Silent observation was often the easiest way to record data. There was no distraction from what was being displayed or revealed, and it allowed the note taker to jot down their observations and hypothesizes. The girl spoke up against what the program was actively doing. It wasn't like the human body's full anatomy and how it functioned wasn't posted online for easily accessible information. You could look up pressure points, areas to easily strike vital organs. What did quirks make any different other than understanding the basic science? It wasn't like they were going to showcase weaknesses of heroes. It was hardly a liability, and steering panic would be a problem in its own right. She contributed to a program she didn't believe in, and outwardly expressed she was going to be a competitor now? Maybe she didn't understand what she was saying, kasey would have to give her the benefit of the doubt.

She would note the hearing aids that the girl wore, which did explain a bit in their own way. But to see the ruptured drums without a device would be both unsanitary and hard to see regardless. She wasn't about to lean in close to the girl with proper equipment. Growing up without eardrums because of wings was a strange development. One Kasey took note of. It didn't quite make sense, but perhaps there was something that could explain it. If hearing was an issue with other bird like, or winged quirks, perhaps it would be something to invest in.

". . . a wing boner?" she questioned the wording. It didn't quite work like that. That being said, it did mean the girl was aware of her sexuality, that much was good, right? "Well, unless you want to sit down for an examination on stimulation, which probably won't be fun, I can't say for sure." Wing boner? Who the hell came up with that? Kids. They always say the darndest things. "Best I can surmise is that it's your mind acting instinctively. You find someone you like, you spring out your wings. I would compare it to a form of peacocking. A way to get whoever you're interested in, to notice you." A strange thing to discuss, and not that rare, but still an issue. Some quirks did make people more animalistic, and some primal. All things they would have to live with, and correct on their own.

There was no record of a bird forcefully or any similar action as a direct result of stimulation. It was usually a result of attraction to another, or a display of being territorial. Any real connection that could be tied to that idea that it was because of her feelings seemed rather strange and false, almost as if she wanted to push her own truth with it. She couldn't change her mind if that was how she saw herself. She asked a question, and Kasey would give her the best possible explanation.

"Well, if that was the case, then it's personality, and not really anything to do with arousal. So perhaps Wing boner isn't accurate in the method, nor reason." She would try once more to explain the truth behind it, at least to a degree. Again, the only way to really know for sure was a more in depth exam, and it was not one she was going to be happy about, Angel, that was.

"No need, I'm already paid to be here to help you." she would try to tell her, but it seemed to be lost on her ears. "If you want to return for a follow up, I can arrange that, and we can take more information from that time for your records." She would say, bowing in reply to the young hero.

"As much as I would love to go out to eat, my lunch isn't for a few hours, and I can't exactly just leave the desk." Hopefully she would understand that. But who was to say what plan she would come with. She didn't see an issue giving out her business line to patients. Her client list grew every day, and less and less seemed to have issues as research continued.

Even despite it all, it was a successful day.
