i'm in your eyes but you still can't see me now IT WAS LIKE HIS MOUTH WAS RUSTED OVER-- the Informant had used a nice lady to glean all the information they could from the child. And, once he'd said enough, they let Shiloh go. Not really let him go, mind you, but they stopped passing him from one person in a suit to the next. Shiloh needed someone to stay with forever, because even though he'd done a bad thing, he was too young to get in trouble, so they couldn't send him where they sent other bad kids.
Instead, they sent him to Yellow Jacket.
He didn't like that.
It was one step above an orphanage, sure-- but an orphanage would have been SO MUCH EASIER to run from. There was always some hero or another watching Shiloh. How could he look for Wesker and Bishop if he was always being watched?
Anyways… Shiloh was so upset at the people in suits for choosing Yellow Jacket, that he decided he'd show how upset he was by just not talking to her! Not ever! Not in English, not in French… not at all! Not even when Yellow Jacket insisted that he could call her Hachi or Tsutsuji or Auntie! Never!
The child had intended on taking a total vow of silence buuuut the people in Yellow Jacket's class were just so interesting to the boy. Like… one girl, she was shaped like a big bug! And then there was this boy that was Shiloh's size that was shaped like a bunny! They were so cool…
So Shiloh sat by them. It was when he sat with them, today, that Shiloh devised his master plan to find Bishop and Wesker. While the students of the class had textbooks and spiralbound notebooks on their desks, Shiloh had markers and printer paper. He worked furiously with the orange and black, his face almost flush with the table so that he could almost see his creation.
He paused, holding the picture at arm's length so that it went totally out of focus. After a moment, he nodded his head and then began to pack-up his pens.
Charlie cast a sidelong glance at him.
"I'm going to the bathroom," whispered the child.
"With the markers and your paper?" the prawn whispered back.
"Yeah."
"Why?"
"If I stop now, it'll interrupt the creative process. I have to take it with me."
The prawn exhaled sharply, "I'll let Hachi know when she's done lecturing."
The child nodded wordlessly, and slipped out the back door.
It doesn't take long for him to get very, very lost. All the hallways "looked" the same, and he couldn't read at all. Moreover, he hadn't actually been seeking the bathroom at all… Shiloh made a small, distressed noise, sinking against the wall. It would be lunch soon, so he'd need to be fast.
No need to panic. Everything was fine.
Underneath his breath, Shiloh began to sing to himself in French.

"Well that oughta keep 'em busy..."
Since Mia only taught one of the 'homeroom' classes she had a lot of leeway in what she actually had to teach the kids. One day it could be some sort of combat lesson, the next it could just be going over hero law and procedures. Today though she'd been seeking a bit of a break and had managed to convince the class that, for the day, she wanted to teach them the duty of being a hero teacher, to teach them how hard it was to teach and how difficult it might be to balance such a life with being a hero full time. She had this planned out over the course of a few lessons actually. For this one, all they had to do was write up a potential lesson plan that should take 5-10 minutes to present to the rest of the class, and then after lunch, they'd take it in turns presenting them. They weren't allowed any help or to ask for support, and to emphasize that, she told them she was going to be standing outside the door. Buuuuuut.... nah. Fuck that. She wanted to get to the front of the lunch cue before all the other big eaters beat her to it.
It was on her way to the lunch hall when she heard the soft tones of... french? Was that french? She didn't speak the language but she'd had a bit of a 'thing' for french chicks throughout the years. Something about those tones, their voice... okay. Not the time. Point was she didn't speak it but she recognized the inflections required for the language... sounded like a soft male voice? Couldn't be sure, sounded kinda young at that. She didn't know how many of the students had french origins but it couldn't be that many... without much more of a thought she eased about the hallway corner, spotting the source of the sound.
Oh... that was Hacchi's... assignment? Adopted kid? Mia... wasn't clear on the terms, like, at all. She shook it off though. Kid was what like... 10? She was pretty independant when she was 10... she felt she was at least. She was so big a lot of people treated her like a teenager soooo.... but the sad french singing was er, bit of a red flag. Mia sank her hands into her pockets, striding over, recalling the kid seemed to not speak japanese in the chat, she spoke in english. "Hey er... doin' okay there kid?"

