APPEARANCE AND PERSONALITY
Appearance:
Yuusha Hikari, or more commonly known as Hikari to those that know her, stands at 1.54 meters tall. She shows sports very little muscle on her, giving her a slender frame. She has long blonde hair that reaches down to the bottom of her back when not tied in in preferred twin tails. From afar she looks like a delicate girl, but really that is very far from the truth. She was indeed a girl, but she was nowhere near delicate.
As for her wardrobe, she has a strong preference for skirts, leggings, and button shirts. She is completely capable of putting on and looking good in literally anything else, but she will most often be found wearing this combination. If not then she would be wearing shorts and shirts with weird sentences or phrases on them. When out doing her business of inflicting violence for the sake of justice and public safety, she wears her preferred combination, plus a reflective chrome mask with holes for her to see through and a beret.
She is very expressive with her emotions, whatever expression she currently has is highly likely to be a reflection of her inner thoughts in feelings.

Personality:
Having grown up in a normal household, Hikari can be considered a somewhat normal person. She doesn’t react strangely to certain things and can fit into any place she’s put into due to her lack of visible strangeness. That isn’t to say she doesn’t have moments where she’s the weirdest person in the room. From time to time she has brief episodes of strangeness, usually coming in the form of her saying something weird, a random interjection, or a very unorthodox action.
She often maintains a cheery demeanor no matter the situation. Only the truly grave situations can wipe the smile off her face and the cheer in her voice. She hasn’t faced much deception and sadness in her life so she’s still somewhat innocent and naive. She is very easy to lie to, not believing anyone would ever lie to her is her normal state.
She is somewhat of a pragmatist when it comes to her everyday life. She doesn’t have many frivolous habits and expenditures, going for a things usefulness and function over their aesthetic. She does have a bad habit of being somewhat of a show off when fighting, bright lights, loud sounds, speeches of herois, and flashy moves are things she does, uses, and embraces wholeheartedly.
Her persistent nature stems from the work ethic of her parents that she’s inherited. To do any job with her very best effort. Though not a very patient worker at all, she is at least able to throw herself at any task until completion or despair. When applying the same persistence to vigilante work, the result is she goes somewhat overboard and becomes a walking factory for collateral damage.

HISTORY
From her early years, Hikari was a very bright but strange child. She grew up in a loving home with both of her parents, her father being an accountant for a small business and her mother being a housewife, and two older siblings who were only sometimes mean to her. Despite being the youngest child in the family and getting mostly hand me downs, she never felt less loved than them.
Early on in her life she had developed a fascination for Quirks. With her sisters gaining their Quirks earlier on in their life and on the track to becoming heroes, she couldn’t wait for her Quirk to finally manifest and follow after their footsteps. She would spend almost every morning of her childhood years trying to get her Quirk to activate. She would pose and yell stuff at a mirror, mimicking poses and phrases from things she’s watched, in an effort to use her Quirk. Her family thought it was adorable, chalked it up to childishness and youthful enthusiasm and let her be.
Each year that went by with her Quirk still not manifesting dealt a blow to her hopes. A few years later she would stop posing and yelling in front of the mirror. A few more years after that she began to wonder if she would ever have a Quirk after all. She began to grow distant from her family, slowly becoming more and more reserved.
Then came the night that she was walking home from the convenience store and she was accosted by a man with a knife. She handed over everything she had on her to him but he still didn’t leave her alone and slowly backed her into a dead end, away from witnesses. It was at that moment that her Quirk manifested to protect her as a sudden surge of energy smashed into the criminal, shattering his ribs and knocking him out. She looked around, picked up her things from him, with a little extra from the criminal’s own pockets before running off, excited that she’d finally had a Quirk.
With the appearance of her Quirk she began trying to gain proficiency with it, practicing on criminal elements and establishing an identity for herself as a vigilante.
