Strangely said that after three years there were still students she did not know too much about. Surely she knew Chloe was in her Biology class before Nimue changed to teaching homeroom of 1-S. She would remember the girl as pretty and soft-spoken? Or was that someone else, she would have to see as she got the invite to work with her for her apprenticeship. Obviously Nimue was delighted to hear so and she was immediately replying that she could meet her at this time in the infirmary. As per usual of her internships and apprenticeships, Nimue would hold a short little interview idea that would teach her what the student would like to accomplish and what they would focus on. If that was healing or more rescue. With Chloe she had the idea it was the aspect of the latter, considering what she signed up for in the sports festival last year. Nimue had done a bit of research but there was only so much the files could tell her.
So she would wait, prepare to make tea which she also did to make the situation as calm and friendly as possible. Hm, the problem with patrols and considering how to approach the future and apprenticeships was that obviously not every day there would be something happening. That was something to discuss as well. Nimue wrote down a few things for herself while waiting for the kettle to finish boiling the tea water and for Chloe to come. She still had time, Nimue was just preparing. The few words were just to make sure she did not forget to ask or tell Chloe about something specific. Everything was obviously most easier learned on the job but you had to prepare people. Would Chloe already have a hero outfit and would she bring it with her and did she have a hero name, sometimes she forgot to ask such as with Jisatsu, it was good he told her... or did she ask him? Well did not matter it would get to that point eventually she was sure this would go fine but hopefully she would not disappoint. In these hard times going outside with a list with their names on it, she wanted to be prepared. Nimue herself has already dressed in her hero outfit only the hood of her outfit was still down and her green hair still visible. The red markings on her face were easy to spot and apart from a medical kit on her back and the three pieces of her spear strapped to a belt she was doing normal, or so she thought?

Fancy us meeting like this~? ❝ I really need to settle on a design for my costume, don’t I? A young brunette feeling just a little bit self-conscious as she moved through the streets and that making her look down at herself and fiddle with the zip on her midnight blue tracksuit, even though she was perfectly comfortable wearing the school issue item both on and off campus, given the task that she had been called out for today Chloe Crawford couldn’t help but feel out of place. Not because of the people around her, but rather because of her peers. Having been at her new transfer school for quite a few months now and spending those days admiring the daring designs of her classmates and teachers, even though she had made great progress with catching up with them in many areas it seemed that image was one in which she felt lagging behind, which seemed especially prominent now that she was acting more visible as a hero. I’m already in my third year and wearing this kind of thing still? Almost feeling like she was slumming it in the garb she was wearing, it lacked that flashy appeal and brand-like message of which so many others had boasted, and she chalked it up largely to her own indecisiveness. Certainly feeling like those tight one piece numbers like her friend Kanna wore really inspired the comic-book image of a crime fighter and yet not feeling all that comfortable in wearing such a thing herself, it felt like the amazing apparel she saw herself wearing while doing her duties would lay in a different direction, but what that was she still hadn’t quite figured out yet, and with how near she was getting to her graduation that seemed to be becoming quite the bugbear for the brit. She wanted something ladylike and modest whilst also being that little bit captivating, and yet from what she saw, no one had anything like that which she could model herself on. It was all spandex and second skin layers in the media, which just made herself feel out of place on the whole. “Oh, Nimue-sensei, thank you for making the time~” For the time being however seeming to have fatter fish due on her frying pan than matters of fashion, after rounding one bend and then the next Miss Crawford found herself nearing the figure she had sought since setting out, and hoped that the woman who waited for her wasn’t disappointed to see her lack of epic ensemble accompaniment. All too easily recognising the pretty nurse of the school from her time in Art Club, whilst the airy angel hadn’t had all that much time to get to know her would-be mentor in the interim due to various pressures and distractions she had always found the woman to be pleasant and polite, as well as really rather beautiful, but only the former two facts were enough for the teen to treat her with the loftiest of manners that she could. “I hope I’m not adding to your load too much with this?” Appreciative of the woman whose hair colour nearly seemed to match that of the gaze of the girl herself for more reasons than just the simple access she provided, Chloe was starting her apprenticeship a bit late with someone who had admittedly been her second choice for teacher, but knew that her decision had come down to no particular shortcoming when it came to the woman known to some as Seidhkona. If anything only veering more toward her first choice because she felt like an aerial specialist like Yellow Jacket might have offered her a little more expertise when it came to her air-based quirk, but ultimately it felt like they both had a broad enough skillset and focus to be of benefit to the brunette. Just in perhaps slightly different ways…

Nimue's hero outfit wasn't even that special. The loose-fitting clothing was just hiding her jeans or trousers that she wore and the shirt, it gave her enough pockets and room to move and be quicker, something she should definitely train for instead of all the other things that she was doing but who knew why. For now, it was important to be ready to go out for a patrol with... did she write down Chloe's hero alias or did the girl not have one yet? Something to remember, she was a bit chaotic the last couple of days, which was a shame she did not want Chloe to think that she was bothering her. Which was exactly one of the questions that the girl asked and Nimue tried to not sigh because that would come off in a bad way instead of Nimue's own worry. "You are not adding to my workload, I am here to help you so it's all fine. I hope you don't mind going out for a patrol?" Not all seemed to be okay with it or had a lot of anxiety about it and she thought about a few of the others, she was sure that Chloe had to go out eventually so if not now another day. The girl was very polite, maybe even shy? The teacher wasn't entirely sure, being a biology class teacher wasn't the same as going out with her as pro-hero or mentor. She looked Chloe up and down, no hero outfit? That's a part why she asked that question if she minds going on a patrol but well the tracksuit was fine it was just not establishing a lot yet... She wondered if she should ask if the girl wanted to hide more about her identity. She had learned after her internship training with the second years that she focused far too much on it.
