Tetsuko couldn't even begin to think about her confrontation with her Grandfather. All the lies, all the truths, all that had been said and all that had been done... Was all too much for her to think about while it was still fresh in her mind. With a great discomfort, felt right in her gut, she couldn't even begin to address her thoughts on feelings on the matter. Right now, all she could do was move on, and give herself time to think... About what to do next, and who she could turn to.
That was what had her heading over to her family home in Kashima, where two people she cared deeply about currently were. Her mother, who she needed to see to try and discover her own feelings about the family's past, whatever they might be. And her lover, who Tetsuko may well need to lean against in this tumultuous times. Her heat was heavy, and uncertainty plagued her as it always did, but Tetsuko was sure that if she could understand where her past and future lead, she may just be able to come up with something...
At that time, Elise would be over at the Shindou Kashima residence, doing a check-up on her patient, Miku Shindou. Whether it was just a routine check, or an examination for future treatment, Tetsuko didn't know. She just hoped she wouldn't be intruding. Elise would know that Tetsuko had just spoken to her grandfather, but her mother would not...
Arriving at the door to her childhood home, Tetsuko would hesitantly open it, announcing her arrival with a somewhat uncertain look coloring her face.
"I'm home!"

It had been a difficult time, in between the recent events and Tetsuko's struggles to discover the truth behind the Shindou's past and the discovery of her 'reason' to fight, Elise felt troubled. Perhaps it was because she wanted to help her beloved childhood friend, to discover a means to support her and while she knew that for Tetsuko her presence was enough, it still felt insufficient to Elise. That feeling of powerlessness, of essentially feeling useless was a troubling feeling. It reminded her of memories she tried to forget, and instead she had chosen to focus on the other reason she had been at the Shindou residence. After an initial check-up, Elise was seated in a chair near Miku, reading the various statistics she had called forth on her tablet. "The preliminary tests seem to be looking good Miku~" Elise chimed softly, trying to lift her spirits a little as she continued her explanation. "In terms of blood pressure and the usual values things are within the desired parameters. In fact, your physical strength has increased compared to the last tests, you been able to put more pressure in your hands and legs compared to earlier. This is very positive news."
Elise smiled softly at Miku, of course, those results were good news since it meant that Miku was getting more and more suitable to undergo the treatment she had been working on. The treatment, by all means, was not a wonder cure, but it would improve Miku's ability to live more like a normal person, being able to walk again, having more strength in her body was important and as Miku's self-image would improve, it would also improve her speech, she wouldn't be entirely the same as before the accident, but at the very least she'd be able to live more the way she would want to. But the problem was: rehabilitation required an immense amount of effort and willpower, and she needed to make sure Miku was prepared and willing to endure the trialing times that would await her. Yet, as her doctor Elise would support her all the way, especially considering her recovery was a sacred promise she made toward Tetsuko.
"We can discuss the treatment procedures at a later date when you had some time to think about it." Elise spoke once more, kind and considerate when all of a sudden she felt a subtle ripple course through her being, the sound of the door to the residence opening and her lover's voice resounding making Elise hum softly. "I'll go and bring Tetsu here~ I'm sure she will be eager to see you."
Elise stated with a caring smile as she approached the door to Miku's room and then proceeded to walk her way to the entrance of the residence, her smile brightening at the sight of Tetsuko. "Welcome home darling~" Elise chimed happily as she attempted to wrap her arms around Tetsuko in a comforting embrace and give her a gentle peck on the cheek. Afterwards she leaned back and spoke softly. "Let's go to your mother shall we? Physically she is doing well, improving even, I think she'd be able to undergo the treatment soon, but I have some doubts, rehabilitation will require a lot from her, and unless there is a strong resolve..." She shook her head lightly and tried to beckon Tetsuko over. "Mhmm, we can talk about that later~ let's go and see your mom now~"