The history classes for the day had wrapped up and other classes had been going on for the remainder. Perry had been finishing some grading not long prior and had a neat stack of papers ready to log away neatly on his desk. He'd left the room shortly after this was done as that could always be done later. Filing and proper portfolioing everything had always been something he never enjoyed and often put off for a later time. Usually when the pile of papers on his desk had began to become a nuisance would he finally get to properly putting things away and in proper order.
The small fine suited little possum would plop on the ground and quickly straighten his tie. The little piter pater of small feet and a tail hitting the ground would make a small pat of sounds after he leaped from the top of the desk down to the slick flooring of the classroom. He would quickly skedaddle towards the door and make his way out towards the halls. A small sound hitting his ears as he neared it not quite sure what he was moving along quickly on his small tiny feet. Quickly opening the door and rounding the corner as his little pink snoot wiggled along with his whiskers curiously sniffing the air as the sound was a little easier to hear when he went outside. Rounding the corner quickly and nearly toppling into a small fuzzy bat boy who seemed accompanied by the giant of the school herself as well.
He managed to stop himself all the same sniffing the air with a wiggling pink snoot facing them both with a curious look. Some classes were still in effect he thought so the small one in the halls was a bit confusing until he somewhat recognized the specimen. The small ward of the bee lady! Tilting his head he would offer a polite bow and large toothy grin his species was often known for where they were native.
"Seem's like I've stumbled upon something, You two looking for something? Humming a neat little tune there are you?" He'd say trying to speak in English working on his own a little as he did. Scratching his little fuzzy chin as he spoke as well. Looking as if he was thinking on what he found one eye brow or at least a fuzzy ridge that would count as a eyebrow raised curiously as well.

Desmoshi was feeling slightly better. He had been learning to take it easy and actually slow down a bit. He had been piling so much on himself he hadn't realized he had done so in the first place. And on a few occasions, it had shown his cross with a few of his classmates. This hit him in the feels. He never wanted to come off angry at some people and he definitely didn't want his anger to drive people off. He had taken the advice of the third-years Emi and Melody, and of course, Bobby Joe, which was pretty solid. So he was going to do that- just chill for a bit.
And it seemed like the universe wanted to help him out with that. His last class ended early today, so he was going to work on some homework and just actually relax with Niji for the rest of the day. As he rounded the corner in the halls, he came upon something weird. Perry-sensei and Kearney-sensei were talking to what appeared to a... bat kid? The bat person was not an unusual part. There were a number of mutated students here at UA. He just looked so young to be at UA. He approached the small group and gave a wave and a smile. "Hey, everyone," Desmoshi said with a smile. "Is everything okay?"

[attr="class","oneword1"] [attr="class","fromyou1"] @name Lets have ourselves a little fun~
BA HA HA HA HA HA!
[attr="class","itsover2"]Yasashi marched his way down the hallway, one foot in front of the other, smile on his face and a spring in his step. He'd been on patrol for only about ten minutes, this period dedicated to daytime patrol while the other students were studying. One of the perks and problems with working with the disciplinary committee. He rounded a corner and heard a sound, he stopped and squinted expecting to see through the walls when all he could see was just... walls. He'd forgotten, once again, that Freya had inherited that ability from him. It wasn't his anymore. He put his hand on his hip and scratched his head before just shrugging and making his way toward the sound.
It was along the way he spotted Desmoshi working his way through the hall. That was odd, Desmoshi didn't skip classes. Maybe his class got out early. Better check just to make sure. He marched forward with a hand raised and a big smile on his face when he spotted two more figures. OOOOH! It was Red Horn! And Paw Might! The both of them were standing in the middle of the hallway conferring with one another while looking down at something that was leaning up against the wall. What on earth could it be! Yasashi reached for his disciplinary committee arm band and adjusted it, marching toward the gathering with his shoulders set.
"Good evening friends! What seems to be going o-" Yasashi stopped, his eyes wide and locked on the little thing leaning against the wall. The small person looked so young! And what an adorable fuzzy face! He beamed, kneeling down and raised a big meaty hand in greeting. "Why hello there!" He asked cheerliy, having been too late to hear the song the child was singing. His mother having taught him both English and French as a boy he would have no trouble communicating, if he knew what language to speak.