"If you are all set to go, I would just like to ask a couple of questions before we leave Yuuei. I just want to make sure that your apprenticeship with me is well teaching you or giving you the opportunities you need. Can you tell me what you would like to learn or what kind of hero you want to become? Also feel free to ask me any questions that you are wondering about." Full transparency is what was necessary in this stage of education right? Else you can never teach a proper way... though it was hard to say if there was a proper way... Another discussion for another day for sure.

Fancy us meeting like this~? ❝ “O-Oh, not at all! I'd be happy to patrol with you, sensei~” Glad to hear that her teacher didn’t seem to be bothered by the struggle that would come from adding Miss Crawford to her workload but all the more relieved when she didn’t seem to make her feel bad for not having her costume yet either, the bubbly brunette showed a small smile as she was asked whether or not she minded a little patrol-type action, and shook her head as she confirmed the fact that she would have absolutely no objection to it at all. “I didn’t have many chances to do that at the Valiant Academy, and given my transfer I didn’t get the chance to do much intern work either so this will be good experience for me?” Quickly adding that she was perhaps that little bit inexperienced when it came to doing such things and because of this eager to expand her experience and elevate her confidence when it came to such a simple habit of hero work, though the cheeks of the girl with the green gaze grew warmer when she admitted she was probably lagging a little behind the average third year in this aspect due to the peculiarities of her studies, she hoped that her honesty would help her new mentor make informed and understanding decisions when it came to their training. “Hmmmmm, well, I can do OK in a fight but honestly I like helping people more than I do hurting them?” Lifting her hand to her jaw and softly rubbing that space between chin and lower lip as she found her aims and aspirations for this educational experience being questioned by her senior, after a moment of contemplation Chloe opted to play it straight with her tastes and interests when it came to her work, and hoped that this verdant vixen would be understanding of her uncommonly seen focus. “So I want to be a hero whose more dedicated to helping people in trouble, any kind of trouble, than taking the fight to villains?” Letting out a small sigh as she talked and easily managing to identify the fact that she perhaps went somewhat against the usual heroic grain when she confessed the fact that she didn’t have a high degree of fondness for battle, ultimately she wanted to paint a picture of the person she was rather than try and be something she wasn’t, and in a way guessed that the superb Seidhkona might just comprehend her that bit better than most. “I’m not… I mean I can fight if I have to, but… I think I’d be better placed in emergency situations like accidents and widespread damage than combating master criminals?” Always feeling that little bit humbled and perhaps rather cowardly when she confessed the fact that she didn’t have much of an appetite for battle, while some of her classmates seemed to have been running around looking for opportunities to prove their prowess in battle, she had always had smaller and more honest aims which had always felt overshadowed by the big egos she sensed in her peer group. “And well, you seem like you are about more than just fighting bad guys so… I thought you’d maybe understand what I want a little better than most…?” However, it seeming that the newly christened number one pro hero was cut from a different cloth than her more ferocious predecessor in the position, in the humble opinion of Miss Crawford it appeared that Nimue Nakahara had always seemed to have more balance and range to her work than the average battle hardened veteran, and that was something that the emerald eyed lass wished to emulate. She wanted to be more than a simple fighter, and even if it was a bit naïve and idealistic, she believed that there was more to being a hero than beating back those who wished to do evil…

Oh right, Chloe came from Valiant, that was an interesting thing actually. Nimue had missed out on going to England and she was going to miss out on it again now that she was the homeroom teacher of the first years, but well, one day, she was sure it would work. She was actually glad the girl did not mind to go on a patrol immediately. With most students, she did a test or showed around her work but as it felt like Chloe wanted to have the experience of an intern and apprentice, she immediately suggested to do a patrol. They could talk and learn more about what else they could do while they were walking around trying to fix issues. Surely she would ask the basic questions because an apprenticeship or internship or whatever word you want to pick, needed to be worth Chloe her time and she needed to learn something from it, so that was what Nimue had as a goal and thus before they left she would ask that.
