Humming softly as she stepped onto the little stage that the handsome Serperior-sensei seemed to have set up from them and feeling like a little bit of a starlet as she did so, while the heart of the would-be heroine known as Bianca Belluci was racing as she felt like she was moving into the spotlight that was more because of excitement than anything, and honestly right now the sable siren felt like this was something that she could get rather used to. Well, I’d hardly expected to be daunted by the public, but I suppose even I could polish up my act a little more~ Stardom always something that the young woman had sought to chase down even since she was a little girl trying to do high kicks in her dance lessons, while some might have been filled with apprehension and perhaps feat at the prospects held by these mock interviews, the black beauty for one was flooded with assurance and exhilaration more than anything else; it felt like she was finally taking her first steps toward getting somewhere she’d wanted to be all her life, though today she was sharing her little podium with another, who she didn’t know. “Well then, hello there, I’m Bianca~” That again something that wasn’t all that daunting to the dazzling diva either since she was rather uses to pushing her company on others without issue, few women from Italy seemed to be lacking for social smarts and as such exemplified the nation she came from as she slipped into her chair and introduced herself with a smile and a shake of the hand if her partner was willing to indulge her once he had appeared, as she did so that gorgeous golden gaze took in the image of new companion. And honestly, she didn’t entirely dislike what she saw before her. “Ichigo, was it~? Do you mind me calling you that? I’m still get used to Japanese names, and the practices that go with them~” Those bright irises certainly appreciating the darkness and the slight sense of danger about the looks of the young man before her, while perhaps it was a cliché that bad boy vibe certainly did something for her, and helped the sparkling student to feel intrigued by him from the moment that she sat down. Which was good really, she’d be that little bit more engaging with someone who excited her. “So, hm, do you mind if I ask the questions first?” All the while forcing herself to remember that she was here on business rather than simple pleasure and as such the eagerness of the ebony haired enchantress compelling her to try to take the lead, Bianca licked her lips for a second and hummed again as she poured of the multitude of options she had for inquiry and reminded herself not ask about phone numbers or the like out of respect for the lesson, once her subject was ready and waiting the saucy second year smiled once more and relaxed into her chair to provoke a feeling of ease and comfort for both of them as she got things underway. “Let’s start with something easy, huh? Something to get things started on a nice note~? How about… What’s your proudest accomplishment~?” The tone that the teenage temptress chose one that was soft and just a little bit quieter than her usual speaking voice in order to elicit a feeling of intimacy between them, the corners of her mouth curled like a cats as she toyed with a number of inquiries she thought might have been funny to start with, but she opted for something simple and to the point as well as enlightening. A real peach of a question so that she might get the measure of the young man before her… |

The stage seems a bit excessive, but it's up to the sensei what to do with the lessons. Ichigo was never not to have the spotlight focus on him compared to his brother. Ichigo Chou was admittedly a bit of a wallflower but never admit it. The black-haired youth's heart was racing, and his head was spinning slightly from all the attention. Ichigo calmed his nerves by letting out a scoff and then a small sigh as he stood up from the wall to get a better look at the black-haired girl in the room.

The young lady was about as average of a woman was to Ichigo as they could be. She had long black hair, yellow eyes, pale skin, and about as average looking as they come. She wasn't muscular, or anything that stands out about her Ichigo thought she was admittedly plain-looking. But Ichigo didn't mind, you should never underestimate people despite how boring they look.

"Yo," Ichigo responded casually at the young woman's greeting with a simple nod as he took a seat across from Bianca without any words and one of his natural scowling expression. Bura let out a sigh as the heat from the classroom was getting to him, and he unbuttons the top two buttons on his uniform shirt and pulled down his tie a bit- wearing the uniform sucks to wear due to the collar bones piercings which were now poking out from the open shirt. Ichigo stares back at golden eyes with his own obsidian eyes.

"Yes, Ichigo is fine, and you'll get used to it eventually." Ichigo nonchalantly said as he scratches the back of his neck. He wasn't tense or anything, but the spotlight sure is bright right now.

