Danica had finished her shift at the gym, it had been a slow night and Danica got to do a bit of studying once her daily tasks were finished. Hana and G were a great set of bosses, and she felt like she was doing rather well there, she did not have to worry as much about finances and felt almost at home at the gym. Once she was done for the night, she headed out the streets and took a quick look at her phone for the time, it was nearing 9 pm and she still had a bit till curfew.
The sun had long since gone down, and with winter approaching the temperatures started to drop into their usual fall temperatures, colder at night then in the day of course, Danica wore her olive green sweater that she found to be her favorite or even considered to be lucky not that she would ever admit that aloud. She tightened her grip on her backpack strap as the wind gusted, it stole the residual warmth she had stored in her clothes from being in the gym. But in a odd way it felt refreshing. Opting to go for a short walk through the park and to take a look around at the pond in the middle she was deep in her own thoughts as she aimlessly avoided going to her dorm room. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to go there because of anything in particular, but more of the idea of the night air being nicer by the water then in her stuffy dorm room.
As she continued through the park, a few silhouettes of people roamed near her, and the soft spot lights that lit the path every so often would often reveal them to be a couple on a late night walk through the park.
Danica stopped at the small bridge that passed over the man made lake in the middle, she leaned against the side of the rail and looked into the water, small fish stayed almost perfectly still as the wind pushed ripples across the surface, it seemed even the fish were sleeping. Looking at her phone again she thought about the time zones and what time it might be back home, but she quickly dismissed it without so much as checking the time. Sliding it back into her pocket she leaned back and swung her bag off her shoulder and onto the wooden planks she stood on. Unbeknownst to her the zipper had popped open on the walk over and the bag stayed open on the ground.
Danica leaned into her hands, keeping her elbows locked on the rail and leaned face first into her own cupped hand rubbing eyes and temple, before she caught a flash of white, as a paper seemingly yanked from her open bag and started to skirt along the grass being pulled away by the gusting wind. She instantly returned to a standing position and bolted for the paper, stopping just short of running into a darkened silhouette, she quickly muttered “ whoops~ sorry!” As she left her bag there to retrieve her paper. After managing to stomp the paper to the ground and retrieve it she looked at her bag to watch it tumble over and more papers explode out of it, and start to blow across the park. This was beginning to look like the start to a bad night and possibly a lame excuse for being late for curfew.

meeting of mythic proporitions THE VOYAGE HOME FROM CAMPUS was a cold one—the sun had sunk hours prior, and a chill had crept into the air. Autumn was well on its way. As such, the blonde was wrapped in a large, pastel rainbow cardigan over a pink t-shirt and a short, black skirt. She shivered faintly, her pale, exposed legs dimpled with goosebumps.
“I daresay, Goopert,” Myrielle proclaimed, “I should have worn long-pants. It’s terribly cold, out!”
The lumbering summon beside her shifted its luminous eyes unto its master, its melting mouth giving a dispassionate “muh” in response to their master’s proclamation.
Her slender hands wrung themselves around the strap of her bag, and her breath came out in small puffs. There were a few people in the park—some of them cast wary glances at the blonde (or, more specifically, her unusual companion).
A girl was approaching—a ravenette, who was also toting a backpack. Another student, maybe?
Something fluttered from the girl’s backpack, and for a moment, Myri thought it was an animal. She let out a startled yelp, scurrying aside and covering her head. What was it?! A bird? No… paper!
The other girl lunged into action, managing to stop the paper into submission.
“Nice save!” Myrielle declared, quickly recovering from her momentary panic. And, as if inspired by the uprising of their felled comrade, suddenly a flurry of papers exploded forth, caught-up in a violent and unexpected breeze.
“Oh no! The papers!” the blonde gasped, “Goop, come on! We have a mission, now!”
The slime-monster extended its arm, only managing to snatch one paper from the air. One of a multitude.
“Come on, they’ll get away!” Myrielle called to the other girl, breaking into a light jog into the grass. Goop, all the while, would take the time to offer the captured sheet back to the girl.
“Let’s goooo!” Myrielle wooped victoriously, “Goop, you slow poke!”
The summon, bidden by Myrielle, turned and began to trundle after its master.

