It had been a day like every other... Classic training session with the sports club kids. In this case, due to the summery weather, they had been playing soccer. Admittedly, they played a LOT of soccer, since a lot of other students in the club loved the stuff, mildly to Kirks chagrin. Not that he didn't enjoy the sport, he liked all sports! It's just that doing any one thing too much would get slightly tiring eventually! However, the match on that day had been a little bit EXTRA Tense! Score had been 9 to 9, in a match that was supposed to end at 10 points square! And that last point had just been bouncing about the field, from one side to the other continuously, without any one hit making it through! Part of the problem was perhaps that the other side had Tetsuko as the goalie, and the other had Kirk on the offensive! With them on opposite sides, games tended to go for a very long time!
However, Kirk had noticed yet another chance coming! One of the players on the other side was going for an extra reckless charge, which left him wide open for getting the ball stolen. "KIRK BLUSTER COMING THROUGH!!" He had gathered speed, slammed his foot down, and went for the classic slide, that would have allowed him to immediately turn towards the goal, and go for one of the blind spots in Tetsukos vision! The shoe grinded against the grass so bad, that it almost kicked dirt in the air, and his speed guaranteed he would be succes-
But then there was the loud rip and boom, as Kirks momentum dropped completely, and he was hurled forward, facefirst against the ground, and shoulder against the face of the other player! "S-sorry dude! Doesn't usually happen, I promise, hehe!" With that creepy sound, he had lifted his foot... and the whole bottom of his shoe had pretty much been ripped off, leaving only the naked looking foot behind. Kirks eyes had widened, as he screamed in minor agony! "NOOOOOOOOO!" But not in pain... Well, technically one sort of pain: His wallet was gonna have yet another beating!
That had been about a week ago... and Now Kirk was laying on his bed bouncing his foot up and down impatiently. Admittedly, Kirk breaking some of his sports gear was not exactly a new thing. There was a reason he was stamped as being a bit rambunctious after all. He put a lot of effort into everything he did! And usually that was a good thing and worked out for him! But, it did put his gear through hell. And each time usually he had to pay it from his own pocket. Occasionally the school got him more gear free of charge, mostly cause of the sports club permissions, but when it came to stuff like shoes, and shoulderguards? They were just too personal! They needed to be almost tailor made! Nothing could handle his way of doing things in one piece!
Luckily, His grandpa had been pretty dang merciful this time! He had outright given him quite a lot of cash to spend on shoes that would last this time! Although, he had to spend cash on the shipping and delivery from his own pocket. With that, he had asked this new company in town for it! It was cheaper than most big things, though it of course carried some risks. But COME OOON, they had said that they would be handling the delivery as quickly as possible! They wouldn't be lying! Especially to an early customer like him, right?!
The impatience was growing. This was the day the shoes were supposedly gonna be coming to the city. Would he need to wait for 3 more days for them? He needed those shoes! The other shoes he was using were so worn out they might break soon too! Kirk was having a hard time staying still. He had to just put his trust in the deliveryman being quick on their feet or car or whatever they would be delivering the things on, and that was torture for a guy who was usually ready to pick this stuff up himself!

