...The air was tense. Mosa was standing at his booth inside the church he had spent most of his adult life keeping safe. Inside, there were other people, nervously shaking on the benches in front of him. They were clearly hoping for some encouraging words. There was nothing else in the air, but the echo of the wind and the candles flickering. Well, That's what Mosa would have atleast liked to believe. In actuality, he could hear the groans outside and the hands scraping against the locked doors... He was looking through his bible for anything encouraging to say, to keep the people calm. The church was a sturdy building, almost twice as strong as it's predecessor. They hopefully didn't need to fear.
How had it come to this? Well, after Mosa had taken Kasumi to her friends house, he had gotten a call, that they still needed to do the evening sermon. It was the main one he usually took care of as of late, with his days usually spent at the school with the students. During said Sermon, he had gotten a message. However, usually he didn't need to check them immediately, so he had ignored it. But once the Sermon was over, he had rung the bells. And while trying to clean the place up a little before leaving, people suddenly had ran back inside shouting 'MONSTERS! MONSTERS OUTSIDE!' Mosa had to sacrifice a couple of chandeliers to launch them at the first zombies, crushing their heads, so he could close and lock the doors... as a pacifist, he felt really uncomfortable doing it, especially with his assumptions where they had come from...
Once he had finally checked the message on his phone and sent the request for help, anybody could believe it was a little bit too late.
The church was pretty much surrounded. Drawn to the noise of the bells ringing, the monsters now knew, that there were people inside. The whole building was pretty much surrounded by zombie mooks, with more zombies rising up from the graveyard from the back, making the pile larger, as they leaned against the building. The more disturbing thing was, that some of the zombies had their quirks still in a usable state. A man with metallic body hair, with an axe like mohawk across his head was trying to split the door in half at one of the sides, with furious headbutts. The creature was surprisingly bloated for how long it had probably been in the ground. On the other side, there was a woman with humongous claws, trying to tear through the door, so it could get a grip on the door to rip it open themselves. The duo had been a pair of refuges from ages ago, turned vigilante, but despite it, surprisingly devout in spirit. And their muscle memory was still clearly as good as back then. The one grave that hadn't yet opened, was clearly the biggest one. The person there was very important to the churches memory in itself.
But Mosa didn't have time to think about it. He had a room full of people that demanded his attention. People scared to even move. And in times like those, there always had to be some figure who stood up, and left them with a message to follow. Usually they were heroes, but in times like this, even a civilian needed to rise up and prove what he could do. "Don't worry. This is not some sort of prophecy fulfilled. This is not the book of revelations come to life. And this is definitely not the end of the world." He closed his bible, as he stepped down from the booth. "In times like these, we need to remember what sort of age we live in. We all have powers to defend ourselves with. Powers that no matter the source, be it god or biology, have been entrusted for us to use for the good of the people."
He started removing his gloves revealing the same colored orbs under them. "Of course, god has given us patience, to help us avoid their abuse. But times like these were made for us to use them, and help our fellow man." He looked at the doors... "For as long as you are in my church, I promise I will keep you safe. No matter my philosophies. As long as I and this church stand... None of you will be hurt."
And like on cue the loud sound of exploding wood sounded, as the doors on both sides of the build were pierced by the weapons of the bigger zombies. "Time, and god, are on your side." He put his faith in the hands of the heroes coming to save them. However, he would stay with the people, and try to do his best to do the same thing himself, whatever the situation maybe. As long as they were in his church, they were his responsibility. He could only hope that Kenji and Kasumi were safer than he was.

Niji was happy. For the first time in a long time. She would get to spend time with her boyfriend and her father in New York. This was her first time going and she get to share the expierience with someone she cared for. Her and Desmoshi had been really busy lately. Taking on projects, schoolwork, etc. But now she would have time with Desmoshi with now interruptions. Or she hoped. Niji was on her way to the airport, getting ready to meet her boyfriend in New York when she got the call. People were trapped in the church, surrounded by zombies, and the school wanted her to respond to the situation with some others. "But what about the trip, Lady Uta?" Jeeves asked as the driver turned around. "It can't be helped Jeeves. People need help," Niji responded. “Desmoshi will understand.” She hadn’t been paying attention to the news; she was so focused on preparing for the trip, she hadn’t noticed anything different, even on the drive to the airport due to taking another route. Niji turned to her driver. “Take me to the corner of the street of this location,” she said showing her phone to the driver. Within a few minutes, they were parked a couple of blocks from the zombies. “Go home, Jeeves,” Niji said, taking a yellow metal ball out of her purse. “Lock the doors and stay safe. If you can’t make it home, head to UA.” The butler nodded, knowing that arguing would serve no purpose. As the group drove off, Niji turned her attention to the zombies surrounding the church. This was ironic. The denizens of the undead surrounding a holy place. But no time for irony She had a job to do. She checked to make sure no one else was around. “I need to wait for the others to get here,” Niji said, her Rainbow core opening up. "But its best I go ahead and get ready." In a song like voice, she sang, “Kiiro no uta,” dropping the yellow ball. Niji slapped the core shut, the heart in the center turning yellow, sending the signals to the nanobots in her body. Niji’s transformation took place, her quirk going to work, the nanobots cladding her in yellow armor. Yellow gauntlets and greaves were placed on her arms and feet as a long scarf wrapped around her neck. Her headphones clasped onto her head, displaying “ALL SYSTEMS GREEN” on the hologram screen and a yellow visor covering her eyes. Symphony was battle-ready. But she had to wait for the others and see how they wanted to approach the front door. She sent out her location to the school and her teammates, standing by for further instructions.

