In terms of the arena, this fight likely had the least put into it. A simple, metal, egg-shaped dome. Jasmine stood at the very middle, engulfed by the many lights above her which would go out the second the fight started. The battlefield itself was littered with debris: busted up cars with their fuel tanks still full; pieces of half-way operational jet engines; rocks, from small to large... simple, yet fitting for what Jasmine had in mind. The fighter in question for today was none other than Rowan Sakamoto, a fellow third year who had a quirk very similar yet very different from hers at the same time. Rowan, too, dabbled in explosions, yet the way she produced and utilized them was very different from how Jasmine did. As far as the wolf was aware, the firepower at their disposal was relatively similar. That wasn't what Jasmine wanted to push. What Jasmine wanted to poke was Rowan's control. The ashen haired lass was no stranger to the fact that the brunette struggled controlling her quirk. She was also no stranger to how badly this lack of control could affect you both on a physical and mental level. Always injuring yourself or others was never something you wanted to do, especially when you had a quirk as volatile as the two girls possessed. Not to mention that learning to control it was a herculean task all on its own. Jasmine herself spent years learning to control the quirk as well as she did now, and honestly she was somewhat of a genius. Rowan, though? Jasmine had a feeling Rowan's personality was what held her back. Which was why this arena was so cramped, relatively speaking. It was still the size of a whole football field, but that mattered little when it came to speed and range for the wolf. Jasmine's goal was to assault Rowan without a single intention of stopping. Overwhelm her. Attack, attack, and attack. Push her against back against a wall and see how she handles it. The two additional factors that would assist with this was the dome itself -- the more explosive their attacks and the more fire Jasmine uses, the more heat that gets trapped inside, hindering both of them. Jasmine was used to the heat because of her quirk, which gave her an edge. Plus... the lights going out would indeed be an interesting touch. Attack -- risk getting attacked. She'd have to think on her feet. Huffing a breath, Jasmine stood at the middle of the dome with her arms crossed. The second the other explosive lass entered and the door closed, the lights would go out and the fight would begin.

Why did she say yes? Why did Monty bail on her? Well he didn't, he overtrained and couldn't come but... all Rowan could do was sigh. The reason she showed up was for multiple factors; she was scared of her quirk still. Less scared then last winter where she had no control at all and Tetsuko had to pull her out of a blizzard that she so "effectively" used to cool off. No, she was better at her control, better at aiming then that and so on. She was only still very scared to hurt people with her quirk. Her opponent was someone she admired and liked, why would she try and hurt Jasmine even if she played a villain? She already had issues with hurting villains, albeit less so then these training sessions. How was this going to help her? How was this going to make things better, she did not know, there were no answers.
It was obvious this wasn't a form of a training session. When the hero in training showed up, the lights went out and the door was sealed shut for her at this point. So no introduction, no other information, as they already had this before, it was just straight up going into the fight. Her eyes had not scanned the location, she had thought she would have a moment to meet up before it began, underestimated the situation, overestimated herself maybe? She adjusted her vizor, maybe it was an idea to ask Charlie for night vision in it, but at the moment it was just to protect her eyes from possible schrapnel and nothing else. Her hero outfit was very simple, tight leathery-like trousers, with red boots that had boosters underneath, a belt with cans on it where she could pop the marbles or bouncing balls from. The plates on her chest were not that tough but it surely helped taking in some damages, she wore gloves and had a sort of canon-like construction on both of her forearms where she could shoot tennisballs from that she would be able to touch right before leaving so they would explode as well. That means that she had developed her hero outfit over the past two years very well if she would say so herself. Her hair up in a messy bun to not be in her way and she was ready. Well... as ready as Rowan ever could be. She should find Jasmine first, come up with a plan that did not involve her being punched several times even when she got already knocked out. She needed a higher place to aim from, that would be saver at first and that meant she would be able to spy Jasmine... ugh she felt like such a coward. But she should just do this, big breath and walk on... very steady and as silent as she could, eyes and ears open for any sound and be ready when the villain would jump up at her. Maybe it worked if she kept repeating in her mind that this was a fight against a villain, not against the pretty girl of 3-A.

There was no plan. No elaborate scheme that Jasmine had concocted to make things too difficult. The chosen arena provided enough of a risk factor the longer this fight would draw out. The confines of the steel cage would keep both the heat and the smoke resulting from both of their explosions snugly kept inside to hinder both fighters and Jasmine figured that was enough of a handicap for both of them. Well, rather, Rowan herself. Jasmine, for one, had a gas mask on that covered the lower half of her face so while the heat could certainly get to her, the fumes wouldn't. It wasn't fair - she was well aware of this. But rarely was the real thing ever real.
She stirred from her thoughts once she heard the large metal doors slide open and then quickly slide down shut, signifying Rowan's entrance into the battlefield. As opposed to the fight against Kirk, Jasmine didn't have any motion trackers, nor did she have any type of bird's eye view of the arena like she did with Yumi. No, with Rowan the only form of upper hand she had was the gas mask...
...and her training with the special operations branch of the police which gave her quite a bit of experience fighting in the dark.
The moment the doors closed, Jasmine acted. The delay in Lady Fierce's movements told Jasmine that Rowan was either hesitating, or trying to come up with a plan. That wasn't going to work. Jasmine wouldn't give her time to think.
She didn't need Rowan's precise location. Her explosions could cover a wide enough area to fish her out of wherever she was hiding. All she needed was her general location... which she knew based on where the entry to the arena was.
In one swift motion Jasmine swiped both of her hands in the general direction of the doorway, releasing a myriad of strong and chaotic explosions covering an incredibly wide area, about a fifth of the arena itself, subsequently lighting the darkness ablaze with a flash fire display of light and destruction. She would use this sudden attack to also fully scope Rowan out, get a full handle of her location, and then promptly dart towards her at great speeds. Using the shadows provided by the many objects they could use for cover, the wolf prowled towards the raven haired lass at unnatural speeds. Whether her explosions hit was irrelevant. What mattered was not letting up.
