Character: Tsutsuji Hachi
Starting Prompt: After being maimed and left in a vulnerable state, Hachi suddenly finds herself caring for a very young child--Shiloh Dubois--and seeks out a safer environment to raise him. In the process she winds up with two more children in her care--the Atkinson brothers--and Tobias Murakami as her roommate co-parent. All seems well. But after learning of the boys' past abandonment and losses and looking over her past near-misses, she begins to re-evaluate the path she's put herself on, and whether or not she needs to be a "Pro Hero" to keep saving people's lives.
Story Beats: Hachi begins questioning her place in the system. She eventually comes to the conclusion that she does not need to continue to be a pro to help others, and begins working on founding a hero organization where she can help without being in direct danger. In doing so can keep herself out of harms way and in the lives of those she loves.
NPCs Involved: Probably a few high-ranking PSC Operatives, near the end.
End-Goal: Hachi retires from being a Pro Hero and becomes a Government-Assigned Civilian.
Notables: This will lead to the creation of a hero group, so once that has IC reason for existing, it'll be put up in the factions/clubs page--that will need accepting before the plot can progress at that point.
This Saga coincides with Elena Strike 's own and needs to be concluded for theirs to reach completion due to both of them being my (Keiran's) characters, and having two characters on the hero list is against the rules. Once Hachi has retired from heroism Elena will take her spot on the list, so this saga will have to end before that one can. Elena will be changing to a sidekick, with a future saga to become a hero. Thus hers and Hachi's won't overlap--Hachi will have retired well before Elena becomes a hero herself.