i'm in your eyes but you still can't see me now THE BAT'S VOICE LILTED DOWN the hallway, rising and falling in a breathy, absentminded way. It was a habit that Shiloh had acquired when he was nervous, or thinking, or bored… and right now, he was all three of those things! So, he sung— Ah! vous dirais-je, maman Ce qui cause mon tourment? Papa veut que je raisonne Comme une grande personne Moi je sais que—
Unsurprisingly, Shiloh was quick to garner the attention of a handful of passerby’s. Perhaps it was his small stature or the lilt of his youthful voice. But… there were students his size or smaller. Ah! It was the clothes. If he had a uniform, perhaps they would think him a short student? Instead, he just had overalls and a sort of bib that looked like a shirt, but was cut down to below his wings. Anyways… Shiloh heard footsteps before he saw the owner of them, and he scampered behind a trash can, tucking his head. His ears, unfortunately, still stood way above the height of the trashcan. That was how the first person found him. “Ah, c'est merveilleux! You speak English!” the bat cheered, lifting his head, “I’m okay! I’m on a mission! But it’s a secret mission… and I…”His expression grew drawn. What sort of spy was he if he got lost on missions? “Madame, do you-“ the bat began to ask. He paused, then, his ears twitching slightly. Whatever question was on his tongue was replaced by another. Still clasping his papers to his chest, and with a giddy fervor, the child demanded, “Madame, what is on your head? A funny hat?”He meant the horn—but with echolocation, all that Shiloh could tell was that it was a protrusion. He’d incorrectly assumed that Redhorn was wearing the world’s worst party-hat on her forehead. And, as if Shiloh’s attention wasn’t already flighty enough. Next came a voice from near the floor— The clicking from Shiloh’s muzzle grew frantic, pointing downward as he searched for the source. There, a little blip on the radar, like a cat or something. Perhaps a raccoon? “Yes, I was singing,” Shiloh remarked, crouching down to get a closer look at the “cat”, “I like singing. Hey. You’re very small. Why is that? Were you always this small?”Shiloh passed his papers into one arm, thus freeing up the other arm to try and pat Perry with his clawed “hand”. Then even more people came, two boys. One asking if everything was okay. He seemed to be a normal boy—no weird hats or cat-sized body here. He said something, in Japanese, and the bat-child struggled to remember his lessons. Even if he hadn’t spoken to Yellow Jacket or the Informant, the Informant had been doing his best to teach Shiloh Japanese. Though… Shiloh only knew the barest basics. “F-fine,” the child echoed, in Japanese. The other boy, absolutely mountainous, said “good evening” (even if it was only almost lunch). Shiloh’s ears dropped behind him in a sort of wonder, his mouth going slightly agape. A lot of what the gigantic guy said was lost on the bat, until his cheerful, “Hello there!” “H-hello!” Shiloh echoed again. Even when the bat rose to his full height, he barely came-up to the guy’s chin. Shiloh turned to funny-hat lady, stating in a theater-whisper, “He… probably eats his vegetables. He’s really tall.”With all these new and unfamiliar people, Shiloh began to fear that his mission was compromised. He was by himself in the hallway when he shouldn’t have been—but… they didn’t know that! What more, with this many people… it might actually make his mission easier! “Quelle chance j’ai! This is exactly how many people I need!” Shiloh proclaimed, “I need your help!”With this many people, someone was bound to know the answer to the question. “I’m looking for something,” the bat explained, “A, uh… it takes papers! And makes more papers. Uh… comme une imprimante, but bigger.”He had watched his father use one of those machines a thousand times at the university as he prepared for his classes. They had them at high schools too, right? “Do you know where I could find one?” | ft. mia, perry, desmoshi + yasashi quirk: e-rank echolocation, flight, speed; f-rank durability, multilingualism |

