Desmoshi banged his head over and over again on the outside picnic table sitting next to his favorite restaurant. Big Bobby Joe brought his BBQ and sat in front of the young, frustrated Haymaker. "No matter how much you do that," Bobby Joe said with a teasing smile, "it's not going to change the results." Desmoshi looked at the chef his face filled with frustration. "It took us two months to fix the Plaza," Desmoshi whined. "Now, we have to do it again." Bobby Joe shrugged. "Hey, it's not your fault," Bobby Joe reassured, looking out to the Plaza. "As long as you are willing to keep helping to put it back together, then that's all that matters."
The Plaza had seen been better days. During the time Desmoshi was in New York, most of Japan got hit with a zombie apocalypse. No, seriously. This happened. The details were foggy for Desmoshi, but it was done by a villain with the power to raise the dead. Oh, joy. More destructive that was running about. That's just wonderful. So Desmoshi, once again, put a list together of all the possible places that needed repairs. UA school. Tokyo City. Musutafu Suburbs. Musutafu Plaza.
On the last one, Desmoshi looked out towards the plaza, feeling disheartened. The pavement was cracked as destroyed cars and statues litter the ground. Windows were broken after weeks of fixing them. Some buildings had holes in it. This is worse than last time. "So you just going to give up?" Desmoshi looked up to see his aunt- or aunts- RJ standing over him with a construction crew behind her. "That's not the Haymaker way," she added with a smile, adjusting her advisors.
Desmoshi gave a wide smile. His aunt has joined the fray! He sent out a mass text to the students and everyone he knew. "You right, auntie. We make our own ring!" he yelled in excitement.

Juana walked and explored the fallout from the zombie apocalypse. She got trapped in a intenet or manga cafe place, with some guy and some kid. She had to seal the door ice shut with her Quirk so a horde wouldnt reach them. But how was that resolved? Well, even she doesnt know. Juana wasnt in the hot zone as the craziest stuff went down. But from rumours, there was a huge dragon involve. And elsewhere it was the top villains. But that was all rumours and heresay. But all in all, it was wild.
Now she looked at the destruction left behind. It was sad really. Someone had a vile quirk that would raise the dead. Loved ones that were resting were now gone, missing, mutilated and desecated. Such a saddening sight. At least she froze a zombie. That could be thawed out and preserved undamaged. Juana may have been a villain, but she was still human. She does not kill. She is a thief. She takes objects, not lives. This was not a pleasant sight for her. It just made her stop and sigh sadly. She looked in the distance, lost in thought, wondering where was her missing father in this mess. She didnt even notice the familiar UA student due to her distress

Well, this sucked.[break][break]
No, not the disaster zone that was their plaza. She knew what to expect when she heard the news. As annoying as the sight was, it wasn’t the first time she’d seen it. She doubted it would be the last either. Still, she wasn’t there to mourn the lives lost or bemoan the damage done. As the camera hanging from her neck could attest. She was there to document the student heroes of UA, showing that they didn’t need a qualification to do their job.[break][break]
Except the students – plural – were nowhere to be seen. She eyed one teenager; a face she vaguely recalled from the school’s halls. It was hard to miss Unity – a pleasant surprise, but a welcome one. Beyond that, she saw little more than civilians. A sorry scene to film, and not one that would help her cause. Disappointment rested on her face. Then irritation.[break][break]
Some work would need to be done.[break][break]
The girl pulled out her phone. Between her casual summer wear, her camera, and her sudden texting spree, she played the part of a clueless civilian well. After a few minutes of tapping, she turned her back to the plaza, holding her phone up for the perfect destruction selfie. If anybody peered over, they’d see her unamused face covering half of the wrecked square in her phone’s screen. More rapid texting followed; her fellow student only had to look at the school’s chatroom to put the pieces together.[break][break]
Perhaps the boy had already tried – and failed – to rally support. Maybe help was already on the way. Or, worst of all, apathy had struck the student body. Doubtful, the girl thought, and so she gave it her own attempt.[break][break]
A few minutes later (and a few promises of free food sent out), the phone was stashed back inside her bag – as was the camera she apparently wasn’t going to be using any time soon. She may not have arrived with hero work in mind, but she was still a hero student, and one that needed to set an example. Emi pulled her ammunition out of the bag – palm-sized balls that could easily be mistaken for bath bombs. It barely took a squeeze of her palms for them to collapse into grains of salt, but before gravity could make them touch the ground, the winds of her will swept them up, sending them swirling around her torso. No doubt, somebody would have words to share regarding her blatant quirk usage, but nothing on her face showed concern or care for it.[break][break]
Instead, her gaze was on a downed statue, having partially blocked the footpath. Casual steps took to the base of the bronze dog. A hand reached out, with no chance of reaching the figure, but she didn’t have to. The movement was seemingly enough to send the grains out to greet the dog. Wisps of salt in the air doubled, then tripled, into a flurry of white specks, only for them to rush together another the statue. The end result was a statue encased in oversized salt crystals, giving Emi the leverage she needed to lift it off the ground. All without a single touch.[break][break]
“Alright! If we don’t have enough people around to fix things up, the least we can do is start cleaning up. Make the area at least safe to walk through when the crews start working.” She didn’t look at anybody as she was speaking, but her voice was loud enough to draw a few ears. Or at least, she hoped. Her eyes were on the statue, which called for a lot more focus than she’d thought. Who knew that statues were so heavy?[break][break]
Not heavy enough to make her fail, thankfully. The statue was placed upright beside the platform it once stood upon. It would take more tools than she had (and more construction work than she cared for), to affix it properly, but for the moment, she had done the best she could do.[break][break]
And that was what heroes were all about, right?

