Someone had called upon THE UNKNOWN...erm...well...Zelig of the Eco-Bros to inform him of a strange creature prowling around, a fluffy...acid spitting croco-caterpillar-gator is what the young child called it over the phone. Well he tried to clarify and as politely as possible try to correct the little one on the other end of his call...but to no avail..they insisted. Incredibly adamant about it being fact and was on the verge of tears. Though he promised he was going to look into it no matter what, the child sounded distraught that so many people didn't believe them. Ughhhhhh he hadn't always been the best with people, but he tried all the same with valiant effort.

In a world full of quirks and animals with quirks...he...should have been a little more open minded. This was all in retrospect and he'd have to atone through his actions and make things right by successfully seeking out this creature. For some reason, Unity was a bit challenging to reach out to at times...yet all the same, he was certain to keep her informed all the same. After all, he worked under her, did he not? Yes, he could work independently, but he preferred making sure she knew what was going on just in case...it just made him feel better is all. Especially if she just so happened to need him in a pinch, at least she'd have a general idea of his whereabouts and location, the general estimated time of arrival they could expect from one another in the event of an impromptu rendezvous.

Admittedly, he looked like a young adult who looked as though he was kinda stuck in that sooooo...are you goth or punk phase...so he was able to slide under the radar of most. Plus, you know, not many people really knew of him aside from those with frequent pet problems and he was such an enigma that his existence was like a joke, even. So yeah...kinda worked in his favor. However, he kept his badge on hand and goggles in his pocket along with some trail mix and jerky in the other in the event he needed to utilize his quirk and get to work. Weird how people took longer to connect the dots when all he did was literally button up his coat a bit, put on goggles or shades and tug his scarf over his nose. It was literally the darndest thing....

The chubby little orange hamster, Kaede, peered up and out from the scarf, wiggling her nose and whiskers while trying to help Zelig find this mysterious and most likely quirked animal. Between the both of them...they should spot it...

The animal was walking around and getting hungry. As it walked it drooled its saliva. The only problem with that.... its saliva was hot acid that can burn soft metal, let alone the concrete it walks on. It was accidentally causing damage and thus scaring people away with its danger that it doesnt know its posing.

After all, how could it? Its own acid doesnt hurt it. Its as if your own saliva and drool hurts you. But it doesnt, hence why the animal with sub human intelligence didnt know nor notice it. The animal just came to a conclusion that it itself was scary or repulsive, not its dangerous drool. This bug was a normal centipede, but taken up to an 11. You know how a super strong human is called superhuman? Well that is this centipede, it was supercentipede, because its quirk allowed it to have its natural abilities turned to 11. It is as big as a pomeranean dog, it can still crawl and climb like a bug. And well... normal centipedes have these limbs, or maxillipeds that end in sharp claws and include venom glands that help the animal to kill or paralyze its prey. But you see, our specimen is not normal. What used to be venom to kill or paralyze small critters turned into acid that is a danger to all.
And that is why this bug will soon have a most unlikely encounter

a white, long-sleeved shirt donned his top. a sleeveless, red hoodie could be seen over that top. black sweats where, upon the right leg, a pants leg could be seen rolled up to the knee. casual red converses were worn for footwear. a black satchel resided upon the youth's side.

"there!" casually this youth rode atop of a car roof. the strawberry blonde headed kid stood atop of this roof as if he were surfing. banging on the roof, he'd yell, "you can stop right here, driver!" without warning the car would come to an abrupt halt, flinging the youth off with force. like a bullet he would fly past the bug (Midori ) and land roughly, tumbling on the ground. his clothing dirtied and torn, but quickly he would stand back up.

attempting to catch his breath, he sharply whilst shouting, "ah!" taking out a camera, he'd continue, "ah! ah! ah!" with each utterance there was a snap, "got it!" raising the camera into the air jovially, he'd say, "they'll love to add this one to their collection!" looking through the camera's shots, the boy would add, "they totally owe me for finding this awesome bug. i wonder what sort of bug is it though..." taiyo questioned.

many people around them watched in confusion, some almost held fear for the insect and worry for the boy's sanity. taiyo would look around in confusion, "what?" wiping his face with his forearm, he'd ask, "is there somethin' on my face?"

Gabriel was aware of the bug dog acid spitting thing that wandered around Kabukicho, mostly due to rumours and hearsay he had overheard or been told about by the girls and their clients at the brothel. He didn't pay it much mind though. So long as it didn't cause any trouble in his little corner of the world, he couldn't care less what sort of mayhem it caused whether intentionally or not.

So when he spotted it during one of his walks through the district, the albino had a mild curiosity about the creature. Gabriel shrugged and walked over towards the insect dog thing, and if able to get close enough would crouch down so he was more in line with its height.

"So, you're what all the fuss is about huh?" he mused aloud, slowly offering a hand to the creature. Just out of reach though so that it would take a conscious effort on the creatures part to come closer if it wanted to. Gabriel knew at least that much about animals, was that if you tried to force the physical connection yourself, it might just scare the animal instead and force it on the defensive.

Whilst he could probably regenerate the damage the acid might cause him, Gabriel didn't exactly feel like testing that theory first hand.
