Yang It was finally time to go home. She had gotten a message from her father saying that he was ready to have company. However it made her wonder what in the world took him so long to get the home ready? She wasn’t sure but she was excited. Not only was she going home for the first time in a few months since being enrolled into this school, she had company.
It was Mizuki. Mizuki had finally given Yang the answer to her question. Surprisingly it was shortly after they met that Yang asked Mizuki if she wanted to go home with her during the summer break. It would be a brief trip but a very much needed trip. Not only did she need to visit her sister’s grave. But it was about time that Mizuki knew more about Yang especially after the Haymaker twins’ birthday. Mizuki had kissed her and at that time Yang didn’t know how to feel about it.
But she did now. After the riots and much needed conversation between her and Red, they both realized they liked Mizuki and actually agreed about Mizuki knowing more about her past that Yang rarely spoke of.
She was packing light considering that she would only be going home for a few days. It wasn’t like she needed much since she was going home. When she was done packing, she closed the door behind her and locked her room. She then went next door to Mizuki’s room and knocked on the door. She stood there patiently as she waited for Mizuki answer the door.

Myrkul
Meanwhile Myrkul made the painstakingly long trip back to the school. He sighed because he was driving his car instead of his motorcycle. But he couldn’t use the motorcycle for three people because he didn’t have the sidecar. It has been weeks since Yang had suggested coming home during the summer break. But to his surprise, Yang had mentioned that she was bringing someone home. It got him curious but he figured he would meet the person soon enough.
Of course before inviting someone to his home that wasn’t his daughter, he had to make sure it was in order. He had to clean out the spare room he had in his house. Once that gotten straightened out, he had to make sure his secretive room was clean and didn’t make the house reek of blood. That probably was the hardest to do because blood is so very hard to clean up. He had to get some heavy duty supplies and a black light to ensure every bit of that room was cleaned. Then he turned his attention to the green house.
He had a small green house that grew fruit and vegetables to limit Myrkul’s time in the city. He was ever grateful that both of his guests were vegetarians in some sense. At least Yang gave Myrkul that much information of the guest he was about to have in his home. He had to make sure there would be enough food for three people in his green house.
The very last thing he did, he went home. Not the home he bought but his child hood home. It was approximately an hour and some change away from his current home. He couldn’t remember the last time he had been to his child hood home. But he finally paid enough money to get several headstones to mark the graves that was littered on the property. It would be nice. Of course he knew that Yang would probably question how these headstones got here, but he would be glad to tell her once she was done visiting her sister’s grave.
He sighed and turned up the music as he made the drive to UA School. He called the school to ensure that it would be okay for Yang and Mizuki to take a leave of absence to his surprise his daughter had purposely planned this leave of absence during summer vacation. Where most kids probably went home for the entire duration. He had so much to prepare to have guests, hopefully they could understand why it took so long. Only time would tell.

