Welp. There goes Arthurs plan to just try and ease his way back into Reds old school life. It woulda been great. Woulda just walked into school with Feng, tried greeting some people, tried to pull off his best Red impression, give some vague explanations on why he'd been gone for two months, and all would be well....But nooooooo. As soon as he got back, everything had to go to hell. He wondered if Reds explosive "luck" was having a stack overflow and causing the entirety of Tokyo to blow up instead.....god he hoped that wasnt actually real.
Either way, now, instead of just phasing back in like a normal, perfectly well adjusted child would do, he was gonna have to contend with coming back during riot season, the US apparently coming over to take a peek at UA to see if they wanted to copy Japans homework, and everyone having to move back into dorms. Including Him. Which meant he was gonna have to live in the same building as Yumi again. Which woulda been bad enough but, checking the dorm room....allocation sheet? Whatever said where people lived, apparently Red and Kaz's old room was taken already....so there wasnt really a point to move back in anyway.
He'd figured he could just lay low in his house for a bit, then he realised that the frat kids across the street were moving back. And if they were moving back, then him and Feng would probably have to go too. And if he resisted those new security guys would probably drag him back kicking and screaming and throw him into a random room.
Which was not guranteed to be empty considering there were 60 rooms per dorm and there were a lot of students. So, taking all of that into account, Arthur came up with a plan. It was perfect. It would help him avoid Yumi, Help him take his time figuring out how to conduct himself again, and best of all....God it'd let him be alone for a good while.
So, he grabbed all the stuff he would reasonably need over the course of a couple of weeks, threw em into a big bag, and set off for the nearest department store. It was a few different changes of clothes, his uniform, his tools, his gear, some cooking equipment and other useful stuff. He'd also acquire a couple of big tents, some sleeping bags, stuff for making a fire, a small freezer/cooler thing, and some chairs. Why? Well, it was simple......he was gonna camp on UA grounds to wait for all of this to blow over.....Plus it'd mean he could leave most of the shit at the house and not have to effectively move twice in a month....god he hoped it didnt last longer than that.
At this point this bag was so big that it was bigger than his entire torso, but he could just barely handle it. He may not have looked like it anymore, but he still kind of had the physical capabilities of a UA student. Just, you know, without the muscles. It was a blessing in disguise really, still had all the power, just not the look, so people would underestimate him....and hopefully not go gaga and fuckin drool all over the bloody sofa whenever they got a whiff of his stomach.
However, a thought occured to him, as he approached UA's gates: .....Oh fuck how am I gonna sneak past the dorms with this bloody mountain on my back? I know I can hide myself a bit thanks to Jung but.....this may be taking it too far....its not like I have peoples focus on midterms to save me this ti--- Arthur'd think to himself, as he rounded the corner and saw God appear before his very eyes to save him from this plight. And by God, he meant a massive V-Haul truck in front of him. And it looked pretty damn full. Which would mean everyones attention would be on it....which he'd confirm by checking UA Chat and seeing everyone talk about it.....he also thanked God that Red never logged out of his account ever. Thank God For Emi.
Taking this lucky break, Arthur'd hide his presence as he booked it past the truck, avoiding most of the commotion by just hugging a wall and slipping into the main buildings. All he needed to do was get permission from SOMEONE to do this, and he'd be golden...and permission is exactly what he got. So, once again taking care to not bother anyone, he'd set out for his intended spot: A secluded clearing in the forest on campus.
It hadnt exactly been his first time in this place. Last time he'd been here, Red had followed Kaz to this place to try and get him to talk about that fight he got into saving a drunk Haruuhi which had....ended well. Huh, some of the slash marks from that fight were still here. Eitherway, this place would be perfect to camp. Nice open space, a good view of the sky, especially at night, since you could see the stars pretty well, and a lot of trees to climb, lean against, or otherwise use for firewood.
Plus there was another clearing on a hill nearby he could nap on if he wanted. Of course theres the problem of the....gremlin, but Arthur came prepared for that. With a massive bag of candy he threw behind him, out into the wild. It'd probably be gone soon enough, and hopefully keep her distracted for long enough.
So, After a bit of setup, Arthur had a pretty nice camp going. A couple tents up, a fire going, some marshmellows roasting on a stick, some meat/fish/other stuff you could put on a stick in the cooler/freezer, along with some drinks and a nice breeze flowing through the place.