Three deliveries today! Two small, one big! The packages themselves weren't exactly huge but this was the first time she'd been hired to deliver something to U.A.! A hero in training using her service, wow! She was so excited she could hardly wait to deliver it herself. Plus, the name on the package was pretty familiar at this point; Kirk Bluster. The guy had made a name for himself on TV despite only being a student. She respected that kinda hustle! A few years ago she'd seen him wrestle with a dinosaur of all things! Granted she'd only seen parts of it as she jogged past a bunch of TV stores while she was working, but still! A dinosaur! Seemed like the package was some specially made running shoes. Probably quite expensive but not necessarily fragile, so she wouldn't need the bike today, she could run this one. Hah! Run this one! That was hilarious! Oh, she cracked herself up sometimes. With a small chuckle, she opened her satchel and pushed the box inside, along with the two other smaller packages for later. Today was going to be a fairly light day, she better ease up a bit on the food. As a result, breakfast was just some toast and butter with a fresh glass of milk, nothing fancy. Enough carbohydrates to kickstart the old metabolism, then some calcium for her bones and fats to keep her reserve energy levels. Geez, so much thought went into her food choices. Or maybe all people thought like this and she was just projecting her weirdness somehow? She gave a short shrug, before downing the rest of the milk with a soft 'Ah!~'. Today was going to be a good day, she could feel it! And if fate conspired against her again, she'd just have to be more positive to counteract it! Which, admittedly was a rather cheesy way of approaching problems but hey, better than sulking about it, right? -------- "So this is U.A.? Bit bigger than I thought it'd be. More fancy too!" She looked up at the huge structure, shielding her eyes from the sun before realizing she had a hat specifically designed to do that exact thing. Her expression was curious; in her mind heroes were cool and all, hell she admired quite a few of them on the TV but she rarely, if ever, came into any situation that requires them. If any thugs troubled her, her quick feet were generally enough to escape problems and she was usually out during the day-time anyway, when it was much less likely to get stuck up for money. Maybe she was just lucky. She made sure her badge was visible as she moved into the front reception, taking a look around at the rather pleasant, corporate-looking waiting room and the older lady working behind the desk. Kai greeted her with her characteristic pep, giving her a big grin and a wave. The lady tried to no-sell it but as she turned her head away to file some papers, Kai saw the briefest hint of a smile on her lips. A smile for a smile! Always a fair exchange! She stepped forward, removing the package from her bag and placing it on the counter. "Hey there! Inoue, Kaisaki of Golden Sun Direct Delivery! Got a package here for a Mr. Kirk Bluster, pair of running shoes." The lady gave a polite smile and a nod, tapping away at her computer for a moment. "Lovely. I'll send him a message just now. Feel free to leave the package here with me, I'll make sure he gets it, hun." Kai was expecting that response and puffed out her chest with a confident smile, hands on hips. "Ah, but it is my duty to make doubly sure my client receives their packages in person for extra assurance of customer service! Besides, seeing a friendly face is good for repeat business, you know how it is." She let out a short laugh, playing it up as if she was laughing at herself, which thankfully the receptionist responded to positively, with a resigned but amused sigh, indicating the pleather seats at the far end of the room. "Feel free to wait there in that case. Don't let anyone say I'm not a nice lady." Kai gave another laugh, happy that she'd at least made a new fast friend, before walking backwards towards the seats. "Wouldn't dream of it, ma'am!"With that, the receptionist sent out the message to Kirk, possibly by text, informing him there was a package waiting for him at the main entrance reception. Since Kai only had two other packages to deliver today, she was totally fine waiting here for a while. He was a student after all and it was-... She checked her watch; 11:41am. Every chance he could be busy.

DING! A loud sound echoed through his room! Well, probably not, but it sure felt like it did, as Kirks phone suddenly shook and vibrated! At insane speeds, the boy scooped the phone into his palm, and proceeded to look at messages! It was from the entrance! And that could mean just one thing, that message itself was blurting out! "I HAVE A PACKAGE AT THE DOOR!" With that loud shout, He jumped off the bed outright launched by his quirk straight into a run, even forgetting to put his shoes on, leaving only socks! With that, it was like a rhino was charging through the stairs as he stomped his way through the doors of the dorms, and proceeded to to run through the grass, over to the gates! ...Where he stopped for a moment, so he could show his Id to the sensors. And then he charged the rest of the way, into the booth right next to the gates, as he opened the doors and took a breath.
"ARE THEY HERE!?" The attendant flinched a bit, but regained composure pretty quickly, as Kirk walked very rapidly over to the counter. "Yes Kirk, this lady here was nice enough to deliver it over to the door." Kirks eyes turned to look at this delivery girl, dressed in dark blues and a funky cap! Honestly, he would have probably hugged her in gratitude if he didn't know that it was a little bit awkward to do to random people. Instead, he proceeded to give a hearty bro slap on her back, maybe a little bit harder than he had actually intended! "Man, thanks dudette! I knew I could count on ya, I JUST KNEW IT! I could honestly kiss ya!" It was hard to hold back his excitement, as the attendant scanned the package just in case for anything weird. "Thank god you were so quick! I would have probably died if I had to wait till weekend!" He was doing tiny hops from one foot to the other, clapping his hands together impatiently. He was like a kid in front of santa claus, waiting for his turn!
