"Heheheehe!~ I almost feel bad getting paid to do this...!" A demon walked the halls of the once wretched, now ashen st Martas. Flames seemed to emerge in the wake of his passing steps, molten marks left on the ground behind him before igniting into a newborn flame. A dangerous quirk to say the least and a difficult to control one at best, but when the name of the game was arson... there was none more valuable. Brought in to add a little more oomph to the day's proceedings the demon-like arsonist, hell-walker, trudged through St Martas. No goal in mind. No vengeance to seek... he was simply here to emphasize the burning destruction of this disgusting place. With him at the source an especially viscous torrent of fire was surging through the building. It's old framework was worn down, lacking in the desired fuels, having naturally decayed over time itself. Easy to catch fire, difficult to sustain, but even seared to ash the place was a searing mess of dangerous footings and blocked passageways, as our latest group of 'invaders' would arrive on the scene. Each of them there for their own reasons, the criminals who came here for their own selfish desires to... learn. To be informed. Perhaps to advance their own criminal desires. Perhaps just to ensure such horrific things weren't to happen again as contracts came to collect their debts. With fires raging about, the three would find themselves, each for their own reasons, in the head office of the orphanage, with the establishment's many files at their disposal...

She walked close by Kozue's side, being able to stay by his side was useful. Her recent promoted best friend knew too much and yet too little but both of them knew that the information in this building was too precious too let go. Not only was there maybe information to find out why they were doing this, behaving like beasts and the like that she had figured out when she tried to find information for Niso, but it was also just that she wanted to know how the government allowed it. They should know, they were no idiots. There was a high chance they just stood and watched today, watch it burn, so the dirt on their clean sheet would be gone. Narcissa was here to find it all and had Kozue by his side because he was useful and he understood her pretty well.
Narcissa was dressed in a white long dress with surprising shorts underneath, her dark brown hair up in a ponytail and her face hidden by the white mask that was decorated with leaves and flowers. Daffodil was here and as one of the notorious informants at this point, she was going to find information. If she would be able to message or send something to Kyoko that would work but she assumed it was all on paper and paper was even more fragile to fire. Softly her feet stepped on the ground as they had managed their way to the head office and she quickly looked around, where would it be? Where to search? She did hear footsteps but also screams and everything else, it was hard to figure out who was where to make sure how much time she had. "Please keep an eye out on who is near, we need to find this." If she could find something to blackmail the government with, maybe she could keep clear of any list and any other command she would send. She had missed Semper Fi, she had missed Shinagawa but she wasn't going to miss another opportunity that pushed herself in her hands. How lucky she had been to know Niso, why else would she be interested?
She would finally as a matter of speech: jump in. She would aim for the desk, try to get everything to open and make a pile of what she could find and search through it, maybe she should ask Kozue to work the computer but at this point she would just start what they could not find elsewhere, maybe they could always steal the hard drive if they were running out of time.

You know what they say?
It's never too late to try something new!
This is exactly what the mission was, something completely new since he normally wasn't the one to walk around in flaming buildings. That's right, normally when a fire was involved, he was the one causing it before walking away from the scene of a crime with a concealed grin across his lips. Today was different as the duo headed to a place with one too many valuable secrets being clutched onto tightly. Either way he was so loyal to this woman that he was at her side to make sure she'd have some back up. Yeah, that's right, whether they succeed or not in finding out why this place was allowed to get away with their monstrosities to make him look like a goddamn saint or not, he had this woman's back. Even grabbed a fire extinguisher on the way over for back up! "Ya know I got'cha, Daffodil~" Smoothly speaking those words beneath his breath, he knew she'd be taking care of the search, so to speak.
Though one could argue that the main aspect with his quirk of shutting objects off all around them wouldn't be what one may call useful in this situation..his body could withstand heat pretty damn well. Hell, he needed to heat his own flesh to help his body mend open wounds and soften his metallic skin to aid a surgical needle to go through. Man, it was a pain in the ass, but at least in these conditions he could get the feeling of what it was like to be kind of normal. Kozue, also known as Blackout was dressed in a rather snappy looking maroon suit, a dark purple fabric mask, a black bowler cap upon his head and mirrored goggles to conceal his strange vibrant blue eyes.
The guy was normally pretty aloof, but not when he had someone around he gave a shit about and a job to do.
