Divine Intervention (Angel)

ngel had helped accomplish what some would say would have been impossible! She had helped prevent a zombie apocolypse! It wasn't without cost however as the young warrior had sustained a couple rather severe injuries including two broken ribs, and having metal shrapnel sprayed into her wings both which meant that she had to get surgically fixed. Luckily after a few days later she was out of the hospital and back to her mostly normal routine as if she hadn't helped stop the almost end of the world. The only real difference was that she was forbidden from flying or using her quirk in any way which meant no super strength, feather projectiles or flying. Luckily her mama felt like rewarding her by dropping her off at one of the nicest sweets shops in Tokyo. Angel made sure before she left however that she had the essentials such as her wallet, phone and the beautiful pink heart diamond ring necklace that her girlfriend Miyami had given her that she was finally able to wear once more now that she was out of the hospital.

Angel had spent a good chuck of the afternoon in said sweet shop where she filled four bags full of goods such as chocolate poki, Anko dongo balls, chocolate bars and chocolate filled sweet buns. Once she had and paid for her hall she decided that since she didn't really get to make her way out to Tokyo that often she would have a bit of a look around. As she walked Angel happened upon one of the strangest things she had ever seen, and that was including the fact that her school's mascot was a talking opossum. It was a rather large centipede with white fluff around it's neck who seemed to be trying to dig for food out of the ground. Angel knew that there had to be other animals that had somehow developed a quirk like the famous Paw Might, but she thought that she'd never see one. Angel decided to gently approach the creature while removing a sweet bun out of one of the bags hanging from her arms and unwrapping it. She then gently tried to get in front of the creature making no fast movements so that hopefully it didn't see her as a threat. She then held out the chocolate filled sweet bun.

"Hey there little guy, Are you hungry? I'm not gonna hurt you I promise. My name's Angel! Are you able to speak? I'm a friend of Paw Might the talking opossum hero? Do you know him?"

It was probably a long shot that the two different quirk having animals knew one another, but before Paw Might Angel had never met an animal that had a quirk. She knew of humans who were mutated to resemble animals,but this in front of her was something entirely new which honestly made it all that more exciting.

s Angel gently pet the little bug like creature on it's soft white fur she couldn't help but smile. In a way the creature reminded her of her girlfriend Miyami. Miyami had chosen to run away and become homeless because she couldn't control her quirk, and didn't want to hurt anyone. She chose a life of stealing and scraps over hurting others. The difference between the two was that this little creature didn't have a choice, but to look for scraps. It truly broke Angel's heart, and filled it with sadness. She wished she could more! As she pet the little bug's fluff she smiled at it.

"I'm gonna pick you up, and sit you in my lap okay? That way you can eat comfortably."

Angel would then finish her half of the chocolate bar before slowly moving to lightly pick up the small creature. If it allowed her to she would sit him in her lap and grab it's half of the chocolate bar and held it so that it could eat peacefully while using her free hand to pet the fluffy of the little insect smiling at it. It was so precious despite it's appearance. She had to do something to help this poor creature! She had to do something big! The young winged girl decided to pull out her cell phone from her coat pocket. She then dialed U.A.'s number to where she reached the receptionist.

"Hello, This is Angel Surami aka the Angel of Mercy. I'm the third year Vice president of 3-A. I'm calling to leave a message for Mr.Paw Might. I'm in Tokyo park where I found a quirked centipede type creature all on it's own eating out of the garbage. It is friendly when approached slowly and gently. I am currently sitting with it and feeding it, but seeing as Mr. Paw Might is also a quirked animal and an animal rights activist I thought he should be made aware. I don't want this poor little thing out here starving in the cold. Please pass on the message right away! Thanks!"

Angel then hung up and slipped her phone back into her pocket, and then continued to stroke the little bugs fur.

"Hopefully my friend will get my message, and come to help me find you a nice loving family."

s the little bug creature scratched its head and looked up at her Angel couldn't help but giggle happily down at it as she continued to stroke its fur lovingly and gently. Was this what having a pet was like? If it was then Angel absolutely loved it! The young girl found herself holding the little creature closer to her in a gentle loving embrace as she smiled down at it.

"You are such a little sweet heart! If my friend can't find a home for you I will gladly take you home with me, and give you tons of love every day!"

Angel then gently rubbed her cheek softly into the creature's fur with a smile as she found herself wishing that U.A. allowed its students to keep pets in their dorm rooms! Angel just knew that Chikako would absolutely love her new little friend. As Angel sipped more of her soda she looked up at the sky as she watched the clouds pass her by which caused her to smile. It wouldn't be long until she was finally released from the law that kept her rooted to the ground unless it was an emergency. Angel couldn't wait to be allowed to fly free without fear of retribution. As she watched the clouds she let out a little sigh.

"You know little guy I was once like you. I was at the mercy of a horrible human man's whims who always treated me horribly. I know what it's like to long for decent food, and for love and affection. It wasn't too long ago that I found what you would call a mate who in her own special way gives me the love i've longed for. She can be so shy and withdrawn, but when she does smile or laugh it absolutely lights up any area she's in. I hope you can find a mate like that one day little guy."

Angel blushed softly and placed her hand upon her cheek as she thought about the many hugs, kisses, and even the few little laughs she had shared with Miyami before letting her mind drift to the time when she had sung to her on a small stage to express her love. This lead to Angel to pull her phone back out to pull up its music player where she pulled up the Japanese version of the song "Make you mine" by the band PUBLIC, but before hitting play she stroked the creature's fur a bit more.

"I once sang her a song to make her happy, and share my feelings for her. Let me sing it to you too while we wait!"

Angel then hit play on the song, and as it started she began to sing happily. Her voice carried the melody well and sounded nice since she had been practicing. She only hoped the creature liked it too as she stroked its fure.
