It was a momentous day today. As on this day the Storm Knights will receive a new member among their ranks. The group has went through thick and thin. With their latest trial being Plutocracy, fighting Mars's moons. They had casualties. Casualties as injuried, no deaths. Thank goodness. Altough Elena did scare the fuck out of him. G would hug Elena the next time he sees her. But he predicts she's probably a bit too fragile for his hug. Not to mention jumpy. She might punch him so hard it would break his jaw or knock out a tooth. Well in time he will see. He sent a text.
The text was calling up for this meeting today. Which was a celebration and an... initiation? A welcome? To their newest member. He even got some food and snacks and drinks. And dont worry Kenshin, it wasnt all alchohol. G made sure to have sodas or orange juice for a minor like you.
This may not be Elena level of cooking and culinary arts. But it was something.
Now it was just a matter of people arriving. Their fearless leader knew when to appreciate the group. It didnt have to be a meeting of doom and gloom every time. They all needed something nice every once in a while

She was wearing just a simple black shirt and a black pair of jeans but wore one of his hoodies with the skull symbol on the back. So that they could know she was his. But that did not stop her from pouting and feeling uncomfortable in the oversized hoody that she was wearing now. They had come before trying to get everyone to come to them at the base and she stood in the back, looking around as last time she had no time for it. Surely she had met part of the crew before, but they were people she liked and trusted. That did not mean they would be happy with the question if she would join or not. She just... she just wanted to do something, be helpful and be less scared, be more into the known so she could help and be there... how often had she thought that in the last minute? Fifteen times now? Her hair was up in a ponytail and she was wearing her glasses, albeit it was the ones with Fix his work in it but still there were prescription glasses within the frame so it was just that as well. Would Elena kill her? She had not been able to give a reaction about it before and Hanako was so nervous for her best friend's reaction. She did not want to be at the front line or anything just help and be in the background. She learned first aid to help G when he got in trouble, so she could do that for the others too.[break][break] She fumbled with the hem of his hoodie, would Kenshin be okay with it? God, that first meeting was probably the most awkward meeting she would have in her life at this point. Or maybe that was the one with her ex-boyfriend again after the info had been spilt, god what a pathetic human being had she been at that point. "You think they will ask about a quirk or so?" Was that like one of the necessary features that vigilantes wanted and with that specifically the Storm Knights? Would they be okay with a reliable (that's how she viewed herself) information source? She could always just give it to G if they did not trust her and he would ask her behind the scenes but what if it became an issue? She really did not want to make an issue but this was a start, she would just ask or actually G would ask and she would wait, fumbling with herself, not being able to show herself from her best side and just looking at G. "You sure this is okay?" This was his territory and she was sure he wanted them to work together but would he mean this specifically? Did she not come too close, would he honestly tell her again? It was nerve-wracking let it already be over, please? That was all she asked for right now. So, a new member, huh?
It had been so long. So long since the Storm Knights had first formed. So much had happened. It amazed Kenshin just how long he had been part of the group. He remembered having his doubts of ever teaming up with anyone before the Storm Knights were a thing. The boy had always fancied himself as a lone wolf, a solitary soldier. Not that he ever refused to work alongside others. However, he had certainly not expected to not only join a group of vigilantes, but also become quite attached to the lot. But here he was now, in a group of crime-fighting badasses. A group he saw as a second family of sorts.
Not that he would ever admit it out loud.
And as it turned out, the Storm Knights would be welcoming a new addition to the family. Kenshin looked forward to seeing just what the new member would be like. Sure, there were some that the boy was less than fond of (no names needed, they know who they were), but there were also some Kenshin got along well with. Where on the scale would the new person fall under? Not that it really mattered. Kenshin cared less about how someone acted and more about how hard someone would fight to protect the innocent. At the end of the day, that was what mattered, and that was why Kenshin could tolerate every member of the Storm Knights regardless of his opinion of them.
