Poemu was seriously starting to hate this city.
Sure, it had some nice things, and sure beat living out in the boonies. Tokyo, especially Akihabara, had plenty to offer for an obsessive dweeb like her. Plenty of places to buy manga and doujinshi, merchandising of all sorts, and no shortage of maid cafes, internet cafes and even manga cafes! Tokyo was, in that sense, a great place for someone like Poemu to waste her days in!
The only problem was that the city was so goddamn disaster-prone that you rarely got a good chance to appreciate the finer aspects.
These thoughts, and many, many more pessimistic ones, were flooding Poemu's mind as she crouched under the desk in one of the private booths at her favorite manga cafe. Internally, she was cursing herself for not just buying the volumes and reading them at school. Unfortunately, it was just too economical to buy time here for her to resist...
Which lead to her hiding in a dark, crammed room under her desk from zombies, holding her phone close and trying desperately not to scream or cry. Her heart-rate was through the roof, and she really couldn't stop thinking about what an idiot she was.
At this point, it had been a about a quarter of an hour since shit went sideways, and the manga cafe had been deathly quiet... Yet, the shuffling outside the door of her booth was unmistakable, and the occasional thudding and surprisingly high number of footsteps all told her that she was, positively, fucked.
There were likely a few zombies outside, she'd guessed so far, in the hallway that lead to all the different booths. Some might have made it into the lobby area, where some extra seating and all the volumes available were located. What Poemu was supposed to do with that information, she didn't know. What was there to do at this point other than hide and regret her life before her possible demise?
She choked back something, unsure if it was a scream or cry. Poemu hadn't even been checking her phone anymore, unsure of what to say or who to even say it too. The last thing she'd done was send a message to her parents, telling her she was safe, somewhere at a friends house. Poemu wasn't quite sure why she'd done that.
As Poemu curled up under the desk, she heard something slamming against a nearby door - though could tell it wasn't her own. What might have been a whimper or some other noise followed. Poemu flinched, not knowing what was going on, or what to do from here. Whether to run or hide, or even help whoever else might be trapped within the reasonable large manga cafe. Though, something useful did come to mind... Pulling off one of her prosthetic fingertips, Poemu reached up and around the top of the desk, feeling for a port in the PC that was in her room... Maybe she could do... Something...
Her hand trembled, and the phone was gripped tightly, so needless to say she still had know idea what she was planning to do, or even if she could follow through. Right now, all she hoped is that she might find some sign, any at all, that there was someone else nearby, someone she might be able to find if she got into the computer...
Hopefully she found them before one of the zombies broke down a door!

He was having the simplest chitchat with one of the ladies behind the counter to try and explain that he wasn't here to be mean, he was here to be as realistic as possible. He wanted to learn, he wanted to understand. Sure he had some mangas in his store but it wasn't selling great and he needed to understand how it worked and why people wanted them and which one they would want before he would have to toss them all out because they were too old already. Apparently Manga's were going on a hype and he wasn't sure how that worked and he couldn't keep up because books shouldn't go out of fashion, you had the best novels from aeons ago that people still wanted to read, portrait or consider to read. He sold second-hand books faster than the manga section and where would they provide him information then at the manga cafe. But no, they seemed to consider him as rival and the woman did not feel like sharing, bullocks.
That's when she fled. Like out of nowhere and in the middle of the conversation and he heard a thud against the door behind him. He was still in the hallway or what they called the lobby, he had still obvious questions about that as well but it did not matter. He did not get it, at first he thought it was something silly, a human being that kept bumping into the door instead of opening it. How many times had he seen customers use the push ability while the door said pull... it was like brains could not comprehend. But that's when the thing, that he considered a human before looked up and looked... not alive at all. "By Hekate what?" He muttered and he turned to look even closer, "Get away, get away they will come." But what would come? Finally Karasu pulled his attention from the whatever it was to beyond it and there were more and they were aiming to come here. He almost jumped when an alarm went off, though the sound died quickly again and he moved into the other hallway, where the boots were. First he managed to hide in another one, but he had no intention in staying here and he waited, he listened carefully. "Cost clear, cost definitely clear for a few seconds. The undead, very undead!" He glared at his companion, the one only visible to him. Karasu basically said what he thought but could never say it in the normal way, oh how he wished. He knew Karasu did it to bully him but the soul shut its mouth and turned to look there. The Gods would guide him, so he quickly opened the door, though his heart stopped beating for a second, indeed... there was no one.
