After Jaison had finally finished assisting with the plaza and meeting some new class mates he decided he needed to continue his shopping; his new room wasn't going to decorate itself right? So he continued upon the shopping district in search of some cool decorations; he wanted some boss style posters to add to his collection, maybe some here memorabilia? Hmm, who's famous in this country? I should probably do a bit of research in that regard so I have something to talk about with the guys at the dorm. Don't want to be a foreigner that doesn't know a thing now do I?
His stroll brought to a rather large shopping area, he put his phone up to try and get a good translation on some of the outlets; not speaking the language was a bit challenging, but his phone had plenty of life in it to keep him going so this wasn't the worst possible way to find his way around. Thats a clothing outlet, that's basically a hobby shop... he continued scanning the signs until he came upon one. He heard J-pop blaring from within, and the style of clothing reminded him of a place he ran into in practically every mall in america back home. That's like a hot topic! he put his phone down and rushed inside eagerly.
Sign by flow was playing in the background; edgy style clothing was hung on racks in every direction, even some american super hero though comic book oriented were hung on the walls as well, and lastly just what he was looking for! Some posters! Though he didn't recognize the faces of some of the people on it, he could always do the research on their reference later. Though for now he continued around the store looking for item after item with the money his parents gave him.

| ◀ | Prezioso fascio di gioia ❤ As much as she usually did not like to go out much, the fact was that Ingrid needed to go buy stuff. Mostly clothes, as her current ones were getting a bit old. Wanting their little bundle of spaghetti to become more independent, her parents refused to buy these necessities for her. Ingrid would have to go out and buy it herself. Boo! What a bummer!
So after changing into one of the few outfits that was still relatively new and intact, Ingrid reluctantly headed out to the shopping district. Fortunately, it was not too far from where she lived, so walking there was not too much of a pain. Plus, it would do the slightly lazy girl good to walk a bit every once in a while. At least the girl had her headphones to listen to music so she would not die of boredom.
Upon heading inside, Ingrid rolled her eyes as she heard the music in the place playing. Eh, it's not bad, but this Japanese stuff is a far cry from the tunes back home. The girl then played a random song on her playlist of classic Italian music and turned the volume of her headphones way up in an attempt to drown out the sounds from the shop.
Ooh, I like this t-shirt! So pretty! Ingrid's eyes widened and lit up upon seeing a cool-looking shirt. It was a plain black shirt with a green kaiju on it and the words Kamirex written in a sick-looking font. Walking around the store, Ingrid began picking up more and more stuff. Shirts, sweaters, hoodies, and more. Soon, her arms were filled with stuff. It was getting a bit hard to carry everything in just her arms alone. Eh, I should have grabbed a basket to carry all this in. Time to go grab one now!
But between carrying so much stuff, listening to music, and just being absentminded in general, Ingrid was not really paying much attention to where she was walking. And so she ended up accidentally bumping into someone. "Ah!" Crashing down on the floor, Ingrid quickly began scooping up everything she had carried up in her hands. Normally, she would have glared at whoever got in her way, telling them to watch where they were going, and in a rude tone too. But this was all Ingrid's fault. The girl may be childish at times, but she knew when to take responsibility.
"Ah, I'm so sorry there!" Ingrid looked at the guy she had bumped into, chuckling nervously as she continued picking up her things off the floor and trying to not look like a careless and clumsy idiot. "My bad! I should have totally watched where I was going! Whoops! Are you alright? I didn't crash into you too hard, did I?"

Jaison was so lost in his own shopping that he wasn't paying much attention either; when he was bumped into he stumbled back dropping the array of posters he had grabbed previously but managed to latch onto something as to keep himself upright instead of falling straight to the ground unlike the poor girl that bumped into him. He shook it off none the less, but it took him a moment to realize that he had dropped all of his things among her as well. He could be such an air head at times...
Kneeling down beside her. No No it's fine really! he would say reaching for some of her shirts to help her out, she had WAAAAAAY more things than he did so he could see how the mistake happened; and it wasn't anything to get upset over. He took a look at some of the shirts she picked up, she had some good tastes; he decided silently, but trying not to pry he handed them over to her with great haste and helped her back to her feet once they were done; and bundled his posters between the pits of his sweat shirt, careful not to crumble them.
That's a nice Kaiju shirt by the way. he would remark once they were back on their feet, I don't know much about them but I was looking to get into it once I had the time to finally watch T.V. he would chuckle nervously trying to break the ice; small talk was not his strong suit, heck he wasn't even sure if he should be having small talk or if the girl wanted to simply be on her way after the small endeavor. Suddenly however he felt a chill, and would have a noticeable shake in front of her as his wrist was exposed to the brisk air conditioning of the store.
He covered his wrist once more and tried to kick the slight tremor. Sorry, me and air conditioning don't uh...don't mix well...Ehem... he cleared his throat, this was awkward.

