[attr="class","oneword1"] [attr="class","fromyou1"] @name Lets have ourselves a little fun~
you have my attention, dearie
[attr="class","itsover1"] A roar shuddered over the arena with a tremor following just behind. A cacophony of sound shattered what had for a moment been an uneasy silence. Crowds had gathered to watch in mixed horror and curiosity as criminals bloodied themselves for one purpose and one purpose alone. To impress the wicked creature that sat in the elevated VIP stands, overlooking the ring. She was... all white. Her body glowed with an unearthly pale halo and her hair fluttered around her as if caught in an unseen wind. Her eyes glowed a bright lavender, maybe a pink, it was hard to tell, one could hardly even see her facial features if you weren't close enough. Not that it mattered with the heavy respirator she wore over her face.
Ishtar.
The self-proclaimed White Queen of Villains looked down at the fight on display with mute interest. Never moving even as other villains, movers and shakers of the underworld no doubt, stopped to sit with her in the VIP section. Some leaned in to whisper, commenting. He looked up at her, breathing hard, his eyes sunken slightly from the pain he'd endured. The wound wasn't bad, but he definitely would need treatment after this. He swallowed a bubbling up of saliva and looked down at his opponent. The other man had introduced himself as "Goliath" and had the body to match. Nearly eight feet tall, his quirk let him take on golem like traits. A man of stone. But he'd prevailed. His vibrations had burst through Goliath's defenses. He'd won.
"Your name?" The voice was... so cold. He felt his insides twist. He felt the sudden urge to stare at the ground and never tilt his head up again. Like that voice alone was enough to sentence him to the depths of hell. He swallowed, gripping his fists tight, "...well? Look at me when I am speaking..." Like... a bloody dagger raking across a sheet of ice. Worse than nails on a chalk board. It oozed malice.
He swallowed and looked up, those horrible eyes, it was like they were spinning... "...R-Richter... m-my name is Richter, ma'am..." He barked, trembling. He'd just beaten that huge man to hell... but this woman made him feel so small. He swallowed again as she regarded him.
"Get yourself cleaned up, Richter we will have words..." She said, and the silence he hadn't realized was hanging over the crowd shattered into a roar. He numbly remembered someone rushing out to grab him and urge him into a side room. He saw Goliath lifted up and taken away. He didn't even notice when they laid him down to treat him. Wait, what?
Outside, Ishtar smiled beneath her mask, this had been easier than she'd thought. Some of them had come here to show off to one another. Others had come to show off specifically to her. Regardless, the number of villains in Japan had skyrocketed in the past six months and many of the Fuchu escapees were at the point that they could stand on their own two feet. It was time to inspect the results of her actions, to harvest her carefully sown crop and find not only new additions to her inner circle... but more importantly...
Her expression thinned and she raised a hand; her voice echoing.
"Richter has won that bout! But we are not done! Come! Whomever you may be! Let us see you demonstrate the limits of Meta Humanity!" She bellowed, sitting back down and crossing her legs. Two more entered, the two both strode up to the center and faced her, standing like statues amidst the dirt floor and raised their fists, each introducing themselves with their code names. They then turned on one another and it was not long before both lay on the ground, beaten. Ishtar called for someone to take them away before urging the next pair to enter.
"...imbeciles..." She murmured, crossing her legs; she glanced to her right when a few of her associates mentioned security, were the heroes here already? They weren't stupid enough to enter the underground city in force, it could start a war. The damage to tokyo wasn't worth risking a direct confrontation between heroes and villains. They knew better and Red Horn knew that Ishtar had no interest in fighting a direct war. She'd speak reason. Ishtar smiled and narrowed her eyes, watching the doors open again.
"Who's next?"

