Yumi chuckled a little as the woman beside her took her comment about the potentially 'magical' properties of her chocolate and shook her head. "I dunno, I mean, if you had chocolate that kept people young, so long as you made it pricey enough I'm sure you'd still be able to tell who comes to you for that and who comes to you for your normal work. It'd probably be interesting to tell the difference too I'd imagine." She gave a casual shrug, continuing to walk along on patrol. Her brow raised a bit at the comment with her and Asta, chuckling. "I mean... I guess? But at the same time I think I'd be oddly flattered? I try hard to make sure Asta has a good name, it'd kinda show me I'm doing my job well ya know? It'd be more flattering if it was just me, sure, but it'd still be weirdly flattering either way to some extent."
Speaking of Asta, Yumi smiled extra proudly when she displayed her cover photo, definitely enjoying the fact that the other woman gave her some compliments on it to boot. "Hehhehe, thanks. I've been working hard on trying to come off more mature when the shoot calls for it and... well, more youthful when it calls for that. It's a little hard to balance at times but I think I'm slowly getting better, and Asta leads to me having a lot of other great models to work with. I think they try and worm out those bitchy, self-centered types cause all the ones I've worked with are so warm and helpful.~" She nodded at the comment of the photographer too. "Of course! He was a great guy to work with and he did some fantastic shots. I'd say you should pick up an issue but I'm not that big a company shill." She teased, sticking her tongue out playfully.
On the topic of how things worked between Japan and what her day's mentor had experienced abroad, she supposed Japan might be the odd one out- "I mean, quirks have been getting stronger over the years, people growing more experienced with them or just having stronger ones to start... I don't doubt a hardened swat team can deal with the average criminal but... I see it like this. The strongest villain can potentially fight the strongest heroes to a standstill and... with heroes like Witch Doctor and Redhorn... I dunno. Trained squad or not I don't see someone quirkless taking down either of those two if they really went all out. To think other countries don't have heroes backing them up is kind of worrying if like, a Thunder scale criminal shows up. I don't wanna dismiss the police but... well to use an 'end game' analogy, a city could have every one of it's citizens trained with guns... but all it takes is one Nuke to wipe them out."
She thought for a moment, and added. "Plus... we're trained to go up against people who don't have quirks too. If anything moreso cause the average criminal still dosn't have quirks so... we know how to take them out just as well as villains. Turn a team of us on a swat team and I ain't liking their odds..."