He quickly moved further into the hall when he heard the sloppy footsteps again. Heh, which creature would not move his legs up quick enough or high enough? Right... "Mooooove, now." Karasu spoke and he bumped himself into a door, noticed a zombie thing on the opposite of the darker hallway and stumbled almost motionless back into the booth and pushed his back against the door when he was in. At first he did not notice anything, slumping down the door to block it from being opened or so he thought until he noticed... a girl. "Don't scream." He whispered, because he did believe (thanks to Karasu) that the creature outside might not have a brain enough to realize what just has happened or had not spotted Mamoru yet, he turned to look at his own spirit and it nodded and went to check, he needed to know for sure.

Juana was exploring Japan and all its wonders, thats why she found herself in a manga cafe like place. Everything felt so curious and strange and foreign to her. The place looked cute and... welcoming. She would have to give compliments to the owner for the interior design of this place. The ambience was quite lovely. She gladly explored the area.
Alas sadly, her exploring time was cut short upon arrival of the undead. And this wasnt the type of undead that was the quirk of Zombie King or whatever that Pro Hero of UA was called. No no, these were legitimate zombies. As one zombie approached her, Juana grabbed it and used her quirk to freeze it solid. And then she quickly roundhouse kicked it to shatter it. But... there were many more zombies and she had no weapons on hand since she was a civillian right now and not a thief nor a fighter nor a villain. She was unprepared for combat of any kind, she needed to flee
At the corner of her eye, she saw a child, a girl flee. She quickly followed her. Soon as they arrived in the room, including a rather effeminate man. They shut the door "Stand back please" she asked the man. Once he was hopefully away. She used her quirk to freeze the door shut, just to give that extra barrier to make sure the zombies dont break down the door that easily
She had no qualms using her quirk. Illegal or not, this was a time for self defence "Do you have a cellphone to call a Pro Hero to assist us?" she asked the man and tried to take charge of the situation. After which, she walked over to the girl who was scared. The man did so as well. The young child was spooked after all, and it needed clear attention from the adults
She even so quietly spoke as she gently gave the girl a gentle pat on the head "There there, querida. Dont worry. Everything will be fine". Juana tried to reassure the child that they will be safe. She tried to make sure they all survive the night

As the reality of this deadly situation continued to bear down on Poemu, she found herself internally asking all sorts of stupid questions. If she died, wasn't it going to be silly that her death was all because she wanted some cheap manga? Were these the kinds of zombies that would turn her, actually? Was someone going to find what was on her hard drives? God, she should've messaged Luka to delete it... Such asinine thoughts almost made Poemu chuckle, though any sounds she might make were stifled as she clamped down, avoiding making any noise as the shuffling and banging outside continued.
It was only a matter of time before something came in, she realized... What the hell was she going to do then? Well, aside from... Probably die...
Almost shivering, gripping her phone tightly, Poemu prepared for the worst, her mind racing and heart pounding like a jackhammer... Her panic was such that, when the door to her booth was suddenly flung open, she didn't utter anything in surprise. Instead, she froze up and hold her breath, her arms making some jagged movement towards some kind of self-defense, anything, anything!
So, just as Mamoru stumbled in, he'd see Poemu raising her phone, just about to whack him with it. Which, given that it was an old flip phone, probably would've been pretty painful.