Mia let out an idle scoff, a huff of air at most as she managed to remember right that this kid didn’t speak much Japanese. Maybe he spoke some but from how he was in the UA chat it definitely wasn’t much. As she approached she’d start to crouch down to his level… or as close as someone like her can get, knee on the ground leaning over her other with arms folded upon it. “Aye, that I do. Don’t speak that other one you’re speakin’ but I at least recognize it. It your first language?” She asked, just idly curious and trying to make some sort of conversation so the little guy didn’t get too intimidated.
Of course, not knowing he was literally as blind as a bat, the question about her hat had her a bit confused. It… it was clearly a horn right? Had the kid not seen rhinos or… heck, unicorns? Pretty sure some weird bats looked like they had horns for that matter but eh, not something to get too fussy about. She let out a soft breath and shrugged, reaching up to grasp it to make it clear it was more solid than a hat. “It’s a horn kid. Like the name. Red Horn. Pleased t’ meetcha.” She chimed with a cheeky smirk, glancing up over the kid as an equally short little rascal approached from the other end.
“Oh hey Pear I was just seein’ what this kid was up to.” Mia remained close to the ground, but fell back onto her ass, crossing her legs and putting her hands on her knees… wait she was trying to ditch class with her bogus lesson why was Perry, this kid and now… Des and Yasashi? Okay these two she could give a pass but didn’t the kids have class right now? Eh, not like she had any right to judge…
She did give a joking gasp however and whispered overly dramatically at the kid. “Dude you can’t just ask people why they’re small and tall. Its rude…” She did feel… mildly offended she didn’t get the vegetables question. Was Yasashi taller than her now? She was almost afraid to stand up and find out if she hadn’t already taken notice of that. Uuuugh…
She narrowed her gaze as he talked about something that took paper and made more paper… er… her first dense thought was some kinda recycling machine or something but that didn’t quite fly. She tried not to look stupid but also just cautiously glanced to the others present as she had a bit of a dense moment.

Things quickly tended to escalate in this school, A small gathering had quickly formed around the little wandering bat boy. Hachi's small ward that had apparently had quite the adventurous spirit about him as well. Perry himself quickly scurrying back in the door he'd come out of moments ago and back out with a small bottle for the small boy given he had him here as well. "Here a smoothie for you! Fresh fruits mixed in, I was told you may like my treats." He'd say before listening to the questions shortly after pour from the child like a curious volcano erupting as that curious nature he'd heard about before was seemingly shining through from the small bat boy on a mission. Giving Red horn a nod in respect as well as she spoke to him too. A sign of respect towards the big hero.
"I am always this small yes, I'm a Opossum... We're not native to this land persay. I am small but still very powerful and a hero though my fellow small friend." He'd say allowing the pat from the young one. Pat's and pets from small humans and quirky quirkers alike was something he slowly had grown used to the more his fame would raise in the Japanese regions for pro heroes. He felt himself a little amused at Red Horns reaction snickering a little but not commenting on it. She was a strong spirit and he knew better then to argue with her on small points.
"Are you looking for the copy machine?! There's one nearby in the teachers lounge we can use as well. Or are you meaning something else small Joey Shiloh." He said curiously wondering if the boy would know what he was talking about and would understand. Perry's English not perfect but still well spoken for the most part.

Wow. Yasashi must have gotten class off earlier too. Man, it must have been a slow day. Then again most of the teachers were pros and probably had other things to attend to. The bat looked at little confused at what Desmoshi was saying. Oh right. He was speaking Japanese. Desmoshi was glad that he learned English from his mom. Although his father was born in Japan, his mother was raised in America. So she taught them to speak English every day along with Japanese, so that way when they took trips to America, the twins wouldn't have too much trouble speaking English. So Desmoshi switched over to English to make things a little easier for their new bat friend. "Sorry about that," he said to the little bat person also known as Shiloh. "I keep forgetting to switch languages every once in the while." Although didn't know that the bat kid spoke English or not at the time, he still felt like he should apologize for some reason. Desmoshi snickered at the comment about Yasashi being tall due to eating vegetables. He cleared throat. Desmoshi listen to Shiloh described needing help with something. Shiloh to describe it in French. Perry thought the young man might be talking about copy machine. Desmoshi scratched his head for a second. "Or regular printer," he suggested to the group. "Maybe he is talking about that."