Ichigo kept his focus on the girl across from her as he watches her ask her question, which admittedly started with an admittedly obvious question. "No, I don't mind at all." That's why we are here, after all, Is what he wanted to say but decided to keep his big mouth shut for once. She sure was doing a lot with her mouth. Which was a little weird?

"Sure." Ichigo bluntly says as he focused on Bianca's features. "Okay, sounds like a good start." Ichigo started as he brought up his claws to his chin as he looks thoughtful for a moment. "I'd say when I first made breakfast for my older brother Basil when he visited us when we were kids..." Ichigo flatly said as his expression turned into a scowl as he thought back into it. "Still pissed that my dad tried to help me make it, the old bastard considers buttered toast over the top." Ichigo muttered annoyed by the memory, but a smile grew on his features despite the annoyance. Ichigo closes his eyes and opens one of them to look at Bianca with a devilish grin. "How was that for a starting question?" Yumi sat in the seats that looked up to the stage, typically designated for drama club performances or if they wanted to hand out awards to the students, it was now being used for these interview practices which Yumi was thankfully able to act as a TA for. God this was really kind of nice, being seriously considered for such a role. She wondered if it was more her work with Asta or the fact that she'd been doing her teacher studies that had serperior take her request to help so seriously, but hey, results were results and she didn't mind whatever the reason may be for them, smiling up to the stage and making idle notes on her clipboard about how the two students approached one another.
Bianca was going to be interviewing first it seemed, she noted down how both students rocked up in school uniform, recalling how Serperior told her to mark them on what they chose to show up like. Ichigo did lose points rather quickly though the adjustments he made. She didn't want to remove marks, she knew she never wore her own uniform properly, but if she wanted to be a teacher she had to stick to the mark scheme and show she knew what she was doing. Knowing Serperior he might check the security cameras to make sure they weren't miss marking their friends or something.
Anyway, Bianca, up first. Yep. She was a little informal but she was only acting as the interviewer right now and from little experience she'd had of them this was pretty much just how they acted, very open, playful, a little flirtatious. She leaned back in her seat as the introductions got done, dressed a little differently herself since she was acting as a TA. White shirt, grey blazer and matching pencil skirt. Trying to seem a little more mature and professional, even choosing to wear her glasses rather than her contacts.
Opening question was an easy one buuuuut she did note that Ichigo was answering it fairly casually. She didn't wanna be too harsh from the start so she kept her work to herself for now, thinking she'd re-mark that question later once he gave some examples of how he worked after a bit of advice. She let him go on though, smirking as he gave a more personal memory. It wasn't getting into UA or anything, it was wholesome and sweet in it's own way, but she needed to make some comments.
"Okay guys, great start. Firstly I just want to remind you we should be acting like this interview is televised, live even. No edits, no cuts, so when you go to answer a question you should try and come off more prepared even if you don't know the question coming to you. So the 'okay, sounds good'- is a bit bland for an opener like that. Comes off more like a casual chat than a formal interview so whether you go more formal or more theatrical, I'd advise shifting your methods at least a little."
As far as the question itself...
"I liked the answer though. Could have done without the cursing but those are hard things to remove from your vocabulary sometimes. I'd maybe advise adding more to such an answer, sure its your proudest memory and it might be easy for someone to guess or give their own ideas as to why, but why not give that context yourself." She raised a hand. "Now I'm not saying do that now, these are all tips to help you develop going forward, so let's focus on the next question. If you don't mind Bianca?~"