Niso wasn't entirely sure why Ishtar had arranged this series of bouts. From how she'd interacted with the last winner it seemed like she wanted to have some sort of contest to see who was worth talking to. While Niso had his own means of connecting with Ishtar through Luzia or heck even parasyte technically, he didn't like relying on those broader connections. Especially not now. His hands tensed into fists at his sides as he watched the next two idiots fight it out from the back of the room... in truth he wasn't entirely sure if he was here to impress Ishtar in some way, or if he was here for something more personal. Parasyte had been a good distraction, cartoons, movies... but the worse his guilt had become the more Niso needed something else. Something more engaging, more... numbing.
When Ishtar brushed aside the two idiots who KO'd eachother, he realized that she was looking for clear winners left standing by the end of their fights. Niso scoffed and pushed forward. He was a scrawny creature on the surface perhaps, shoving himself to the front of the crowd, but he knew what he was about. He knew what he could endure and what he could survive and so he didn't even hesitate on his chance to take on a fight. Someone else, an 'official' competitor may have just been about to take the field, but emerging from the crowd instead Niso rose his hand.
"I'd like a go." He chimed with a lazy smile, ignoring any complaints from whoever he'd cut off from entering on his side of the crowd. Dressed in a loose, white shirt and simple black pants he didn't exactly have the appearance of a villain, but he held his chin high all the same, giving an eccentric flourish of his hand and bowing his head deeply. "Niso Konto at your service... the stupid government still calls me Pinocchio but I'd prefer if you all didn't.~" His words were distant, clearly focused on the moment he stood in but somehow seeming so far away at the same time. His eyes turned to the other side of the makeshift arena, wondering who might turn up to try and challenge him in a fight. Not that he was going to be scared whoever it was. Niso knew well enough that he could survive any vigilante, any villain on the market... he couldn't assure a victory, but when pain meant so little to you something like this hardly caused a worry.

"Training, training, thats all this was." Maségo reminded herself as she heard the roar of the crowd erupt on the other side of the doors. From what she could manage to hear the fight had been well fought with both victors putting in their all into the bout. That was what Maségo would want from her match. She had heard about this from the information network her family had and decided that real life combat experience was always something that she could use. Of course there was the threat of things being taken too far, but if she surrendered surely there would be someone who would honor that respect? Checking herself for her weapons she made note of the ones she had decided to bring. Six kunai for her mid range attacks, ten shuriken for her long range and finally her tanto for close range. As per her training each stock of weapons had been concealed along her outfit, hidden so as to keep the art of surprise on her enemy. Patting her face as she heard the announcer bring forth her opponent a man looked to her and tapped a clipboard. "Whats your name?"She hesitated. "Betty."And with that her doors opened and she walked out with a confident stride. The lights were bright on this arena of battle and she would do her best to shine. Winning was not the goal but to do her best and learn from the experience of fighting when your life was on the line. Deep down she wanted to know that surrender was an option but her journey to this deep seeded place told her differently. As did the bloodstains on the floor leftovers from the last match. No, she was ninja. There was no way this opponent could stand up to years of tradition and skill refined over the years. There was a reason why the ideals and styles had lasted this long and would continue to long after many of current regime have died. There was resilience in her techniques and strength in her conviction, even as she looked at her opponent who looked just about her height and age she gauged whether what lengths he was willing to go to in order to be perceived as the winner. "Let's have a good match for everyone to see."She would say with a smile, a hand out stretched for a handshake. Her remaining hand at her side, itching to throw the kunai hidden at her waist the moment the boy moved. [choosing to be a fighter] She is not a hero yet, despite the character app border. Just a regular citizen with a quirk until her saga is complete

It hadn't been a complete lie when she'd told Qiara that she was attending a fund-raising event tonight. Kado, from her seat in the VIP section beside Ishtar, observed money trading hands between several people as the fights and bouts proceeded over the course of the evening.
Funds were definitely being raised tonight. When the man called Richter gave his name, and was then summarily dismissed, the masked and cloaked red head couldn't help but lean over slightly towards the silver haired woman.