"Alright, here you g-" Kirk outright snatched package out of the attendants hands, As he proceeded to hold and shake it a little. "You see, these things, are absolutely MANDATORY for me to actually do anything properly!" The attendant seemingly tried to tell him to hold back a little, but Kirk was already amidst opening it with his bare hands! "You see, any sportsman in the world, relies the most on their FEET! Whatever you're doing, getting anywhere, your feet need to be protected!" Inside the box, there was another smaller box, filled to the brim with different sort of logos. "Othervise, you're gonna be breaking something REALLY quickly! And for that, the shoes themselves need to be extremely durable by themselves!" He opened that box, ripped open the paper covering his wanted item, and gripped them with his fingers... "And cause of that, I got..."
"THESE!" Just the way he said that added some gleam to the brand new shoes rising from the box! They were bright orange, with black and white detailing and a little bit of light green! The bottoms of the shoes were quite clearly on the thicker side, and overall, they were almost tanks in shoe form! Although with how Kirk lifted them up, they were clearly also light enough to not be a problem! Which was exactly how shoes were meant to be! He lowered them down onto the floor, and proceeded to slide his bit dirty socks right in! Momentarily, he stretched his calves, to get a proper look at the bottoms of em! Yup, the bottom was shaped, so it made a print that was like a baseball when stepped! A little extra, but hey, he was always the loud type.
However, he was also lucky in the fact, that the deliveryman had stayed around! "HEY! As a completely neutral party, I have a task for you!" He hopped in place for a moment in a jogging motion, just taking in how smooth his steps felt, and then proceeded to rapidly jump from side to side, like a goalie trying to block multiple balls at once! God, the elasticity on the shoes was AMAZING! But most importantly! "How do I look!?" He proceeded to flex, himself proud of what he had got. but with how his fashion sense had been insulted with his reveal of his suit, he wanted to know what this person thought about it!

Her eyes widened in surprise as the door suddenly flung open only a few minutes after the alert had been sent. The receptionist nearly jumped out of her skin! Had Kai not been used to such surprises she'd have done the same probably. A large guy entered, hard to believe he was a student with those muscles and those sideburns; looked a bit like someone out of the cast of the musical Slip. Not that that was a bad thing, just a very distinct look for a kid.
...Kid? Was she that old already?
Like a horror movie his eyes snapped to her, which she responded with a bit of a nervous 'yikes!' face, taking a step back but playing it off with an awkward smile and a laugh. "Well you're certainly energetic, ain't ya? Let's leave the kissing until you buy me dinner first, big guy." Nudging him in the ribs, she let out a small chuckle. He really was tall though, like really tall! She'd seen taller but usually when their mutation Quirks boosted them up to non-human proportions. A foreigner maybe? That'd explain the name Kirk, she supposed. "Hey, it's all in a day's work for Golden Sun Direct Delivery! Never missed a delivery slot yet!" A quick, stiff salute and a serious, proud expression for but a moment, before she couldn't hold it any longer and laughed.
She'd seen people excited to open their packages before but not nearly as much as this! This guy clearly had just about as much energy as her and that was saying something considering she technically never ran out so long as she didn't push herself too hard. What was the school feeding these kids? Fucking... there she went again, calling them kids. I'm 20 dammit brain, not 30. She looked down at the shoes, which he showed off very enthusiastically. Only now had she realized he had run here without shoes on, only wearing his socks. Was that unhygienic? She didn't know.
