LOOK IN MY IRIS AND YOU'LL SEE DEFIANCE
Sunaho was starting to hate the label 'villain'.
Its connotations of pure and nonnegotiable evil aside, the anarchist was getting sick of being lumped in with the same group as some of these assholes. Self-aggrandizing jackasses who loved to get on stage and talk big about chaos, who only wanted control yet mayhem. People without ideals, without awareness. Their schemes only ever served themselves and those who supported them, while those in the dirt continued to suffer like they always did. As far as Sunaho was concerned, if people like Thunder Shock or Ishtar were to succeed in taking over the country, it wouldn't mean shit for those below them.
People who didn't care about the weak were no better than the current overlords. That went for this fucking necromancer too!
"Return to the fucking dust!"
Sunaho's battlecry resounded as she violently swung one of her arms at a zombie's head, her sandy form shaping her hand into a wrecking ball that smashed apart the walking corpse's head. It might not be an ideal way of handling someone's former loved one, but Sunaho had her priorities in protecting the living. This violent opening continued on, her arm swinging back and forth and crushing through the walking dead in front of her.
As for those zombies not within her range, bullets flew through the air, those that struck their heads making the dead dead once more. The guns that had been provided to Sunaho's Dust Devils were paying off quite nicely, though this was obviously far from their intended use.
Behind Sunaho, atop ramparts of furniture, crates and sandbags, these Dust Devils stood, guarding the edge of the low-rise housing projects that the gang was defending. All around the small block, they'd set up these defenses, using Sunaho and her crew to keep any zombies from coming in and doing harm to the residents. Most people who lived were a few steps below the poverty line, and didn't have any good way to keep themselves safe. Which was where they came in.
With one final, violent swing, Sunaho painted the sidewalk with a zombie's skull. A few more shots rang out, finishing the last of this wave. A heavy silence would hang over them for a bit, before it became clear they had a moment's rest. Sunaho let out a sigh, wiped the blood from her brow, and turned back to her Dust Devils.
"Alright, that's it for this wave. Get patched up if you're hurt, restock on ammo, and switch out if you need it. I'm heading in for a bit."
Leaping effortlessly over their blockade with her sandy legs, Sunaho entered into their emplacement proper. Their makeshift ramparts covered the border of the housing block, which featured a central grassy area surrounded by cheap low-rise housing projects, all looking like they could collapse at any moment. Hence the Dust Devils' decision to defend them. Those down in the dirt looked out for each other, after all.
Although the residents had been told to stay inside for the time being, the space was limited, and given that many others had come to take shelter here, a large number of people could be found in the encampments that the Dust Devils had set up, receiving medical aid or trying to kill the time and forget about the chaos going on for the night. There were rudimentary lights and a couple fires, as these lowlives huddled around for warmth, aided by the masked Dust Devils from all around.
One particular devil, a tallish man with a bovine skull mask, approached the bloodied Sunaho with a rag. "At least try to stay a bit clean. As difficult as hygiene might be right now." The green-haired woman, not wearing a mask like her comrades, took the cloth and wiped her face of the zombie blood, before looking around the area at what ne'er do wells had come. She'd put out an open invitation, after all.
"How we looking, Matsuda?"
"Pretty alright. Cops ain't willing to contest with us and the zombies, not that they'd send many to protect this place. Our boys and some volunteers have everything under control. Though we had to stop one from cutting his arm off after it got bit. Ain't those kinda zombies..."
Sunaho huffed in amusement before looking around their little temporary encampment. Not all of those in the projects had been all too happy about their protection, wanting to keep their head out of trouble, but Sunaho was ready and eager to keep them safe however she could. Those in the dirt looked out for each other, after all...
Some had come by to help, some had come for respite. Handing the towel back to Matsuda, Sunaho began wandering through their sheltering encampment, run by these devils, to see who might have joined them...

The silver-haired Quirker looked out at the various other "refugees" that had come to this location, keeping an eye out for anyone wanting to try and cause any trouble with the girls he was protecting. This place these "Dust Devils" were running was definitely far more defensible than the brothel had been, a fact that he had had to point out to the pimp running the place by dangling him over the brothel's rooftop earlier.
Gabriel snorted as he shrugged his shoulders at the memory. The bastard had been the first one to get beaten down by the corpses on the way here, but no tears were lost for his sake. Meant more supplies to go around at least. None of them were going to miss him, bastard had always been taking too much of the girls earnings for his own pockets.
Of course in a crowded place like this, during an apparent zombie apocalypse of all things, there were the odd idiot or three who thought they could try their luck with the girls. "Repopulate humanity... what a load of bullshit." he growled to himself, wondering where he was going to put these severed fingers he'd taken from those foolish enough to ignore the single warning he gave them.
Across the way Gabriel spotted the green hair of the apparent leader of these "Dust Devils", and gave a nod in her direction. She was alright in his books so far, and as far as he was concerned the whole notion of "villains" and "heroes" right now were thrown out the window. Right now they all had to focus on surviving past this till someone took care of that skeleton looking bastard who was behind this whole thing.
Can't very well survive the undead hordes roaming around if you're still trying to do the heroes versus villains shtick. Of course the silver-haired teen wouldn't put it past some of the idiots out there to try and fight a war on two fronts... But for now that wasn't his concern. Right now all he had to focus on was making sure he did his job as protection detail.