i'm in your eyes but you still can't see me now AS THE GARGANTUAN WOMAN CONFIRMED that she did speak English, and asked further about his French, the child nodded eagerly, “Yes, French is my first language!”
The woman then announced that she wasn’t wearing a hat, but a horn—a red horn, hence her name, Red Horn! Shiloh’s mouth formed a small, excited “o” at that. A hero?! Of course she was a hero… this was a school for heroes… but… heroes used their hero-name in hero school?! Why hadn’t anyone told him?!
“Oh! Well, my name is Shiloh! But my hero name is Batty,” he said plainly. As if he was old enough to even have a hero name.
And when Red Horn insisted that Shiloh couldn’t ask people about how tall or small they were… the bat’s ears drooped slightly. But… why not? If Shiloh wanted to be as tall as his Papa, he had to find the secret out from other tall people.
Of course, his line of questions was brought to a grinding halt when the matter of “snacks” was introduced. Perry offered a juice drink, and Shiloh perked-up immediately, tucking his paper beneath his arm.
“Yes please!”
He accepted the smoothie into his claws, briefly gnawing on the cap with his sharp, canine-like teeth in order to dislodge it. Once free, he expertly took a swig of the offering.
“Thank you, Mr. Opossum,” the child said brightly.
Two devices were then proposed—a copy machine, or a printer.
“I think it is called a copy machine. Will you show me how to get there, please?”
As soon as Shiloh would have the cooperation of at least one of the people present, the child would also turn to Redhorn—who, as the tallest person present, made for the best person to take the lead, and politely requested the following—
“Madame Redhorn, would you carry me please? My legs are short,” the child requested, lifting his wings towards her as if to also, nonverbally, as to be picked-up. If she declined, his next request would be Desmoshi—because really, if Shiloh just attempted to follow on-foot, he’d simply lag behind.

"Batty huh?" She smiled extra bright as it seemed the kid had some interest in being a hero. She'd only really heard about him in passing so she didn't have a true sense of what she should be expecting out of the kid, but it was good to see he fit in so to speak, at least at a place like UA. She rested a hand against her chest and bowed her head a bit with a smirk in her tone. She was quite used to dealing with the younger kids who liked to crowd around her fights afterall. "Well Batty, let me do a fellow hero some respect and refer to you by your official title. I wouldn't wanna be showin' you any disrespect now would I?"
As Perr and Desmoshi joined the group and warmed up quickly to Shiloh, Mia's pleasant mood was only increasing. She'd meant to just skive off the back end of her lesson but she was actually kinda enjoying the odd collection of company she'd ran into now. Perry seemed quite good with the kid, prepared with snacks no less, and Desmoshi... well she didn't know him well enough she'd admit, but it'd be good to see more of the kid.
Noticing the droop of ears though... she did feel a bit bad, giving a nervous chuckle as she gently ruffled the light layer of fur on his head. "Don't worry kid honest, it was a bad joke kay? Like... there's this really, really old issue people can have and a saying that goes with it and I... well you'll figure it out as you grow up I'm sure." Yeah now was NOT the time to explain that joke. Really it was one of those things Mia felt you just... got through experience.
She did however smack the side of her head a little with the base of her palm, cursing under her breath when she realized what the kid had meant. A copy machine, of course. "Riiiight... yeah we know where one of those is... hm?" Seeing the outstretched wings, Mia's mood only improved further, reaching out, careful to manage her strength incase his bat physiology made him especially frail in any way, even for his age. "Ah don't fret kid. It'd be my pleasure. I mean yer clearly on a mission, can't have a hero wasting their energy." Lifting him up she'd be about to stand, put him on her shoulders, before recalling the ceiling... "Er..."
She shifted, hooking her arms under him, effectively folding them like a seat so he could lean back into her chest like a pillow, his legs dangling off the edge of her arms as he sat on her forearms. "How's this?" She'd ask. Assuming he was okay with it, she'd look across to Perry. While it was Batty's idea to have her lead the way, Perry had been a teach here longer and knew the way better. "Paw Might, I need to make sure our little hero here isn't blind sided by a villain so do you mind leading the way?" She'd quickly learn if she was talking down to Batty too much or not, honestly it was hard for her to get a strong sense of his age, what with the mutations.