A very gaudy set of colors to be sure but maybe that was in fashion these days. Fashion wasn't really something she followed considering most of the clothes she saw on shelves she couldn't wear anyway without some significant prep. Besides, clothes for tomgirls seemed to stick to a very similar style all the time. A few times she'd been tempted by more girly clothes but the more she looked at them the more they just seemed to not fit her personality at all. "Well, they're certainly striking! Just make sure you don't dent the floors with 'em when you run, those soles look like lead bricks."
Was that a baseball on the bottom? She couldn't help but smirk at that one. Certainly 'a little extra' but hey, whatever floated his boat, though she also supposed that it'd make him super easy to track as a Hero. Wasn't that something they were supposed to worry about? Eh, who knows. "How do you look? Uh... dashing! Yes, certainly dashing, kid!" Ah fuck! Stop calling him 'kid', Kai! "Ladies will be dripping off of you with those!" She wasn't exactly lying either, they did look ok when he was wearing them. Maybe it just kinda fit his loud personality to have very uh... loud shoes.
"How do they feel on you? Too big? Small? We have a returns service as well if ya need it, free of charge!" Technically that was advertisement but she was genuinely concerned, considering the very specialized nature of those shoes. If they were off by even a milimetere he'd probably feel it, which she knew from experience hurt like a bitch. She had refused to throw out her old running shoes until very recently and by the end she might as well have just been wearing socks, her feet were pretty much coming in direct contact with the tarmac.

Honestly, Kirk was happy that his deliveryman of all people had a good sense of humour! Just made him even prouder about hiring them for the job. "Nah, can't do that, all money went to these things, you know!?" It would have honestly been a more depressing sentence, if Kirk hadn't had the feeling, that these were truly going to be worth every penny! Sadly, he didn't have the patience to notice how much effort the girl had put in getting the box here without any sort of damages, before absolutely decimating the poor thing himself! "Definitely gonna order from you lasses again, if I get anything from America!" However, he kept bouncing up and down with his shoes, way too eager about hearing the ladies opinion. Could she deliver that as satisfyingly?
"They are definitely gonna be a HIT, that's for sure!" Kirk pointed at her with a stupid smile of the pun he had made. "Don't worry though, I won't usually use these indoors, if it won't come to proper work!" Admittedly, Kirk had been having a bit of a problem with rushing through things quickly and breaking through them in the process. Realizing that, he sort of hoped the girl hadn't watched his event from the sports festival... "W-what I mean is, I will certaily calm down a bit, before it comes to that, you know?!" God, with these cannonballs, he would probably be able to step through some of those bridges with no damage whatsoever! "They need to be hefty though, or else they'll break too easily!"
For the most important comment though! ...Well, Kirk wasn't sure how to interpret it. Was she saying the girls would be absolutely spooked see him in them? Nah, she had just called em dashing! So, clearly it was a good thing! "So that big of a homerun, huh!? If I am gonna have my enemies shaking in their boots THAT bad, I could probably consider going towards villainy instead!" He flexed downwards, with this cringe inducing 'monster' look towards the deliverylady, as the woman at the counter quietly just facepalmed. Honestly, Kirk was just way too excited to think about it that deeply! There was nothing depressing about these shoes, absolutely nothing!
However, the lady did step a bit on the breaks on all his excitement, when she actually asked a very important question. "Oh uh, Yeah! Gimme a minute! Gotta give em a Kirk grade check-up!" There were certain things you had to make sure to avoid this sort of stuff from getting that bad. First off, he squatted. Just testing how much they pressed down from this sort of moment. Then he outright jumped, and stomped, with the floor echoing a big ol boom! ...A boom that made the woman at the counter flinch horribly. "Okay, so elasticity is clearly alright, now next up...!" "NO DOING THESE HERE! You can go to the school grounds if you want to test them out!" It was Kirks turn to flinch, as he outright jumped on his other foot from shock! "B-b-but, uh... She can't come over to the school grounds!" "I mean, I doubt they have like 'return it immediately or lose your chance policy' or something..." The lady was clearly misgruntled. "Ugh... uh..." Kirks hand went over to his jaw, as he proceeded to just regularly walk back and forth in thought.
