"Mmm... Nothing huh? Guess I shouldn't complain..."
Scrolling through the chat function on what probably shouldn't be his favorite app, a mild sadness glazed over Casper's eyes. He knew he shouldn't be dissapointed but... dammit he was. This particular app was designed to tap into police frequences and drop alerts whenever there was news of a hero heading towards a crime scene or another sort of incident or the like. It was an easy way to try and keep up to date on the live action, know how quick some heroes could be, where they excelled... and of course it's key use of literally trying to run to the danger just to get a good view of the heroes doing something cool... he shouldn't be dissapointed it seemed to be a quiet day for crime but... he was. There was a disconnect maybe, wanting to see those heroes in action above all else...
He shook his head, clearing his thoughts and finally catching the beat in his headphones again. How long had he been walking for looking at his phone...? A-ah crap he'd went down a wrong turn or... maybe he didn't take a turn he should have? Either way he knew he shoudln't have been down this particular street. Not on the day he got his allowance...
His eyes drifted across the different manga stores and model workshops, the tech stores and the maid cafe (he may have lowered his head to avoid the girl who was trying to usher more guests in for that one). Ugh. Yeah, with his money resting in his pocket he should probably run before he ended up wasting money he shouldn't...
He caught sight of somone walking out of a store, a larger guy carrying a carboard box and placing it by the door, slapping a nice big '50 percent off' sticker on it...
Maybe just... a peek...?
Easing himself closer, he glanced left and right like he was about to take part in some shady drug deal or something, calming his breaths as he got close, seeing a tonne of loose rolled up posters in the box. Seemed they were clearing up the posters they were no longer gonna be putting up in the store themselves... well they were 50 percent off so a peek wouldn't hurt his wallet too much if he gave.
"Serperior.... oh this is from back when he was a vigilante... I..." His gaze narrowed. "Is that witch doctor? Ugh I know she likes her privacy but how do you justify a blurry shot like this.... oh...!"
He picked up his next poster, rolling out out, a powerful shot of the hero Ultra Violet slamming her leg across the face of some titanic villain. It was such a good shot too! God did they fly a drone into the middle of the battle? Was it some super good lens? Ah heck it could be worth it... there was a hole in the top where a tac had been used to pin it to the wall already but he could live with such a small imperfection for such an awesome shot...!
But... should he really? He lingered outside the store, staring perhaps longer than he should have trying to make a decision...

He had spent quite some time in Japan, but had never actually stepped foot in the "merchant city" as it were that was Akihabara. And honestly... the albino was starting to get the notion as to why he hadn't. What the fuck were all these prices?! For little plastic figures, or giant plastic models, and pillow cases with cartoon characters on them in poses that... Gabriel worked unofficially as security for a brothel in Kabukicho and even he was tilting his head a little trying to figure this shit out he was seeing.
"Half these poses aren't even possible... Unless you've got a Quirk like that bastard from a while ago." he mused to himself, thinking about Niso as he continued to walk down the streets, his eyes taking in the myriad of inane and asinine views. The fact that there were other Westerners here who were getting all giddy about some of this stuff though... Was it something he had missed out on or something? Not that he could afford most of the crap these people were selling mind you.
A large box with a fifty percent sticker slapped on it caught his attention though, with a kid looking through what looked like posters. The sight didn't seem that unusual for this kind of place, but the way the kid was finding themselves staring at one poster in particular... Well, Gabriel found himself caught up in some curiosity of his own and went to take a look.
The albino teen leaned over the kids shoulder to take a look. "Huh, not a bad picture. Kind of hard to get a pic like this in the middle of a fight." he mused, looking over the various details in the image. "Fuck, you can almost even make out people in the crowd too. And this guys selling it for half off?" Gabriel asked, chuckling and shaking his head at the end.