She nodded, well at least that worked well because she totally agreed with Chloe. She rather did not fight when not necessary. Words brought you so far and people quickly underestimated that, but there was sometimes no other way. Especially not when your opponents were... yea well the top ten villains. She highly doubts they would bump into them now. But it was good to know and she smiled at Chloe for the information and would wonder if she had more to tell her before she would make a little detour to get her own medical kit from the room next door and then they could leave. "I can definitely relate to that so don't worry. Sometimes we have no choice but that is something that we deal with while we focus on our goal." That goal was to help people instead of being obstacles for villains and others and she was glad that she could agree with that for Chloe. She gave a soft chuckle, "I agree with you in that way, so that helps. We will see what brings us today, we cannot predict that of course." It might be useful for her to find a partner that is more into combat, whether that was with words or power that was up to them but it would never be a bad thing to have someone to back you up if you rather not. She nodded, Chloe wasn't wrong. She was dressed in her UA sports outfit, so she assumed the girl had no hero outfit yet, might be something to push her a little in too. "Yes, and don't feel shy or embarrassed to tell that. We need people like you as well, else everyone is always fighting and no one looks after the civilians, are you interested in first aid or medical aid as well perhaps?" That would make today a little bit like Christmas right? When your students had a bit of a path like you. She would get the medical kit and put it around her hips with a belt and took the hood of her hero outfit and pulled it over her hair and made sure it was secure to not fall off and show her hair.
She would walk out of the building but right before leaving the compound she turned to Chloe, "We should address each other by our hero alias, so that means you will call me Witch Doctor and I will call you?" She had no information about everyone their hero names and so on, so she would ask for Chloe to introduce her other name before they would leave the streets of Yuuei.

Fancy us meeting like this~? ❝ “Hehehehe, t-thank you, it means a lot to hear that from you, Sensei…” A little bit flustered as the green goddess seemed to confirm the ideals that Miss Crawford had expected from her, even though the blushing brit had expected Nimue to treat her ideals with understanding and support, because of how different she had felt from the regular pack she couldn’t help but feel moved to have her convictions affirmed by the popular pro who occupied the number one spot on the charts. Validation seeming like something that was rare in the circuit in her experience, especially since coming to the competitive environment which was UA, even though the simple act of acknowledgement and insight if felt for the foreign femme as if the beryl beauty had lifted a great weight off her shoulders and though her eyes stung a little and a bud or two of wetness built up in them, she felt as if she could let loose a long held in breath of relief as a result. “Hehehehe, yes, I’ve been working on my skills in first aid ever since I started studying to be a hero…” Chuckling softly and then nodding eagerly when she was asked about her interest in medicine and aiding others, not only could Chloe confirm her conviction in this area, but she could also boast of the fact that she had experience and expertise in it as well. “I’m sure my abilities hardly match someone with a healing quirk, or a person with abilities like you, but I can be pretty handy taking care of injuries and the like?” Hardly a master surgeon or ace diagnostician but no slouch of either, in a way she was proud of the fact that she was rather high in the charts when it came to her skills when dealing with wounds and other kinds of hurt, and while there were absolutely people out there with reasons to be much better than she was the bubbly brunette was happy to reveal that she was a capable, EMT level medic thanks to her practice and patient study over the past couple of years. “O-Oh, right! Hehehehe, well, this was a name that someone back at Valiant suggested, it doesn’t entirely suit my quirk or anything but they said it suited me…” Chirping in surprise when she was asked about her hero name because it felt so rare that it would come up as a question given the fact that she was far from the most popular or prominent pupil at the school, a tinge of redness appeared in the cheeks of the emerald eyed lass as she admitted the fact that she hadn’t actually come up with her own name, but despite that fact liked it all the same. “It’s um, ‘White Wind’…? I like it because it feels a little… Elegant~?” Not offering a particularly strong association with her ability beyond that loose air association but seeming a little poetic and pure of heart as well, though the woman herself did not deem herself worth of great note she thought that the name she had been given to practice heroics was really rather lovely, and hopefully so did her mentor as well…?