One would expect someone dressed like him to perhaps be toting around a machine gun, looking fresh out of a mafia movie or some crap. But nah, he had a strange preference toward flutes and knives, hidden away in the lining of his jacket. Peering around the corner of the door frame every now and then, he was listening in on any suspicious activity and keeping an eye out as well. He had the fire extinguisher near his feet as a little buy some time insurance policy around the easy to reach corner. A gloved hand tucked in the jacket of his suit, ready to pull out a weapon if need be. Most people laughed when he pulled a flute out on em' until he started playing those sweet painful melodies.
"Did they say anythin' t'ya 'bout havin' friendlies in the joint or ya want me ta skip the chit chat?" Part of him didn't lean toward the notion of blocking the door since it might look a little more suspicious that way. Hide in plain sight, so to speak. Though admittedly, as he looked around for any potential folks that might hinder his partner's progress, Kozue was also making sure he could see what the condition of this place was so he could give Narcissa a heads up about needing to move as well. Admittedly though, he also wanted to know how hostile he, himself should be according to her standards...formalities or none, that was the question.
Then again, he liked to think that folks who weren't going to be a problem would damn well inform him so they could all be on the same frrreeeeaaaaaakin page.

To the surprise of perhaps everyone except one, this party of two was in truth a trio, as Yuri stalked the curious couple through the burning building. But unlike them, his motives were far more similar to the unknown arsonist than the two with a mission, for he too had no vengeance to find in this orphanage nor any goal or information to seek, though this fact was obviously unknown both to the older boy and the mysterious entity whose goal was only chaos. The main reason he was here was simply because he saw these two make a beeline for this burning building, he'd seen the workers trying to prevent the heroes from entering as he passed by in grim fascination as did most of the civilian bystanders. But unlike those civilians, when the two he was now discreetly following did manage to gain entry, he was curious enough that he wanted too know just what could be worth risking entering a burning building, and what could be worth hiding that the people running this place would offer resistance too help.
And honestly, being inside the burning building wasn't as bad for the blonde boy as it was watching it from the outside. He had mainly been passing through the street when he ran into the crowd, the crowd of spectators. A crowd that hadn't been there ten years ago when he'd decided to observe a fire in the slums when he'd been homeless. And by the time he realized just what he'd walked into, making his way through the crowd to see the burning building, he'd all but had a panic attack at first. The memories that flooded him, a fire not too dissimilar from the one that'd struck the slums, Yuri innocently watching it, still capable of worrying for others back then as a small child. Hoping no one was being hurt, before a hero came from the night, fighting the fire despite the risks, illegality, and not even having a water quirk. It would be Yuri's first interaction with a vigilante, watching in awe at how he handled the fire even at a disadvantage, how thankful he'd been that'd it'd only been an empty makeshift hovel, how excited he was when the vigilante approached him, even when he was just a dirty street rat with a Mutation. And the confusion of having his nervous system shocked into unconsciousness by the man's touch, and horror of waking up in a basement, chained to a chair, in pure darkness. So having a way to escape from watching again, any way, even running into a burning building after a group of strangers. It was definitely the better alternative.
Yuri didn't realize it, but he'd stopped on the stairwell, gripping the thankfully not burning guardrail with a pure white grip as his knuckles, and the rest of him, was flushed from reliving that moment again. But he wasn't in the basement, he wasn't watching the hovel burn down, and he was on an adventure. And so, with his stress levels at still manageable levels, he moved onward, to what was unbeknownst to him, was the main office. Now, Yuri had been curious at just what the people running here were hiding, but he'd been hoping for something Exciting, BOOMING, FLASHY! Not...Paperwork, which is all he could see past the open door. At least until he crossed through the doorway, after which two things would become visible. Kozue, very obviously waiting for any late interlopers such as Yuri to be coming through that door in order to do what was most likely not good things too, and a P.A. System. And he immediately knew which he cared about more. Oh! Is that still working?! He'd nonchalantly ask the guard before making a beeline straight for the new toy if Kozue didn't try grabbing the excited teenager. Though he at least semed smart enough to expect this reaction, as he wouldn't attack the robot man if he stopped him. At least, as long as his pretty cloak didn't get damaged in the process.

With Yuri arriving on the scene with little to no idea what seemed to be going on, rushing for that intercom Device, it was down to Kozue and Narcissa to make sure they didn't reach it! (If Yuri reaches it I will put through any message he speaks to the other threads after this round. If he dosn't reach it all the other threads will hear a distorted screech from the tannoy system from where they just barely hit the on switch before being stopped).