Arriving at the place, Kenshin looked around, greeting the Storm Knights with a simple "Yo!" as he walked inside. His eyes then fell on the newest recruit. His eyes widened. He already knew who this was. Even if he couldn't see her face, the hoodie was pretty much a dead giveaway.
Hanako?!
It was certainly surprising to see the lady here of all places. Surprising, but not unpleasant. If G believed that it was fine for her to be here, then Kenshin would be fine with it too. After all, the two clearly trusted each other. It was alright. Did this mean that she would be kicking ass alongside the other vigilantes? Probably not, but the thought of seeing the woman beat the shit out of a criminal was humorous. She could probably do that for real, but there was probably more to Hanako being here than just that.
"Hey. Good to see you here." Fortunately, Kenshin had the sense to not say Hanako's name aloud. He had no idea if she was fine with the other Storm Knights knowing who she was, and it was best to not risk anything. But that did beg the question: What alias would she go with here? It would certainly be interesting to find out.

Hana asked G will they ask about a Quirk. He replied "The homies I like wont ask you. The rest of the dumbasses.... well... I cant never tell it with the dumbasses. But, I wouldnt worry in your place. Also dont worry if anyone likes you or not. Most of them are just edgelords trying to be too cool for school" She then asked something else. Asking him if he was sure this is ok. G wholeheartedly said "Of course it is! And if I think its ok. Its ok. My rule is law here. Also I invited some associates here. Like honorary Storm Knights but not really Storm Knights. Other people with your ex- position. Dont worry. They're less edgy and more silly. Pretty decent people" he told Hana
Soon G heard an ever so famliar "Yo!" it turned out Kenshin had arrived. G greeted the younger Vigilante "Yo!" and waved to him and offered him a brofist, but Kenshin was a true bro.
G waited for other Storm Knights to arrive, but they hadnt. His other crew though, has arrived. The first one was Jinx. His had the same skull motif as G. The young boy that was at Kenshins age while he was a young Vigilante, looked a hella lot more villanous than Kenshin did. The byo had a white hat with black skull eyes on it. A black bandana with two white skull teeth at the top of it, that continued the hats skull motif. It covered his face. His shirt was what Hana already saw on Miku. A black sleeveless shirt with a white X on it that symbolized crossbones. The skull necklace that Miku had was though worn around the waist as a loose belt. He had black pants, black socks and white shoes. Also black gloves that had skeleton hands pattern on it "Sup" he said cassually as he arrived The 2nd arrival was Reaper who had a similar look to Jinx. The more striking thing about him was the dyed blue hair. He also looked around Miku's age "Yo Boss!" he more eagerly greeted "Yo!" G greeted back Another kiddo arrived, who again had the similar costume motif, but had black hair, glasses that kinda gave him a nerdier look and was a bit itsty bitsy bit more timid "Hello"And well, so it repeated a few times where another boy arrived, darker skin and was also pretty chill with all things and greeted everyone "Yo!" he also had a mouse on his shoulder a few mice following him around. And then one taller boy that had a wolf mutation arrived as well and casually greeted the crew Then arrived a girl with brown hair that also dressed like the boys and greeted everyone like a tomboy would. And lastly a girl with pink hair arrived who dressed just like Miku. And she immediatelly ran over to G and hugged him "Boosss!!"G slowly just.... pushed her away so she wouldnt hug him,he was more annoyed with her "Yeah yeah hi"And seeing as the Storm Knights werent here, but just Kenshin. G decided to continue with his plan "Okay! Dudes and dudettes listen up! On this momentous day Storm Heart" motions towards Hana "becomes a Storm Knight"The young crew give Hana and applause "The big boy crew that is the Storm Knights accept her as she has proven time and time again to be an asset to our cause. So today we celebrate her success. Drinks and snacks are here for you. Well... minus the adult drinks that apparently go to Storm Heart and me, since you're all... kids"G thinks to himself "hoo boy, I did NOT bring enough juice. I expected like 1 or 2 skull peeps and like majority of adult Storm Knights"He turns to Hana "Do you have a rousing speech to give~ It doesnt have to be formal. Be as casual as you want. Yourself." he then turns at Kenshin "After that, I can introduce you all" |