Nimue was always glad if she could take the stress or worry away from students by just telling that there was nothing wrong with their goals. In the case of Chloe, it was even easier as this was how Nimue herself wanted to be, of course, that had not stopped her fighting and tangling in dangerous situations with villains and she should explain to Chloe that it wasn't always possible that way unless she preferred to be a support student but that was probably not even a thing to consider at this time a day, she was already a third year. Besides, it shouldn't matter too much, in the end you would become a hero. Nimue was glad to hear about Chloe her challenges and how she worked on that and she nodded, "Don't compare yourself with someone who did six years medical school though," She could not help but laugh, "You will get there eventually if you give yourself the time." She gave a small smile because she was sure Chloe understood that well, considering what she had just said so that was fine with Nimue, she just wanted to warn her a little, she needed time and she should be able to provide that for herself. While talking she was getting ready to leave, considering Chloe wore a track suit she imagined the girl did not have a hero outfit yet, that was on the one hand okay but it could maybe not harm that much to push her a little to work on it. But then again, Nimue had promised herself she would be less focused on what others wanted and felt comfortable about because she was not going to fill in her students lives for them.
She wasn't keeping up with hero names and she hoped Chloe did not take it personal. Some really swapped their names a lot so she always asked people and some did not come up with a name yet, it was not something in her records either as it wasn't necessary for the infirmary. She was just curious and would thus walk out of the school building and would look at Chloe before they would leave the perimeter of the school and discuss their hero names. "That's nice." She said, and she meant it, she still came up with Witch Doctor herself and she wasn't even sure if it fit the bill properly herself, but it worked and it was known now, no time to change it anymore, even if she came up with another idea. "It does sound quite elegant, I like it." Nimue confirmed what Chloe seemed to be a bit shy about and she smiled again to her apprentice and beckoned her to come along, they were going to see if there was any work today in Musutafu, maybe next time they could go to Tokyo, but first things first. "So like you said helping people in trouble, I make at first no distinction about the amount of trouble, whether it is an old lady needing help or a young girl got her cat stuck in the tree, I want to be there for people. Obviously the distinction comes when something bigger and worse is happening, for example if the police calls, I cannot help the old lady crossing the street or make time for a pocket thief, which is unfortunate but priorities sometimes have to be made." It was hard to explain and it was most of the time also a feeling; what was more important? It didn't happen too often that she wanted to be at two places at the same time, so that helped.

Fancy us meeting like this~? ❝ “Hehehehe, y-you think so…?” Chuckling softly as her cheeks flooded with colour when her abilities seemed to have been praised a little by her new mentor, Miss Crawford beamed through blushing as she bathed in that feeling of validation, and peeled one side of her brown bangs behind her ear as she did so as well. “Six years huh? Is that how long you did? You look so young…” Curiosity growing as well because of the details that Nimue shared with her, she questioned her teacher in wistful and almost absent minded fashion of disbelief, finding it absolutely incredible that the woman could have dedicated so much of her time to her studies and still come out as a magnificent mix of medic and crime fighter. Though it made sense, after all, she was the number one hero now, wasn't she? "Heheheheh, yeah, when they suggested it I was delighted~?" Those emerald eyes growing that little bit misty as she recalled the occasion on which she received her moniker back at the Valiant academy, Chloe could remember clearly the lessons she had with her friends when they had been shooting their suggestions between each other, and how happy she had been when one of them had found such a wonderful name for herself. Rarely the sort who let herself get too lost in homesickness these days but the poignancy of the moment getting the better of her, all too quickly that green gaze was beginning to sting and she felt the urge to let loose a tear or two as the sensitive sylph remembered those happy times, and more so how her name had brought a little piece of them with her; like a memento of her time at the school. "Do you have a meaning behind your own name, 'Seidhkona'~?" All this talk of Epithets making Miss Crawford curious about that of her mentor as well, after glancing away to peel away those tiny droplets of dew which had built in the corners of her eyes the blushing brunette took a deep breath and asked Nimue about her own 'label' associated with heroism, and hoped that at the very least she might understand it better if she asked about it. "It has a lot of mystique~"A girl who loved her languages and matters of myth and history because of her mother and yet unable to place exactly where in the world such a title had come from, let alone what it meant, it carried an intriguing feeling of the exotic about it, and equal if not more grace and glory than even her own elegant choice as well. "Heeheehee, my powers are especially good for cats in trees, I can make them a nice little path to come down on, or lift myself up to them~?" Giggling again when the older woman spoke of slightly cartoonish scenarios in which they might need their abilities and responding to the issue with a mix of humour and sincerity, while she largely guessed that the woman before her was being that little bit playful when she stressed the importance of stranded felines in their work, Chloe was more than happy to speak of how versatile her powers could be in response to that. "I suppose that's why interns and sidekicks are useful to a top level pro? They can help you focus your efforts more broadly?" Also sensing what she thought was maybe the mildest form of regret from her teacher when next the woman mentioned needing to abandon the pursuit of smaller forms of misdeed in order to pursue more prominent emergency situations, the green eyed girl could only guess that the reason behind this was one of simple manpower more than anything else. Heroes were still pretty rare even in Japan of all places, and as such could use some sorely needed reinforcement, but at least that was on the horizon; it wouldn't be all that many months until the students were out on the street with these people on a regular basis, now would it…?