Casper had been admiring the image rather intensely. A lot of heroes didn't do official merchandise so stuff like this was on the level of paparazi selling photos to magazines, so to have something that was this high quality, such a great timed shot almost as if it had been posed for... though from the look on the badguys face he doubted they'd have-
"GAGH!"
Casper had to fight his instinct to flail his arms as someone's voice over his shoulder broke him out of his trance, trying very hard not to tear the poster in his hands. He did end up scrunching it a bit as his limbs tightened up in shock but at the very least he could iron damage like that out, his heart pounding and letting out a deep sigh as he looked over his shoulder to the person who'd snuck up on him there... he got this vague feeling of familiarity but something just wasn't quite clicking there, leaving him with the time he needed to just let his heart calm down behind his ribs.
"S-sorry I... I frighten pretty easily." He admitted, finally un-scrumpling the poster in his hands and looking over it... there was a bit of damage from his surprise but, again, nothing he couldn't live with if he managed to iron it out. He glanced back across to the stranger who'd snuck up on him like that. "Y-yeah they were... you can see here-" It was a little harder to see now but he was pointing to the small hole in the top of the poster. "That it was probably hanging up in the store previously. They're not allowed to sell it full price cause it's technically used but... well places like this keep them pretty high quality ya know? S-so it still seems pretty worth it..." He glanced up after glancing at the poster again. "Are you... interested in hero stuff?"

Speaking of Hero stuff, there was Junko who was doing a round of patrolling. After all she was Blue Agate. Today she took a route that went through Akihabara. She had to make sure there was no trouble or villainy afoot. You would be surprised how many crimes does Tokyo hide. How many villains or lowly scum does it have. And it was her job to root out and terminate villainy of any sort. Same goes for Vigilantism. She was not one of the heroes that was tolerable to vigilantes. They took laws in their own hands, while they hypocritically work outside it. How disguisting. And so if need be she will stomp it out.
As she was walking, keeping her eyes alert and while being alert all around, she heard a yelp or a yell "GAGH!" which alerted the pro hero to check out what was happening. Was there a child in woe? But as she arrived to the scene of the supposed crime, she just saw some guy and some kid looking at posters "Oh?" well, she didnt know Gabriel was a Vigilante. She approached the duo and she asked the young one "Is everything alright?" she asked young Casper. She had no idea what they were doing, but she heard a yelp and she had to check it out

Gabriel snorted in amusement as the kid yelped. "Heh, sorry kid. Didn't mean to break your focus." the albino teen remarked. When the kid explained he frightened easily, Gabriel gave a shrug. "Fair enough. I tend to get that reaction with my Quirk anyway so I'm used to it." he explained, waving away the kids timidness.
He leaned in a little bit closer to see where the kid was pointing to on the poster, raising an eyebrow at the small pin hole present in the poster. "So just cus of that one little hole, it gets half the price cut off from it? Just like that?" he asked, completely dumbfounded. The lengths people will go to for collectibles is compltely unreal...
Before he could answer the question the kid posed him though, some giant blue woman arrived on the scene. Whilst she asked the kid if everything was alright, no doubt drawn in by his earlier yelping, Gabriel gave her a quick eyeball as he tried to place her. Could be that she's just a concerned adult, but with the way she was dressed in almost like a uniform... More likely she was some sort of official.
No badges that he could see on her, so definitely not police. And Gabriel highly doubted that the Japanese Special Defence Forces members went around in a uniform like hers, so that left the professional heroes. Now, who did he know was a blue skinned hero with white and lavender hair? The diamond designs on her outfit gave him a hint as to it being something to do with gemstones...
Blue Agate! That was it. He mentally groaned and grumbled. From what rumours he'd heard in Kabukicho, Agate was an absolute ball cracker when it came to anyone breaking the rules. No exceptions. Villains, vigilantes, all the same in her book... Which meant he was going to have to be on his absolute best behaviour, especially if some Anti-Quirker bastard turned up.
Admittedly having someone as obviously Quirked as this lady was here at the moment would probably act like a magnet for them... Especially in a tourist trap like Akihabara. Better play it safe for the time being all the same. "Eh, kinda yes and no about hero stuff." he said, in answer to the kids earlier question about him being interested in hero stuff.
"Personally, I think they could do a bit more if their hands weren't so tied down." he said with a shrug. "I mean, they do a bit of good sure... But they can only officially act if someone uses a Quirk if I understand right. Where does that leave them if, for example, they saw a non-Quirker beating up a Quirker?" Gabriel mused, finding himself unable to resist sending the stuffy hero a verbal shot.
He was probably going to regret it, but hey ho. Not like she can do anything so long as he doesn't break any laws or shit. Plus if he had to, he could trigger his Quirk and get the fuck out of there.