Though they clearly discussed her limits and his limits, it felt like a step too far, too dangerous, too everything and she would just keep standing there, hiding in his hoodie but feeling so small and fragile. Elena wasn't here and maybe Elena wouldn't show up because she did not agree and that would make matters worse, she did not know what to do about it at all. What could she do, how would people react, it was so tiring. Tiring to consider it all too much and so on. She knew he invited everyone from the storm knights to come and meet a new member but still, she wondered if this really was okay. It would be nice if she would stop doubting G for a second because it wasn't him she doubted... it was her own safety and stuff. She felt really helpless but she would try and she noticed Kenshin and that he came over to her and she gave him a weak smile and a little wave. She tried to focus on his face, he smiled and did not seem to be grumpy or dark about the idea that she was here so she gave a better smile, "Hey," God she needed to work on remembering names, "Glad you say so." She fumbled with her hands that were hidden in the long sleeves of G's hoodie. Oh well.[break][break] She was sure that there should be a worry about having a question about a quirk because even G had been focused on it before and he had her asked what her quirk was. Believing that quirkless could not love or like him and she bit her lip when she turned to him from Kenshin and wondering if he would introduce her and she was still not sure. She knew he was the big boss here and she was only an honorary member and that was all fine with her but she wanted him to hold her, but well the big boss obviously could not show that weakness to the rest right? She would thus at this point stay close to Kenshin because he was the only face familiar in this crowd and she hated that. Where was Elena? Where was James, even though he shouldn't be here but it would have been better, she almost pouted but managed to keep her face neutral. Her hair, hidden under the hoodie was blonde. She wanted to try to keep at least some disguise in it, and not be recognized immediately as G's wife later. Unless he would say so himself. So many others showed up that seemed to idolize G and his symbols, that was also on this hoodie, so she said nothing and just watched them all arrive. She squinted when the pink-haired girl came over to hug him and she didn't like her for sure.[break][break] She tried to puff out her chest a little and look more secure about herself and lowered the hoodie and showed her face with the glasses Fix once made for her, she wanted to show the arrogance but she didn't feel it, so it felt impossible and her eyes looked shortly to Kenshin and she was glad G managed to not say her new alias wrong. She looked surprised from Kenshin to G when he said the alcohol was going to them as the other ones were all kids and she looked them all up and down again. She stared only back at Gil when he asked her for a speech, really? She had like no words. "Ehm... eh.. thanks for having me?" Was all she could say and she felt even more horrible thanks to that. As more people arrived, Kenshin noticed three things. First, they were all seemingly around his age. That was a bit humorous in the fact that there were too many adult drinks but not enough 'kid-friendly' drinks. Second, they all were dressed similarly to G, with the black clothes and skull and crossbones motif. It made Kenshin stick out like a sore thumb, seeing as he was the only one here without such clothes. Note to self, Kenshin thought to himself. Ask G or Kumoko to get me clothes like this so I can match everyone else in case this happens again so I don't feel left out. Almost feels awkward with how much I stick out. I guess my hair matches the colors, at least?
And finally, the third and most surprising thing. None of the other Storm Knights made it. Were they all busy? Well Blue Blitz not being here was understandable, considering what had happened to her. But what about the others? Kenshin decided not to question it too much. They were all either busy with their own thing, or perhaps had their own reasons. Oh well.
Anyway, it was time to hear the man speak up and introduce the newest member of the Storm Knights. Storm Heart, eh? Kenshin smiled as he joined the others in applause. Pretty fitting name for you. If G was the soul of the group, then Hanako would be fitting as the heart.