Kiersa panted as she rushed over to the Musutafu plaza mentioned in Emi-senpai's messages in the chat room, panting and leaning forward once she arrived. She had been over at her cousins house helping her mother get the place back in order after the attack by the undead hordes, and seeing to everyones injuries that they had suffered. A few scrapes and bruises, but all the same she had to tend to them. She had a healing Quirk, and they were family...
Then Emi-senpai had started to berate the other UA Students for not being here to help in the reconstruction project, which of course kicked her self-guilt into overdrive and so she had rushed out of the house and grabbed the first train here as fast as she could. The blonde did have a small mote of satisfaction playing through her though as she recalled her cousin Rin's face when Kiersa had just up and left in the middle of one of her tirades.
Kiersa blinked and smacked her cheeks for having such a thought, shaking it away and pushing it down. She would have to apologise to Rin after she was done here. Although what she could do, she wasn't entirely certain... The former maid wasn't exactly that handy with any sort of construction tools, and she wasn't that strong so she couldn't handle any of the heavy lifting that there might be...
Which is why she had made one stop on the way here. The young blonde student took a slow breath before she made her way over towards what looked like the reconstruction planning table hub location. "I am so s-sorry for n-not arriving sooner!" said Kiersa, bowing as she apologised, before placing two large canvas bags down next to the table.
"I'm n-not sure what I c-can do to help the r-rebuilding efforts... B-But I thought that m-maybe everyone c-could use a d-drink and m-maybe some food?" she offered, emptying out the bags with various bottles of drinking water and packets of sandwiches of a variety of flavours.
It had taken a good chunk out of her allowance for the month to get all this, but it should be worth it for everyone else here to have something to refresh themselves after working so hard. She wasn't sure how many people that there would be here so she'd wound up buying a total of forty sandwiches and forty bottles of water just to err on the side of caution.
She bowed apologetically again once more. "I'm s-sorry again for m-my tardiness Desmoshi-senpai." the teen blonde student said.

There was still allot of work that needed done and it seemed like anytime that made some headway more chaos or villainy would break up that much more of the city. Perry found it quite annoying to say the least but at least the students and heroes willing to help could make things a little better. It not only was for the good of the people and the city but it helped show that heroes and the students rising to be heroes were apart from the villains that only cared about themselves. The world could be a dark and cruel place and it was up to these heroes and people like them to add a little light back to it when they had the opportunity.
"Seems like the work never ends at times doesn't it?" He said near Desmoshi having shown up early. Ready to get to work and letting out a wide grinned yawn. His little body was stiff so he attempted to do a few quick stretches to feel a bit more limber. Wondering exactly what part they may be focusing on today. "So what part of the job should we get working on today do you think?" He'd ask curiously ready yo get to work.