Casper wasn't deterred by the questioning aimed at whether the pricing for the poster was correct, nodding along like this was pretty normal. As a collector of figurines and merchandise like this it wasn't something that was all that uncommon for him. "Mint condition is really important for collectors sometimes. P-personally I just like displaying it and sometimes maybe er... positioning the figurines like it's a fun fight scene b-but erm... point being even small damage like this, or the fact they were taken out of their initial sleeves is part of why they're half price. It'd be like taking a star wars toy out of the packaging or erm... selling a game without the case! I mean the moment a game is used it can lose a good chunk of it's price too right? Same thing here."
Casper looked over the poster again before starting to roll it up, hearing someone else seeming to address him. Ugh, had he screamed that loud that he'd attracted a police... off...icer....
"..." Casper stood in place, dumbfounded by what he was looking at. It wasn't unusual for heroes to be out on patrol but to be face to face with one like this had his brain going into overdrive. His hands nearly clenched tight around the poster again but he managed to resist that instinct, trying to keep it safe now that he'd decided to buy it, swallowing back against the dry sensation in his mouth. "B-blue Agate.... B-blue agate! Er! Yes! I'm fine! Everythings fine! I... I erm...!" Oh crap! He whirled around and drew his bag to his front, opening it up and digging into it and pulling out a generic notepad he'd been using for school. "B-blue Agate I'm so sorry I don't have my usual autograph book on me. W-would you mind...?"
Whatever Agate chose to do, Casper wouldn't be rude and dismiss the albino man entirely, looking back towards him as he talked about heroes being tied down. He shook his head slowly. "I... I don't think that's how it works? H-heroes are basically law enforcement. If a car is going wild a hero can rush in infront of it to stop it. I mean, o-only 20 percent of people have quirks, so it'd be kinda weird if they could only deal with 20 percent of the crime right...?" He realized a hero was in their presence, gulping. "S-sorry at least... I think that's right? I-I think?"

Junko saw a boy and a white haired young man. It looked like they were looking at posters, but still one yelped and Junko had to check it out. It was best to be safe. The white haired lad spoke first, presumably answering the boys question. But the way he spoke, she knew he wanted to throw some shade at heroes. "Whether it is a non quirker beating up a quirker or vice versa is irrelevant. What you are essentially describing is an act of assault. And if I have to define the word, an assault is the act of inflicting physical harm or unwanted physical contact upon a person. It is both a crime and a tort and, therefore, will result in criminal prosecution, civil liability, or both. If I see anyone assaulting anyone. I arrest them" Junko answered the white haired one. So she proved him wrong. Their hands are not tied down. Its still law breaking and its her duty to stop it. She did shoot him an annoyed glance, as she was disguisted he mused such a thing so carelessly for a simple 'shot' at her.
After she dealt with that rude person, she turned to the boy. He looked a lil stunned... or spooked? She approached him "Are you alright?" she asked him once again. She did ease up and wasnt as strict sounding as she was with the white haired Vigilante. The boy stuttered as he spoke her hero name and then he eventually answered that he was fine. That was good. Maybe he was just shy. He then whirled around and drew his bag up front and opened it up. He took out a notepad and asked for an autograph of all things. It surprised her. It stunned her. She most certainly didnt expect that. "O-oh... Very well" she answered and reached for the back of her head and took out a pen from her gemstone "To whom am I dedicating this?" she politely and respectfully asked. Once Casper gave his name to her. She wrote her autograph To Casper From Blue Agate
"There you go, young man" she spoke

Gabriel shrugged non-chalantly as the blue skinned hero gave a rather officious explanation of what she can and cannot do within the confines of the law. And yeah, seems the rumours about this one were on the mark. The way Agate talked was almost as if she were quoting directly from a textbook or something. "My apologies then. I don't get much in the way of an education in legal matters." he said with a very slight bow of his head.
The fact that she actually shot him what could only be described as an annoyed glance though, showed something that he hadn't heard about. She had a temper. Or at the very least, one when concerned with the law and upholding it. That could come in handy if he ever had to deal with her in a less... civil capacity in the future.
The albino briefly wondered how she'd react to the fact that he was legally dead, but decided against bringing it up. For all Gabriel could guess, Agate would probably either try to make the legality into reality, OR haul his arse off to a prison cell to await not only legal papers to render him "alive" and then go through the whole meandering process of booting him out of Japan and back to the United Kingdom.
Or both if he really ticked her off. He watched her reaction to being asked for an autograph, and briefly smirked. Seems that despite her tied position in the nations rankings, she wasn't that popular a figure to be asked for autographs by random people in the street, let alone children.
One thing to note though was how she just used her Quirk right now. She pulled a pen out from some kind of gemstone in the back of her head... Some kind of pocket space for items probably. <I wonder what would happen if it could be cracked?> Gabriel thought to himself. Priority goal in facing this hero would be of course to ensure she doesn't get near the back of her head, so either restraining her or breaking her arms would be the sound choice if he ever had to fight her in the future.
<That or shove a blanket over her head like a bird and block it that way.> he thought with a mild chuckle. But back to the original matter at hand, Gabriel returned his focus to the poster that they had been observing. "I'd get grabbing that poster if I were you. Never know who might swoop in and grab it whilst you're getting the Number Five slash Six's autograph." the albino mused. It was a very good mid-battle picture, but he wasn't about to be the one to snatch it from a kids grasp just cus he wasn't paying attention right now.