Kozue's lone efforts to help fend off the blaze would ensure the fires don't reach into the room. It was hot, almost like standing in an oven with fire in pretty much every room beside this one, but at the very least the true danger of the fire was yet to reach inside the room. A temporary respite that was unlikely to last, but respite nonetheless....
Narcissa's effort's to search for information would yield some results. Searching the main office desk however she'd find surprisingly little of true value to her cause. While it was an instinctively good place to search, it seemed whoever was running this shit-stain of an orphanage didn't want such incriminating information kept close to their desk. They do however find-...
1 - A brief accounting form that reveals some staff information for st Martas. Easy things to decipher are all officially paid members of staff are female, and none of them are under 45 years old.
2 - A receipt that shows the 'boss' of st Marta's spends way too much money on tacos for lunch.
3 - a small pile of complaints, some papers even seem to have something like a coffee stain. Its unclear where these complaints originate from but many have scrawled handwriting and violently crude language
With the 'reactions' over....
The demon man wandering the hall spreading flames would chuckle heartily to himself. This was the dream gig. He just had to be here, using his quirk, spreading fire and destruction, his wide grin almost encompassing his face, but soon growing more shallow before fading entirely as something caught his attention. A mix of blues and oranges amongst his vision. Now typically orange wasn't an unusual thing to see in a fire, but this particular demon saw with thermal vision. The fire was red if not white solely to his eyes, but in the distance through it all... he saw the colors of living things, and somethin else... he began to walk towards it's source, a curious nature to his destruction now...
As the demon grew closer the fires grew more intense. While those in the head office would be unaware of the demon they would certainly notice his effects, a sudden burst of flames coming from one of the hallway doors, bursting it apart and letting fire start to lick the edge of the room, curling up around the doorframe and threatening to spread across the ceiling if it wasn't stopped by those inhabiting this space. A spark could turn into a forest fire, and this fire was already halfway there...

Hmm. It was a sound she made out loud and yet not entirely, "Hmm." It was not that she did not hear Kozue, it was that she was trying to search for things, she did not want him to think she did not appreciate him coming along. "It's fine, I might react slowly." She said more clear now, putting a pencil behind her ear as she was trying to take notes of what she found, this desk was awfully empty and she should try to get something else to open up about what she needed. Obviously those people were prepared, no information where you would expect it, then if she was someone shady where would she have the better files? "Oh and I think everyone that seems to be against this building is our friend?" She forgot to answer Kozue's first question but she was sure Niso was here and Luzia though she had not- yes... she had met the painter... hm... strange. She took the complaints and put them in her pocket, that was something at least to shove in someone's face as well as that there were only females here. She looked around the room and just when she decided where to go next, she noticed the teen and pulled him back from the desk with her gloved hand. "Who are you and what the hell do you think you are doing here?" She looked at Kozue to make sure he would take the child away from her while she tried to move to the fish tank. Why would you have a fish tank if you did not even care about living human beings? Unless you found pets more appropriate, lots of people had that, dogs and cats were much more loved than other humans but a fish?
To be honest, she did not blame Kozue for not seeing this white beanstalk of a kid as he had to keep his eyes on the thing outside, was it her or did it get warmer inside? She was from an island where the temperature could be quite high but surely this felt a little too much? She had no time to waste on this kid as she needed files... this kid... "You ain't from here or are you?" If he was, maybe he knew where the files were! That saved her time in searching! Seriously though a fish tank, that would burst soon if it was getting any warmer in here, she looked in it to see if she would spot some of the creatures before trying to open the drawers and search any further.

Okay so that meant ask questions if someone showed up...cool, good to know.
"Don't worry 'bout it...but good ta know..." With a heavy sigh as he turned his attention back to the flames an...HOLY FRICK! TINY LITTLE SCRAWNY THING JUST ZOOOOOOOMED right on by and beneath those mirrored goggles, his eyes shot wide open as it followed the tiny thing's trail. The fancily dressed fellow who kept his metallic features concealed tried and failed to grab the slippery little scamp! "OI! WHADDAYA THINK YER DOIN?!"
This kid was fast on his feet, geeze! Glancing around the corner to look at the condition of the flames getting increasingly worse, shiiiiiiiiit he wasn't a fire fighter by any means! Okay, kid first then deal with the damn flames. "Look, if ya know anythin' 'bout this place, spill it n' we can get outta here faster...by the way, nice coat. Just don't mess with the damn P.A system..." Part of him was really tempted to mess with it himself for shits and giggles, but he had a job to do and needed to take it seriously.