◄ AND THE DEAD WILL FUCKING RISE | WC: 626
Kaguya Adachi was having a rather decent day, at least as decent as the student could manage. She managed to get in a conversation with her mother that actually seemed somewhat happy; while it didn't last long, simply seeing her smile was a rare sight these days. Unfortunately she didn't get a glimpse of her dad, but some days she really didn't even want to. And today wasn't "constantly relive tragic past" day. Today was "Buy more updated editions of the latest Bat-Dude comic". She was strolling down the streets at a slow pace while looking at her phone, browsing through the news while chewing bubblegum and then-bam. People were trapped in a building, surrounded by villains. Normal occurrence. The people inside were requesting for help from heroes outside the building to try and rescue them. Normal occurrence. Heroes would receive the message on their phones from the police or the people. Normal occurrence. KAGUYA GOT THE MESSAGE." WHAT THE FUCK." She nearly choked on her bubblegum, and she was quite lucky that her phone was sturdy, because she dropped it dead on the pavement, still staring at the words as if they had spelt out her death sentence. Kaguya couldn't think. Kaguya couldn't imagine what was happening was even happening. A passerby looked at the young girl and started asking her if she was okay, if she was having a heart attack, if she needed medical attention. Kaguya said yes so quietly her brain didn't register it. Her brain was going way. Too. Fucking. FAST. She needed to calm down, to think. This was it...she was going to be the hero she never wanted to be. The last time she was slow to act, her dad nearly died. On the spot. She could have saved him, maybe her life would be better, maybe she would've never gone to Yuuei at all, maybe this, maybe that, maybe she should stop talking and get going. Because it was time to save people, and she was going to be their savior. So Kaguya spurred into action like her life depended on it. Because it might as well have. " LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Turning the surfaces that she was walking to into ice so that she could slide on it to gain momentum. Increased her speed by a bunch, especially overtime. Kaguya was having difficulties, though; she'd never tried actively skating towards a location, on the fly, while trying not to die from panic, nervousness, and ADD, all at once. Ultimately, it made her only marginally faster, and she just used her bicycle instead and peddled like her life depended on it. Somebody had already gotten there and..." Wow." How did people do that as students? Was this seriously a person in the same school has her?! In the same age bracket?! She looked like a fully-fledged superhero. Someone not out of place in a Spider-dude comic-book. Awaiting further instructions, ready to fight. And then in came Kaguya, sweating like crazy, looking like a terrified child, on a cute bicycle. She felt like burying her head into the ground. Thankfully, the voice in her head told her this wasn't the time to be embarrassed. " Hi! I'm Kaguya! I have the power to transform any material I touch into a similar material. I can sort of hold my own in a hand-to-hand scenario!" The student was reading from a note in her pocket that she had "just for emergencies", because she'd fumble over the details due to panic if she tried it offhand. " A-assuming that the mobs of enemies happen to not be 'organic', I might be able to dissolve them fairly quickly, although I don't know, my powers are pretty...weird, h-ha-ha!" She had no idea what the fuck she should be saying.

