Nightmares once in a while end, the cloud of the darkness of the fog and the pain would disappear. A little over a year ago she managed to get away from the first nightmare, the cloud of the darkness was not immediately lifted but at least something happened. Sunlight came through the clouds and she knew there were better times ahead. But that did not mean that the dwelling did not take its time. It took her months to realize that she had been overtaken by the darkness, that he lied to her, stole her money and that she had been... she gritted her teeth while standing on her balcony as she remembered the word... Naive. Surely Serperior was right and she knew the case with Oz. He stole her money, said he didn't but tried to get more and more money from the casino while working them more in a debt. Their apartment so small, that they, so-called, stored her paintings in the little shed but he sold them for whatever decent price he could get to buy new alcohol and new money for the casino. Until she finally realized they were sort of crippling themselves and there was no way out. Nothing, she had not seen it, nothing had reached her and nothing showed her because she did not want to see. Until he got more violent, hit her to get the money, smacked her, hurt her, everything for their sake and she wanted to try until... until they told her it was not right.
She had to give up, she had to be strong enough to let go. But she couldn't even get out of the home without them fighting, without the support of the others, she would be nowhere. She would be stuck there and yet so many things... always seemed to return to her. Her phone screen was already black, like the cloud she used to be in before, but that did not change. Nothing in the end changed, did it? It seemed that every time, everything would keep on haunting her. She had to get her stuff and she would turn back inside, make sure everything was fine inside. Texting Giovanni that she had to go to Tokyo and will be back later, a sort of back up system for her mind. Knowing there was someone else out there who cared about her and that this was just a nightmare that would be over by tonight when she returned. This was a lie, but she had seen it, she heard it on the news and everything. The graves turned up empty and she did not want to think which sicko would even think or consider digging up graves. It has almost been a year, how far was the state of decay for her ex-boyfriend Oz. What to consider to do, his body was gone. The police called her to confirm as his family lived up in Japan and had not changed the location of the graveyard to closer to them, she still did not get why but she did not question something about strange religion, something about the part of his life. But that meant that only for his dear old mother she would try and spot it. She would not have to hide her identity from the police officer that she had a meeting with and she showed up in an easy jacket and her hair tied up, in the strange summer weather of Japan at this point. She looked at the rough dug up at the cemetery. "Any clues?" She asked, coldly as this wasn't part of her job and she did not want to consider. She had been the one to identify him. His leg had been gone below the knee, there was a bullet wound in his forehead. They had no ideas and the bullet was too generalized without the weapon, so there was nothing to say. She confirmed it had been him, strange to see the man like that and yet feel nothing. Surely at that point, she had been afraid, angry that she was the one that caused it but no longer did she think that way. There was nothing to consider, nothing to know and she did not know what to say.
The bodies weren't random or were they? It seemed to be not one after the other, just randomly dug up in places, all over Tokyo and Japan. That felt like not random at all, that they looked for specific people but it was her paranoia, she was sure of that. This meant something was coming and yet she couldn't get that concept in her mind. She stared at the headstone, the text his mother made felt so out of context for that man. "It was here and now it's empty, nothing is left, nothing was discussed." She turned around and marched off the grounds of the cemetery. She wanted out of here, maybe to contact Jessie and see what she would say but Nimue wasn't sure if she wanted to bother her about this, and if it worked that way. She did not say anything. She would just leave, with a silent nod they both agreed it was strange but she only came for confirmation that it was there and it was that person. But the more she thought about it, the more it started to worry her. She had heard this quite late and when she turned to the stairs of the hospital, she heard a particular beep on her phone. She looked around but there was no one close by her and she opened the chat for pro-heroes and stared at it. She turned her heel, "Turn on the television." She told the girl behind the desk to see what was going on, and there it was clear as day. well not really, there was no explanation, no anything. What would she do with that? Some of those people apparently were presumed to be dead and that meant what? How could they be here? Another new quirk?