That job was called make sure they don't become crispy! Okay, crap...he didn't want to use the extinguisher he found just yet...that was the ace in his sleeve. When he shifted his attention to the fish tank, an idea sparked in his head. Little fashionista blonde boy wonder over here seemed like a pretty low level concern, but if Narcissa wanted to sick em' on the kid, he'd deal with it then. Grabbing the fish tank, he really didn't give a hoot or toot about them or their little lives, screw em'!
Ugh, at least it wasn't a big body of water but he was cringing beneath that mask and had his eye twitching like crazy while walking on out to splash some water upon the flames as much as he could. BBQ fishies, at least they didn't die slow, right? Yeah, sure, whatever okay they had a quick death and he was merciful in that way? Chucking the tank off to the side, he was actively looking around for some other things he could toss on the damn fire to see if it would do any good. If he couldn't, he was definitely gonna say screw it and get the fire extinguisher to buy them more time in the here and now.
Geeze...it's almost like this friggin' fire had a life of its own!

MOSHI MOOOS-! Yuri had successfully slipped by the less than effective guard, not really gathering much on him other than a general figure and hat due to be directly in line of sight of what he already knew was the most interesting part of this room, the intercom. The terrible bouncers yells of questions went unanswered, the sweet siren call of the beautiful PA system being within hands reach, to the point he'd already started his greeting by the time he pushed the button.
But unfortunately, he didn't get to finish his greeting to all the different people in the building, and ask them where the cool, non paperwork based secrets were being hidden, or what the people below were doing in a burning building in the first place, or ask them their opinions about the latest pop song. They would definitely know it, it was the one that went Bum bumbum badadumdum dumdumdumdum. It had made the top charts and Yuri kinda liked it, they really harmonized the pitches well. It didn't matter to the boy they couldn't respond back, honestly it was kinda nicer that way, it allowed him to be spared any opinions that were definitely wrong and not worth even considering. But instead, he'd only get out a partial greeting before having his chain pulled back, not by the expected guard but instead by the second person that he hadn't even bothered looking for in his tunnel vision. Honestly Yuri wasn't even sure if he managed to get out his greeting before the woman who'd seemingly appeared out of nowhere despite having been in plain sight the entire time took him away from his toy.
Apparently she didn't have much interest in keeping him though, as Yuri got handed off like a sack of potatoes to the man Yuri was only now noticing was a robot. Or at least he was pretty sure. The snazzily dressed metal man would see the blonde boy squinting at him, the barcode under his right eye scrunched up he visibly focused at staring at him, Yuri trying to see if this blurry looking grey man was actually as metallic as he looked, the farsighted boy struggling with him so close. But while the cool looking blob was currently out of focus, the woman from before was now coming into focus as she walked away, her long dark hair and skin taking shape. She definitely wasn't Japanese. And as she asked the boy her question she might have gotten more than she bargained for in return. Oh! I'm Yuri♡ I saw you both enter this burning building and was wondering what could be in here to make someone do something so stupid. Unless you're crazy. Are you crazy? And if you are who are you? Are you not from Japan? Where are you from? Why'd you come here? If you're not from Japan why come into a burning building? Are you a hero who moved here? The boy proceeded to bombard the poor girl with a job with an inferno of questions that managed to match the flames in the room.
But she wouldn't be the only one who would question the boy, as next the metal, he was pretty sure he was metal by now, now only semi-blur started talking next. However, the boy would merely shrug at his insistance that Yuri give up any info on the building that he may have. Like I said, I only came here cause you did. And then he'd give a devilish grin to the robot man's still unfocused face, which either was shaped like an Easter Island head mixed with a pancake or he was wearing a very large hat. But while he freely rambled to his two captors/victims, he still had a certain alertness too him as he avoided mentioning his near meltdown outside, and this keenness momentarily reflected in his constricted pupils as he grinned at the man holding him, a split second glimmer that might be caught by Kozue even though it disappeared as quickly as it came.