Unity. Also known as RJ Haymaker. She had chosen to wear her work clothes today, wanting to keep a low profile for her nephew's sake. Although the pink skin was a dead giveaway, she didn't want everyone to know that Unity was in the area. Sure the student body would know. Maybe even some of the pros that hanged out with her. She only had one secret that she kept to herself that only her family and a few select pros knew- or more, to themselves. But that was as far as it went.
Her achievements had already spread from New York, and she already made her first bust with the help of the Zombie King. But today, she was just RJ Haymaker. A supporting aunt to a wonderful nephew. Jokai had already helped with keeping the newscasters out of the area, giving her and anyone else a peaceful day of relaxation- or relaxing as it was going to get. The area was a disaster zone. But she knew they had this, even if there were not that many people.
"Good idea," RJ agreed with the pink-haired girl who had just walked up. "Making it a safe area for the other workers might get the job done faster. And hello Perry and Kiersa. Desmoshi has the list of everything that needs to get-." The barbeque restaurant walked up. "Sorry to interrupt," he said. "But this won't take three months like it did last time?" RJ heard about that and how much work Desmoshi put into it. "Even with construction crew, it might take longer than that," RJ said adjusting her blue/pink visors. "Why you ask?"
"Well the last time it took that long," the owner said, rubbing the back of his head, "a lot of people couldn't really afford to come back to work. Not only that, but most owners also can't pay for the time missed." He looked over to Perry and RJ and got in close. "Listen we know that some of the students from UA are quirkers. We don't mind as long as we can get this done so people can get back to there jobs. Plus Desmoshi always helps us out. We won't tell a soul about the kids using their quirks. Plus some of the construction workers eat at my place and some of them are quirk users too." The other construction workers nodded their heads in agreement, recently joining the conversation.
"Hmmm," RJ said in thought. 'Might be no other choice,' Rin thought. 'So be it. We will need everyone's help to make this go by smoothly,' Jeanne thought to her wife. RJ nodded in agreement. "Very well," she said making up her mind. She turned to Perry. "I will take the heat if we get caught. The students are permitted to use their quirk to get this job done." She turned to the students that were present. "But keep it at a minimum. The less attention the better. If we do that, it will probably cut the time in half." She turned to Perry, waiting for his approval. "Do you agree, Perry?"

Desmoshi looked at the mess around him. So much has happened here. It was like this place was a magnet for villains. First, Ishtar and now Loki. These people just wanted to live their lives. Didn't the villains know that by doing this, it did not solve the problem? Quirkers and quirkless needed to work together to pull this off. It was a long shot, but it could be done. Otherwise...
His thoughts were interrupted by the approach of a pink-haired girl with golden eyes, a bronze dog, and Kiersa, the first year he has met many times already. "Hello, I am Desmoshi Haymaker from 2-A. And Kiersa, you being here is just as good. Help wherever you can." Perry-sensei eventually joined the group, remarking how much work had to be done. "Yeah," Desmoshi replied. "But everyone pitches in we should get it done."
Desmoshi overheard the conversation with RJ and Bobby Joe, saying that the work needed to be faster so they can return to work. Some of the construction workers had quirks of their own and can help speed up the process if the kids use theirs. Of course, no one had to know about them doing this if it would be a problem.
RJ gave thumbs up for the students to use their quirks. The only one left was Perry-sensei. "It would be helpful," Desmoshi chipped looking at the list. "We have to clear all the rubble in the plaza. Then, once again, we are going to build a couple of buildings from scratch. Along with the fact that would need to repair damages to buildings and replace the fixtures. All in all, it took about two months for the last one because the damage was light. But this," Desmoshi pointed to the plaza, "could take a good five months at best. A lot of businesses would lose profit and be forced to close. If we use our quirks and keep the news crew out."
Desmoshi pointed to Emi, who had her camera. "Once everything is said and done," he added, "we can say that the pros and students along with the crew work quickly together to bring peace in Musutafu. We don't have to even tell them quirks were used for the process," Desmoshi was doing his best to put options on the table, hopefully appealing to everyone. Hopefully, the quicker they made a decision, the quicker they could get the work done.