Casper felt a little tense when Blue agate was somewhat lecturing the person who'd initially approached him and spoke to him, if there was one thing you could say he lacked it was easy to argue that thing was a backbone. He tried not to speak up and put the spotlight on himself but it was clear the animosity briefly held between the two wasn't making him the most comfortable, but that easily started to fade when he got the autograph. It was simple, to the point, no personalized message but that was very much blue agate's style. A no nonsense, by the book hero. "T-thank you ma'am, I'll slip this into my autograph book when I get home."
Admiring the autograph to add to his collection for a moment, the relative stranger spoke up about the poster, something he'd nearly forgotten about after being face to face with a pro like this, a shock to his system as he realized someone else had the chance to grab it while he was freaking out. "A-ah! Right!" He rushed back to the box of used posters, pulling out the one with Ultraviolet again and... he hesitated, he shouldn't keep spending his allowance like this but... he shook his head. He wouldn't likely get an opportunity like this again easily, so he scooped up one of the posters with Blue Agate on. It wasn't as impressive a shot, just her handing over a defeated criminal to the authorities, but with Blue agate here maybe he could get her to sign it before she left. "I-I'll be right back!" He chimed, hoping Agate wasn't in a rush to go anywhere. For now he left the two of them alone and rushed into the store, quick to try and find the counter and fish the necessary yen out of his wallet.

She may sound like an open textbook, but the only person who was the open book was the white haired man himself, it was clear he just threw shots at her and wanted to get on her nerves. Also the way he asked about quirkers and non quirkers, it was clear he himself was a racist who probably wanted her approval on self defence or just wanted to hear how the heroes are helpless in some matters which was hogwash. All he got was cool and collected answers. And he got a lesson in law. As a civillian, he has the right to know the law and know he is protected. An assault is assault, no matter who commits it.
Sadly, the young boy got spooked by her elaboration of the law, but luckily she calmed him with an autograph. Normally she did not give those, but considering he was just 1 boy, she thought it was fair. No need to dash a young fans dreams. There was a proverb or a quote saying to 'never meet your heroes'. She didnt want to ruin to the boy whatever he had. Speaking about the boy, she watched him take some posters and whatnot. Basically some hero merch. She didnt comment on the merch as she wasnt that much of a fan of it. But she did wonder about one thing. She watched him look over his wallet, but she decided to chip in and help him pay for his stuff. She didnt want him to waste his money on merch of her. The least she can do is pay him and just give him a good impression. She wasnt flashy and impressive like Redhorn or Serperior. But hopefully she will be more humane in character and personality. After that, she will ask him something

Gabriel snorted in amusement as the kid realised his situation, panicked and rushed off to make his prized purchase. "Fans. Never gonna understand them." he mused when the kid was out of ear-shot. What piqued an eyebrows raising though was Agate herself heading into the store in an apparent gesture to help the kid pay for the merchandise.
Now, he could just very well let the walking talking law-book pay for her own merchandise which the kid was probably going to ask her to sign next... But that just didn't sit right with him.
"Lady I wouldn't try it." the albino called over to her. "It's the kids choice to make, and the results thereof to reap whether they be good or bad." Gabriel began to explain, crossing his arms across his chest.
"Besides, a fan's courage is something to be emboldened right? What kind of message and tone would you be setting by trying to pay for your own merch for someone else to ask you for an autograph?" he asked her, whilst also trying to help give the kid more of a spine for their decisions in his own way.
He then shrugged his shoulders, gave a half wave of his hand and began to walk away. "But what do I know? See you all around. And good luck kid." said Gabriel as he started to make his way down the rest of Akihabara's streets and doing a bit of window shopping as it were. There's got to be at least some kind of cheap buffet place up here surely and not just all these merch shops? Right?