Speaking of Hanako, G asked her if she had a speech to give. Kenshin wanted to give it a listen. And then she spoke. Not much, but that was fine. Not everything needed to be hour long speeches. Sometimes, short and sweet were sufficient. After she was finished, Kenshin spoke. "It's an honor and pleasure to have you here with us. I'm looking forward to working with you, Storm Heart." A thumbs up and a smile of encouragement. It wasn't much, but sometimes it wasn't necessary to do or say much. Kenshin was not worried about Hanako. The boy had no doubt that the lady would be just fine here.
And with that done, Kenshin looked around at some of the others here. He was curious to get to know them, as allies of G were allies to the boy as well. How did they meet the man? What kind of tasks were they usually assigned? The boy looked forward to working with all members of the Storm Knights, both old and new. The group was like another family.

Hana had a relatively brief speech, G applauded it nevertheless and soon the youngsters picked up his pace and did so as well. G was happy to see Kenshin was welcoming and reliable. He really was a great guy. And with that he let everyone mingle
"So. The speechess were done. The applause and all that jazz. Its official that our Storm Heart is a Storm Knight. You're all free to mngle and have fun"
And with that the youngsters did. G did quickly add "DONT be too loud too", the youngsters listened to him. G then looked at Hana and smiled. He held her hand and gave her a squeeze as he wanted to respect her secret and not show too much affection. He then gently spoke to her "Feel free to relax. Find a place to sit. And claim a room that wasnt taken. Dont worry, you're safe here" he told her quietly and reassured her everyone was good and everything is fine. No need for worry and fear. He then told her that he will introduce the others
He then went to Kenshin
"Sup dawg. I guess you're surprised by my visitors. I surmised the Storm Knights wouldnt come, so I invited my pseudo storm knights. Skull Fam." he then made sure to present everyone. So both Kenshin and Hana would know who's who
"Blue hair guy is Reaper. His Quirk lets him emit poison smoke" he said and soon Reaper introduced himself "Yo!"
"Pinky girl with the rain cloud over her head is Scythe. Her Quirk is... well you can see, she can make rain" he said and Scythe was looking bummed out with a litteral rain cloud over head. It was the girl Hana did not like
"The one with the mouse on his shoulder is Mowdown. He can control rodents, so mice and rats. Think of his Quirk like Crowley, but replace the crows with mice and other rodents" and soon Mowdown waved at them
"The nerdy guy with the glasses is Mr. Big Box. He can make copies of objects. Kind of like a living photocopier, just not limited to printing stuff on paper. So item replication"
"Hello" he said, he was less gangsta than others and well, more polite or nerdy as G said
"The obvious wolf mutation is Jaws. He has a hard time intimidating people even if he is a wolf"
"I'm not a puppy, s'not cool that people think Im a cute puppy" he said as he added onto G's intro
"The one with the gloves is called Jinx. His Quirk is a mess and he cant control it. So best avoid any skin contact. Thats why he wears the gloves" G said
Jinx meanwhile was just trying to pour himself some juice
"And lastly there's the tomboy. Skelly. She's.. she's a lightning rod. Thats her entire quirk. She attracts the zaps and it dont hurt her. No flashy power" he said
Skelly shrugged "I'm might as well quirkless. I got no flashy power. But thats ok."
G nodded, he walked over to Hana. And let the others mingle, he went to get a drink and offered one to Hana if she wanted

She wished he would pull her along and do something but maybe they should have thought about this more, discussed it more that they would talk and what kind of personality she gave off? Her eyes were just dazing over all the people, trying to get the names, wondering if she should help Jinx get a drink but she just stood there and eventually looked up to the tall husband that appeared in front of her again, she felt so small here, as she had chosen not to wear heels. "Hi." She said softly, hoping Kenshin would join them so she would not feel the urge to kiss this man especially not with the pink thing over there. With the formal introduction of the newest Storm Knight pretty much done, it was time to go mingle and chill. On any other occasion, Kenshin would most likely avoid social interaction, preferring to just chill by himself in his own corner of the base, not speaking unless spoken to. However, this was not just any other occasion. Naturally, he wanted to go talk with Hanako if she was fine with it. See how she likes the place, ask how she feels about the Storm Knights, or anything else that came to mind. Plus, there were all these other people Kenshin was curious about. The ones Kenshin had to resist referring to as 'G's Misfits' or something stupid like that.