The Woman Danica narrowly avoided in her sudden dash for the paper complimented her save. Danica felt a little smug, her reflexes had been as good as they had ever been. She felt like she was improving a bit more every day. The Smug Feeling was washed away in an instant as she watched her backpack tip over and her binder popped open causing her notes to scatter over the field. In her haste she had not even noticed the odd goopy creature not far from her or the other woman.
The Creature responded to the command which indicated to Danica that the creature was not to be considered a danger at this time. Danica didn’t have a ton of time to think as she had to do something about her notes, this was her whole last semester, all that work, and time spent on the notes, the discomfort and suffering she had endured to make them. It was enough to almost drive Danica to use her Quirk to get the notes she knew were going to be gone. Her only real hope was to try and get as much as possible and hope she could make up for any notes that happened to elude their Grasp.
Danica busted into motion attempting to stomp a few papers to the ground and scoop them into her arms before turning and trying to find another target. She Dashed about the Field and trying to get ahold of any number of the papers as she could muster. Before stopping in the middle of the Field.
Danica took a deep breath. But she felt the build up of tears behind her eyes. All that work and it was hopeless trying to get them all. Some stary papers managed to get stuck on a near by fence, but some ended up in the pond and some ended up blowing down towards the beach. There was simply to many papers to gather and the wind scattered them about randomly. Even if they did get them all she would need to put them back in order.
Danica slumped down to her knees in the semi wet grass. And sighed loudly into the night air. Before waving her hand above her head with the few papers clenched into her fists. “its fine, let them go.” She would announce defeatedly. She didn’t want to cause the woman any distress because she felt the need to help.
Pushing off the ground and making her way back to the backpack and placed the loose papers into her bag before picking it up and heading towards the other woman, to collect what was left. “ Thankyou for trying” she would say still defeated. But at this time she was doing what she could to not tear up. And break down. Midterms were hard enough and now this.

meeting of mythic proportions MYRIELLE LIKEWISE LUNGED INTO MOTION as the runaway notes did their best to evade them, swiping at the papers as they fluttered on the breeze. It was sort-of clumsy, particularly in a dress, but the girl managed to snatch a few papers here-and-there.
Of course, in the torrent of papers, it was impossible to grasp them all. Some were crumpled, some were soaking in the pond water. Goop, at his mistress’s behest, had managed to wrangle a few papers of his own.
Since it wasn’t Myrielle’s notes on the line, she wasn’t nearly so dismayed by the diversion—in fact, it was kind-of fun! But when the girl dispassionately called-off the chase, she settled in her pursuit. Goop slowed, too. Let them go?
“Nonsense!” Myrielle proclaimed boldly, trotting over to the dismayed girl, “There’s still papers to wrangle! We can’t give-up hope!”
Myrielle extended a slender hand to the crestfallen girl, but she seemed entirely capable of rousing herself on her own. The dark-haired woman walked sullenly to retrieve her backpack, stuffing the papers in. She then returned to Myrielle, thanking her for her help and—oh, the poor thing seemed so sad! Even when she was putting her bravest face!
Myrielle pouted sympathetically, surrendering the papers she’d gathered. Goop mimicked the motion, though his hand was much bigger than any human’s hand.
“Here—I’ll gather the rest of those papers—“ Myrielle declared, “Or, at least, the ones that aren’t in the pond! Or I could get those too! Maybe we can dry them! It’ll be okay!”
She wouldn’t wait for an affirmative or negative, Myrielle would just charge into action once again, bowing periodically to pluck papers up and take them into her arms. Goop lingered near the girl, motionless and unsure.
“What year are you?” Myrielle called-out, “You have to be a student, with all these notes! I’m in college! A second year!”
Bend, scoop, run—bend, scoop, run—she was falling into quite a pattern.
“My name is Myrielle, by the way! The big guy is my friend Goop! He doesn’t talk though.”