But all of this became irrelevent at the robo man's next words, as he complimented his jacket. Suddenly Yuri's face would brighten up, not holding back the excitement at all, and not caring about his demand that he not play with the intercom after it, though it was questionable if the blonde teen actually even caught that part in the first place given how elated he'd become. REALLY? YOU THINK SO? IT'S MY FAVORITE! IT'S Long BUT DOESN'T CLASH AND HAS A HOOD AND A BOW WHICH MAKES IT PRETTY! Actually... As he excitedly grabbed the metal man's arm, bringing to question who was holding who now, he noticed his jacket and how it felt. And it felt nice, like out of the expensive materials a lot of the more pretty clothing had. But because the blurred man was standing so close Yuri didn't have a good view of just what he was looking at, which caused the boy to frown in frustration. But before Yuri could impulsively try escaping away from the possibly snazzy dressed man, suddenly the fire in the hallway would come to life, or more to life as they now threatened to start overtaking the room. Yuri, for his part, watched with mild curiosity at the sudden inferno, wondering just what'd accelerated the fire while still calm about it due to his closeness to the exit if things started getting too hot. Indeed, fire in itself wasn't one of Yuri's triggers, he hadn't been in the hovel that had been burning when he got kidnapped. In fact this was the first time he'd ever been in the same room as a fire, thus there were no memories to dredge up, no nightmares to relive.
But while the rekindled flames didn't bring a reaction out of the blonde boy, they did get a reaction from his babysitter. Soon Kozue left to fight the flames, grabbing the fish tank that the dark skinned woman was by. And as he left, he finally got a good look at him. He was not, in fact, an pancake-Easter Island headed robot, instead wearing one of those old hats that Yuri saw on samurai on TV. While it might give off that old wanderer vibe, it wasn't very pretty and thus Yuri dismissed it immediately. But what the confirmed robot man lacked in hat taste, he made up in coat wear, as the man wore a long, flowing coat that was extremely pretty. And to top it off he had a BOW! Or a scarf, which was just the cousin of a bow, which meant it was still quite pretty. So as the robo man grabbed the fishtank to fight the now spreading fire, he'd now also have Yuri following him, reaching out occasionally to touch his coat. Your coat and scarf are so pretty!! Where'd you get them?! I want one too! Do they make bigger scarves though? Can it become a bow?

Through the efforts of a guarding robo man the sound the rest of the building heard was naught more than an echoing screech among the tanoy systems, and everyone could keep moving on their search and defense of this little room. It seemed that Narcissa was on the search for something you wouldn't expect to find in the place she began to search. On closer inspection of the fishtank the contents were... red herrings. Metaphorically speaking of course. In fact it was a collection of fake goldfish. Very details ornaments tied to the bottom of the fishtank by incredibly thin string. Unnoticeable through the water unless you gave it a very keen eye. The tank seemed to be for decoration more than any form of actual pet maintenance.
Inspecting the drawers below Narcissa would find the simple amenities. There was an actual can of fish food weirdly enough... it had been opened, which, given the fish were fake, was even weirder but maybe the woman who ran this place had some weird cravings. Some documents were found amongst the mess however, seemingly more focused on details of the orphanages programs and adjustments...
1 - A series of documents detailing the nature of the foster program. Kids fostered are all listed with their quirks, some seem to have details of why they were fostered, ranging from 'entertainment' with quirks that generate illusions or lightshows, and others such as 'aggressive force' for quirks such as a 'floral dragon'. Some are just listed as 'no questions asked'.
2 - Some documents showing a sprinkler system adjustment to an underground lab. Due to a wiring issue the sprinkler system is activated by a switch placed behind an already installed piece of equipment (some form of chemical analysis machine, the notes become handwritten and the person writing them clearly dosn't care about the real names of a lot of the things he's talking about)
3 - A receipt for the fake fish in the fishtank
With the efforts to quell the fire from the robo man and the annoying companion now following him around, the fire iiiiis kinda suppressed? Maybe? One fishtank wasn't really enough to fight it back and the fire spreads to the bookshelves, starting to eat away at it's side. (3 documents have been crossed off my random roll list) The fires seem to curve away from the water, as if it does indeed have a mind of it's own, almost roaring back in defiance of their defense.
From one of the empty wall spaces, a burst of flames emerges as well as a heavy series of thuds. The fire demon chasing the unique heat signatures was in the hallway on the otherside of the wall, not thinking to bother finding the door, he began slamming his head into the wall itself, fire spreading through it, weakening it until his head finally slammed through, a wide white grin on his face as he looked over the people inside the room. "Mmmm... meatbags... and a tin man! I can grill them on you!~"
Cissy, through all the chaos, may notice an old iron key taped to the bottom of the discarded fish tank...