Mizuki packed her two bags, making sure to keep it light for the next few days. Today was the day. She was going home with Yang. The girl that she had been spending her time with. The girl that had stood next to her for some time. The girl that was the center of her now peaceful storm. It took some time to figure it out. But she finally got there. And during the beach campout, she had finally accepted Yang's invitation to go home for the rest of their summer break.
Mizuki was still unsure where their relationship was at the moment. As she smoothed out her red shirt and shorts, she thought about that for a moment Were they dating? Were they truly together? She held onto the other half of the charm that Yang gave to her for her birthday, reminiscing on the night they shared. Then she thought back to the conversation she had with her aunt a couple of days ago.
Flashback.
Mizuki sat on the patio that overlooked the backyard, smiling at the sky above. Being in Musutafu was a lot quieter than being in Tokyo City. For the first time in a long time, she felt free. She felt like she didn't have to be what the pros wanted her to be. She didn't need to follow int he footsteps her parents had created. She had a chance to be her. A chance to be the hero she always wanted to be. And she got to be that with Yang. Speaking of which...
"Peaceful out here," RJ said, sitting next to her niece. It was no New York, but it was something, to say the least. The two sat in silence for a moment looking at the sky above. Finally, RJ broke the silence between the two. "So how is it with that Yang girl?" Mizuki was surprised. How did her aunt know? Then again, her aunt always knew. "I am happy," said Mizuki.
She thought about her next question to her aunt before voicing it out loud. "What is like being together?" Mizuki asked. RJ looked at her in confusion. "You mean my fusion quirk?" she asked her niece. "No," Mizuki said shaking her head. "I mean being together with someone you like or love. Like Aunt Rin and Jeanne." Mizuki always wondered how her aunts' relationship was strong. It must have been strong enough for them to stay like this one being.
RJ took a moment to think about before answering her question. "Being together is like being with someone who is kind of like my fusion," she said looking at her hands. "You are the right while they act as the left. The other side knows what the other is thinking and they work through the hard times." She clasped her hands together. "They are always together, no matter the other's struggles." She looked at Mizuki. "That's what it means to be together. To live. To laugh. To love. And you may be young, Mizuki, but follow what the heart wants. It will tell you."
End of flashback
The knock on the door broke Mizuki from her thoughts. She opened it to Yang standing there. Mizuki had a smile on her face. This was the person she wanted to be with. "Ready to go?" she asked picking up her bags.

Yang / Red
Yang sighed and stood there what felt like forever. She couldn’t help but remember the last heart to heart conversation she had with Red. It was one of the many attempts that she meditated with Mizuki. Except this one was different. There was more people. But of course that wasn’t the only thing different. It was right after the prison breakout. Red and Yang had common ground. Which definitely was a sight to see. First of all, Red had to admit that she had feelings for someone. Like actual feelings. Second of all, for the both persona’s to agree that this person was worth protecting was a miracle in itself. The last person was obviously their sister and they were a one person. She couldn’t still understand why she split into two different personalities but she did and now they had to figure out how to merge as one person again? Maybe Mizuki was the answer. But there was no telling at this point.
It was almost as if Yang was holding her breathe as Mizuki opened her door. She looked at Mizuki blushed slightly and looked away. “Yes. What about you?” she asked embarrassed. Red sighed and knew this was going to be a long journey but she wasn’t sure how long or if it would be pleasant. Then again who would have a pleasant journey when visiting their loved one graves? Right Red looked at Mizuki through Yang’s eyes. She wasn’t sure if told her that they would be going to a gravesite. Hopefully this wouldn’t be too disturbing but it wouldn’t be surprising if it was. A destroyed village hidden deep in the mountains would always be disturbing for one person to see. But of course Red wasn’t going to see the village, she wanted to go back to her childhood home to visit her sister’s grave. It was the only place she could think of burying the young girl at the time.
Yang realized that Mizuki was indeed ready to go but she just wanted to make sure. She was nervous their first time spending quite some time together. Even though her father would be present, he would most likely keep to himself once he was done sizing Mizuki up. She smiled softly looked down at her phone that buzzed. There was a text from her father. It stated “I’m here.” She then looked at Mizuki. “Let’s go” she said as walked down the stairs. Eventually they made it to the car that Myrkul used occasionally.
Yang raised an eyebrow realizing that this car had been cleaned out. She wondered if her father was trying to impress Mizuki or not. She quickly shrugged it off and put her stuff in the trunk of the car. Once done she helped Mizuki with her stuff and they both sat in the car waiting for Myrkul to drive them off to her little home that was in between the city and the mountains. This would be an incredibly long drive for them. Most likely when they got there it would be night time and she would head out in the morning so that they could have enough time to visit the gravesite and for any questions Mizuki may have.