| ◀ | Prezioso fascio di gioia ❤ Gosh, I'm so reckless! Ingrid wished she did not draw attention to herself like this. It was pretty embarrassing. Especially after constantly being scolded by her parents about her absentmindedness and carelessness. At least the guy seemed cool about it. That was good. He was even kind enough to help her with her things. Considering the frequency of either indifferent and outright rude people Ingrid often had to deal with, this kindness was very much appreciated. She gave the guy a cheery smile, remembering to bow as well. "Thank you so much!"
Once back on her feet and her stuff back in her arms, Ingrid decided to stick around and see what this guy had to say. Normally, the girl would have no qualms with just walking off, especially if someone was being unpleasant to her. But seeing this guy being nice, the girl decided to give him a chance. It would be rude to ignore someone who wasn't a mean piece of garbage. Plus, the place was a bit crowded, so she would have to stand around and do nothing anyway if she were to try to get in line now. May as well make the most of her time here and enjoy a chat.
"I know, right? I'm so glad I found this one! And same. I didn't know much about em when my family first moved to Japan, but I'm a fan now. This country sure does have a bunch of neat things!" Ingrid was not exactly the best at small talk either, but at least she was enthusiastic when talking about things that interested her.
Noticing the shake, Ingrid listened as the guy explained he didn't mix well with air conditioning. "Oh, no worries there. Nothing wrong with that. Not everyone's a fan. I'm honestly not a huge fan either, unless it's like a really hot summer day or something. The only other time I go anywhere near an air conditioner is if it's broken and I'm in the mood to fix it." Ingrid chuckled. "Probably doesn't sound very exciting, but I like tinkering with stuff. Building things and taking them apart is really fun!"
The girl wondered if she was being boring. But hey, this is far more effort than she usually put in a typical conversation. "What about you? Anything you like to do?" Conversations were not nearly as fun if they were one-sided. Plus, Ingrid was a bit curious. Would he answer? How much would he say?

Your very welcome Jaison would reply to her thank you. Glad that she stuck around to have a conversation; he hadn't had the chance to meet very many people since he had gotten here, but was humbled to know that she accepted his compliment about the shirt. Bonus, she wasn't from around here either, which noticeably he would shake his head at in surprise. This could be a good opportunity, at least now he didn't feel so out of place about being a foreigner in this country; seems it had a way of attracting all of manner of people to it. Is she a student too? he wondered silently. Yea this place does have a lot. he agreed Where are you from if you don't mind me asking? I'm from America myself; a town called Ypsilanti, Michigan.
He was glad his minor shakes didn't give off the wrong impression; he knew from past social interactions that they could be kind of awkward to witness; and would give a chuckle thinking that she was making puns with the comments about not being a fan, and if she only knew; but he kept those personal details to himself not wanting to over share; though as she went on into the details of her own hobby about how she liked fixing things, he would find that on the fascinating side; he only wished he was that handy himself. That's pretty cool. Maybe you could fix *cough* dismantle *cough* the one in my dorm room. he joked, that wouldn't be good for the rest of the students, not to mention he would probably be held responsible for its damages and repair fees which wasn't something he wanted to have on his conscious.
I'm not a handy man that's for sure. he started. Personally I enjoy site seeing, hence why I'm walking around here. After I moved here I decided I was gonna get the most out of it, such a different atmosphere than what I'm accustomed to. Hold on... noticing that the line was ever growing he didn't want her to continue having to stand there with all that stuff in her arms so he walked off for a moment to get her a basket and try to avoid another incident of her falling and having to pick it up all over again. Here you go. he'd say as he handed it over. Hopefully the Hero course gives me a chance to see more during my tenure their. he said deciding to gauge weather she was a student or not herself.