She stood in front of the fish tank first. Her eye twitching when she listened to the boy called Yuri... A hero from overseas... yes if they had not taken her license and killed the whole system, could she strangle him? No. Not now, maybe later, she needed to focus and see if she could find something, which was why she would look underneath the fish tank in the drawers. Who would have an empty fish tank and yet still fish food... some idiots worked here for sure. She turned to look over her shoulder shortly at Kozue, she wanted the child to shut up. It wasn't like they were walking in a shopping store they were trying to get the information that Marta's was so desperately hiding from everyone. Seriously, trying to distract him about clothes made her only more agitated but she managed to work on and get the focus back to the papers. She looked in the can of fish food as it was open and just frowned before looking at the documents. Seriously this person must be so strange, why hide your papers- she stopped dead in track in her sarcastic mental comments.
Bingo.
"You have to be kidding me?" Maybe she wasn't that far in the strange sense of being a villain but the quirks and the kids, it made no sense. She shivered when she read it, entertainment, floral dragon... hm. Those names and the idea of all those quirks and she would just look at it, moving the page after page. She had no time to read all but what the hell, she took the list of the workers again, what the hell, but why... She needed to get something to protect the papers from the fire, she would for now hold it in her hands. The other paper was a receipt that wasn't interesting and the sprinkling system. "They have an underground lab?" She squinted at what was written on it. What would they need a sprinkler system in an underground lab for? In case one of the kids combusted? Her stomach made a summersault, these people were crazy. "I need more time." There must be more, but the fish tank was now gone and... oh. Shit the fire already had reached that, she needed to hurry to the other side of the room and go for that and grab everything that she could get... not that the world agreed with her. She put the papers under her clothes, using her jeans to hold on to them and the blouse knotted over it. She looked around and noticed a key on the fish tank... so it was there with a reason. "As I said, I need time!" She jumped over the table now and rushed to get the key. Whatever it was for, it was rusty and old, it might survive the fire. But she needed papers, information, she would check later if it was stupid taco receipts or not. But the papers, everything would be lost... they would get away with it unless she grabbed a hold of someone, not this guy though. But he seemed to be hired to get rid of the evidence?

SHIT okay so this situation was rapidly going down hill, that meant it was time to change gears get the emergency option because holy shiitake mushrooms, this was a goddamn wild ride in the burning ring of fire. Part of him wanted to smack this kid, but truth be told, Yuri earned a slice of respect and sparked some inspiration in the metallic man. Appreciating fashion was always a plus in his book, especially someone who appreciated quality and style. Especially with how they had some guy pulling some horror movie shtick right in front of them?! Kiddo over here better start pulling some weight because otherwise, they were all going to be in deep shit...so hopefully this was crazy enough to work. "Yuri, look, I made my outfit and I'll make you something real nice if ya help me an' the nice lady by putting out the fire~"
Saying those words while hauling the deadass weight of this kid going ham and inspecting his snazzy attire, he grabbed the back up plan of a fire extinguisher and did his best to put out more flames. Sparing a glance over to mister fresh flames outta hell, he spared some words for the guy while trying to get him to kindly fuck off and go somewhere else. "As for you, listen, that sounds kinda kinky n' all, but no thanks pal! 'sides, didn't our buddies out there invite ya along for the ride or somethin'? All on the same damn team here...so if you could just, ya know...stop making things tough fer us, that'd be peachy."
SERIOUSLY if this guy was going to continue stirring the shit pot and didn't agree to let them get their happy information hunt done, Kozue was absolutely going to smash the now useless and empty fire extinguisher right into this demon looking guy's mug. HOWEVER, if he was going to work with them and lay off, great then he'd set the useless as fuck fire extinguisher and look for more ways to put out the fire. Truthfully, his patience was running thin...but he figured since Narcissa mentioned they had allied folks here, give this eccentric fire boy a chance with words, yeah? Yeah.

Whereas Yuri had given the courtesy of answering the tanned woman's questions, he would not receive such kindness back as she didn't even see fit to even give him her name, let alone everything else he'd asked as he bombarded her with questions. And just like he would have been with the PA System, Yuri showed that he was absolutely fine with talking to someone who wasn't talking back, as he continued questioning the woman even when it was quite clear she was no longer listening. But when she went from not listening to him to outright ignoring him, turning around and talking about some underground lab and how she needed more time, whatever that meant, the atmosphere would suddenly and noticeably shift with one simple question. Are you ignoring me, nee-chan?~ While Yuri had absolutely no issue with taciturn teammates or one-sided conversations, there was a difference between someone no longer listening to you and just completely disregarding and ignoring you. And Yuri was not at all a fan of being ignored by someone.