Yang
Yang was running her typical course. Listening to music on her phone. She was ever grateful that Myrkul got her a phone but why now? He was super against having anything that can be tracked. Unless he was the one tracking her. Either way she would ask him in person when she saw him. However she needed this run. She needed to rethink the past couple of days. Everything has been surreal.
The prison break was stressful but it was something that needed to happen. To explain it needed to happen because this is when Yang finally realized her feelings for Mizuki. It was also the event where she learned she had better control of her quirk then expected. She has been without the quirk regulators for some time now and as long as she doesn't get super emotional she was fine. Of course there was some very emotional days since the riot.
Yang had participated in a meditation group that probably wasn't her smartest idea. Red did not relent in the mental realm and the only thing that saved them that day was Mizuki and her spare quirk regulators. Then of course the birthday event. The day they kissed. Er well Mizuki kissed her. She wasn't sure how to feel or what to feel. But she remembered the blood literally rushing to her head and things got fuzzy after the fact. However the most hasn't quite come yet. The most was when Mizuki said she wanted to come home with Yang but also wanted to clarify their relationship. That was a fun night.
She sighed and turned up the music as she kept pushing herself on the track she set. Before she realized it an emergency notification went off on her phone. It had disturbed her music and she almost lost her balance as she came to a stop to figure out how to stop it. However when she looked down at her phone, she saw it. The notification stated that a group of civilians were trapped in a church. There were zombies.
Yang blinked and reread that message. Zombies? There were actual zombies in this day in age? Or was something like zombies created by someone's quirk? Either way they need to be stopped because it was fairly obvious that they weren't friendly. But who would have known that Yang would be going to church out of all places. It must be an emergency. Luckily she ran with her weapons. It was better for her to be prepared and so far no one has really said anything to her about them.
She sighed knowing her appearance would be disheveled but would they really care at this point? It was about saving people. This has become a typical occurrence since Yang has joined the school. Luckily the text message also included a location of the church. All Yang had to do was plug it into her phone and it would tell her how to get there. She was fast but not fast enough. A couple of other student heroes where already over in the location. One of which she recognized, Niji and from the look of things she was already for this hell. The other person was Kaguya who seemed like the cheery type like Niji. The could become great friends possibly after this event. If they survive this event.
Yang didn't realize exactly how bad it was until she really got a good look at the situation. It really was zombies and there seemed to be two of them that were probably the leaders. Her face fell momentarily but luckily she didn't recognize any of the zombies thus far. Either way the only one that had a body to be a zombie was her little sister. That thought made her shudder. Yang could only hope as she approached the other two that she would not see her sister's corpse. She waved at the two and hopefully others will come. A game plan needed to be set for this kind of event. Hopefully one of them will be able to come up with one.

Luka was, by this point in his life, quite used to things going to hell. It was such events that had lead him to U.A. after all, and he'd resigned himself to them. So it was that the explosive problems of the current day hadn't really done more to surprise him than the time it took for the small teen to go 'huh' and get to work. Of course, shortly after he had started heading towards the initial location assigned to him in the newest of problems to crop up, an overriding high priority message found its way onto his phone. Blinking slightly, he glanced down at the new orders, eyebrows raising slightly. "Verdammt" he muttered, changing directions and leaping upwards onto the rooftops where he began running and leaping over obstacles to take the shortest, and fastest, route to the new situation. Mr Mosa was in trouble and almost everyone able to respond to his request in a reasonable timeframe were relatively inexperienced. Luka was going to have to do his best to support the students of U.A. in what could be for some of them their very first live combat scenario. That was a lot of pressure. Still, he would do what he had to. Tendrils of slime shot out from his hands to latch on to nearby points as he swung over high gaps, his feet and hands sticking slightly to ensure that he didn't fall, and his body moving as efficiently as possible in order to get from point a to point b. One final swing had him come up on the location after a run that was both terribly short and terrifyingly long, the blue haired youth swinging around the corner nearly parallel with the ground as he bled speed for a more stable landing, his feet making no noise as he touched down behind the gathering group of U.A. students. Coat floating behind him as he strode forward, Luka brought the armband of the Disciplinary Comittee up onto his left arm, knowing that it was fairly unlikely for the First Years here to recognise him and not wanting to have to explain should the situation be dire. Despite his concern, he kept a calm and confident expression on his face, walking forward silently to the others. Luka shortly came to a stop alongside the other students, the small male glancing out over at the church that held the people they needed to save. The fact there were honest to gods zombies attacking a church might have had him burst out laughing had the situation not been so serious. It was almost too cliche really, the staple of hundreds of low grade movies and video games, and several high grade ones as well. A zombie horde clamouring for the flesh of the innocent. Still, it was not time for him to nerd out, he had to be a proper role model for his juniors after all. "Well, this sure is a dilly of a pickle," he mused out loud, not sure if any of the others had noticed him practically sneak up on them, and honestly unable to resist the urge to possibly startle them, "but I don't think that a few walking corpses will cause us any problems, ne?" He grinned confidently at this statement, but in reality he could feel a heavy weight in his abdomen. He had no idea how strong these things were, how strong the younger students were, and how likely it would be that they would be outmatched. But he couldn't let that feeling show otherwise it might negatively effect the confidence of the others. "Anything I should know that isn't immediately obvious?" he asked, turning to look at the three girls, even as his phone came out in his other hand, his fingers blindly tapping out a message. Hopefully they would respond well to his attitude, because he wasn't sure he'd be able to keep everyone safe if he was forced to justify every little suggestion or heaven forbid, instruction. They were U.A. students, and they had become his responsibility as soon as he had arrived. Whether they appreciated that or not. He wondered absently whether this was how the teachers felt whenever someone got into trouble... he almost pitied them for his Year Mates almost constant drama. Almost... the teachers had given him enough grief over three years for some level of schadenfreude to slip through. On his phone, a short message was sent out to Mr Mosa, very brief and succinct. <Backup here. 3rd Year: Genesis, 2nd Year, 2 First. Sitrep request. Non-com count?> Hopefully the man would see it, understand it, and respond. If not, Luka was going to have to get creative. He knew that there were a couple of others that received the request, but he couldn't stand around and wait with the zombies at the gate of the church, there would need to be movement soon or it could get much worse.