"Hey, uh! I know a place near here, that should be empty and safe to do some rougher stuff at! Can we go there to test this stuff out? She can watch there, and there won't be any problems!" The counterlady shrugged. "I don't mind. Although I will probably hear if you have done something awkward there, so try to avoid that, alright?" Kirks hand snapped to his forehead like wired! "OF COURSE MA'AM!" The counterlady was clearly used to Kirk shouting, as she rubbed her ears in annoyance. Meanwhile, Kirk himself clapped his hands together, and bowed towards the deliverylady. "If it's alright, we'll go right away to that place! Used to live near there, but moved in here so, I THINK the place should be a bit more empty than usual!" He walked towards the door, before stopping in his tracks. "You alright with that!? I promise you, it won't take THAT long!" He lifted his legs and gripped them with his hands as a small warm-up. "Besides, I wouldn't be able to accept new shoes without running atleast a mile with them first! You can just follow me with your car or what not, if that's a problem!" The boy clearly didn't want to cause trouble, but this also seemed to be REALLY important!

Lasses? Did he think there was more than her? That seemed to be a pretty common assumption, that she belonged to a larger company or that she had colleagues. It did seem more uncommon for women, especially ones as young as her, to own their own company. Especially in a business like this, where it was very physical and seemingly monotonous. She wasn't accusing Kirk of sexism or anything, she totally understood why he'd think that; just the thought made her a little sad. She did not, however, correct him. Mooostly because he'd already moved on by the time she'd sorted out her thoughts.
'Calming down', no matter what Kirk said, didn't feel like it was a part of the boys comprehensible language. Wasn't really in hers either now that she thought about it but she didn't think she got as hyped as this guy. Granted, she was only working with her own perspective so maybe she did. Probably a good thing to ask Yumi, actually. "Well I'm glad ya like them! I'm not sure the staff will be as appreciative-" She gave a nod to the woman behind the counter, who gave a light shrug. "-but no one can fault you for enjoying yourself!" Granted she wasn't super sure if Heroes were allowed to enjoy themselves. Maybe when she and Yumi went to the arcade they were doing something against convention, perhaps even illegal!
That honestly kinda made it feel even better.
"Yeah, sure, home run!" Whatever... that means. She watched the expression of the woman behind the counter bristle as he mentioned villainy. Probably not a great thing to be doing in a school about becoming a hero but at least he was entertaining. Certainly could put a smile on your face! "I dunno if you've got the right aesthetic or a villain; too kind of a face and too muscular. Gotta look like a pale skinny kid with dark eye shadow to be a villain to me!"
She was obviously kidding, after all Ishtar certainly wasn't one of those. Or whatever she called herself. The lady from the news broadcast that had taunted all the heroes and basically declared war on Tokyo. Where was the war? She hadn't seen any war. All hot air, no substance. Yet even as she thought that she felt a twinge of worry... if the war did come, people like Yumi and Kirk would be forced to fight, right? Would they be ok...? Kirk certainly seemed fired up but if it really was a war, was he ready for it?
Was anyone?
Kai just kinda watched Kirk bumble through his conversation with the lady, feeling each impact from his shoes. Either he was incredibly strong or those shoes were hilariously dense; either way she was definitely not happy with him mucking up the nice riled floor. "Our return policy is ten days, don't worry! If you don't like 'em just stick them back in the box you put them in and fill out the returns portion of your contract online, it's all good!" In truth she'd never had someone return a package before; not that that was a bad thing. It's not like she made whatever was in the package anyway, if it turned out to be crap no one could blame her. At least no one reasonable and she'd made it a habit to only listen to reasonable people.
"I... mean I don't really know if I need to watch-" Yet Kirk was so insistent and it's not like she was necessarily pressed for time right now, only a few packages to deliver and the slots were technically later on anyway. She gave a short sigh after chuckling at Kirk's request. "Y'know what? Why not? Lead the way." Kai aimed a little shrug at the woman behind the counter, who just shook her head and went back to her work.