Speaking of those guys and girls, it was time to meet em all! As Kenshin listened to G, he began to wonder just why the others did not show. Were they busy with their own thing? Did they not care? Or were they in no condition to show up? Best to not worry about that last one. No need for any paranoia. Everyone else was doing just fine. Probably.
So first was Reaper, whose quirk let him emit poison smoke. Pretty cool and handy. Second was Scythe, a girl who had a rain cloud over her head. Easy to tell what she could do. Next was Mowdown, whose quirk lets him control mice and rats. Kenshin did not really like the comparison to that asshole villain. He was sure that this guy was not an actual piece of garbage like that psychotic serial killer. Then came Mr. Big Box. Interesting alias aside, his quirk actually sounded pretty fascinating. The wolf-headed guy was Jaws. Obvious alias, yet it worked just fine. The one with gloves was called Jinx, and he apparently had no control over his quirk. Kenshin felt a bit bad, but whatever it was this guy could do, the boy hoped he'd never find out the hard way. And finally, there was Skelly, a literal human lightning rod. Her quirk sounded situational, but not all quirks needed to be flashy to be helpful.
Kenshin smiled at everyone. "A pleasure to meet you all. Any ally of G is an ally of mine. I look forward to fighting alongside all of you." Oh right, he should probably introduce himself to these people. Even if they already knew who he was, it was bad manners to not introduce oneself. A lesson drilled into his skull by his frighteningly strict mother since childhood. "I'm Red Edge. For those who don't know me, my quirk gives me red armor, and I can turn my hand into a blade. Hence the name." Probably best to shut up now before the boy embarrasses himself further by continuing to state the obvious.
While Kenshin certainly found the group of teens interesting, and he would certainly be up for hanging out and chatting with them all, he did want to check in with Hanako first, say hi and make sure she was settling in just fine. "Hey. So, how's it feel to be one of us? Well, how are you doing in general?" The boy just wanted to make sure that the lady felt at home here. Anyone who tried to cause trouble for her would have more than just G to worry about. But surely that would not be a concern. Everyone would surely get along.

He had heard Hana say quietly how she wants to stay near her. G just wanted to embrace her and kiss her when hearing that. But respecting the disguise, he restrained himself. He just placed his hand on her shoulder and replied "I dont mind that. I love your company" it was the most pg thing he could say. Something thats not romantic that would indicate a relationship, but something that would indicate some form of care towards the subject which was Hana.