Atleast now he knew that he could use his quirk to start fires if he wanted. Or he coulda just asked Feng to stick her leg in it....speaking of her, he wondered if she was gonna show up for more than just to steal his food, she'd already nicked a couple marshmellow sticks then fucked off.....But eh, it was fine. Was her choice.
"Man, this is nice and peaceful....I should camp more often, this is cool." He'd mutter to himself, makin sure his mellow was roasted really well before taking a bite....but as he did, a thought occured to him. A very terrifying thought.
......Did I check if you can see the smoke from the dorms?....God I bloody hope I did, otherwise Im just signalling to everyone on campus where I am.

自由自在 to be free; completely unrestrained. Well, if there was one thing that Jack was ever going to ask for, it was a distraction. Considering the fact that there was a literal riot going on in Tokyo, it was safe to say that the dragon boy was a bit on edge. He did want to do even a small something to help out, but even he knew well enough that this was by no means a situation that even any Third Year was properly trained for yet. At least it was a lot more contained in comparison to the last few 'little' events that had happened the last few months.
God, this year sucked so far.
Nonetheless, despite the obvious situation of being stuck, Jack still tried his best to distract himself. He laid in a tree, on one of the stronger branches, just star gazing at the moment. He bit his lip, just trying to count the stars and make out the constellations. Still, it would be a lot more helpful if some kind of distraction other than the U.A. chat or games presented itself. He didn't know how much longer he would last without deciding to run laps around campus willingly. Who does that???
Luckily for his legs, a distraction most certainly presented itself. Jack smelled the smoke before he saw it, looking off to the side and seeing a practical beacon of smoke rising up not too far away. The dragon boy raised an eyebrow, utterly confused. Who in God's name would make a fire of any kind at this hour? At most, maybe Mia...but then again, it was a bit late even for her. His eyes narrowed, wondering if it was Amare or Fion or someone goofing off and starting a fire.
Well, whatever the case, the starter clearly couldn't sleep either. One way or the other, it was a good distraction. Even if it meant having to dunk someone in the lake for causing a fire. Wouldn't be the first time, to say the least. The dragon boy would jump down from his tree, and quickly and quietly made his way over to the source of the fire. He only really prayed that it wasn't something that would spread...then he'd probably have to call in Melody. And God knows how cranky she probably already is having to be forced back to campus.
Slowly but surely, he would creep towards the campfire, his bright azure horns and chest gem glowing along with his deep purple eyes in the dark. It wasn't really on purpose, but at the least he hoped that if it was a stowaway the intimidation factor of an entity in the dark would be enough to knock some sense into them. As he would approached, he would let out a bit of a groan. "Y'know, if you didn't want to be noticed, a freaking fire would probably the last thing I would do. You trying to catch everyone's attention, strang-"
He quickly stopped himself, mostly because as he approached the campfire he caught an oddly familiar scent...yet the person before him was a bit different from what his memory told him. His eyebrows skyrocketed for a moment, surprised at what he was seeing. Was that...fucking RED? Where the hell has this jackass been? Dropped out on Yumi for some God forsaken reason, practically blipped off the face of the Earth, and now here he was, with a freaking hair-job in the middle of the night???
Granted, Jack wasn't exactly the same as before either, but still! He ran a hand through his hair, puffing out steam from his nose. "...Ok, so why the blue hair? You'd think you would go the opposite color, all things considered," he commented, not really knowing what else to say. He had...very mixed feelings about this. On one hand, he was glad the guy was ALIVE...but he had a very strong urge to sock him for just kind of disappearing like that.
It remained to be seen which feeling would take more control of him. notes words tag someone

Well this is the weirdest situation Feng found herself in. During her two months of self isolation and training, she seldom heard what was going on. But upon Red coming back from Korea, she made it an effort to check what she had missed out while she was in hiding. Which more or less resulted in that it was riot season, the U.S is coming to Japan to see what they can take from their observation and having all students come back to the dorms. On paper this would be fine...but that means about half the thirds years who lived on campus and had leases and the sort were now in a bit of a weird spot. However Feng was the exception as she lived near Aunts place and was more or less bumming around with the house she resided in. But despite that, she knows that they will probably drag her and Red back by force. She can fight them no problem...but that means going against the school and with how far she is, she can exactly afford to mess up now.