Nimue looked a little worried, though definitely tried to hide that from Chloe. She was a person that worked with positivity and she honestly believed Chloe was doing very well if that was her level already compared to Nimue who had studied it for six years before and technically was still studying because she did not have a speciality and quit medical school so to say, and started working at Yuuei. She made a supportive sound to acknowledge that she did six years and couldn't help but laugh in the end about Chloe her comment, "Thank you, I take that as a compliment." Though she was young like she realized before she wasn't really done. "I am turning twenty-six in a few months. But I started studying immediately when I came here to Japan when I was eighteen. Actually, six years is quite short to study medicine, you only learned the basics but I wanted to study about quirks and that wasn't there so I decided to try my luck at learning and working at the same time. The school nurse job opened up at Yuuei so I tried my luck there and got it. I learned quite a lot in that year and eventually was asked for the expertise and the like in the hospital, funny little life I got if you look at it that way." She was now considered an expert, making and helping with writing information and finding solutions for medical issues. She invented bandage and band-aid for transformer and mutation quirkers. It was interesting to talk about something that could be considered so normal and yet they were on a different path. It was interesting.
Before they would really start the patrol, Nimue needed to know Chloe her alias, White Wind sounded indeed quite elegant and she smiled shortly at her apprentice and nodded, "I can imagine." She sometimes had her doubt if Witch Doctor was a good name but it stuck and it worked fine so that was what happened. She looked up, having missed the emotional rollercoaster that Chloe experienced due to the homesick feeling, she could slightly relate to that but she had no idea. "Seidhkona?" She asked, surprised that Chloe knew the name of her quirk, that's what they called it back in Africa and how she was registered here, though they had not liked it, such a foreign word but the girl pronounced it right, it wasn't that difficult. "It's basically my hero alias. Seidhkona is a shaman in my native country South Africa, a woman that would be able to talk to the spirits. My tribe called it that and it inspired me to use the name Witch Doctor." Also because it was definitely easier remembered and pronounced then Seidhkona.
Chloe looked always so shy or maybe timid was what Nimue remembered from Biology classes but maybe she misjudged that and looked at the girl again and couldn't help but smile about the idea. "I already see you being a great hero for little kids whose cat ran away." She laughed, it was the kid that chased after the cat, the cat finding a way out by climbing in the tree and then being stuck. She wasn't exactly sure if those cats ever were stuck but it was nice to try and rescue them, as long as it went well and no scratches were applied. "Hm yea, I would say that's one of the reasons but also we can also learn a lot from other points of views and as you are the first batch of real students I would say we can learn a lot from what you guys put together by all your classes and meeting all other students. I think it's a different experience that I for example miss." She wasn't sure if other teachers agreed but this was up to her. She beckoned Chloe to come along as she quickly crossed the street after looking left and right. They would eventually hear a yell and she would look up, "It seems we are needed." That would mean they would have to speed up a little to try and indicate where the sound came from and follow that, to see if they could find someone in need of a pro-hero and her assistant.

