind as any image she might have conjured on her phone. Heeheehee, I wonder if she’d take that as a compliment, or not~? Smirking and forcing herself to chuckle inwardly rather than outwardly when she let her mind drift from the picture of her prize and so something a bit more metaphysical, though the time she had spent scouting the girl across social media meant that Kira had some clue of what she was like never having met the young woman she was becoming, in a way she hoped that the girl was growing more like her aunt than her mother in truth. I can only imagine how I’d have reacted at the same age~ That likely to provide her with no end of amusement and a nice ground to work from when eventually she managed to find the right time and opportunity to get to know her in less of a ‘following you around’ sense and more of a literal one, she also remembered how she felt about her junior when the little thing had been oh so much smaller and honestly couldn’t believe how childish she had been then, and in a manner she hadn’t expected looked forward to starting the proper relationship she should have had with her all along…

Amaihana Okashi [The Candy Filled Fox]
Things were... strange, to say the least. She hated being home, but it was also the one place she was able to become something more than herself. tucked behind a screen, wrapped in blankets. This was of course, the common option she had, over the rare times she could find herself staying late at a friend's house for the same activity. Having the dice in her hand was always a much different experience than over some virtual simulator. Even with the echoed sounds of what it should have been, wasn't was. It was just an alternative to her preferred life. Maybe when she was older she could be free. But would there be anyone in Japan that could satisfy the craving? The power of the internet was the ability to bridge gaps. People she would not otherwise play with. The question that lingered in the back of her mind always asked itself. Did she prefer the feel of the paper and pen, or the experience? Did it matter how she played, or who with?
Amaihana was pretty lost in thought, and thankfully her passive stealth and sleight of hand was pretty well trained. They might not have been things of value, but they were things of interest, probably? She made her way into one shop, only to stroll in down one aisle, slowly slide a mug into the jacket tied around her waist, and scrape off the sticker and back out. Sure, there was a million smaller thigns worth dozens of more yen, but who was to say what her real goal was.
She shook the thought, her white tank top perhaps a size too big. Her pants just as loose, along with the red flannel jacket that was tied around her body. Her feet bare, only to be worn with sandals. A pair of goggles on her head as she walked around. With passing a cafe, she tossed a small little ball and with a pop they all looked at it, only for her to swipe a coffee on her way out. She would continue her little patrol, only to leave the newly obtained mug at the counter of some street shop, taking a peach as she made her way out. It wasn't really clear if she was good at doing what she did, or if people just tolerated it. But, a trade was a trade.
Entering a small little park, she hopped up a tree and took her perch as she finished her sweet drink.

The quick blonde fox Jumps right over any lazy hog So it’s more about the act than the prize, is it~? Subtle and stealthy as a shadow as she continued to keep an eye on the light fingered young lady and amused to note that the girl did not seem either particularly fussy in her thievery or all that possessive either, Miss Kozuki was intrigued when she saw the youngster leave behind one of the objects that she had lifted from the department store and make off with a piece of fruit instead, and cheeky little thing that she was she couldn’t help but sweep in because of that. Such cheeky rebellion, she takes after her aunt so much, doesn’t she~? Such irony… Marching forward with swift steps and snatching up the cup that the young soul had ‘traded’ for her sweet treat before disappearing back into the crowd with nary a sound and barely a trace of her presence at all, with their combined skill in larceny it was unlikely any shopkeeper would spy what they were up to, and honestly the senior felt a strange sense of satisfaction in stealing away something that her targeted teen had used as well. Sprightly with more than just her fingers, him~? Continuing to follow the girl onward of course and further fascinated by the simple whimsy she showed as she ducked into a park next, Kira had to admit she was impressed with the skilful manner with which the cub stowed herself in a tree, and silently question her motive for doing so as well. Still, I wonder if she made me~? Wouldn’t make sense to have a random woman just hanging around at the bottom of a tree, would it? Perhaps that professional paranoia kicking in as she idly found a hint of concern in the idea that she might have been spotted in her pursuit and that was the motivation for her junior to seek high ground, the blonde shook her head as she continued on without making a show of such worry and wondered how she might act next. Do I let her go for the day, or tip my hand… Presented with at least two options and speculating upon which seemed more natural to follow, though those honed instincts told her to simply continue on like nothing was happening in all honesty Miss Kozuki was feeling increasing bored with this whole me and my shadow act, and as such decided to ultimately up the ante a little by showing her own act of able gymnastics. “I think you may have dropped this, dearie~” All too easily shooting in the branches with that mug in hand and finding her way to the perch of the youngster with little issue, once she had done so the blonde simply shone with a smile and offered out the cup that she had seized earlier, waiting to see what her young ward might have made of the fact that she wasn’t quite the invisible force of theft that she thought she was…