And his displeasure would be immediately apparent, this question not being like the others he'd been asking. While it still had that same innocent tone as before, the carefreeness that had been present in his questions was gone, in its place a subtle seriousness that was hard to fully place yet impossible to miss as the question suddenly became far more dangerous in its implications. Answering this one question wrong could change the situation from its original light-heartedness to something far more violent. But luckily just as he had triggers, the blonde boy also had destressors, one of which were cute things, and as the impeccably dressed Kozue grabbed him and Yuri took notice of his clothing, once again the mood would shift at breakneck speeds. Just as quickly as the shift in tone came, it would disappear as the strange man complimented his coat and Yuri himself would become quite attached to the strangers outfit, and would stick to the tall man like a leech as he went to deal with the fires, bringing along the fish tank to put it out, once again acting as excited and extroverted as he had before his sudden change in mood, acting as if it hadn't even happened at all as he constantly reached out to literally get more of a feel of the man's outfit while bombarding him with questions.
The only thing that temporarily distracted Yuri from his obsession was the sudden appearance of a flaming head as it burnt its way through one of the walls into the room, Yuri tilting his head in curiosity at the sudden intrusion of a burning head. Oh~ Hi! Who are you? Are you supposed to be on fire? Is that your quirk? Or did you catch on fire? Does it hurt? Are you a...Demon? Unperturbed at the strange beings nonchalant implications of cannibalism, instead Yuri would grin widely at his last question, excited at the possibilities of just who or what this thing could be. But as the man whose name he revealed as Kozue started talking, his attention would once again get grabbed by an offer that caused his eyes to light up, no longer paying attention to the burning man/possible demon. YOU WILL?! OK! BUT YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THROUGH OK! PROMISE! Acting as a child demanding certainty after being promised a toy if he was good, Yuri would look around the room for a fire to put out. And the most obvious fire he could find at the moment belonged to a talking head in the wall. And so with gusto that can only be achieved by being promised cute things, Yuri would pick up the discarded fire extinguisher before walking to the flaming head, and with zero hesitation pointed the nozzle at him and pulled the trigger. Except, to his curiosity and annoyance nothing would come out. Yuri would shake the can before trying again, once again with the same results. Is this thing broken? He was mostly talking to himself aloud, though he could be heard by everyone else in the room. He actually had never used a fire extinguisher before, and wasn't sure if he was just using it wrong or if something else was wrong. Either way, he was undeterred in his mission, and if he couldn't make it shoot that stuff that put out fires, he'd just have to go about it a different way. And so Yuri would proceed to try and bask the flaming head with the extinguisher, deciding if he couldn't put out the fire one way, he'd just beat the maybe demon with it until he stopped flaming, one way or another.

Narcissa's efforts to search the filing cabinets would be a bit of an arduous one. There were clearly your typical files, information on the kids and the like, maybe a few kids that Narcissa might personally recognize. By collecting the scraps of a few misplaced files she's able to collect the totallity of a few fully files.
1 - Niso file - Niso Konto's personal file from his time at St Martas. His drop off designation is that he was personally dropped off by his parents at the time. He's noted as being an extremely quiet child with little use for the foster program. There are notes he was used as abusive stress relief due to his ability to hide / heal bruises and his willingness to do so.
2 - Luzia File - Luzia Gottschalk's personal file. Her drop off designation is not recorded making it unclear how she came to the orphanage, though she is noted as having still spoke German for a few years after being brought into the orphanage, a nuisance for the staff. She is noted as being the first case of 'violent breakouts' from St Martas that specifically happened on orphanage grounds.
There is a scrawled note 'had to cash in the one the mayor owes me' angrily added at the bottom...
There is nothing seeming to set off the idea that the filing cabinets have anything directly of importance to Narcissa but she is free to keep looking.
Back with the other two hero-er... villains of the day, the fire demon with his head through the wall tipped it to the side, clearly a little on the slow side he narrowed his gaze when the tin man tried to imply they were on the same side. Was that so....? He had heard there were some people he maybe shouldn't kill here today... but... "If we're on the same side... why are you putting out my beautiful fi-GAGH!"