What happened? Hell if she knew. Suddenly there were zombies and skeletons it looked like this was the land of the dead. Well, that wont do. Juana couldnt be a thief and she could not fulfil her goal if there ends up being an apocalypse. Luckily this was the real world and not fiction. And luckily. She had a weapon for this occassion. An axe.
In this case, the thief became a vigilante as she went through the streets slicing and dicing any zombie or skeleton she sees. Helping some people on the way to get to safety. Occassionally she'd use her quirk and freeze some zombies in place, and she'd continue to march on. Walking and helping people along the way, she would near the domain of the Dust Devils. But then again, she didnt know that nor who the group was. All she saw was people fighting zombies or helping other people. So she decided to join and help their cause.
She noticed a white hair boy, nodding at someone. Looking in the other direction, she would notice a green haired girl. She had no time to ponder as she focused on the zombies as she sliced them in pieces

Sunaho saw plenty of familiar faces among those who'd taken refuge with the Dust Devils. People they'd helped before, those from the local homeless camps, and some allied gangs of like-minded individuals... Working-class people who agreed with what they did, and various other lowlives that didn't, but were always happy to find some for of safety in these uncertain times. Aside from the familiar faces, Sunaho also spotted a few unfamiliar. Which was to be expected, given how many had come here out of desperation more than anything else...
One young man that looked her way stood out somewhat, with that silver hair of his. After a moment's thought, Sunaho recalled something that Matsuda had said about a group of working girls who'd taken refuge, and were being harassed by some of the more belligerent men, who were fortunately warded off by a young man with silver hair. Well, Sunaho supposed he certainly fit the bill, and she was interested in getting a feel for the attitude anyway, so she approached the man with a curious look.
"Hey there, Devil. You the guy who's been looking after those girls?" Sunaho would greet, giving a half grin and a confident look. "Glad to see it. Last thing we need is opportunists. You or them need any help, let me or my boys know." The gang leader offered. Her Devils weren't always the most eloquent group of people, but she'd made sure they were thoughtful. Or, at the very least, gave a shit about other people. However, after giving her greeting, Sunaho did realize something. "Ah, introductions. I'm Sunaho, head of these misfits. Thanks for comin' by and helping us take shelter from the end of the fucking world." The green-haired woman chuckled, still a bit tickled by how ridiculous this all was. Tokyo was a weird fucking city these days...
She cast her gaze outwards, looking over the group of refugees and towards one of the fences for holding back the zombie hordes. Out there was some crazy woman, past the barriers that they'd set up, using an axe of all things. "What the hell..." Sunaho muttered at first, half-grinning. She was enthusiastic, at least.
"Hey, Crazy Axe-lady. If you're gonna fight 'em from that side of the fence, at least make sure to wash up. All that blood and guts ain't sanitary."

Gabriel raised an eyebrow and gave a snorting chuckle at the green-haired girls greeting. "Haven't been called Devil since leaving home." he remarked before nodding. "But aye, that's me. And I think letting us all crash here during this mini-apocalypse helps out enough." said the silver-haired teen before a slight cough from one of the girls, a blonde, caught his attention.
"Umm... Well..." she said, Gabriel blinking a couple of times before he understood the unspoken message. "Ah..." he mused, rubbing the back of his head. He turned his attention back to Sunaho. "Doubt the boys would be able to help with this but err... certain supplies might be handy. We kinda had to leave in a rush..." he suggested, his cheeks turning slightly pink at the detail.
He cleared his throat and tried to recover some semblance of being a stoic bodyguard figure, fat chance of that happening. "Gabriel Creed. And if you need anything to help out for helping out, just ask." said Gabriel, returning the introduction. His eyes turned to follow where Sunaho was looking, raising an eyebrow at a brown haired woman hacking away at the undead with an axe. "And this apocalypse has just turned Grimm." he mused, chuckling at his little joke with wordplay.

She looked at the woman as she spoke to her. Crazy axe lady? Ah well... fair. She could get carried away. But now was not the time. She didnt get warmed up to go to crazy axe mode. "Noted!" she told the green hair woman. And then used her quirk to freeze a few zombies in their tracks, so she could join the living.
Considering that she was on the other side of the fence, Juana decided to get creative. Her axe had a long handle. And Juana had distance. She ran towards the fence and used the axe as a pole. A dangerous pole, but a pole nontheless. She pole vaulted or pole jumped over the fence and landed on the side where possible allies were.
She looked at everyone and then tried to tidy up her hair "Ah, right. Apologies for the little mess" she spoke, and they could hear her spanish accent. "The zombie apocalpyse took me by surprise. If I was more prepared I would have been more presentable" she spoke to the two. She did though miss their introductions so she did not know their names. The white hair guy told her something before, but she didnt get the reference. Maybe a cultural thing. Ah well