Post by Cyril Donadieu on Aug 13, 2020 4:45:06 GMT -4
Cyril had recently closed up his clinic due to the news that he had heard both online and on the television. Apparently the entire city was being overrun with zombies. The mere idea of corpses coming back to life made the young doctor in training think that this had something to do with a quirk. There was no way a man like him would fall onto the poor notion that this was some sort of mythical or typically boring scenario seen in all those horror movies that seem to keep being made. Instead he headed to where he assumed would get hit the most. Avoiding main streets he would of arrived at several different locations, each having their own make-shit unit fighting or defending. Annoyed at the conclusion that this city seemed to be more prepared than he thought, Cyril would of roamed around until he came across a hoard moving.
The scientist and researcher was interested in one thing and one thing above all else. The understanding of quirks. So if this mass production and control of zombies was the result of a quirk, or even better a group of like minded quirkers Cyril would want to get to the bottom of it. He encountered a few on his own but with his fighting ability he was learning from Julen the slow moving mindless attackers were nothing he could not handle. The aforementioned hoard however he followed until they came upon a church. Moving with a hungry frenzy, Cyril realized that this much would be too much for him to handle a lone and would pause to come up with a better idea. Their target seemed to be a church. Although never thinking of going, the young man would recognize the windows and shape of the building anywhere. There was a high chance that the zombies knew that there would be someone or some inside.
The place also to Cyril's knowledge doubled as an orphanage which triggered Cyril deep down. He had to help, there was no ifs ands or buts. Despite the resting idea that the children in there would be the quirk users of tomorrow and hopefully they would allow him to do experiments on them to further his own research. That was why they would have to be saved right here, right now. Peeking from the alleyway of two buildings not too far off, Cyril would begin to wonder how he could attract a manageable amount of attention before some more kids started to show up. Not kids, young heroes. It seemed like whoever was in the church would be free, as their very lives were left into the small hands of uhh students? From this distance Cyril could barely make out the hair color but he would assumed from their lengths it was a sort of all female team.
Rather than have a run in with these heroes to be, Cyril figured it would be better to hide and sneak closer to the Church, hopefully finding either a side entrance, or even getting close enough go jump through a window. Picking up a nearby trash can and making a mental note to come back and pick up what it contained, Cyril would of threw the garbage can over his head and got down to a crawl. He would slowly make his way towards the church building, using what he remembered from looking just now as well as his own personal recollection to maneuver himself past the zombies.

For now, it seemed like the students were taking a semi careful approach. Diving straight into this big pile of zombies would definitely not be the smartest move without some kind of plan. However, with some of the creatures slowly breaking through the doors, there was not much time for such things. They would need to come up with some sort of way of action quickly.
Meanwhile Cyril would find himself at the entrance, where the more chinese looking lady was pounding the doors like some sort of mole, trying to dig through. Sadly, he would notice, that the windows were just too high to outright jump through. Maybe a blessing in this case, since the zombies could othervise just climb in themselves through the fragile glass. But it looked like for now atleast, Cyril wasn't recognized by the more stupid crowd, though he would find himself quickly surrounded by other zombies. He might be in quite big trouble, if somebody would notice his lack of zombieness.
However, Luka was able to send a message to Mosa. The slight ringing made him act swiftly as he read it... "Don't cheer yet. But they are here..." If they made too loud noises, the zombies might be whipped into a frenzy, but the people themselves seemed to be smiling. Even the slightest good news at this point was great for the morale. His fingers started dancing on the phone. It was slightly hard with his magnetic hands, but hopefully he got the main point across: "5 and me. Civilians. 1 child. No quirk knowledge. Surrounded from all sides. Two folks seem scarily competent... doors almost broken." Sadly, Mosa could understand why they would rely on hero students. But as a situation this was scary for even adults. "Recommended approach, get in and out. Do not fight for too long. Prioritize church. Avoid graveyard!" With the pace these zombies were coming, it was clear something was happening there, but it was too unsafe for students.
Meanwhile, the humongous man ripped it's metallic hairs from the door. "CAn OpeN SOON!" This one was clearly hungrier than the others... however, when he wound up his head for another smashing blow, the creatures eyes noticed something in the distance. A glitter of armor forming, and the excited sounds of people! "No CAN NeeeeeedEd! PEOPLE THEEEEEER!" With that sound, the man started charging like a two footed rhino towards them, almost like his feet couldn't keep up with his head! His mohawk grew humongous, into something akin to a claymore! Some of his regular zombie friends followed, almost with similar excitement, while some were left scratching at the door! The man was clearly ready to try to cleave anybody who approached him in melee, And even punch them! Seemed like this creature was into his meat tenderized and sliced!
The other door however was soon crashed into pieces, as Mosa dropped his phone. Luckily, he had gotten his message sent, but now, this lady, dragging her arms on her sides was staring towards him. "Mosa... Mosa... I so... I so wanted to... thank you...!" The child screamed, hugging her father tightly! The zombies at the front door got more ravenous, scratching door even worse for wear! "Maybe... I save... You... FOR LAaaaast?!" She pulled her arm back, as her legs zipped forward insanely quickly, aiming to slam her metallic sharp nails on top of the child! Only to come to a surprising stop, as she felt a pull on her arm! "Whaaaa...?" Mosas other hand pulled her to him, threw her into the air, and then, using his other arm launched her back towards the door into the zombie crowd trying to walk in, falling like dominoes! The lady lifted herself up stomach first, her spine making noises. "...You... are not... Kind anymore...?" "...we all have to get out of our comfort zone some time..." He grunted. He could maybe keep up with one person, and keep out the rest of them by swinging her at them but he would be overwhelmed eventually if too many came to him.
And on top of it all... Cyril could see another bigger one rising. This time, a man whose eyes he could barely see. A wooden skeletal frame, toes like roots, and formerly plant like look, now almost mossy in nature. The 2 meter and 30 centimeter tall giant started looked around confusedly, before reaching to join the crowd Cyril was in.

