APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Casper is a short, scrawny little creature with scruff blueish-black hair. He stands just under 5 feet. While he has tight muscle definition it isn't enough to show through his skin and would need some searching with a squeeze to find. His typical style of dressing himself comes in slightly oversized clothing, baggy shorts, roomy shirts or cargo pants. He isn't at all proud of his form and, assuming he gets into UA like he hopes, he will likely continue this trend with his school uniform so as to not display just how scrawny he is to his fellow classmates.
Typically some part of his casual attire will have hero merch on it, be it a pin on his backback of Serperior's chibi face or witch doctor's hero logo on a shirt or the like. He can go sans hero merch but they tend to be designed more for the cool display of a heroes face or logo and are built roomier for the er... nerds who might usually buy them, so it's definitely more his style.
POSITIVE
✔ Hopeful, Lively, Positive
NEGATIVE
✖ Hesitant, Restrained, Pushover
LIKES
✔ Heroes, Awesome fights, Video Games
DISLIKES
✖ Bullies, Sneaky criminals,himself
Personality:
Outwardly Casper likes to try and display himself as an energetic young boy. He makes no effort to hide his desires to be a hero and the admiration he shows for them, actually having an app on his phone that alerts him to any hero take downs that may be in the area within running distance. He's a huge fan of the new path the world is taking with it's heros and is looking forward to the potential of being a hero himself. He knows UA is going to be a grueling path to go down and the risks involved, but his desire to be a hero like those he admires outweighs his fears.
Of course, his fears still exist. As much as he wants to be a hero he struggles to consider himself hero material. Both because of how he is physically and also because of his difficulties in pushing himself. He can't output his full potential and he knows it, worried about the collateral damage he may produce or even just the harm he may do to anyone that he spars or trains with. All the same, he's convinced he can be a hero, even if he isn't entirely sure how to get past his own hangups.

HISTORY
Growing up to a European father and a Japanese mother, Casper grew up in the develop age of vigilantes turning heroes and definitely wouldn't have been born any time else if he got the choice. With a twin brother and an older sister, Casper had a pretty show development at a young age. It was not easy to prescribe it to any typical developmental disorder, and while his twin brother began to walk rather early at just a year old (18 months being typical), Casper found it difficult to walk full steps until he was about 3 years old. Despite being part of a twin set of brothers, even as babies it was incredibly easy to tell the two apart, as his twin brother grew quicker and larger than him even at such an early stage, while he continued to struggle in his development.
Of course, in time, it was clear this was a side effect of his quirk, but by then it felt like he had two older siblings. His twin actually seemed to hold a quirk that opposed his. While his development was hindered, the development of his twin seemed to be mildly exhilerated, leading to what seemed like a 'physical age' gap between them, and a lot of comparisons between them. Easily this is where Casper's worry that he does not fill the 'heroic image' stems from, his brother much more easily filling that image even in their early teens. All the same, growing up in an age of heros it's hard not to be hopeful, and as the first groups of heroes came to Japan, Casper's desires to match them grew.
In a hope to follow the examples of one of the more bombastic heroes, he found himself standing up to one of your typical school bullies, pushing him around and comparing him to his brother. Gritting his teeth, he finally threw a punch, tapping into his quirk...
His 'foe' ended up in the hospital. At such a young age broken ribs were no joke. While it was put off as an accidental first use of his quirk, and layered with a self defense... defense, no criminal charges didn't mean he hasn't held an immense sense of guilt, worried about tapping into his quirk again with the chance of it doing similar damage to anyone else. The desires to suppress his quirk have only grown over the years.
As if to add onto his his family were leaving near the Fuchu prison during the outbreak. While no villain directly invaded his home luckily enough, a good chunk of his home was destroyed by a hero trying to take in one of the more deadly villains. In truth Casper never worried about this. They were covered by the government for such damages and the hero had to pay some amends for it themselves, and they understood it was in the pursuit of a villain. His family were much different however, while his desire to be a bombastic, explosive hero continued underneath the surface, their chiding of such heroes definitely got to him. Their desires to still support heroes, but focus on those who rescue civilians or fight against fires and disasters... his heart is conflicted about where he wants to go.
Ultimately, he still wants to be a hero, he's just unsure how, or what kind of hero he wants to be.