Fancy us meeting like this~? ❝ “Heeheehee, you should~” Grinning happily when her teacher seemed to respond so positively about her comment about her youthful looks, though Miss Crawford was only too eager to add that the compliment was well deserved from her perspective she couldn’t help but feel her face burn a moment later as she realized it must sound like she was flirting with the beryl haired beauty, and felt momentarily flustered because of it. “Oh gosh, so you’ve been over here since you were my age, pretty much~?” Still rather intrigued to learn that Nimue had been here since she was a teenager and that establishing a greater feeling of kinship between them, though the girl with the green gaze already knew that the woman had come to the land as a foreigner she had not realized that they had their age in common or close to it in that regard, and it felt encouraging as well. Like she too could become such an impressive figure if she stuck at it. The tribe…? How fascinating… Only more enthralled when next her teacher gave a hint about the place she had come from as well, the teen was somewhat blindsided when she realized that an intelligent and intellectual figure came from such humble and rustic origins, and honestly felt a sense of romance at the image she had of where her senior might have emerged from. One which she likely inherited from her mother. “I think my mother would love to hear all about where you come from~? She’s an archaeologist but loves going to new cultures and finding all about them~?” The magnificent matriarch who had raised Chloe always seeming to have some fresh tale of adventure from distant lands, she honestly envied and at times tended to emulate that desire for discovery that saturated her maternal mentor and guessed from both the stories that her schoolteacher shared and her overall bearing they would likely get along, which seemed to further help the bubbly brit herself feel a little more at ease in her current company. “Heeheehee, your friendly neighbourhood cat saviour? Doesn’t sound like a bad place to start…?” Giggling at the joke that Nimue shared with her next and narrowing her eyes a little as she imagined herself as some epic pet rescuer, in all honesty the love that the lass had for animals made that sound almost like her perfect profession and a fine use for the license she would soon try to achieve, even without the emerald eyed enchantress exploring the full effects of the role she sought. “Ohhhhh, yes! Heheheheh, my first call, I can’t wait to see what it’s about…?” That seeming like something she was about to get some first-hand experience for, although Miss Crawford had wanted to comment on the talk about how their educators could learn something from the students themselves as they advanced, she found herself filled with giddy energy at the prospect of getting down to business proper and clapped her hands together as she followed after her fellow femme, eager to see what waited for her on her first patrol…

Nimue thought about it, "Yea, indeed. I left South Africa to find my family here." She swallowed, still not actually too happy to talk about it but she was going to try, she wasn't going to shut down and push the children away while the students had every reason to listen to her. What happened in the last year, it was a lot and she was surprised she was keeping up with it, what a change. She wasn't sure what to say about it to herself but luckily that was not necessary at this point and she would try to talk to Chloe some more and explain something about medical stuff. She did not want to hide stuff for any of her students and thus she would talk about it, she would explain the name for her quirk that she had brought from South Africa to Japan, which was also why the name stuck to something in her original language Xhosa. Thinking about languages always made her realize she still wasn't good at Italian. She could again not help but laugh a little about Chloe's enthusiasm. "Well you know where to find me." She was sure the tribe wouldn't be all too happy about it, too much focused on the old ways, they had a lot of backlashes before but that might also be her mother who was so focused on everything and saw everything in a negative light unless it surrounded CAl but Nimue wouldn't talk about that.
Again it surprised her so much how Chloe seemed to be so funny and bubbly when she did not see that in class, she smiled constantly and nodded, "Sounds like a very good job to do." Cat saviour and Chloe was right, building up the way of hero work and making yourself known even by doing such small things was something that you could consider doing. Nimue made no distinction between large and small crimes or in that matter stopping then but obviously, time was essential as you could not be at two places at the same time. They talked some more about U.A. but Nimue wasn't blind for what they were doing, paying attention to their surrounding and keeping her eyes and ears open. That was when the sound of distress hit them and she turned to Chloe to tell her that they were needed. She beckoned Chloe to walk a little faster as they in a faster pace than just walking made their way towards the sound and found a woman sitting in distress on the pavement and she was obviously crying and had a few scratches on arms and legs as if she had fallen down. Nimue quickly took her side and it was not noticeable by the woman but if Chloe paid close attention she could see that Nimue her normal amber eyes were now green and she offered her hand to the woman, the intention to quickly check on any infections or other internal issues for the woman.
"I am Witch Doctor," She said softly as the woman stared at her, maybe she was recognized or not, it was hard to tell with the shock on the woman's face. "I am here to help, tell me what happened." The woman started shaking and held on to Nimue now, "They kicked me out of the bus and took my baby." The f- Nimue swallowed her words, she would ask the woman what bus, where was it going as end destination and which colour line it was. They would need to be quick and she would look around to see if someone could watch over the woman for now, she would call the police while on her way to find the bus. They were going to need a vehicle for that... see this was another reason why she needed a car!