Niji turned to see who had the question as the crew for the rescue had finally gathered. It was the third year Luka Von Eisenberg. Desmoshi had shown replays of Luka's performance of the Exhibition Festival to her on a couple of occasions. Whoo. That made Niji feel it a little bit better. She had no plan or idea of attack for this and the more, the better.
"Hello, Symphony's the hero name. I am glad that you are here. Well to make a long story short," Niji said pointing at the building, "there are people trapped in the church building along with Ganbaroshi-sensei. It seems to be completely surrounded by... zombies?" It still felt weird to say. These types of things only happened in movies. But then again they were superpower teens with strange abilities doing missions that normal kids couldn't do. So... yeah.
"We are trying to come up with a game plan to get the people out. As far as using your powers on them Kayuga, we don't know what abilities or immunities they possess to stop it. Maybe we should-" Before Niji could finish, she saw something silver glittering in the distance. "And now there is a trashcan walking to the door?" It had to be the heat. Yeah, it was the heat. Or the stress of the situation.
But the shaking of the ground took Niji's attention away from the trashcan as one of the larger zombies came charging straight forward. His mohawk sharpened like a sword and his buddies followed close behind them. Crap. The light of her transformation must have attracted them. To add insult to injury, the sound of cracking wood could be heard from across the way. The door to the church was coming down. "We need to clear the zombies away before they go in. That door won't hold long." Niji looked over to the third year. "Any ideas?", she asked Luka, getting into a fighting stance.

Luka's attention was split between the zombies and the girl who responded to him, glancing at the self-proclaimed Symphony for a moment before his attention was drawn first to the moving trashcan, and then his phone. Eyeing the can briefly, he looked down at the phone and frowned slightly. "Five civilians and Mr Mosa, one a child..." he mused. He was about to ask the other students what they were capable of when the situation changed dramatically and for the worse.
A crash, a scream, and the thundering footsteps of a large zombie had Luka's head shoot up, the blue haired boy already extending blue gel from his back, the thick ribbons of slime shooting forward rapidly in a triangular shape, almost resembling the cow catcher on the front of old steam engines. His intention was fairly simple, he would try to push the zombies aside and clear the way for the younger students to get to the civlians where they would be able to help. His first target was the heavy mohawk clad creature, the swift slime trying to flick him far enough away that he wouldn't be too much of a threat to the other students when they moved. He wasn't sure how strong the zombie was, but hopefully it was enough to clear the way.
If things worked as intended, his tentacles of slime would wrap around the zombie woman threatening the civilians within, hopefully trapping her long enough for the rescue effort to be put forward. "Go, be quick and I will cover you. Get them out of here and quickly!" He instructed, golden eyes assessing the situation as best he could. Grimacing slightly, another set of slime ribbons emerged from his back, they would travel alongside the other U.A. students and provide cover as best as he was able. This was going to be messy, but they absolutely did not have the luxury of time. If the church door had held a bit longer, or the zombies been a little less in number, perhaps Luka could have gone about this a different way, a more intelligent way, but for now he was just going to have to brute force it or risk casualties that he was unwilling to accept.
"Don't kill any of the enemies, they may not actually be undead" he added feeling the strain of doing a bit too much too quickly. Still, right now he had to act, or innocents could be killed.
He wouldn't let that happen.