His head retreated from the hole it had rammed into the wall, shooting a glare as he returned at the rascal that had struck him like that, gritting his teeth into a scowl as he glared them down. Two searing spots apearing on the walls beside his head before a burst of flame destroyed the wall entirely. Thanks to the efforts of the two it didn't spread far with all the foam around, but he was certainly in their faces now, the flames behind him roaring like a beast all of their own. "GRAAAAAGH!!!" He reared back, flames swirling around his right arm before throwing it forward, trying to envelop Yuri.

Narcissa's eye twitched when Yuri or what was the name again, asked if she was ignoring him. "As you know you followed me, so you know I came here with a reason, the building is on fire, I need to get the information I am looking for." She did not look at him as she had managed her way to the cabinets and tried to look through it. All of it was files and she wouldn't have enough time to just look through it and accept what it said, she needed to be quicker, finding Niso and Luzia (she only figured out a few seconds later she was looking at the right name) their files meant she would take them... not sure if they would be happy with it but they could always destroy the files in a new fire later, who cared. She needed to be quicker, trying to get Kozue to give her time was a very difficult question and with this kid around it wasn't very helpful. "Not this guy!" She said after finding a key and looking around to find the lock for the key, where would it be? Well, no time to waste and she managed to get to the bookshelf and tried to pick some of the papers out there before it would catch on fire. "Blackout, if you see a big old lock let me know." With the obvious unspoken part being that she found a key... luckily he tossed that thing else she wouldn't have known. The sprinkler system in the lab worried her if they could get a sprinkler system here, but it was behind another system so... did that mean it did not work? Was there a sprinkler system here? The problem was she wasn't here to stop the fire immediately, heck for all she cared to burn Marta's. She just wanted the files before that. No one had to be the wiser she had that, except maybe Niso.
Again putting the papers she got, the files and potential new ones under her shirt, and under her coat to avoid it getting too crispy she turned around to look at the mess the two boys made. Seriously, this was going to be an issue. Talking was no option, they had to get him out of this room but she needed Kozue to stand watch while she would search on. Keyhole... there must be a keyhole somewhere! Maybe it wasn't here though, maybe it was to an old iron door that led to the underground lab? Would make sense, fitted enough... but then where was that door and should she go now or when the fire was out? Though she wouldn't have much time after... considering police and all.

It felt too early to celebrate his victory as a member of the villainous baby sitter's club over here! This was seriously one of those scenarios that weren't his strongest suit, at least he was able to utilize a fire extinguisher and that helped. This was what we liked to call a brand of optimism and quite frankly, he couldn't blame Narcissa for being done and over dealing with this kid while she was on the prowl for info. That's the thing though, where she was lacking in the socially warm brand of things, at least he was there on her corner of the team to help with that. Errr well, at least this way, she could keep her eyes on the prize until everything got sorted out.
Things seemed fiiiiiiiiiine...
Peachy keen....
Then little Yuri McBitch Slapped the fire guy in the face when he seemed willing to talk it out and work with them. OH FOR THE LOVE OF CRAP, WHAT THE HELL! Goddamn it, he should have just let this kid get burnt to a crisp! Swiftly grabbing the lively blonde by the scruff and pulling him out of the way while taking a few steps back, "NOPE, NEW OFFER FOR PRETTY COAT, YA GOTTA LOOK FOR A LOCK INSTEAD N' LET US KNOW ABOUT IT!" Letting out a heavy sigh, he glanced around and tried to look for a big ol' lock then returned his gaze back to the demonic looking fellow. If he opted to use Yuri as a distraction, this whole place was going to get burnt down!
Okay, cool, so you know what? One more approach at trying to do the talking thing in the mean time, "Look, we're just here t'get some files n' leave, that's why I've been messin' with your hot flames. Very nice work, by the way, n' sorry 'bout the kid smackin' ya in that gorgeous face o' yours, we just met em'..." There was no telling if he could talk his way out of this, especially after Yuri pulled that whack-a-mole stunt just now, but he'd be ready to get on the offense side of things. Plus, the cogs in his mind put together images from earlier that the fire seemed to have a bit of personality...so hey...maybe he'd see what good his flute would do. Despite things being pretty damn heated, he kept himself on the more friendly side...oooooh boy...hopefully the kid would cooperate juuust a little better with this new direction?