Fancy us meeting like this~? ❝ ’Witch Doctor’ huh? For some reason feeling a strange sense of surprise when Nimue referred to herself by the name which she had popularized, Miss Crawford couldn’t help but feel a strong sentiment of strangeness at the idea of introducing herself in a similar manner, and wasn’t wholly sure if she should interject right now or not. It’s pretty weird seeing that whole identity preservation thing in action? Perhaps this issue only compounded by what she was wearing and the feeling that any such announcement would feel like somewhat underwhelming given the fact she was currently running around in her gym kit, the bubbly brunette spent more than a second or two weighing up whether or not she should speak up on the matter, but even before she had the chance to raise her confidence enough to do so it seemed there were bigger matters to be dealing with right now. “They… They did what?” The emerald eyes of the enchantress widening as she mulled over what the woman had said and found herself stunned by it still, given the talk they had about rescuing cats from trees she had expected a rather more sedate ‘first step’ into active heroism, but it seemed that the world had a bigger plan in mind for the youngster than she thought. “They took your baby?” Long lashes flapping like the wings of a butterfly as she wrestled with the concept which had been raised to her and yet still couldn’t quite believe it, the british beauty could only repeat the words of the quivering figure in a manner which spoke of how confounded she was by the issue, and also perhaps how outraged she was by it as well. However, now was not the time for rage. “Gosh that’s… That’s just awful…! W-Who were they?!” Shaking her head to try and throw off the dazed feeling she had been given by that one horrendous statement and then taking a step forward to offer this stranger some comfort in what was probably a very trying time, in all honesty Chloe found herself fighting against the urge to throw her arms around this worried woman and squeeze her tightly to tell her that everything was going to be OK, and instead offered a tempered but sincere hand on her shoulder as she looked into her eyes. “Was it the people on the bus…?” The whole situation making absolutely no sense but that no fault of this frightened femme at all if the foreign fox had anything to say about it, the young heroine tried to ignore the cold feeling which made her stomach feel like it was full of ice as she offered as much warmth and understanding to the panicked parent as she could, trying to clarify the details so that they could solve this problem as quickly and efficiently as possible whilst also showing empathy and understanding to the terrible plight with which she had been afflicted…

Even after so many times and so many days, you would never really get used to saying your alias instead of your real name. Sometimes this brought hilarious reactions though such as with Hifumi but it was... it was what it was and it was strange none the less to say it. Witch Doctor. But that was her focus, protection, she would always work hard to try to keep her civilian and hero identity far away from each other. Either by make-up and the hiding of her hair but also by small mannerism. She managed to be a little braver and a little tougher when she donned her hero outfit and she would hopefully manage to do that for quite some time. Her main concern was calming this woman down, then she would in case Chloe did not yet, introduce her apprentice. However, even after so many days, some quests or issues were relatively weird and this made her baffled and look at the woman with her mouth slightly agape. "They-." They what? She was glad that at the same time Chloe asked the same, both of the hero team were so stunned by the accusation that they could not entirely comprehend what was told to them. She was kicked out and the baby was... oh wow. This wasn't her average day for sure. She shortly looked at Chloe before turning her attention to the woman.
The woman tried to explain when Chloe asked the questions and Nimue made sure to see if she was not too much hurt and would place her on a bench near one of the shops. She would call the police but they had to be quick and they needed a vehicle. The woman answered though, "Suddenly they took over the bus and I tried to object and they kicked me out." She was looking at Chloe, so desperately and that's when Nimue who stood a little aside and instructed them where they were and what to follow, she had given the time and indication of the bus so they would find the right license plate and so on. She stared at the carrier that was on the pavement as well. "Isn't your baby here?" She quickly picked it up, the baby was asleep, what a miracle, or was it maybe sick or hurt that it did not cry? She quickly checked but no fever, no anything and she was slightly baffled and well they should still go to find what happened with that bus but the baby was here save and sound. The woman came up from the bench but Nimue would bring the baby over and she would look a little happier until she lifted the sleeping thing out of the carrier. "This is not my baby." RealLY!? Could today become even more complex and she looked at Chloe and muttered a silent apology. "Right, well, police is coming, please stay here, we will go after the bus and get you- well your baby." It was something for sure, this belonged into the movies or something. Police was there in seconds and Nimue took over the car they had, "Come one, White Wind. We have a rescue to prepare." In their car ride they could discuss better what to do, but Nimue herself had still a lot of questions unanswered.

