“Aw you should have seen her! She and the hounds were incredible today-!”
Catching up with his friend afterschool, Casper was perhaps a little ‘deep’ in his usual rabbit hole after having caught a passing glimpse of a hero in action on the way to their agreed meet up afterschool. He might have er… kept her waiting a good, 20 minutes maybe? But he was sadly oblivious to that right now as the hype of seeing a hero in action was still filling his system. His usually more nervous and ‘lowered head’ dispositions obliterated as, with his stature and build, he was looking more like an excited kid, his legs actually kicking a little under the table they were sharing while waiting for orders of drinks or little snacks before grabbing the trains home.
“Hellhound was all slamming into the scene like-“ He swooped his hand down to the table, then pulled it back like a claw as it made impact to represent the “Bwaaaaah!-“ Explosion. “And her flames shot out and ran through her hair and everything. She looked like a monster but like in a cool way! I can see how she had the stones to go up against RedHorn when she… erm…” There was some mild hesitation there but the momentum in his system and the hype in his brain trying to burn those memories deep into his skull carried him forward, shaking off the brief loss of pace as he tried to gloss over the incident he was recalling with Ari present. “A-anyway. So she was up against some basic criminals for the most part, but there was this one guy who basically had a head and neck like a snake, and he used fire too! He musta thought he was really powerful cause he swaggered up to her all cool and calm and then Hellhound just tanked it! Like she basically just stood there and let all the fire wash over her and ahhhhh! It was so cool!~”
He lightly pounded his arms on the table, one of the waitresses that had been passing noticed some of the other tables starting to look at his and Ari’s, giving him a calm but somewhat stern expression. She could tell he seemed to at least be old enough to hold a more ‘equal’ conversation with but the way she started definitely gave the mildest vibe he was being spoken down to. “Young man do you mind-“
“O-oh. Yeah er…” He turned a little more sheepish, rubbing the back of his neck as his free hand grabbed the edge of his seat. “S-sorry just… came in a little excited. I’ll calm down…”