So she packed her things that she seldom had as she made sure everything was organized and clean. Feng kept a close eye on Red as she knows he has some kind of weird plan. She cant risk tailing him but the receipt on his person that she snuck a peek at was a massive giveaway. “Is...he going to camp out in the forest near the school?”, she thought to herself as she pondered in her room. UA would have changed by now and the chances of having a full house is pretty damn likely with how active the UA chat gets. She was the one to head off last as wanted to make sure the place was clean before she left. Her male friend left beforehand with an obvious load on his back and she quietly tailed him with no issue.
Her expression got real worried when he got to the front gate...only for luck to save him once again as a truck came by and take all attention from him. “How….did they not see that”, she said to herself as she waltzed on in. The place had not changed while she was gone and she took the chance to check the place out once again for sake of jogging her memory. It took all of 3 minutes for her to get bored as she went back to trailing Red and seeing him set up from a nearby tree. Watching intently as she counted the number of things he brought along and the number of marshmallows she managed to sneak from him during his set up. The record now was 5 in counting as she was more less being a squirrel in a tree who was nibbling on marshmallows. The smoke from the fire he started was perhaps the first mistake if he wanted to stay hidden. But it wasn't her problem and she just relaxed in the tree as she waited to see who was going to be the first one to notice the fire.
After a few minutes and her running out of sweets, the first one to show was Jack. The kid hadn't changed a bit but she kept a close eye on him since he and Red at least talked on a few occasions. There was a delay in his voice as he recognized Red despite his new look and his remark can be either glad or angry from what she can hear.
She quietly got out of her tree and proceeded to sneak around and try and get another handful of marshmallows to sate her sweet tooth. Her speed and stealth is a deadly combo as she would get closer and closer to the spot as she would reach for the bag of goods ever so slightly. Very much like how a raccoon would use its lil hands to steal stuff and run off.

With the current climate as it was, it was concerning to have to remain on U.A's campus once again. It had happened a few times before, which Tsuji felt was odd that it would occur so frequently. However, he was aware that security members were on school grounds just in case anything bad ever happened. What made matters worse, however, was students having to remain without the warmth of their rooms. He believed there might have been a set-up within the school gym, but wanted to help in any way he could, giving up his own dorm room in the process. He could sleep in the gym or outside, it didn't really matter to him.
Currently, however, the bear was outside, enarmoured with the beautiful night sky above, stars and all. He often liked laying down and thinking about things near and dear to him, and was even more prepared to do so - it was nearing winter, and he was becoming more and more drowsy. Soon he'd need his mandated sleep period to begin: not a hibernation, but enough rest so he could be refreshed for the coming year. With the hustle and bustle, he'd love to spend time with friends, but instead wished them well, as he wanted some time to relax by himself, unburdened by the world around him. As a result, he walked around the campus, trying to look for a good spot to rest up for the night - that was, until he caught wind - or rather smoke - of a strange occurance in the nearby woods. A campfire maybe? Weird, but mostly suspicious. "Perhaps resting can take second priority..." Tsuji said aloud, heading towards the source of the wisps in the night.
As he stepped forward into the bushes and brambles of the forest, he could see a light close by, hidden and obscured behind trees and further bushes. Tsuji creeped along, holding his arm in order to try and not make any clanking sounds. Moving gently along the floor, he heard some words being exchanged, nothing he could make out accurately, but enough to know there were at least two people. A secret deal, maybe? Had some spies infiltrated the school, and making ready to set them up for something? He didn't know for sure, but wanted to find out. Getting as close as he could, he waited for the perfect moment... and quickly leapt up from behind the bush, visible for all to see!
Unfortunately, just as he did so, the bear stepped on some sort of broken branch, tripping through the bush and rolling onto the floor, in front of whoever laid in front of him; surely it would be a surprise for them to have a bear in pyjamas to suddenly burst onto the scene, and fall over in the process. Rather groggy, Tsuji looked towards who it was by the fire, vision still relatively blurry. He couldn't make it out exactly, a mess of blue and orange from the fire. It'd come to him in a moment.

".......I wonder if she knows I can see her." Arthur'd mutter to himself, sticking the rest of the marshmellow he'd been eating into his mouth. Feng has decided to be herself and, instead of just asking for what she wanted, to try and sneak around and nick them from him when she thought he wasnt looking. Which he was. Constantly. Cause he knew she was there. She'd parked herself up on a nearby tree, hidden from sight mostly but you could still tell she was there if you squinted hard enough. Not that he needed too, he could hear her snacking on mellows and smell slight traces of her leg springs burning a little...and maybe a couple other things. Thank you, Enhanced Senses.