| ◀ | Prezioso fascio di gioia ❤ Ingrid listened as the guy explained where he was from. "Ooh, I haven't met an American yet! What's it like over there?" Ah, but first, she would answer his question. Would be very rude not to. "I'm from Italy! My family and I moved here from Venice a bit over a year ago. Well, we call it Venezia, but Venice is the English name." Japan did have so many wonderful sights, but to the Italian girl, nothing could compare to home sweet home. She was curious about what the guy's home was like, though. Ingrid had never really heard much about America besides the memes and small tidbits online.
The girl grinned at the guy's joke. "Sounds like a fun time. I wouldn't mind, actually. Tho I might get bored and end up rebuilding it as a robot or something!" Sometimes, she would actually do that. Like, why fix a broken TV when she could improve it and make a robot TV that fired lasers or something? Calm down! Ingrid thought to herself. Best not to go crazy with ideas right away.
Ingrid continued to listen. So this guy was more of a sightseer. She could understand how he felt. Japan was certainly much more different than Italy, but it did have its own undeniable appeal. Ingrid remembered being amazed when she first moved to Japan. Everything felt wondrous. She just wanted to go see everything, go everywhere. Not as much nowadays as she had time to adjust. Still, she did not mind seeing the sights once more.
But first, Ingrid saw as the boy went off to get a basket for her. She smiled cheerfully when he came back. "Oh, you're so sweet! Thanks!" This definitely made things so much easier. As nice as this conversation was, Ingrid was not too eager to bump and crash into anyone else today. Stuffing all her things into the basket, Ingrid then continued listening to the nice guy.
Of course, it did not take very long for Ingrid to pick up on a certain fact. "Ooh, are you a- oh whoops, sorry." The girl often got excited, but seeing what the guy just said, she thought it was probably for the best to not raise her voice too much. Would not be good to draw much attention to the fact that this guy went to UA. Could be dangerous if the wrong people were around. Still, with how crowded the store was getting, the chances of getting overheard was virtually zero. Still, best to play it safe for now.
"But seriously tho..." Ingrid now spoke in a much quieter voice, though still loud enough to be heard no problem. "You go to UA? That is awesome! I wish I could go there! Sadly, I think my family moved here a bit too late. I'm just barely too old to enroll now, which is just a major bummer! Plus, my quirk is pretty weak and unsuited for hero stuff anyway." Both were lies, naturally. But of course, there was no way Ingrid could ever tell anyone the truth. At least not without bending and twisting it a bit.
And it was then that the girl realized something. "Wow, I can't believe I forgot to introduce myself! Where are my manners? My name's Ingrid. Ingrid Fabbri." Seeing as the girl kept her civilian life and her villain persona as far apart as possible, she saw no harm in giving him her real name. It was not like anyone could deduce the truth. "Nice to meet you!" Unsure of whether to bow politely like the Japanese did or to just offer a friendly handshake, Ingrid decided to do both at once. Better to look silly than to look rude, after all!

Italy? Wow I'm not the only one a long way from home! She would notice a smile widen in the most intriguing way across Jaison's face, home maybe where the heart was for Ingrid but Jaison loved hearing about other places and cultures; and here he was gaining insight to yet another, the italian one; and yet she wanted to know about his as well. America...is not everything it's portrayed. he chuckled, But it doesn't have a lot of great things and people, I myself and from one of it's lesser known parts in a hand shaped state. he put his hand up to further show this fact, then shivered as the air conditioning hit the inner parts of his sleeve again and he quickly lowered his hand.
Though as she expressed that she may go a little crazy with the air conditioner and turn it into a robot he tilted his head; Can...can you really do that? Is that a quirk thing or are you just that smart? he was actually really interested to know, she may have been quirk less for all he knew.
When she thanked him for bringing back the cart he blushed beneath his melanin and held up his hand It's nothing really. Then he noticed the excitement in her tone to ask about UA before she reeled it back in and watched her tone in doors; giving him the hint that she herself wasn't a student. Darn, was hoping I met a classmate. Oh well, at minimum I may have found someone to hang out with during my down time. It was sad to hear as she continued on that she made it here too late to enroll; he hadn't realized the school had an age deadline, granted he didn't know much about it outside of the placement exam that he took, heck he hadn't even had his first class yet. I just passed the exam a couple of days ago; haven't even had orientation yet. he shrugged. Don't say that about yourself, I'm pretty sure your quirk would do just fine, my dad always said it's not the quirk its the user. Not wanting her to be down about herself, after all her quirk was a part of who she was; and with a mind that could possibly engineer a robot who knows what could have been.
Then when she introduced herself, he couldn't believe that he hadn't already done so either. Seeing her bow and offer her hand out he gave a slight laugh, but followed suit quickly. Jaison Jorda...oops... his hand would bump hers from the awkward bow and shake combination; but he would quickly rise to fix the situation and give a proper shake. Jaison Jordan. Good to meet you Ingrid
He would look over and notice the line moving up and gesture out of her way while saying So I've got a bit of time left; you've been around here for a while, wanna show me a good spot for something to eat once we check out? I'm famished.