Hinata walked out of Novabucks with two huge cardboard containers full of Coffee and a little tap in each and made his way to the meeting spot. Hinata was wearing a mask to cover his face-since y' know being a zombie after a mini zombie apocalypse is not a good look- at all. So Hinata decided to make use of himself by helping the people who can help. Haymaker 1 was out here helping people, and Hinata couldn't do much outside of getting the group drinks. Heh-fifteen minutes late with Novabucks quite funny if he so says so himself.
Hinata was rereading the chatroom, and he felt kind of bad ignoring his students a bit in this department. But they were little gremlins who he needed a break from once in a while. But they were his little gremlins. Oh, look one of his little gremlins was already here, Hinata mused to himself as he saw the panicked blond girl-Hinata raised his voice as he saw what she brought, "Damn you little monsters are always on top of things-" Hinata says as he places his Novabucks drinks next to Kiersa's food and drinks. But Hinata smiles down at the small blond as he spoke-"But Yo-Hinata here-excuse my tardiness." Hinata gave the group a smirk and a two-finger salute.
"What'd I miss?" Hinata asked curiously of the group. Hinata smiles at all the familiar faces here at this plaza-no matter how many times he sees them or anything else like that he enjoys seeing the same faces again and again-felt strange and foreign but good- right. Hinata was glad his mask was hiding his expression otherwise it'd be hard to explain why he was smiling like a damn fool- damn these kids made him soft and it hasn't even been a full year yet.

[nospaces] [attr="class","wassup1dangerhead"] [attr="class","wassup1dangerbody"] [attr="class","wassup1dangericon"] [attr="class","wassup1dangertxt"] Ah, the power of texts. And bribes. Mostly bribes, but Emi preferred to believe her words still held some sway. Support arrived – in at least one case, literally. A young girl that had to be a student arrived, but judging by her apology to the boy now known as Desmoshi, she had to assume that the sushi hadn’t summoned her. Then there was the possum, who was likely doing his job… And she certainly hadn’t called on a masked man, although she’d keep a stray eye on him… Maybe her words weren’t enough after all. A shame.[break][break]
Folded arms and an annoyed look directed themselves at nobody in particular. While the adults busied themselves talking, Emi set herself back to her task. Strange, how nobody had called out her blatant and seemingly unauthorized quirk use, but if they weren’t going to complain then neither was she. Their talk would eventually end in the students being given the green light, all the while Emi continued whizzing her element around her. Clumps of cubic crystals acted as makeshift scoops, brooms and claws to move debris aside, all without dirtying her hands.[break][break]
The others only gave her a few reasons to pause. Emi quirked an eyebrow at the offerings the stuttering underclassman had brought along. Desmoshi had referred to the girl as Kiersa, which matched the name of a student she’d rallied in the chat… And yet, not only had the girl gone to him first, but she’d brought meals after Emi had offered a meal to those that came to help.[break][break]
It must have been a coincidence. Or a mistake. Definitely not a slight against her. Of course not. Why would somebody go so far out of their way to show her up? She tried to rid herself of the thoughts, but remnants lingered, adding to what was already shaping up to be a bad mood. Whatever. She wasn’t on the scene to make friends. She was there to help, and perhaps get some footage. And so she’d do just that, sending her quirk to whisk a slab of pavement out of the road- [break][break]
Desmoshi pointed at her. Him, a second year, felt the need to tell her, UA’s only student reporter, how to do her job. As if she would have brought a DSLR for any reason besides documenting the heroic response. She stared at the boy. No, rather, she gave him a very restrained glare. A long, steady inhale stopped her short of voicing thoughts she’d regret speaking in front of pros and peers alike. “Yeah. I mean, I definitely wasn’t planning to do that.” Too sarcastic, she realised too late. Being straight suited her much better. “Actually, no, it was. Kinda weird for you to assume I would do anything but that. Little bit condescending, but mostly confusing. Why don’t we focus on fixing things instead?” [break][break]
The cynicism hadn’t completely left her voice, but it was close enough to gone in her mind. “If somebody wants to help me get the road clear, we can make things a lot easier for when the construction crew starts rolling in.” She continued to do just that – trying to make the path at least slightly resemble a safe route. It was, of course, a task much easier said than done. Chunks of upturned cement, fallen lights knocked down bins had littered the area with glass, garbage and the like. They had their work cut out for them, to say the least.