It was a pleased moment not just in cause helping a small kind soul but also seeing one enjoy one of his smoothies. Perry took pride in his brews even the non alcoholic tasty drinks like this one. It was a very pleasing time to chat with the small guy and get to talk to a more animal like youngin in the school. Being as Perry was he always took great joy in getting to spend time with those that had some similar traits to him as in being a animal with quirk one so mutated they were almost the same as such a state.
"Ah right right, The copy machine! Very good we can guide you my good small fuzzy youth! We'll get you there! I swear on my hero honor!" He'd say with a prideful nod and snort from his pink whiskered possum snoot. Nodding to the large and powerful Red Horn as she'd carry their bat friend with the short little legs. "Ah indeed! No villain will get the best of me at the lead! Forward we go!" He'd say as the possum teacher loosened his tie lightly before turning on a heel his tail moving in a light sway behind him as well as he'd lead them diligently and with a prideful fluff of his chest shoved out as he lead them to the copy machine in the lounge not far off. "Our goal be just ahead my good bean!"

Desmoshi smiled at the bat kid. "Nice to meet you Shiloh," Desmoshi said. "I am Desmoshi Haymaker. It is a pleasure to meet you." It was a nice sight to see. Pro heroes playing with a little... bat kid? Sure, go with that. Desmoshi gave a wide smile. Maybe the world wasn't going too bad. After the past few bad months, he had, it was actually good to see some happy people. Especially what he had been through as of late. His sister recovered well, Nimue-sensei able to patch the hole in her chest. That took some months to heal, but she was recovering just fine. But there was that inkling that Desmoshi could have done more.
But it didn't stop there. Lately, he had been having a pretty crappy time. First, he almost got into an argument with one of the third years. His aunt had to reel him in, letting him know that he needed to focus more on helping than getting into pointless arguments. Even Bobby Joe pointed out how serious he had become, reminding him of being the kid who would just enjoy life instead of fixing it.
Then Jack and Desmoshi almost got into it, thinking that his advice was some grand speech, accusing him of not understanding how he felt or what he dealt with. Which in course, in turn, cause Desmoshi to snap a bit, which was something he wouldn't usually do. Then the whole situation with the Wesker kid also threw into more confusion, but it seemed to remind him what he needed to focus on.
But it was Melody that changed his opinion of his situations. That there he was doing just fine and he needed to focus on his goals. But he couldn't do it alone he needed people to help him out and get him to that point. If he truly wanted peace between quirkless and quirkers Desmoshi needed to be himself and not what others wanted him to be. And Desmoshi understood at that moment. He wasn't this serious guy, caring about how the public felt about quirkers. He was the fun-loving guy who believed in peace between all and wanted to be the number one hero his way.
Desmoshi came from his thoughts as the group began their journey to the copier room. Something crossed his mind and he couldn't help but ask. "So, if you don't mind me asking. What are you using the copy machine for? Making signs or something?"