Fortunately, her hand was stayed when she noticed this man was far too well put-together to be a zombie. Well, that, or he was a really handsome zombie, but she didn't consider that possibility right away. As he told her not to scream, she relaxed a bit, lowering her phone a bit...
However, when the next figure came barging in, Poemu's already high tension caused her to fling her wind wildly towards Juana, sending her phone out of her hand, and colliding into one of the walls.
"Where the fuck did you people come from..." Poemu hissed as she composed herself, panting lightly as her heart slowly subsided. Good God, she must've just about had a heart attack with that double-whammy of surprise entrances... But wait, what about the do-
Oh, the second lady was freezing it over. Well, that was nice.
Shocked and awed by the sudden events, Poemu was no longer shrinking within herself, but instead wide-eyed and on edge. The woman asked her if she had a phone, and Poemu was taken aback for a moment. "Ah, um, yeah..." Poemu uttered, gesturing towards the device that had almost been flung right at Juana. She reached over and picked it up, making sure it wasn't too badly damaged. Flip phones were pretty tough, fortunately. "I... Um... Kinda let Heroes know?" Well, she was in the U.A. chat, so that... Kind of counted, right? Besides, she didn't see much point when Heroes were well aware the entire ward was filled with the living dead at this point.
Juana's next choice of action was to pat Poemu on the head and tell her everything was gonna be alright. Which the extremely tense Poemu didn't take to that well, brushing the woman's hand away. "Right, right. Everything's fucked, but sure, it's gonna be just... Dandy. A sunny little zombie apocalypse, hooray..." She blurted out quickly, her voice thick with uncertainty and anxiety.
She glanced at the two people who'd stumbled in again, not sure what to make of them, but gladder to be safe... Only for Poemu to jump again slightly when the sound of a zombie banging on a door was heard once more. Not theirs, fortunately, but still... The thought lead Poemu to voice something aloud.
"Y-You... You think there are, like... Other people, in the other booths?"

First, he entered the closest booth he could find, also meaning he crossed the hallway to make sure that the zombie there wouldn't go look for him first. Slumping down the door he just noticed the girl and asked her not to scream. It looked like she was about to smack him with an old looking phone. Barbaric, those things were heavy! He was glad she seemed to calm down a little but he got bumped forward with the moving of the door and watched her throw it. Great, couldn't Karasu warn him for this silly nonsense? His spirit returned and he side-eyed it and it shrugged, for heaven's sake. He turned to look at the woman that entered and moved further out of her space as she wanted to get to the door and seal it. Well good for her, that meant she was useful. The space in this booth was not that big and they couldn't fight off zombies if it would enter, and how many would enter? He seriously had no idea. He just moved opposite of Poemu and would slide on the bench and just watch.
He flinched a little with the hard second thud of the phone that now fell to the ground. "Be quiet." He hissed to all of them because the thud obviously would go through the hallway of the manga cafe and he did not want any bad attention even if the door was sealed, because who knows how strong that ice was, it was summer after all! He did not want to look at it and see it dripping. "The lobby," He decided to answer Poemu in the effort to try to get her to calm down. Surely it was not his smartest option and he did whisper and look at Karasu for any signs but well, this was all he could do. He wanted to answer that he was trying to find a safe spot until he noticed a zombie opposite him but he decided not to share that information. His attention turned to the woman at the door, almost tempted to roll his eyes, "Because we all have pro-heroes on speed dial?" To be honest, he did, but he was sure Hifumi was busy with this bullshit as well, he should check his phone to see if she had texted him but he looked at the girl on the other side of the table... she did? "Well that's nice, but I am not sure if the bunch of heroes can just sweep in on our rescue, we have to sit tight for a bit, alright?" He glared at the woman and indicated for Karasu (his hand moved below the table) to move and figure things out. "Incoming!" Karasu yelled at him while he watched Juana's way of handling the child. "We are safe here for now and we have-" He stopped talking when he heard the next thud but it wasn't against their door, "and we have time to consider what to do, alright?" He looked from Poemu to Juana, surely this had never been in his history books, so it must be something new, like quirk new?