Myrkul Myrkul had a very long drive. He sighed changing the music station. What in the world made him chose the classical music section, he wasn’t sure. But he definitely was tired now. He liked classical music obviously he shouldn’t do it while driving though. Eventually he found something he wanted to listen to, it was heavy metal. He couldn’t stand going to live concerts but still appreciated the music.
With this music now blaring, he could focus on driving. However, he couldn’t help but think about things. Things like Yang’s mysterious companion. Thanks to a picture that Yang provided him, he knew what she looked like. It was really his eventful trip to the city. He honestly couldn’t remember the last time he has been in the city but he met a few people. Two of which looked vaguely familiar to the girl in the picture. To his surprise the young man had introduced himself as part of the Haymaker Family.
A name that was all he needed. Even though it would take him time, he had nothing but time especially considering that Yang was at his mercy on bringing home this person. This was another reason why he took such a while to get things in order. He needed to know what er well who he was bringing home. He loved Yang dearly but was quite afraid that this person could be an undercover agent or assassin. Who could exactly blame him? He lived quite an interesting life and as a trained assassin he would do anything to get closer to his target even if that meant befriending them. This was probably the easiest way to learn about someone’s habits so he could calculate a plan to kill them. It was also time consuming. But if the price was worth it, he would dedicate the time unless the person that hired him wanted it done in a certain time frame. That usually cost extra.
Before Myrkul realized he was pulling up to the school. He sighed and turned his music down as he parked the car. He pulled out his burner cellphone and texted his daughter. It wasn’t long before the two young girls met him. He got out of the car and opened the trunk to help the young girl’s put their stuff into the trunk. Whenever they finished, he had gotten back into the car and waited for them to get buckled in. “Is everyone buckled?” he asked. Maybe it was a combination of his clean look but his voice sounded more fatherly than usual. Anyone could tell that Myrkul cared for Yang deeply with the way he looked at her. But only a few could really tell that they were related by blood.
Once the girls were buckled in, he buckled in himself and there they went. It was a long trip that Myrkul made sure to include breaks for both girls. He was trying to be considerate. Which was a bit different for Yang but she figured he was trying to be a good host.

As Mizuki made her way to the front of the stairs of UA, she wondered about the things that happen in her life. She wasn't the same person that first walked through UA's doors. Well, she still had issues with working with others and getting to know them. But she felt free and knew what she wanted to do as a hero. And most importantly, she wanted to be with Yang. She was unsure what would come of this trip, but she was excited to be with her nonetheless.
Mizuki could see the man in the front seat as the car pulled up to the front gate. He had long black hair that seemed to have a tinge of blue in it. He appeared to be a slender man with an athletic build, looking as though he was in his thirties. His turquoise eyes shone a little in the sunlight. Once the girls had gotten in, they buckled up in the back seat, preparing for the drive to their destination.
During the ride, Mizuki noticed how quiet everything was. Maybe they don't talk as much or probably out of respect for Yang. She wondered if they were like this all the time. Mizuki smiled over to Yang, as though promising that they were going to have a good time.

Yang Yang had gotten in the car as well. She noticed that it smelt different than it usually does. For whatever reason she smelt a strong scent of bleach. It was weird but what made it weirder was what Myrkul was wearing. She referred to this look as the clean look. Why was he trying so hard to look nice? It was weird but she didn’t think about it much more.
She glanced over towards Mizuki and was nervous fairly nervous. There was no telling what Myrkul thought about her or them. He was a man of very few words and since she didn’t speak much other, they were perfect father and daughter duo. But most likely it probably bored Mizuki. She probably wasn’t the most comfortable. But no matter how long the ride was it was silent.
If it wasn’t for Myrkul’s music and Mizuki wasn’t sitting next to her, Yang would probably fall asleep in the car. Eventually they made it back to Myrkul’s home. They all got out of the car in silence but almost as soon as Myrkul had disappeared into the house doing whatever, Yang smiled softly at Mizuki.
“Our first stop” she said softly. She knew tomorrow would be a hellish day but for right now she could spend the remaining time of this day with Mizuki.