◄ Playing the hero | WC: 438
Alright...something to do. Something to focus on. The young student was already feeling severely outclassed, but-fuck it-she had to do her job, right? No way she was going to fight those zombies, although she really would love to get a photograph of one of them...THE CAMERA. Kaguya knew that she'd forgotten something. She was supposed to be a journalist for pete's sakes! Well, her phone would have to do for now, as terrible as it was. All she needed as a picture of the zombies. But how would she get that without potentially endangering the others? Without endangering herself? Journalism was fucking hard, but the girl decided that she'd figure that one out later. For now, though, one of the actual heroes said that they needed to get the civilians out of the building...and draw the zombies to them. See, as it happened, Kaguya was a surprisingly smart person, and was also, by hero standards, a coward. She was fairly confident she wouldn't be able to even fight the zombies-they could be alive so no turning them to ash-and they were bashing through those doors. Granted, however, maybe with a LOT of help from everyone else, they could run away. Besides...she didn't know the others quirks. The entrance to the church was blocked, but who said she couldn't make more? " Prepare to be saved by M-Miss Midas!" cheered the girl with an incredible amount of (obviously) false confidence as she sprinted up towards a wall, and put her flat palm on it. A few seconds passed.... And a segment of the wall, about the size of two doors, turned to talc, the softest rock in the world! It was right and somewhat greasy to the touch, but easy to crush nevertheless. HWith the wall softened and it's structural integrity screwed to the high heavens, she gave a pretty strong kick to the wall of talc, attempting to bust a hole in the church for the people to escape through. Sure, the zombies would pretty get wind of this hole, but it had a bunch of hero students swarming it, and they seemed intent on avoiding them. With a makeshift entrance into the church (hopefully) formed that was not yet crawling with zombies, she waved her arms frantically at the church residents, guessing that yelling 'THIS WAY!' would draw the attention of the ghouls' easier. Would this work? No, Kaguya was also pretty sure her plan had holes in it. But at least...they could rescue the civilians now. That-that was something. Her dad probably would have kicked ass way harder than this, but one had to start somewhere right?

TL;DR:
- Kaguya turns a portion of the wall into talc so that she can kick it down.
- She motions for the people trapped inside to get out.

Yang / Red The possibility of these zombies actually being zombies in this day in age seems crazy. But the quirk could have created them by reanimating dead bodies or a disease like quirk taking perfectly healthy humans and turning them into zombie like creatures. It was a tough call figuring out which scenario it could be. They honestly didn’t have the time to figure it out. A horde of zombies being lead and organized to attack this small church. What could they do? They were mindless zombies but since they were being lead it was harder to distract them with cheap tricks.
Yang was deep in thought when Luca had approached. It wasn’t until he asked if there needed to be something he needed to know. She recognized Luca from an internship that they are currently participating in but she wasn’t sure if they ever worked together. In fact now that Yang really thought about it, she hasn’t really interacted with anyone that is here except maybe Niji. But she hasn’t really spent that much time with Niji unless she was Desmoshi and Mizuki. She sighed and pulled out her phone and started to text.
While texting Niji was informing the group of what was going on. Yang had paused momentarily when she heard about a trash can but continued to look down at her phone. She was setting it up where it would speak for her. However everything changed in an instant. A little girl screamed which caused Yang to drop the phone. She froze in place as the little bit of color in her face drained. The scream triggered something in Yang. That something was bad, very bad. Especially considering she didn’t have her quirk regulators. Luckily there was no readily available source of blood. Control has always been hard for Yang. Especially in stressful situations.
This situation was definitely stressful. The zombies had broken the door the only thing that was keeping them away was the church priest? She wasn’t sure exactly who was keeping the zombies at bay from destroying everyone in that church. However she did know there was a child in that church. That’s all that mattered to Yang. Could Yang do this? She wasn’t sure, she was scared. The last time a child screamed like that it was her.
She screamed in that manner when she lost her parents. She screamed for mercy for them to stop but they didn’t. Somehow she made it out of there but she had forever instilled the hatred of those people into her heart. She vowed for revenge. Revenge that she was rightfully hers. That she had gotten only a few years ago or so she thought.
The girl’s scream triggered Yang’s memories that were buried so deep that not even Red was aware of it. There was another person. This was something that Red would have to deal with later. Right now there was a group of zombies that needed to be dealt with. She sneered because she wasn’t in control and the persona that was in control was frozen with fear.
They were going to be useless unless something was done. They would be a literal sitting duck if she couldn’t convince the other persona to switch with her. She swore mentally and demanded that Yang relinquish control so that things can be handled. Yang agreed and just like that the two persona’s switched.
Red was in control now. The change was subtle, she was still the same person but everything else was different. How Red carried herself it was drastically different then how Yang would. Her aura was vastly different. This was something that most of everyone in the group didn’t know about her. Maybe Niji has heard bits about this other persona from Mizuki but this probably was her first time actually witnessing it herself.
Red quickly took control of her emotions and cleared her mind. Luka had made a statement to save the civilians and to not kill the zombies. She nodded however Kaguya had acted first. She made a make shift entrance for them to get into to save the civilians but at the same time created a lot of unnecessary noise.
Now it was only the matter of time. Red sneered she needed to act now. She was only grateful that Yang was wearing her weapons as she prepared for the worst to happen. If possible Red would activate her quirk last minute. She knew the moment her quirk activated it would put her on a clock that she couldn’t afford at this time with so many enemies.
Luckily she was trained in sword fighting, ninjistu, and running. She loved to run and was quite happy that she could reach this speed naturally. She had dashed in the make shift door, thank goodness most of the zombies were slow. Luka was right there were 5 civilians, a child, and Mr. Mosa. The child was sobbing in her father’s pant leg.
Red was determined to get the child away first but only if she could convince both the father and child to come with them. However to her surprise the father gave her the child and demanded that young girl be saved first. The kid whined demanding for them both to come but the father figure was right in some sense. The child would be slow and the easiest target out of all the civilians.
She held onto the child quickly as she dashed back out the make shift door. She drew her sakabato in case she was met with zombies. Red would do anything to keep this child safe. Now that she was out the church, all she had to do was place the child in a safe spot to get the rest. That’s if the zombies haven’t taken notice of her as of yet.
Red could only hope she had the time. After all this was just a matter of time that would only be accelerated if her quirk activated. Hopefully with the group combined the can save the civilians without any injuries.