After that G had to introduce everyone to Hana and Kenshin. Hana waved to Reaper, and the youngster curiously waved at her as well. His whole gangster facade fading for a moment. After all, Hana was an adult. She was like authority to him. After that she decided to mingle with Kenshin
Meanwhile from Kenshins perspective, he seemed more eager to meet these youngsters G kept on the backburner and didnt let muddle with the Storm Knights. Granted G understood that as they were more a compatible As Kenshin kept the honourable route and said how he be happy to fight alongside them. One just replied "Deuces" only to get bonked by another on the head "Wrong slang, dummy"G then looked at Kenshin "I dont think they be ready for expert combat. They're not quite like you. If you want you can train someone"After that G let Hana and Kenshin mingle, he didnt want to butt in. He just wanted to give his wife space so she can bloom on her own. He didnt want her to be in his shadow. G meanwhile checked in with his misfits. They werent real Vigilantes, pseudo vigilantes at best. Hooligans and delinquents he wanted to ring in and control before villains or cops got to them. Literally the best option if G thought so himself. He found another HQ for these young troublemakers. And its best that they dont distract Storm Knights |

The only thing some smart ass that did not know her might figure was that she did not accidentally get a hoodie that was too big, no it was his. But no one seemed to be looking at her long enough to figure it out. She would just mumble that she wanted to be near him and she would look up at him and nod, this was more difficult than she wanted to consider. She wanted to snuggle in his arms because she was scared and look at his status, look how he handled all these people if she was in his arms, she would be safe from the newbs and the glares some people gave her. She wasn't even sure what to do, she waved stupidly at someone who seemed to be surprised so she quickly dropped her hand. See, she was being dumb. She looked around some more, watched Kenshin introduce himself, speak about his quirk and she turned a little pale. She had no quirk, surely her glasses could give something off, what did Fix say last year? Right that could fake a quirk but still, she was a little dummy. She made a small bow. She had been there at that Plutocracy crisis but she had no idea if Kenshin thought of that as positive. "I am a bit nervous that I don't belong here and push myself to hard but in general I am doing fine. Lot better with bow and arrow or you know, running away." While it was too soon to tell for sure, Kenshin's first impression of these guys and girls were alright. They seemed like reasonable enough folk. It seemed as though none of them were ready for expert combat. A shame, as it would have been nice to have more sparring partners, but that was not a concern. Still, one did not have to be proficient at combat to become a worthy ally. "I mean I wouldn't mind. If anyone is ever up for it, that is." Kenshin actually had a fun time helping others get stronger. Even if he had his doubts on whether or not he was a good teacher, at least it was always an entertaining and enlightening experience. At least it was assuming he wasn't dealing with any lazy student.
Kenshin listened to Hanako's words. He was curious on why she felt that way. "You can never be a bother to us, so never worry about that." Really, of all the words Kenshin would use to describe Hanako from what he had seen and known of her, he would never go for ones like 'bothersome' or 'burden'. He hoped that no one here would actually be stupid enough to think that of the lady. "Look, you belong here just as much as G, I or the rest of us here. Anyone stupid enough to think or say otherwise will get the stupid punched out of them by me." And that was assuming G didn't get to them first. "You'll fit in just fine. I know so." A small reassuring grin. If those were the worries on Hanako's mind, then Kenshin hoped that his words would be enough to cast the fog of doubt away. He was not the best at pep talks, but at least he tried.
"Oh damn, really? I didn't know you could use a bow. Nice!" Archery seemed like a really badass skill to pick up. Kenshin often wished that he had a ranged option like that, especially one that did not drain energy like his sword beams did. "I bet you're great at sniping. It'd be cool seeing your skills in action sometime." Obviously in a situation where Hanako wasn't in any danger, of course. Maybe a training session of some kind would work? If she was up for that, of course. Kenshin wouldn't mind. It would certainly make for an entertaining training exercise.

"Oh we're totally in for some training" Mowdown eagerly spoke. He was happy to show off what he could do. Even if it did mean his Quirk was controlling rodents like mice, rats or anything similar. G mostly took a step back to let others shine and most of all to let Hana shine. This was just them and a bunch of youngsters. Surely she wouldnt be too shy with youngsters. As he watched her and Kenshin interact, he smiled when the two spoke together and Kenshin saying, that she can never be a bother to them. G nodded "He's right. You're no bother to anyone" G reassured Hana. And with that Skelly chimed in "Totes malotes. The Boss man is right. You're like a family to us all" Kenshin would continue to add that she belongs here as much as G, him or anyone else. And whoever is says that will get the stupid punched out of him. G then added "Thats swat boi. But dont ever listen to what that dumbass says. He's a fucking edgelord who has a smoll pp. Thats why he lashes out on people thinking they're weak or inadequate. Hell, he even criticized Red. That dumb rogue" G said
"I havent met the guy yo. But you shouldnt let an edgy guy like that turn you down. Hell, we have all our own baggage and you dont see us brood over it" Reaper told
"Speak for yourself" Jinx grumpily told Reaper. But again, you could see it was just banter between them and no malice. As Jinx was the guy who looked like more of a brooding type of a teen and since he had weak control of his quirk, he had a reason to brood.