Amaihana Okashi [The Candy Filled Fox]
All of the things taken, she hated when she broke them. That made them rather difficult to replace. Even if it was a meaningless mug that maybe wasn't missed, she couldn't help but feel bad. From broken broomsticks, to pens that ran out of ink, she replaced everything she took, if she could not return it. Today was no different.
The scent of a nice day lingered around her. She couldn't help but rest her eyes, and lay upon the branches staring into the sunlight that passed through the bits of leaves. She wasn't really keeping an eye on who was on her trail, she had no reason to. No one ever followed her, and if it was the police, well, like before they would just scold her, tell her mom and be done with it. Maybe it was that small benefit of her dad working along side them. Maybe she did it just to see that uniform again... maybe hoping the next time, he would be the one to scold her.
The sound of another voice, and the sound of something joining her in the tree caused her to yelp and nearly fall out of the tree. With a awkward hold of the thick branch under her, she kept from her decent.
"I uh... That's not mine." She would say, avoiding eye contact. Such a weird lady. But looking back at the mug, and then the hand that held it, she looked upon her face. No, it couldn't be, right? Nah. Her mom would never follow her around like this she was way too busy.
But she narrowed her eyes. ". . . Do I know you from somewhere?" Was it the ears? No, she would remember someone else like that, right? Maybe she moved in, and was sticking around to her. What a strange NPC. But they had a name, right?

The quick blonde fox Jumps right over any lazy hog “Oh~? Must have been my mistake~” Smirking and shaking her head from side to side a couple of times as the cheeky little thing denied all knowledge of the item she had swiped, Miss Kozuki licked her lips softly and shrugged it out as she whirled the cup around her finger a couple of times to catch the attention of the girl, though was quickly quite dismissive of it now that it served no purpose to her. “Oh well~” Lifting it up and shaking her head again before released her grasp on it entirely as she let it fall down to the floor with something of a clatter, though she was being a little reckless to loose a piece of china onto the head of someone as she let it drop from the canopy, ultimately the mischievous minx did not mind one bit really. Or even consider the act beyond it’s image either, really. “Heeheehee, that’s the million dollar question, isn’t it~?” Intrigued however when her cute little cub seemed to search with those eyes to try and see something familiar about her as she tried to guess her identity, while Kira certainly had the ability to make the task rather easy by simply explaining her relationship with the mother of the girl, instead she elected to maintain her playfulness and instead was cryptic about things. Though she did offer a sporting chance, of course. “Though I do have you a bit of a disadvantage, so here…” Smirking with amusement as she lifted her sunglasses up off her ears and then removed them entirely to give both of them a better view of their faces, a moment later the vixen took a deep breath and shook her hair out, and then activated her quirk in order to make herself the most recognisable she could for her teenage target. “How’s that~?” Still not entirely sure if her fellow femme might have guessed her identity even as a pair of golden ears sprouted from the top of her head and curving marks appeared on her cheeks like those one might expect from a cat or a rabbit, given the time with which they had been separated and the limited involvement that Miss Kozuki had in this youngster’s life it felt only an outside chance that the girl might even have shown the scarcest hint of recognition towards her, though she did guess there might be the odd trait here and there which might have clued her in. “Certainly impossible to forget a woman as lovely as me, right~?” Certainly carrying a wildly different sense of style when it came to her sister but the two of them looking more than ever like a pair of twins now that they had both blossomed into womanhood, the shape of her face and those blue irises were sure to hint at a deeper connection to the family of this freewheeling fox, but whether the girl picked up on that or not would be down to her really. Perhaps, it was even the first test that her aunt might give her to see just which of the two of them she was really like? The humble and hardworking woman who raised her, or the spirited sibling of said woman who she seemed to more resemble with those thieving habits…

