APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Myrielle is average height and surprisingly lithe and toned. Despite her relatively rambunctious lifestyle, she is devoid of any notable scars (for which Goop is probably to thank). One piercing per ear lobe, no tattoos.
She favors really girly clothes—predominantly dresses and skirts—because any aspiring hero should look their best, always!! She’s no stranger to pants and t-shirts either-- as long as the clothes are brightly-colored and cute, Myrielle is happy.
Contrary to her effeminate dress, Myrielle does not really act the part of a lady. She uses grand gestures, speaks and laughs a little too loudly, and seems to always be in this haphazard rush to get things done.
She has a candid face, and very expressive eyes, which makes it difficult for her to lie. But in a way, it also makes her more likable. Myrielle is free with her affections, but also her rebukes, when it comes to physically interacting with others. And despite the laws against quirk-use, Goop is almost always out, in some form or fashion. He’s her best friend!! Why would she make him hide away?!
POSITIVE
✔ confident ✔ passionate ✔ determined ✔ absolute sweetheart ✔ academically smart (surprisingly)

DISLIKES
✖ downers, or like, serious heroes/villains ✖ meanies ✖ roosters and turkeys (don’t ask) ✖ being told what to do ✖ neutral colors ✖the dark
Personality:
One of the first things a person will notice about Myrielle is that she’s brimming (and often overflowing) with energy, of which there seems to be an endless supply. Her speech and gestures are grand and enthusiastic and everyone—yes, everyone—starts as “potential friend” in her book! Doesn’t matter if you just met at the bus stop, if most reasonable people give you a wide berth, or anything else that stops most polite company from getting too friendly—unless you are flagrantly hostile, Myrielle will try to befriend you. Is she eccentric? A sweetheart? An intellectual? Borderline insane? It’s up to you, the public, to decide. Most people will attest that this energetic Theater Kid With No Outlet behavior is actually a ruse, but no—she is 100% the genuine article.
Myrielle grew-up with her nose in a book and learned, early-on, to idolize the mythic heroes of yore. And this worship of “legendary heroes” never really abated over time (much to the chagrin of her parents). Myrielle strives to embody the traits of a mythic hero, and is constantly looking for people who embody these traits as well, to join her “Round Table of Super-Best Friends”. The tenets are as follows:
There are plenty of misconceptions round Myrielle—the biggest being that she is a simpleton. She is incredibly book-smart, top-of-her-class even… just… she’s not very practical. Listen, she was super-sheltered, so her common-sense is not entirely there. Also, one would interpret her “clownish” tendencies as being indicative of resilience and a devil-may-care attitude. She’s actually a huge crybaby, and routinely struggles with anxiety. And lastly, people assume that this Energizer bunny is an endless fount of energy—but she actually needs a lot of sleep, and a lot of food, to fuel these tanks. When it’s time to replenish the stores, Myrielle is quick to snuggle-up somewhere comfortable and go to sleep. ( She’s also very, veeeeery slow to wake-up… so, approach with coffee.)

HISTORY
Myrielle was the only child of two wealthy businesspeople. Her parents were avid socialites, often leaving their daughter with a nanny or, when she was old enough, toting her along to parties with either (1) no children, or (2) children that had no interest in her. As such, Myrielle grew-up socially stunted, and learned from early-on how to amuse herself. This usually came in the form of reading and daydreaming. She also often amused her parents with tails of her imaginary friends Goop, who she usually pinned mischief on.
As such, Myrielle was ecstatic when her younger cousin Beaumont was born—and from the beginning, Myrielle insisted on sharing everything with him, even before he was old enough to actually play with Myrielle. The two quickly became close to one another thanks to their weekly visits, to the point where these playmates were almost like siblings to one another. The pair was inseparable.
Perhaps Myrielle’s love of legends and myths is what inspired a knightliness in Monty, for many of their imaginative games were colored like that. And when Monty was too ill or too weak to play, Myrielle would fill their time together with stories from her favorite books.
Monty was the first to learn the truth of Myrielle's "imaginary friend" Goop. But Myrielle swore her cousin to secrecy.
Of course, life always had a funny way of driving Myrielle into isolation, though. When the Agnes’s became friends with all of the Favagers’, Monty became fast friends with their son Colt. Though Myrielle often tagged-along with the duo, she became the squeaky third-wheel. The cousins still got quality cousin time, periodically, but mostly it was Myrielle, her books, and Goop.
And, when she reached schooling-age, Myrielle realized how socially-stunted she was upon enrollment in a prestigious private school. Rather than try to fit-in or fall silent, though, Myrielle found her own niche of weird friends and dedicated herself to her studies instead.
She thrived in theater and musicals and excelled at her studies. In her idle time (that wasn’t occupied by studying), she was writing stories and drawing and reading and spending as much quality time with Monty as possible. Myrielle lost touch with her cousin when he (and the Agnes’s), as she was really too spacey to keep in-touch with anyone digitally.
As she approached adolescence, Myrielle's reliance on an "imaginary friend" began to lose its former cuteness, and her parents insisted that she lose the habit and act more like a lady. But, lonelier than ever, Myrielle couldn't bear even the idea of losing her closest friend.
In high school, Myrielle was introduced to the “traits of an epic hero”, which she glommed-on to and treated it as tenets by which to mold herself. Through all of the usual trials and tribulations of high school, Myrielle would strive towards these goals.
This led to some contention between Myrielle and her parents. Firstly, because they wanted their daughter to be a perfect, proper lady, and none of these aspirations were very ladylike. Secondly, because of the appearance of her "imaginary" friend, who turned out to be a very real summon. They thought of it as an affliction, a mental illness, a blight upon their daughter's reputation. They wanted it gone.
Upon her recent graduation, an idea donned-on the young blonde—often, mythic heroes often traveled over vast settings. And though her family often took trips abroad, these trips hardly savored of the adventures of yore.
And, well, her younger cousin Monty was pursuing heroism in Japan. So... why not Myrielle?
It was thus that Myrielle saw fit to venture abroad to Japan, where she already knew there was extended family, in order to pursue a life as a mythic hero—like her cousin, Beaumont! She is pursuing this lifestyle under the ruse of studying abroad in Japan, and has been there for about a year. Hopefully in her ventures she can gain a little more worldliness too!