Cyril's plan would of been working solidly. He would of made it directly upto the church walls only to realize that the windows were not where he thought they were. The plan was a good one considering but if he had properly scanned the building he would of realized that the windows were too high for him to teach without some sort of assistance. With the zombies closing in Cyril would of had to think quick to avoid getting surrounded and if this was anything like the movies, eaten.
There were some loud noises outside of his trashcan hiding place to which the young doctor would of decided that the best course of action would be to reveal himself. Covered in trash and smelling atrocious, Cyril would of slowly stood up straight groaning as he had heard the other zombies around him doing. Assimilation would be the best course, and hide in plain sight to avoid being caught though something told the young quirker that if it worked now, it would not work for long. Doing the "zombie shuffle" Cyril would come to notice that the church that once was brick and wood(for its doors) now had some sort of opening. Rather the wall would of been peeled like a fruit to create an opening.
If he had more time, Cyril would of loved to marvel at the sight. To ponder the type of quirk and come up with theories and tested assumptions about the type and of course, whether owner of it was. Did they have some sort of split personality? And that allowed them to "split" matter they touched but only if both personalities agree on the object? Shaking himself back to attention, Cyril would risk it and run for the hole in the wall, hoping to jump and land with a roll, coming to a stop inside. In his immediate area there were students that he assumed were from UA. This was all not before he noticed the giant thing growing and coming from the graveyard.
"Hey! Hello zombies are outside. Bigger zombie, probably the leader in the back."
He would state matter-of-factly. He would be smelling like garbage and even have a spare banana peel hanging on his shoulder, but his glasses would be immaculate and as he brushed off the loose dirt and such off his lower parts of his labcoat.

The students started to move. The initial attack from luka would be highly successful, pushing all of the small fry zombies out of the way, making them tumble and some outright fall to pieces across the grassy grounds. However, when the wave hit the big and fat one, the creature looked like it was being pushed for a moment... but immediately started stomping on the slime and pushing itself through! The slime was pushing through its orifices, gushing through its ears and nostrils... almost like it didn't even need to breathe! "BLBLBLBLOO YOoooguuuuurt...!" For a moment it looked like it was held in place. Similarly, Luka was successful in whipping a hold on the lady, whilst she was confused by the situation! "Oh... Friends... of yours?"
The other students took control of the situation. Turning the wall into chalk, indeed, it broke. However, the door was only the size of a singular door. The people couldn't just rush through, but they would fit out atleast somehow with a little bit of squatting. But it would take a while to get them all out. However, with the door open, and the zombies for now held away from the door, it seemed like a chance for escape had gone, as the people stood up panically ran towards the makeshift door! "Oh, thank you! thank you!" "I'm so sorry! I-I doubted U.A so much...!" With these panicked cries of relief, atleast one of them was still happy about the situation! "Hewoes! Hewoes will win! Show the stupids wat fow!" The little lady was punching the air, like the situation had already been won!
However... that was not even close to the case. Even though the lady was momentarily stopped, the giant wooden creature entered the building, almost flanking the people at the makeshift door, if Mosa wasn't there. That and the zombies accompanying the lady followed him inside. Mosa quickly aimed his magnets towards the other chandeliers, pulling them towards himself, and then launching them like three projectiles towards the small horde! Many of the little ones got outright stapled into the humongous tree zombie, but the tree zombie himself didn't seem to even care about the gnarling extra weight on him, as it still lumbered forward. "...Should have guessed you are a little bit thicker than that. Don't worry! I'll keep it away until you make it awa..."
As he tried to push against the beast and talk at the same time, the tree proceeded to swing its arm downwards, like a humongous axe, sinking its claws into mosas shoulder and swinging him at the benches! "Hnnnngh!" The bench broke from the sudden weight, as a tiny bit of blood trickled down... "That's right. You are a wooden creature." The zombies groaned in answer like hilarified sneers. "Maybe if I can just... push one of those chandeliers deep enough...!" Besides, they were his main way of keeping him away with his quirk. He gave glances around, if he could anything bigger in the room to use!
Meanwhile, the surprise factor of Lukas maneuver seemingly came to an abrupt stop. "I have... to thank... Mosas... friends for... Caring so much!" The lady started swinging her arms! Her entire body slowly tried to gather momentum! And Luka could feel it! His slime would be reeled in towards her, his body feeling each swing inviting him closer towards her claws! Meanwhile, the fatso had gotten more friends putting an effort into pushing into the slime, forcing it to stretch out of their way! "BLORE BLEEEEEEEEEEAT!" Both sides needed more power to put to each side! And meanwhile, Mosa himself was fighting a desperate battle of his own, that needed help... "Please! Hurry! We are surrounded!" And in the end, the civilians needed to be taken care of too. or at least taken a safe distance away for a pick up. And in the distance, ominous cracking sounds echoed...