She stole my heart by showing me nothing more than her smile Rather rough around the edges, but a warm and surprising story, it was nice… The brows of the black haired beauty lifting when the tale that she was told was not one of any monumental triumph over adversity but rather one of a more humble and heart-warming origin, Miss Bellucci nodded as Ichigo spun a yarn about cooking breakfast for the first time and felt no less touched by it for her surprise, yet at the same time felt possessed to find out more, and apparently she wasn't the only one. Now she says that, I kind of agree? It's a nice story, but it does leave you wondering why that made him so proud, doesn't it? The ravishing redhead which the two had been assigned seeming warm and friendly and just as pretty as she ever had been in their previous meetings, the dark dish rubbed her chin as the fine femme gave feedback and found that the girl seemed to point out something that she had half-guessed, but not quite realized; the story was nice, but lacking for the relevance at the issue at hand, and there was something else about the situation as well. “Oh, so the interview situation is more formal~? Since this had a publicity type idea, I thought the intent was more like a talk show… Light, fairly casual, entertaining?” Perhaps some of their failing in the previous round coming from a mistaken assumption that they were conducting their correspondence in a largely informal fashion like those puff pieces made for housewives and the like, from the sounds of things their scenario was meant to be a bit stiffer, and seem a little more probing and comprehensive than a simple and friendly conversation like that a radio host might have. “Looks like I'm going to have to be tougher on you, Mr Ichigo~” Because of that the blight eyed belle opting to straighten her positon into something slightly more attentive and serious than the casual half lean and leg over leg fashion that she had adopted thus far, while she offered a wink to give a definite implication that things weren't going to ever get as strict as her words might have implied, Bianca tried her best to mimic something that might have been that bit more authoritarian and austere rather than the casual chat format that she had initially adopted. “So, hmmmm, I actually have an idea actually going off what Miss Yumi has said...” Nodding to herself as she took the advice of their senior in her stride and then smiled as a result toward her sempai as well for a second, Miss Bellucci could quickly pick out a little query which seemed to keep the 'flow' of their notion going without letting the lad become too lost in the errors of his answer, and ultimately would offer him a chance to correct them as well. “Who would you say are your role models? The people who you look up to, and have shaped your life the most?” Few things better than the chance to hit a couple of birds with the same stone after all and the choice that she made in query seeming to achieve that in the way it linked to the previous answer and expanded upon it, the dazzling delight hoped that her partner would also bear in mind the wise words of the young woman beside them as he was given a chance to build upon what he had offered, and the ebony haired enchantress waited to see just how much more enlightening his response would be now he had a better idea of what was expected of them… |

Which to be fair to Ichigo, she was admittedly a normal-looking young woman, so it's no wonder his eyes glazed over her. Which compared to the many different and unique looking people at U.A, Ichigo didn't underestimate their strength or power- heck, they could probably kick his ass, to be honest. But Ichigo also wished he got paired with somebody else more unique looking. Like Kumoko-Chan from his classroom, or Charlie-senpai, or Chimera-senpai. But, nope, here he is with these two girls who keep looking at him weirdly. Did he say something weird with his story?

Ichigo noticed the red-head when she spoke up about her critique, Ichigo let out a small-"Huh-Okay sounds fair." Ichigo said as he sat up straighter and rolled his neck and shoulders as the Bianca asked her next question. But before she asked it, Bianca explained the thought process to her question. That it was a sort of talk show host question- which admittedly, Ichigo thought it was too. Ichigo then grinned at Bianca as she challenges him, Ichigo with a cocky grin, says, "Good, I like things rough," Ichigo said, not picking up her hints at all.

Bianca asked who his role model is in life. Not what he expected, but he can work with it. Ichigo, with a proud smirk, said, "My father, he may be a tad too traditional and weary, but he is also a good man and father to my brother and me." Ichigo proudly spoke of his father, who helped raised him and who was always there for him and his brother-despite them being little shits at time. "My father was a police officer who quits his job after my quirk manifested to help raise me," Ichigo said while leaving out the fact he often caused trouble due to his quirk and his generally aggressive personality. He felt tangs of guilt for his old self. But he shouldn't worry about it.

