It has been a while since he last saw his mother and since he came home. So much had happened since he joined U.A., Bura wondered how he survived this long. But then again, he has always been a tough kid and trooper-one that his father would've loved him. Bura sometimes wondered how things would be if his father is still around. Even though Bura has never met the man-Bura missed the dad, he never got to meet. Isn't it silly how that is? Missing somebody you got to meet. [break][break] Bura, after a few moments of thinking, finally let out a sigh and used his key to let himself into his house. And---Wait, what this? Bura's eyes widen as he saw another pair of shoes at the entrance that he has never seen before. They were so big that they were bigger than his pair of shoes. Bura couldn't help but mentally compare the shoes-men shoes. Bura blinks before he pulls off his pair of shoes and puts them next to his mother's. Bura's let out a yawn and stretched as he lets himself into the kitchen and---- [break][break] Bura froze up as he walks into the kitchen, and he saw two horned figured, one set of horns he knows well as his mother's. But the man's horns caused Bura to freeze up as he only saw them in photographs. The two haven't noticed him yet- so Bura lingered around the corner and listened. "Baru-You can't just take him away-he doesn't even know you as a person-let alone as his father" Bura's mother words hit him hard as his eyes widened. But he kept quiet as they talked some more-"Marie, please, it's not safe here for our son or you-fuck barely for me-" The man's low voice rumbled as he stopped midsentence as he caught sight of Bura. [breal][break] The two paused, and his mother must've been confused until she turned around and spotted him watching. "Bura, when did you get home?" His mom asked him as she walked over to him as she places her hands on his face, and she pressed her forehead against his own. A comforting action for him as much as for her. The man Bura has since figured out is his father, Baruba Buruburu, moved in closer to the pair and placed a large hand on his head. [break][break] "Bura, my son, it's wonderful to meet you, my boy." His father said as he ruffled Bura's hair playfully with caused his mother to pout as he accidentally ruffled her hair too while doing so. His father let out a hearty chuckle at his mother's pout, and Bura couldn't help but feel weird about this whole thing since he didn't quite know how to process this all. But Bura couldn't help but smile at the idea of this having a father-even if it didn't feel quite real and it's all so much too take in. [break][break] Bura's father chuckled harder as he saw his son's smile sheepishly and his wife, pouting cutely. Bura's father relaxed expression turned grim for a moment looks away from the two of them. Bura couldn't help but figured it was due to how much he missed. Bura's father noticed his staring and renewed his smile, and now that he got a closer look at his father's face- he was still young, admittedly to have a teenage son, he had darker skin versus his mother who had fairer skin. His father had an eye patch and was wearing traditional Indian style clothing. He looked like his father Bura had to admit. All except for his mother's white wooly hair. [break][break] Bura then finally said something. "So, um dad?" Bura says, which caused his father's expression to turn brighter, and from a casual glance to his mother, she seemed to be getting a little emotional about hearing Bura say it without prompting even if this is an emotional rollercoaster right now. Bura looked back to his father and asked, "So uh-dad? I, uh, aren't you supposed to be dead?" Bura curiously yet awkwardly asked. [break][break] Bura's father let out a small sigh not out of annoyance or anything but maybe for a different reason. "It's complicated, very complicated," His father let out almost in a tired and defeated tone about the subject matter. Bura looked a bit unsure of where to go from here, but Bura let out a small sigh and bluntly asked since the deafening silence was getting a bit much. "So, uh, are you going to stay here or---?" Bura says before he got interrupted as a large pair of arms wrapped around Bura's body as his father hugged him tightly. [break][break] Bura froze up in the hug-but to hug somebody larger than himself was strange but not unwelcomed. Bura let himself melt into the hug-he didn't know how much he needed a hug from a father until this just moment. Bura's mother, without a moment's hesitation, joined the hug--- when was the last time he hugged his mother? [break][break] Bura tightens his grip on his father and lets out a shaky sigh as his father and mother hugged him in a familiar embrace he never got to get as a child, but he gets right now. [break][break] Suddenly, his father asked him a life-defining question at this very moment. [break][break] "Bura, how would you feel about moving to India with me?" |