"I think you almost made that one piss himself." she said softly so as only Ishtar would hear her, the smirk behind her mask present in her tone and words. "On a slightly somewhat more serious note... does this count as a second date?" Kado quietly asked, wondering if she could break the ice queen's facade for even just a moment. It was one of the few perks of wearing a full face mask compared to Sonya's half face respirator... nobody could see her face drop its persona.
When the next two combatants literally knocked each other out, she simply shook her head in dismay. "Well, they might make good footsoldiers..." Kado mused before seeing who was coming up to fight next. Niso and he was going up against some kind of ninja garbed lady... "I almost feel bad for her. Let's hope she isn't just playing dress up, and actually has some skills to back it up..." she said with a sigh and a shrug of her shoulders, watching the poor girl offer the "immortal" teen a handshake.
Kado wondered if Niso would go for kill strikes, or if he'd just try to toy with his opponent. It was almost hard to tell with him if he was playing or being serious. Especially with how twisted his Quirk could make him for an opponent to face against.

| if some night you're free Wanna fight for me? |
There was a child in the VIP section of the battle, kicking her legs too and fro and playing with the braids in her hair. It probably got more than a few confused looks from strangers, but she wasn't bothered by it--nor did she really care to start with honestly. She'd come along because it would be fun to watch the people she liked have fun! Even if that "fun" was violently going at one another to the best of their abilities. He'd dropped her off with the standard promise of being nearby, and she did have her phone on her if she needed to go, but Byeol-Su didn't think she'd need some sort of rescue from here even if things got too bloody.
She wasn't really here for the fights. Just for the company.
Which in a sense was more fucked up than the violence itself.
"Ishtar, Ishtar," she chirped up as the next combatants came in, and her smile was wide enough that it stretched her face in a most unnatural way, "Want some candy? Pocky? Apollo's?" She held up her frog-shaped purse which was, in fact, full up of boxed candies and chocolate. Look, it was a spectacle, and spectacles needed snacks, so she'd been sure to bring some! And she knew Ishtar liked candy. Sure she was supposed to be acting all big and scary right now but that didn't mean she couldn't eat. "I brought a lot! Oh, was that big guy still alive? His name was stupid. Made me think of that vigilante bug man. He should change it. If he lived."
As a familiar individual stepped into the ring Byeol-Su's mismatched eyes went wide and she hopped up onto her seat to stand and see better. Was--yes it was! "Niso! Hi Niso!" She squeaked and waved her arm over her head. She doubted he'd be able to hear her over the crowd but since she was so close to Ishtar, maybe he could see her? She hoped he saw her! She looked back at Ishtar and giggled as she sat down. "I didn't know he was here! Do you think he'll kill that one? Oh, Verdure--" she tipped forward enough to see the woman next to Ishtar, "--want any candy, too?" All of her excitement aside, she was a little worried about Niso being here. If he was here, and she was here, was Luzia alone? Well...she should be okay, she hadn't exactly been in a dangerous state last she'd seen her, just a sort of sad one. He should have been by her side to help her...but everyone needed a break from the sad things to have fun, right? Otherwise they'd go crazy. She couldn't fault him for wanting to beat or kill somebody. It was as good a stress reliever as anything else, she reasoned. [smear:#811313]If Luzia had her Quirk working, I bet she would have loved to do this, too. Maybe they could have been a team? Or they could have fought, in a fun way. Oh, thinking about that makes me sad...[/smear:#d11e58:1][Observer]

When a foe came up to the plate Niso took a few slow breaths, slower than they had any right to be for someone who actually needed to fill their lungs. His eyes turned oddly cold despite his eccentricity a moment ago and the usual child like innocence behind the psychotic layer of his distant smile faded away. His expression alone almost seemed to add 5 years onto his potential age, going from someone who could potentially pass for a 15 year old to 20 at least, maybe older just from the harshness of his gaze.