Fancy us meeting like this~? ❝ Thank goodness! The heart of the would be heroine leaping into the air as she locked her eyes upon the bench that Nimue indicated, for a moment the terror of the situation was washed away by a tremendous sense of relief as it seemed that everything had been solved in a quick and tidy fashion, and Miss Crawford was glad to see that. At least for a second or two. It’s not…? That sense of elation only making it that much harder to bear when the next shock hit her and it seemed that the child they had found was not the one they had been looking for, the brunette could only blink as she tried to process this new detail and how it seemed to only add to the complications of the crisis they were in, and found herself driving the tips of her nails into her palm as she tried to make some semblance of sense of the scene. “Gosh, I know it’s difficult but are you sure there isn’t anything else you can tell us about the people who did this?” Thankfully the police not seeming far away and that allowing the teen and her teacher to get right onto the matter in a speedy fashion, whilst she knew that every second they could make was vital Chloe couldn’t help but linger for a moment, and ask some questions she remembered from classes she had been through previously. “What they looked like? How many there were? The bus number you were on? Anything that can help us find your baby faster?” This her first time in the field and what a day to choose as well, the girl with the green gaze tried to remain clear headed and composed as she begged the poor mother for something that might have helped them further, guessing that any little morsel of information that she could hand over would be worth its weight a hundred times over in gold given the problem they faced. “Y-Yes sensei…” Their mentor seeming to have a strong urgency to move on however and as soon as the patrol car arrived seeming to commandeer it for their own purpose, though Miss Crawford could well understand the haste with which Nimue wished to act she couldn’t help but feel bad to just rush away from this scared woman so suddenly, and as such found herself lingering next to the door for a second or two as she hesitated to follow her teacher. “I know you’re scared, but don’t worry. The Number One Hero is on this!” Unsure exactly of what exactly she could do or say to take the panic away from this scared stranger but hoping that the knowledge that there was no safer set of hands in Tokyo to handle the matter than those of the woman ranked at the top of all quirkers right now, the sylph tried her best to smile and bowed forward a little as well to seek forgiveness for their speedy getaway, before slipping into the car next to her teacher with rather a weight suddenly hanging from her heart. “Gosh, this is getting crazier and crazier, isn’t it?” The whole day seeming to have changed on a dime from something which has been light and informative and into a whole mess of dreadful by the actions of some idiots on a bus, once they were underway Chloe couldn’t help but shake her head and lifted her fingers to her eyes to wipe them as she felt them sting, suddenly overwhelmed by emotion now that she had less of a reason to hold her feelings back. “Now we have a mother without a baby, and a baby without a mother?” Not losing her focus on the situation at all however and even as she brushed away little crystalline beads from the corners of her eyes trying to figure out exactly what was happening here, while the obvious answer was that whomever was responsible for this rash act had handed off the wrong child in the rush they had to make off with the bus the brunette couldn’t help but feel suspicious of everything, and wondered what the woman in charge of the situation was making of it because of that…

So many things were tumbling through her head and she had no time to actually ask them, she had to get to that bus and get that baby, especially when this was not the baby. The reason why Nimue did not linger too much on the wallowing woman was that nothing seemed to reach her. There was something to be done and she let the police officer fix it here if they were going to fight this issue, quirks and all. She had no idea if that would be necessary and if this should not be normal police work but well he two of them were basically on it so why not, try it. She had to wait for Chloe, sure it was very nice and promising Chloe was so sweet, definitely no bad words from Nimue about that one, but hurry as time was of essence as well and the question was how much this would work. There was not much more information Chloe did win from the woman. She did not know the license plate, she only knew where the bus was going and the general number of the line, which was a start but how often did that bus go and how many of them were now in their way. She only said it were a man and a woman and she did not remember how they looked. Nimue did not look entirely satisfied, it was like trying to find a needle in a haystack. However, the pro-hero had just told her apprentice that she would take whatever job there was and would try and fix it, which was exactly what she was going to do now.
She could not hide her blush (thank god her red markings did) when Chloe made a sort of promise. Thank the heavens she did not really say I promise, that would make matters worse. Empty promises were never really helpful. Nimue said nothing though as they were now moving into that vehicle and she would wait for Chloe to sit and be seated with the seatbelt before driving off. Could this thing not go faster? She felt strange as if this was the most important thing in her life, it was about a baby after all. She did not know about her future and babies and it made her insecure and unsure. If this was the world they lived in who wanted babies?
"It is the craziest for sure." she muttered, trying to get out of her loop of thoughts to be able to talk to Chloe. "Police is trying to figure out at what time that bus must have past there to figure out the bus, thanks to the system with the planning of the bus drivers. It's a mess, we know the end of the bus route so that is something to follow." But she wondered if you were a criminal you would not go there, maybe not even follow the route, or maybe right up until the end, too many questions and no answers. "Indeed." Why talk so short, it was not that she wanted to shut out Chloe, but she was focused on driving, mixing and merging into traffic while not having sirens on. Her eyes open, "We should check every bus we pass right now or you have to, I need to check traffic, I don't think they would be here but you never know. It should not take too long for the police to inform us, if they do, they will radio us and you have to pick up, it's quite easy when it happens I will tell you what to do." But this was by far her craziest adventure. Shortly her eyes turned to Chloe as she noticed a motion that she couldn't place, a motion in the corner of her eye. Was Chloe wiping away her tears? "We will find a solution for this and bring both kids back to the right parent, alright?" That was the best she could say, she would not know how long this took nor did she have the slightest idea what would happen but she had a lot of questions and she would only find answers when reaching their destination and their goal.