Amaihana Okashi [The Candy Filled Fox]
Even background characters had a name. The more your learned about them, the more relevant they were to the story. Maybe it would be one thing they told you, or maybe they would return for a later episode. A hero who comes out of the shadows to save the hero's life. It wasn't likely that this woman was going to reveal herself to be a major plot villain later, and if she did, well then the story would suck. What was her tale? Why did any of this matter?
The spinning cup was a sign of a problem. Could she roll an insight check? What if she was more proficient in bluffing? Was it worth the action? No, a perception check seemed more in order. What did she have on her person? What else could she find? All she needed was a weapon, or something dangerous to be seen. It was all she needed to know, that, or to pin a name to her face.
As she looked her over, the cup fell. She wanted to reach out to save it, but it wasn't going to matter. The twitch that she held back. She would just have to get him another one tomorrow. She would sigh, as she looked over the woman, with the glasses removed, she stared into the face, and still, no answer poured over her.
"Oh," she thought about it, the memories coming over her. She figured it out. "Miss Hanazuki right?" She smiled, "My teacher in gradeschool!" She nodded happily with her answer, sure it was correct. Her eyes closed in joy. But what would her second grade teacher be doing here? That was one weird event to get a quest from. Who starts their adventure with their teacher?
. . . unless she had taught her a secret skill, a secret code and she was chosen at a young age. That had to be it. That was her fate.
She was the chosen one.

The quick blonde fox Jumps right over any lazy hog “Miss Hanazuki huh~?” Arching her brow at the response of the youngster in front of her, though Amai had gotten her guess rather spectacularly wrong Miss Kozuki couldn’t help but feel a sense of amusement in the answer that the girl had chosen, and ever more so found herself intrigued by the figure she mentioned. “I bet she wishes~” After all such a person having to be one badass educator if it was in the realms of this lasses mind that she could tail her and transform and then follow into a tree like she had, the young vixen shook her head as she confirmed the failure of her estimation in a playful way, though still wasn’t quite sure how serious the teen she had trailed was being with her answer. After all, in many ways they were very new to each other. “But I don’t blame you for getting it wrong, we barely knew each other…” It all too easy for her to realize just why she might not be able to recognise who she was, even with her true appearance on full display for the girl it wasn’t as if she had much experience in seeing her, and at most any impact that Kira might have had on her life beyond toddler age would likely have come more from stories and pictures than anything else. “And I left a long time ago?” In retrospect such a fact something that made even the steely heart of this ardent prankster throb with a sense of loneliness, for a moment the blue eyes of the blonde seemed to glaze over and look to a distant horizon that was invisible to anyone else as she admitted how lax she had been in her familial connections, and in that she likely showed a tinge of regret as well due to her experience. “I’m your aunt, Kira, that ring any bells, sweetness~?” Not all that able to leave her guard down for too long and the series of seconds that she felt that sense of guilt quickly forcing the fox to revert to her a friskier visage out of habit, Miss Kozuki tilted her head to the side and smirked at her niece as she finally revealed who she really was to the girl, and found a part of her hoping that such an admission would be met with more excitement than suspicion. “Your mother’s sister, hence the ears, and such~” After all the chance to reconnect with her lost loved ones the reason that this roguish figure had returned to her homeland, even though there was every reason for a young girl to feel like she had no place in her life or her memory either the golden haired girl hoped that she might find a lingering sentiment of love for her, even if she didn’t deserve it yet, because that was something for all her exotic adventures and the like she had been sorely lacking in recent years, and even if she struggled to show it she had grown to feel increasingly lonely without…