He wished the woman kept her mouth more closed when it came to the situation, "I do think so, yea." But was it their job to protect them? Maybe they could form a mob and return the power against the undead. Ha, who was he kidding, he had no idea. If only they could get to his store, he would have things... he would know how to hide things. Karasu hopped on his shoulder (still invisible to everyone but Mamoru) and turned to look at him. But he did not want to use the cards that he felt burning in the pocket on his chest. No, there were others here.

The child being frightened threw her phone. Thank goodness she missed Juana, but it hit a wall, which probably attracted some zombies. Juana fought off the urge to facepalm. She walked over to the child to calm it. But it seemed that the child nor the man appreciated her care and reassurement. This is why she isnt a hero. People were bitches and honestly, she should just leave them to die. She would have probably slapped the child to show some respect and appreciation towards her elders. And the man? Well, she did as he said and kept her mouth shut
She took the moment to get up on her feet, cross her arms and look around the area. Turning her eyes, her head to just see what they have in here. Maybe she can use her Quirk to escape?. Maybe she can make some weapons of ice so they can defend themselves. That is if they wanted her help. She could do with a weapon, but left it. She didnt want to overuse her quirk. Besides, its summer. The two couldnt use any ice construct she makes without her power constantly fixing it. So what to do?
She looked at the door. She did freeze it. But lets see, looking at the door and the ice and the room temperature. She did some mental math. She knew that the ice will melt aka shrink at one half inch per hour. They had time. They had all the time. If the structure weakens, she can refreeze it. But she doubted they will stay long, they just needed to do something. But mr. Handsome here doesnt wanna let her speak. Meanwhile he can be mr. Chatterbox. Fine then.
She searched her pocket and found she had lipstick. She rolled up her sleeve, since she didnt have paper nor pen and he didnt want her to speak. So on her forearm, she wrote 'DO YOU HAVE QUIRK? WHAT?' she couldnt write 'what it is', but just what simply because of lack or room. She knew how to be silent. She patted the man on the shoulder and showed her message to him. If he didnt wanna speak. She offered him nonverbally the lipstick and her other arm. So he can write a short answer.

Oh, yeah, the lobby. That made sense.
Not at all the point of Poemu's question, but she didn't bother correcting them, or even think to really. What ever the hell was happening here, she was using all her willpower to even follow along with the events unfolding right in front of her eyes, let alone what led to them. These two weird adults had barged into her little safe room, and she was too busy being frightened to be grateful.
At least the hot guy was seeing how crazy this shit was, pointing out that it was unlikely anyone had Heroes on speed dial. Though, after a moment's thought, Poemu realized that was kind of a thing... That she did have. Well, whatever, as the hot guy pointed out, the fact of the matter was there was no guarantee that they were going to arrive anytime soon, so they had best sit tight for now. "Right, sit tight, cause I was planning on strolling back out into the streets and going for a walk..." Poemu hissed quietly, resorting to sarcasm to try and keep herself sane among all this insanity.
The blonde dude seemed at least to have his head on his shoulders, but Poemu wasn't sure if the same could be said for the woman. She whipped out some lipstick to try and communicate to them that they should share Quirks, and Poemu just scoffed. "Oh, alright, now we're gonna be quiet? The door's fucked anyway..." Poemu whispered in her biting tone. However, what Mamoru said next did bring her back to some level of solemness.
He agreed people were in the other booths. Poemu glanced down at the ground a moment. A quiet, a stillness, washed over her. She raised her head again and sighed.
"Well, OK, you guys seem stupid. So, like, if you do something stupid like try to help, I got my Quirk here. You've already barged the fuck in, guess I'm stick with you." Poemu whispered, pulling up one of her hands and removing the prosthetic fingertip, revealing one of her Flash Drives. She didn't really have time to explain the ins and outs of her Quirk, but hopefully the pair, depending on what they wanted to do next, would be able to infer some plan from the sight alone.