i'm in your eyes but you still can't see me now FIVE FIRST WORDS OF POST There was some juggling involved, as the band of adventurers prepared to embark on their quest for the copy machine. In one claw, Shiloh grasped his drawings—in the other, he grasped a juice drink—and he had asked Redhorn to pick-him up. But his claws were already filled! Thinking quickly, the child stuffed the papers in the bib of his overalls, where denim overlapped with t-shirt. There! The papers would be safe, there. And the woman obliged! Redhorn scooped him up, and started to place Shiloh on her shoulders, before thinking better of it and holding him more at her hip/to the side. This was perfect! He could still hold his drink, and he was so tall from up here and—wow! People were so nice and helpful! “Parfait!” the bat proclaimed, “Thank you, Miss Redhorn!”And with that, Perry would take the lead of their strange procession, followed by Redhorn and “Batty”, and the older boy Desmoshi. Desmoshi begged the obvious question—what did Shiloh need the copier for? The papers in the bib of his overalls crinkled, and the wide-eyed bat mutant blinked innocently at the inquiry, weighing his responses. “Uh…” the child trailed. If he told them now, would they still agree to help him? Would they tell Yellow Jacket? What if someone overheard and stopped them?! “It’s… top secret!” Shiloh announced, “But… it is… for copies!”Of course it was for copies—they were using the copier—but he wanted his valiant assistants to know that he wasn’t up to anything suspicious. Before long, the group arrived in the copy room, which had no less than two machines—one modern, and one archaic—a device for scanning quizzes, a microwave, and two stretches of counters covered in any office supplies a person could possibly need. In the center of the already-cramped room, a rectangular table with roughly six stools around it, roughly bar-height. As they passed the table, Shiloh proclaimed, “This is good!”And that was all the forewarning he gave before sliding out of Redhorn’s grasp and onto the tabletop itself. Still clasping his drink, he took a careful seat on the table, folding his legs beneath him. The juice drink, which was more than half polished-off by now, was set upon the table. “This is top secret, so you can’t tell anyone!” Shiloh insisted, “You gotta swear it. Swear it!”After the three accomplices swore their secrecy (however genuine their swears may or may not be), Shiloh withdrew the thin stack of papers, surveying the top one before placing it on the tabletop for his accomplices to inspect. It was a crudely-drawn picture, concentrated towards the top of the page and featuring two vaguely canine figures—one mostly orange, and one mostly black. “I lost my f- my fox. And my dog,” Shiloh explained. He’d almost said “friends”. Nice recovery, “And I want to find them. So I drew this. Like you know, when people lose their dog, they put papers on telephone poles? Like that? So I need to make copies.”He squinted at his work. He knew that Yellow Jacket and The Informant were working very hard to find Bishop and Wesker, but… maybe if Shiloh found them first, they could be together again? “Ah!” the child exclaimed, “They usually write on these papers! I don’t know how to write!”His ears began to droop again. | ft. mia, perry + desmoshi quirk: e-rank echolocation, flight, speed; f-rank durability, multilingualism |

Shooting the kid and Perry warm smiles each for playing along on their own levels, Mia made sure the kid wasn't being held uncomfortably or anything before continuing on along behind Perry to the copy room. Desmoshi still seemed to be along for the trip... as tempted as she was to ask why he wasn't in a classroom she decided not to spoil his fun and continued on with this weird little adventure they'd all decided to go on, chuckling quietly to herself in the process. Once they all arrived at the copy room, Shiloh seemed eager to wriggle out of her grasp, letting the kid sit themselves down with their top secret papers, though curiosity did beg her to finally ask herself.
"Okay then kid, we're all here, I think we at least deserve SOME of the top secret details right?"
As Shiloh laid out the papers Mia took a half step back to let the others see. She briefly considered offering Perry a lift up but... he made his way around this school all the time, and she didn't wanna seem rude or patronizing by offering him a leg up like that. Whatever the case, her own red gaze eventually drifted over the papers... a fox and a... she assumed a dog, and Shiloh soon confirmed it... huh, that was.. pretty sweet. It couldn't have been easy for the kid to lose some pets, and Mia wasn't fully aware of how he even ended up with YellowJacket but... if he lost his pets in the process it couldn't have been an easy thing to just sit with even with someone as caring as YellowJacket looking after 'em.
"Yeah I getcha... I don't see people doing it so much outside of America but... hey, just means there are more telephone poles free for you to use right?"
With Shiloh's realization the 'posters' were missing a key ingrediant, she felt like maybe she should warn him that the pictures may not give the clearest... 'picture' so to speak but... ah the kid was doing what he could, playing his part, and she'd slyly try and slip a word to YellowJacket later. Not mention what the kid was doing just... ask about these missing pets of his. See if she knew already. "Well, I have huge bloody mitts." She flexed her hands and then looked to Perry. "And Perry while I'm sure you're a better writer than me I imagine holding a pen in those tiny mitts isn't perfectly accurate..." Wanting to give the kid with them some part to play in this grand scheme, she nodded to desmoshi. "Kid? You wanna do the honours of finishing these off for our little secret agent?"