She soon noticed a bunch of kids and Pro Heroes arrive to the scene. Apparently they organized themselves a little get together to fix the town. How sweet of them. Granted as a poor and tired civillian she couldnt do much. And besides none of the supposed heroes went to check up on her. So she didnt bother to interract with any one of them. Instead she found a nearby bench to sit down and observe them. She was gonna gather some energy and then she would consider helpin them. Although she doubted she could help them. Her Quirk wasnt construction based nor would it assist anyone in any way. The only way she could help them was as a poor quirkless and tired civillian.
"I doubt any one of those needs any help." she pesimistically thought to herself She watched Unity, Zombie King and Paw Might mingle with their hero students as they talked and decided what to do. There was a sassy pink haired lass. And a shy and timid blond one. As well as the familiar boy. She watched the boy apparently take charge, while the pink haired lass just told him off in a sarcastic way. It was interesting dynamic she was seeing

"Hinata-sensei." the first year student said, bowing her head as she greeted her homeroom teacher. It was a shame that he had to wear a mask, but in light of the recent reasons for the damage around them... Probably a safer solution than having to sit on the sidelines till everything had blown over.
Kiersa nodded as it was decided that they could all use their Quirks to try and help speed things along... Until she hit on a snag for her part in helping out. Her Quirk was healing and lights, which she very much doubted would be of any use in any kind of construction. But she could help out in other ways maybe? The young blonde looked around before she spotted a brush and went to collect it, when she spotted a woman sitting on a nearby bench who looked exhausted.
The young blonde instead of resuming going for the brush, instead went ahead and collected one of the bottles of water and a random sandwich from the table, and made her way over towards her. "Umm... e-excuse me miss? A-Are you alright?" she asked, before offering her the beverage and lunch items.
"Umm... d-do you n-need any m-medical attention? It's n-not m-much but I c-can help d-deal with a-any cuts or bruising y-you might have w-with my Quirk?" Kiersa offered, wondering if this woman had been caught up in the zombie chaos and hadn't seen any doctors yet.

He tapped his small fuzzy chin given what R.J. had to say on the whole quirk issue. But Perry agreed rather easily not putting a challenge seemingly thinking it'd be a well taken care of idea given the whole reason the good student had arranged allot of this care taking. Setting a good image for those around that might see the heroes and students at work could see they could trust the quirkers on their side and not worry that they were all the same that many anti quirkers seemed to think like. "As long as no excessive or unneeded use and I think it should be fine. Just make sure we're all careful and no one makes themselves to much of a focus. We can do this but we have to make sure we handle it as responsibly as any other hero work you'd do at any other time as well." He'd saw with a wide possum grin his species was known for the little toothy smile giving a kind and warm impression to all those that might look upon him.
He seemed to ponder quickly scribbling up some building blueprints nearby as the idea of building and creating always got his little gears turning. It wouldn't take him long till he'd have several ideas on how to rebuild the buildings damaged better then before and affordable in materials listed. His creative skills really shining through showing the big brain at work he was known for.