Either way, he was just lying against a tree and wondering if he could go to sleep without waking up with no food. He knew the teachers were fine with what he was doing, as was the security team since they hadnt thrown his arse into whatever classified as a brig around here, but....he was still worried that he'd maybe fucked up. For the life of him he couldnt remember checking, and he knew you could see the forest from the dorms....Then again, he was pretty deep in. Maybe he was lucky and just outta vie---
....Fuck. Arthur'd think, hearing the rustling of bushes and branches close by....and it was very clearly A) Not the gremlin or Feng this time and B) wasnt any kind of wild animal, since this was UA's campus....which meant that he'd probably been made by one of his old classmates....probably. He didnt wanna rule out the possibilty that maybe this was some dude who was VERY desperate to get the money from the list.
Turning his gaze in the noises direction, careful not to give away that he, in fact, did know that this person was coming, he'd stealthily move his hand towards one of his hilts and get it ready for a fight.....which looked like it was comin his way, judging form the fucking demon that was looking at him. He didnt remember anyone in UA having big, fuck off glowing horns and a goddamn giant blue thing in their chest before Red left, so this was obviously a new person.....if it wasnt for the eyes. Somehow those seemed familar. Whoever it was, they didnt exactly look friendly....so Arthur returned that "friendlyness" in kind, by generating a small wind knife in his hand, hidden from this dudes gaze.
"How about you fuck off and mind your own busine---" Arthur would start to say, holding the knife close to him just in case, but luckily, it was looking like he wasnt gonna need to use it. The man coming up to him seemed more annoyed than hostile, and as soon as he walked into the light of the fire, he could tell why. It wasnt some new first year who was tryin to suck up to the teachers. It was Jack. The dude who already tried sucking up to the teachers. Not in the bad way though, he was a decent dude....mostly. If what Red had to say about him about a year ago was accurate.
"......Not a choice, dude." He'd reply, sighing and loosening his grip on the knife, bringing it up next to his face and pressuring the blade enough for it to ignite for a few seconds. "It used to be black until a couple weeks ago, if i had my way I'd still be blonde."......And Red would still be around.... He'd trail off, his thoughts makin him look meloncholic for a half second until he realised who had decided to start moving whilst he was distracted by the Glowing Spyro Knock Off in front of him. She'd already had five marshmellows. She wasnt gonna get a sixth.
"....One second." He'd state, holding up a finger to Jack while he looked in a different direction. He knew Feng would try and dash through again using her stealth, but he wasnt gonna let her get away this time. So, he'd carefully watch her move outta the corner of his eye, just waiting for the opportune moment to arrive....and just as Feng reached her hand out to try and grab one of the bags he had left out as bait next to the rest of his stuff, he'd throw the knife. Not at Feng, but at the rope that was about to spring his trap.
Suddenly, a couple of sleeping bags would be released, rope rapidly pulling them towards Feng from both sides, as she was wrapped up in rope herself, being pulled upwards and surrounded by a sleeping bag cocoon. Hopefully atleast, he knew how fuckin limber she was. But if all went well, she'd now be hanging from a tree, with Arthur smugly grinning at her for a brief second. "Im sure you've already met Feng?" He'd sarcastically joke, grin slowly fading as he let out a sigh.....as another old friend emerged from the woods, falling over and almost knocking himself out on the bloody floor.
"......Ehhhh.....Hey Tsuji, how ya been?" He'd groan out, pinching the bridge of his nose and letting a very, very sighful breath. It was very clear that yes, he had, instead of getting to hide in the forest like a hermit and slowly introduce himself back to the place, that instead he had placed a giant neon flashing sign that said "HEY, GUESS WHAT I AM?!" Right on his fucking lawn. Great.
"......You guys want some food? Without stealing it this time." He'd ask, side-eyeing Feng. If she wanted anything he could just lower her down, he was pretty much sitting on the rope holding her up after all.....of course she could just burn through the thing but he doubted she could be bothered if he just stuck the food in her mouth for her. Plus, He figured Jack and Tsuji wouldnt want to leave anyway, they probably had....questions. And uhhh.....considering how Jack looked half happy, half wanting to apply fist to Arthurs face.....He had a feeling they would be questions that he wasnt going to like very bloody much.