Niji followed the students, following the orders of Luka-senpai. The group headed for the side of the church where Kayuga made a makeshift door for everyone to get out. Niji went to the other side of it. "Everyone, please. Calmly but quickly exit out the hole one at a time. Children first, please," Niji whispered to them, waving them to the door. Niji stood guard on the other side of it making sure the people got out safely, allowing Yang to go first with the small child. She would do her best to help anyone who would have trouble getting through the hole.
Part of her was still worried. What if this didn't work out? Part of her felt like this would be just like the Uta Incident. The nightmares of losing her friends and father still haunted her. But she remebered something her father use to tell her. Don't let the past be your determining factor of your future. Life will throw challenges in a person's way to test their strength. Let loss and failure be the teacher for success. Even now, Niji's father's still resounded in her mind. She experienced loss. She had experienced failure. She didn't want to feel it again. This mission had to go off with success. Hopefully.
The smell of garbage hit Niji's nose as another young man joined them, telling them that there were more zombies. As the people went out of the hole in the wall, Niji wondered if she should interfere with what was going on between the wooden zombie and Mosa. Even Luka kind of looked that he had his hands full. Plus the other zombies were outside. But the civilians comes first. Wait! What if the zombies inside the church spotted them getting out? And weren't they suppose to save Mosa too?
Niji thought about for a second. She said out to the other students, "I am going to go help Mosa-sensei." She ran up to the giant tree zombie. She wasn't sure if she was strong enough to fight it one-on-one, and she wasn't planning to. She just needed to give Mosa-sama enough time to recover. Maybe throwing the creature of balance would be the way to go, hopefully squashing the others hanging from it. She charged forward aiming a punch for the ankle, hoping. Even if she didn't know the creature off balance, it would at least get his attention. 'I have a feeling this is going to hurt,' Niji thought as she aimed a punch for the creature's ankle.

Everyone began to move almost at once, Luka's lips thinning as he managed to not only force a gap in the sea of possible undead, but held on to the larger and obviously more powerful zombies. At least, for a moment. He felt rather than saw the sudden halt of the large male, and the pressure against his slime tendril that told him it was coming for him. At about the same time he could feel the woman begin to spin, catching on the slime and somehow managing to pull on it. At first he simply produced more of the gel, the translucent blue goo glistening in the light as it continued to wrap around her like a tape measure unreeling from his arm. At the same time the big guy was pushing directly towards him, the slime on that side parting around the much larger zombie and then slamming back into the church so as to prevent any of the lesser undead from getting through.
"Everyone needs to move, now! I can't hold them for too long!" he called out, "get the civilians and Mr Mosa out of there, do NOT engage, we can't fight properly while we have to defend!" his young voice was hard, and demanded obedience. He wasn't sure how well it would work, but as the most experienced hero on the field (even if he was still in training) he hoped the others would follow his instructions. Otherwise things could get fairly messy very quickly.
Realising that he would not be able to hold his current position safely, Luka had to make a decision. Trying to turn the slime around the female zombie as sticky as he could, the small teen attempted to hurl her as far as he could, detaching the mass of slime from his body and, if he was lucky, sticking her to wherever she landed long enough to give them time to manage the situation better. He was under no illusions, she wouldn't be held for long, but if she could be prevented from joining the fight long enough, then he would be satisfied. Reeling back however much slime he could salvage from that mess, the Germanic teen turned his attention to the next problem, the big guy.
Bringing another tentacle of slime to bear, he focused his strength on the large zombie, more slime surging forward to wrap around the heavyset body and restrain it. Were he physically capable of sweating, Luka was sure he would have been, his strength focused so heavily on the singular act of restraining the flesh-hungry man and keeping the others safe from the lesser undead. Of course, he wasn't so wet-behind-the-ears as to allow himself to fall into tunnel vision, his attention splitting between his primary task, the smaller zombies, the woman, and the people inside the church. He could hear something huge moving around in the church itself, and he hoped to whatever gods were listening that the other students could get the people out before that became a problem.
This was the sort of heroics that Luka wasn't particularly fond of, not in that he disliked saving people, but he would much rather be proactive in his approach and prevent scenarios such as this where non-combatants were a factor. This would be sooooo much easier if he weren't having to worry about civilians. Still, it was what it was, and he was hardly about to turn his back on people that needed him. He didn't consider it an exaggeration that his presence here was vital for the survival or at least safety of the others. He may not have been U.A.'s strongest student, but he was the strongest in the area, and that would have to do.
"Quickly!"