"Despite his demeanor being old-fashion, he is a good man who would do anything for his family and friends. He's a good man, and I aim to respect all that he gave me in life. Especially after all the headaches, I gave him over the years." Ichigo said in a more joking tone as he finished his speech. Ichigo's face felt slightly flushed at gushing so much about his father, but its what he felt. And by god, if Basil ever showed this interview to dad, he will beat his ass. "I mean, yeah-" Yumi responded quickly to the idea of it being a talk show style format, but the thing was with talk shows is the people who came onto them were still gonna be prepared. "But ya know, TV is fake. You both got the list of questions you were gonna be asking or answering potentially before the class really started, and the same is really true of talk shows. It's not entirely rehearsed, it's a more conversation, chatty format, buuuuut the person who comes on is still gonna know the potential talking points like you guys do. Sure some hesitation is fine but chat show, formal interview, it all comes off pretty confident when you see it on TV no?"
She worried she was coming off like she was talking down to them about this but she hoped her point was clear. Unless they were blindsided by a camera and a microphone everyone was gonna have some idea of what they were gonna be talking about on TV, so they had to give that same impression. A bit of hesitation was fine by all means and she wouldn't mark them down too harshly for any of that, but as a teacher in training she needed to stick to the rules Serperior had given her all the same.
"If you wanna treat it more like a chat show? Fair enough.~ Just know the people on those are prepared too."
When Ichigo made the 'rough' comment Yumi lifted her clipboard a little higher, pretending to check the marking scheme when infact just hiding the tint of red on her cheeks until it faded, lifting her amber gaze back up again when the next answer came. A personal answer, a relatable one that showed he had a soft side for his family but also put his father in a respectable light. She couldn't really mark him down for this response at all, even managing to keep some levity with the joke at the end. All Yumi managed to throw into this one was. "Very good.~" Now wanting to break their flow with unnecessary comments when they were doing well.

Wrinkling her brow a little as their helper seemed to chime in and point out the gritty truth beneath the little joke she had made about treating the occasion like a talk show, though Miss Bellucci could see the point that her sempai was trying to make here she couldn’t help but feel that the cynicism or whatever was in her tone felt just a little bit dour for the tone, and while she had been happy to have a little help to polish up her own performance began to wonder why it was that this young woman was so involved in the process. Does she have some kind of experience with this kind of thing? Must have to be heading this up in place of a teacher… Unable to know that Yumi was herself questioning how in depth she was getting with her commentary or concerned about the tone she was taking though likely to agree in both marks, while there was an air of seriousness to the situation for sure the black beauty had to admit that maybe it felt like she was putting a bit too much of a dampener on the occasion, and as such wondered if she herself would need to counter that by adding a little more liveliness and bounce to her own performance. “Oh, maybe that’s something I should remember, hm~?” That concern however not having all that much emphasis as the ebony enchantress railed off a little cheekiness in response to her partner’s little line about enjoying more of a coarse approach to certain kinds of proceedings, the naughtiness of one student brought out the bad habit of another in a manner which was likely to get them marked down in retrospect, though for the moment it seemed their supervisor was quiet. I assume less notes means we’re doing well…? Pausing as she waited for the redhead to offer a new remark in retrospect of the rather comprehensive answer that the lad had offered up, Bianca herself had to confess that she was rather satisfied with the detail he had given and the story he had shared, readily feeling the warmth in the description that he had offered and feeling like she knew the boy that little bit better because of it. “He sounds like quite the man, I can understand why you look up to him so much~” Nodding and smiling as she conveyed that impression to him eagerly in a manner which she hoped seemed understanding and empathic, though Yumi had seemed to call for them being a little more professional in light of their first round performance Miss Bellucci saw nothing wrong with being encouraging in light of the effort her new friend was making, and couldn’t help but let the way their conversation had continued add colour to the next and final question she would ask. “Sticking with those significant influences actually, does a handsome young man like you have a special someone in your life? You know, girlfriend, boyfriend, or at least someone you might fancy for the role~?” Perhaps going easy on the boy thus far with the personal questions but in her own way opting to use her last chance to see if she could press him a little into an area in which he was uncomfortable, though affairs of the heart came pretty naturally to her the black beauty had learned that the new culture she found herself within tended to be a little less liberal with matters of love and as such she wished to use that to test the boy now that she had warmed him up, and was honestly just as interested about the details of his answer as she was in the manner about which he gave them. After all, it would be nice for her to know just how ‘available’ to her he considered himself… |