Whoever this was before him either wasn't taking him seriously or they were thinking they could get the one up with such a simple ploy... but as Niso realized that his smile started to return. There was still a cold harshness to his gaze, his age more in line with the truth of the matter, his body having stopped aging when he was about 18 thanks to the constant regenerative nature and shapeshifting aspects of his quirk, he opened his arms up, with a more lax smile than before. "A pleasure to meet you Betty. Don't mind if I-"
Niso was off. As far as he was concerned the battle had started and he scooped in low as he sprinted the distance between them. If the kunai where to come he wouldn't even hesitate in the face of them, tanking them directly. One may have even embedded in his shoulder but his muscle fibres re-arranges themselves around the joint, making sure he wouldn't lose any mobility from the damage at such a key point, just shifting away from the blade altogether, his skin and blood vessels acting as no more than a protective layer to absorb the damage of the weapon. As he came in to close the distance, he flexed out his right palm. The skin began to bubble as he forced blood to pump in one direction, collecting in a pocket under his skin. He forced his cells to rapidly develop fever symptoms, heating the blood within, and with a bubble of vaporized blood resting in his palm-
CLAP
Right in her face if he could manage it, purposely popping his own skin like the worlds most oversized blister, the heated blood he'd collected there splashed right in the face of the woman ahead of him, a nearly vaporized spray filling the air. He wasn't here just to vent his frustrations... he was here to test something...!

The crowd noise seemed to point to them already having a favorite. Maségo not worried about gaining their approval. Her true focus however was on the boy in front of her. His appearance spoke of your average young boy. Though no one "average" would easily find themselves in this type of situation. Then came his glare. Maségo watched as the boy aged right before her eyes experience and trauma screamed from behind the eyes of his opponent. Immediately she began to think that this was not something that she would be able to win, and that her only chance was to survive until someone gave the order to stop. She was not a coward, simply working on her ability to access whenever she was in over her head in any situation she faced. This was one of those moments where one would run and live to fight another day, and yet still she wanted to test her capabilities against someone so seasoned.
The open hands when faced against an opponent told Maségo that he had little care for his well-being. That or he knew that nothing she could do would harm him. Was that overconfidence? No judging from those eyes she knew this boy had fought and probably killed before. Everything about him was serious even when he acted as though it was not. That is why when he immediately darted for her, Maségo mentally cursed. She had let her opponent get the upper-hand and take the lead. She was now on the backstep and would have to play catch-up in this aggressive chess match she and the boy had just started.
2 kunai would shoot out from Maségo's position as she tried to leap backwards to gain some distance. The boy did not even bother to dodge as the one kunai missed, while the other embedded itself into his shoulder. The naive ninja had no time to be happy about her semi-successful attack however as her opponent thrust his hand in front of her face. It all happened in a moment, but what she saw as a blister larger than any she had ever seen grow and then...
POP!
Vaporized blood would of enveloped her mid-jump as she fumbled with her weapons, 3 of her shuriken falling to the floor as she pulled out her tanto. Close combat was not her specialty but she knew that with a bladed weapon she might gain a small edge against the boy. Rubbing at her eyes with the backside of her left hand she would clear the vapor away from blocking her vision just enough to get sights on her target. Subtly she would point in his direction activating her quirk on the kunai that had embedded itself into his shoulder. Normally with Niso the kunai would have been pushed out due to his quirk something Maségo would have no knowledge of. However with the usage of her quirk, the young ninja would aim to keep the kunai there and go as far as to magnetically spin it and push it further into the boy's body.
-Tries not to get drawn in to Niso's nice persona - Loses the advantage and tosses 2 kunai, 1 missing the other finding purchase in Niso's shoulder - Jumps backwards but is too slow and is hit by "Blood Vapor" suffering "weakness" str/dmg down 3rounds - Shock from the attack causes her to be clumsy when pulling out her sword, dropping 3 shuriken - Uses her quirk on the kunai in Niso's shoulder to spin it in an attempt to drive it deeper into his body.