The contradiction of this situation was that he needed to talk to get his point across, so should they but after the blunt hit of the phone against the side of the booth, he wanted them to be quiet. For a while at least, to make sure no one came but Karasu said there was no one paying attention to them, so they could whisper, but try to be hushed. He kept his eyes on the spirit if he wasn't talking to one directly, that was easier but this was a frustrating moment. Luckily the woman had ice powers to lock the room but still, that did not mean they were saved. He needed to think of something but they could not go out and figure out how to get off the zombie apocalypse? He could do a prayer to the Gods but he was sure they were too busy to answer his call, right here and right now. The cynical response from the girl did not face him, that's how he would have answered so he only nodded and said nothing.
He sighed, "I meant quiet so we didn't make more noise after the sound of the phone okay. I didn't mean..." He sighed again, right. This was a great combination, the woman's attitude that she could fix all of this and now was sarcastically using her lipstick to communicate, it was so childish but they needed her if they wanted the door to stay closed safely. "I don't have such a quirk." He lied, the tarot cards burning against his chest as if to let him know that they did not appreciate to be lied about, but also he didn't say he didn't have one. It only did sound like that. "I wish I had a very efficient one right now." he replied to continue his lie but to show he wasn't against quirks, he waved to the ice, that would have been useful or like a fire starter but no he had cards and he did not trust the firepower or the general power of his quirk to fix anything at this moment, he only assumed he would make it worse. Karasu moved around again, there was a zombie incoming and he put his finger against his lips... they would hear the scurry of something outside of their room but nothing tried the door or bumped into their door so that was okay. He felt the spirit take a seat on his shoulder and watch as the girl seemed to explode a little, but again it was exactly how he would react if he was like her so he said nothing about it. Even if she suppose to offend him by calling him stupid. Mamoru looked up at Poemu and thought about it, he wasn't good with the online and all, "Could you hack the system?" Probably so against the rules but if she could, maybe they could control the cameras or something else to distract the zombies or see where everyone else was. Bleh, he needed a girl like her in his shop to learn him the things about the websites and see if he was hack-proof or something.

She was a thief. She stole items, not lives. But these people really make her push her morality. Oh dios. She absolutely hated these two. Couldnt she be stuck with someone else? She crossed her arms and allowed the two to speak, meanwhile she looked at them and listened. The rude girl revealed she had fake fingers and she had... what was the right japanese word? USB or flash drive or USB stick. Well, whatever it was. It wasnt for combat. She then looked at the smarmy man who claims he has a useless quirk. She sighed, so all in all she had the most useful quirk and they diss her? Oh dios... if she wasnt a thief she would have killed them just for being rude to her. She was sure thats something The Painter would have done.
She rested against the wall and watched them communicate. It seems they didnt really wanna work with her. Juana glanced at the door and the structure of the door and then back at the two nincompoops. She decided to speak up since they're all chattery together "Why dont you just fight the horde? We can take them if we organize?" Well, she can take them. She was the only fighter of the group. But any fool can swing a knife around, even if it would be made of ice. Hell, if they were nice to her, she would accommodate them with any icy construct of a weapon they wish, knife, mace, sword, axe or whatever their foolish hearts desire. Any dumb monkey would be able to swing a stick or a melee weapon. So why not strategize that way? What will hacking accomplish? They distract the zombies for a while and then what? They sneak? What do they do if a zombie notices them? Self defence was needed. The best defence was a good ofence. These fools instead cower like ants that they are. "I swear, if they piss me off one more time. I will undo the door and take my chances with the horde. At least I can fight" she thought to herself. Seriously, why must they be so hurtful when all she did was try to help. Fine, if they're gonna be rude, she will be that way as well