Hana and Kenshin talked even more and they connected nicely. G approved of it. Plus so did his grunts who would marvel at the idea of a professional archer

Hana never liked women that were all staring at Gil, he was hers. But Mrs. Hajimari could not say that today, today she was just Storm Heart, some random chick this big boss of a vigilante man had found on the street and had nothing to do with him. God she wanted to hide in his arms and not be away from this man. She wanted to go home, desperately. She knew no one here, she had expected others and did not know what to do with herself. The vigilante world seemed so different when G told her about it, or when she trailed him than how it actually was, so she did not know what to think or do with herself at this point. "I will try, thanks K..." She swallowed the word, she would have difficulty with using people their alias, "Red." She was good at this, she managed to cut herself off at the first letter. Oops, she gave him an apologetic look, she was going to do this fine, she would probably call G, darling or sweety or something but right now that would be fresh in her mind. She blushed only more and only wanted to not exist only more when the other guy spoke up saying she was like family already and she wasn't sure if that made it better or worse to be honest.
Hanako raised her eyebrow when G said something she had not heard him say before. What? "Thanks." She should focus on what Kenshin said. She tried to take a drink and just stand there, talking, keeping an eye out on Pinky. Before she turned to Kenshin, "Maybe come over for dinner once again, yea?" She whispered, making sure that no one else would hear them before turning to look at everyone else. "I am more a person for behind the scenes, thank you all for the warm welcome but I will go." She looked very tense but if you did not know her, that was easy to miss, so she looked shortly at G, bowed to him... which felt very wrong and turned around to leave the perimeters of this house. She wished Elena was here, so she had someone to talk to, or so she knew what to do or say. Well you could not have everything and if no one would stop her, she would indeed leave to try and go somewhere. She did not know how to go as she arrived with G but she could walk to her aunt and uncle maybe?

Kenshin smiled. He was always more than happy to help those willing to learn from him. "Just let me know when and where. But be sure you're ready. I don't go easy on my students." His own teachers had never gone easy on him, so it was only fair to extend the same courtesy to those who wished to learn from him.
It took Kenshin everything he had to not outright laugh when G talked about SWAT Boi. He almost failed, only just barely managing to disguise his chuckle as a sudden cough. Not that Kenshin disliked any of the other Storm Knights, but it was no secret that some were far more pleasant than others. Of course, Kenshin would not badmouth any of the ones that annoyed him, but even one as typically serious as him could not resist finding G's words humorous. Hell, the guy was just hilarious in general.
Speaking of the rest of the Storm Knights, it really was a shame none of the others could show up. It was Hanako's special day as the newest member, and it would have been neat to have the whole 'family' here to welcome her. Ah well. Kenshin could not fault anyone who couldn't show up. Not completely, anyway.
The boy wasn't even mad when Hanako almost let his real name slip. Even if she did accidentally say it out loud, it would not be a big deal in his opinion. Not like he cared whether or not anyone knew. After all, Kenshin was not an uncommon name in Japan. "Don't worry about it" The boy muttered. As he went to grab a can of Epsi, he heard Hanako's whisper and smiled as he whispered back. "Yeah, sure thing. I'd be happy to." Though with how things went last time, Kenshin hoped that if or when he came over for dinner at the Hajimari's, things would not be awkward as hell like last time.
It seemed as though Hanako had to leave now. Or wanted to, perhaps. "Alright, then. Take care, Storm Heart!" Kenshin looked forward to seeing the future of the Storm Knights with Hanako as part of the team now. With her on board, things would be more interesting. At least there was now one more person here Kenshin was cool with. Maybe someday, he would get along with the other members in the same way. Well maybe not SWAT Boi. That would certainly be a major challenge. Not that he wasn't willing to try, but still.