RJ could tell when Desmoshi was about to get upset. It was auntie thing. But it was very rare for him to let something bother him. But today was not the day for this. And at the moment his eyes flickered red for a second, RJ intervened between the two. "Desmoshi, you kind of asked for it," she said plainly. "You should learn to trust your team. I am sure everyone knows of the risks. You and I will talk later." She hated being straightforward with her nephew, but this wasn't the Desmoshi she knew. He was much stricter than he should be. Not only that, but Desmoshi was also clearly frustrated from doing it again for the second time in a row. Maybe the riots did something to him.
But RJ wasn't done yet as she turned to Emi. "However," RJ said rounding on her. "Sarcasm won't solve issues. It will only frustrate people. You are here to help. If not you can leave." She pointed at Kiersa as she went to help the woman to make sure she was okay. "That's what you two need to be right now. Helping people. That's the focus of today."
RJ got a smile to her face as a thought came to mind. "You know what? Desmoshi why don't you and this lovely lady help the construction clear the roads? Maybe getting to know one another would do you some good." Desmoshi was getting ready to argue, but RJ put her hands up to stop any arguments. "Desmoshi, you could use a break," she said putting a hand on her shoulder. "Let someone else help." Desmoshi sighed, knowing that she was right. The pressure of trying to be a leader was getting to him and he knew it. "Kiersa will join you once she is done helping the woman. Now, off you go."
She looked at the construction crew. One had a metal jaw and he stated he could eat the rocks. Another one had a tongue with rainbow colors on it and he was going to repaint the building. And then the rest were just regular people, about twenty or so. "Good," RJ said after checking everyone in. "Go with the students and clear out the roads. That way, we can get more construction crews in. Off you go."
Once the two had left with the crew, she turned to the pros. "We are going to clear out the buildings of rubble. I heard that one of the buildings was a bar and have broken equipment in it. He said we are free to take anything since he would be throwing it away and getting new equipment. But first, we will see if the woman needs help." She walked over to Kiersa and the woman. "Is everything okay?" she asked the woman.

Desmoshi was frustrated, to say the least. All he was trying to do was lead. He was trying to be rude about anything. Just as he was about to respond, RJ stepped in and told them both off. Mostly Desmoshi. Maybe the stress was finally getting to him. He just didn't want to mess this up. But he wasn't himself and he knew that. So after receiving what to do about the roads, Desmoshi grumbled away from the rest of the group, covering his hands in stone with his quirk. He needed to hit something. Good thing that rocks were here.
Desmoshi began breaking the rocks one punch at a time, letting his frustration get out as best as he could. "You know, the rocks don't hit back," Bobby Joe joked as he heaved rocks into a pile. "Not in the mood," Desmoshi responded back. "Yeah I could tell," said Bobby Joe. "You know, to be honest, you were kind of being a little too much back there. That girl did nothing to you." Desmoshi stopped what he was doing and looked at Bobby angrily. "I am not-!" Desmoshi started. Bobby put up his hand. "Hear me out kid," Bobby said. "Ask yourself a question. Why do you put so much on your shoulder?"
Desmoshi stopped for a second. He thought it was for peace between people that he was doing all this. But now, he wasn't sure. "All I am saying is that you are trying to be someone you are not," Bobby Joe continued. "What happen to the fun-loving kid that came into my restaurant, eating me out of house and home? The guy who helped people because it was the right thing to do.? I know you are not doing it for the spotlight kid, but now you all responsible and strict. Is that the hero you really want to be?" He walked back to the crew to help out. "Think about it kid," Bobby Joe called back.
Desmoshi stood there stunned for a second. When did he changed? He was doing this so he didn't failed. But then when did he care so much about failure? It wasn't like him. Bobby Joe's words sank in. In the past few months, Desmoshi had been on a rollercoaster of emotions. From watching his friends get hurt to meeting people who wanted no change at all. He felt like he needed to put on a persona that was responsible and straightfoward. But the more he thought about it, the more he slowly came to realize that maybe this wasn't him at all.

Juana looked and noticed the blonde one approach her. She gave her a warm smile. "I am much better now" indeed, sometimes simply having someone to care and ask how are you, is enough to make someone feel better. Maybe not physically, but psychologically or emotionally yes. She then noticed the beverage and lunch items, which she gladly took "Thank you very much, young miss" she thanked the blonde hero
And the hero did not disappoint with further care. "I do not need any medical attention, I believe. I just had my fill of zombies and battles. Besides, my Quirk allows me to regenerate those small kind of wounds faster than normal. Not as strong as pure regenerators, but it is good enough. Anywho~ I would help your efforts, but I am not sure I can" she gently spoke to the young blonde child.
This politeness was indeed what she was missing ever since she came to Japan. Sadly, she only and mostly encountred rude people. Perhaps kindness should not go unrewarded. Plus it can be nice to have a friend, even if they are a minor. She soon glanced at the Pro Heroes. If she recalled correctly and she was sure she did... the heroes were Paw Might, Unity and... Zombie King, who was rather jarring to her since they had a zombie scuffle