"Oh! Oh you think because I'm not a U.A. student I can't run, huh? Or maybe it's because I'm a girl!" She raised her eyebrow, smirking as she tightened the strap on her bag to stop it flapping about all over the place, then jogged for a few seconds in place to get warmed up. "Prepare to eat my dust.~"

"W-Well...!" Admittedly, pointing out that the staff didn't like him acting all loud was probably one of the easiest things to pick out from all the things he did. He couldn't really counter with anything. "You got a point there." A little bit embarrassing but what could you do. Othervise, the delivery lady kept on, well, delivering! She sure did have a way with words to make a to-be-hero feel a little bit sure of himself! "I guess that's true! Ain't nobody gonna be afraid of a guy, whose got a winning smile, and muscles like these!" He flexed pointing up towards the roof, smiling wide as he had pretty much promised! Though admittedly, he had seen plenty of the sort of heroes that dabbled more in the dark look. Alex came to mind! A student back from his first year! He always took things kind of seriously in that regard... Man, hopefully the dudes alright!
However, even though she told him to not worry about needing to return things, Kirk was just shaking his head and hands. "Nah, you don't get it! This sort of stuff needs to look good both in rest AND action! Gotta have someone to see it going proper!" He rubbed the underside of his nose, before snapping his fingers and pointing them at her, like he had just come up with something! "Besides, I bet you wouldn't like me taking time off of your day later, when you can just do it now instead, right?!" At least it felt like a good enough reason! Besides, Kirk knew he himself would be annoyed, if he had to worry about that stuff later instead of actually enjoying having these shoes finally!
In the end, the lady yielded, and proceeded to just nod and join him like she had nothing better. Kirk expectedly clapped his hands together in excitement! "Great! You won't regret this!" However, as he stepped out of the building, his head started turning, like he was a little bit confused. Come to think of it, there was no car that seemed like the delivery sort. However, soon, with what he had said before, the girl proceeded to clearly be a bit offended about what he had said. This luckily instead of awkwardness prompted a humongous burst of laughter, as he bumped her side with his fist. "Come on dudette! You should see all the dang girls who could beat me at pure speed alone! Ain't nothing bad in that!" He had seen a plenty of girls who had bodies built like tanks! And that had shaped his image in quite a positive direction!
...but, she was right about the whole student thing. Not very many non student civilians really trained their quirks or their stuff to hit the levels they could! However, the girl in front of him immediately started a little warm-up. Kirks mouth grew into a smirk. "Oooooh! Is that a challenge?" He punched his hand into his fist. "I LOVE challenges!" That, and the girls he said could easily beat him speed? Those energetic go-getters? Kirk LOVED that sort of girls too! He just knew this was gonna be fun. "Although! We running with rules in mind! Don't wanna spook the other folks, you know?" He almost said that just to remind himself not to get too into this exercise. It had happened before, and usually had quite the consequences. "That, and what's your name, dudette? Gonna be awkward if I can't write your name on the second place trophy, you know!" A bit of a friendly taunt. Classic in this sort of thing!
He bent forward, touching his toes for his warm-up, before dropping down onto an almost olympic level start for a run. "Gotta make sure I ain't gotta explain all of this to the person at the counter, or I'll be in trouble!" With that said, he started counting... "3! 2! 1!... GO!"
And since he had been the one counting, he got an obvious headstart! His pace was actually quite lax compared to some heroic exercises, almost more like he was jogging, but quickly! There was more so bounce in his step than actual effort! But man, already he could feel how comfortable the shoes were! They were pretty much rubbing all the right spots, and there was no scafing whatsoever! That and somehow he could feel like his steps were a lot lighter to do! However, surprisingly, his curiosity and excitement was way more targeted currently on the person running with him! He was curious what was her idea of quick! "I bet, that the place should still be as open and ready as last time I went! Though it's been a while since I used it admittedly. Problem with moving from one place to another!" The fact that he could talk and run this fast certainly said something about his experience. "Though I guess I should worry more about it being able to handle what I got in store for it!"

"Hah, geez, flex like that again and I might be the one paying for your dinner." She joked, giving him another playful bump in the arm with her fist, before her heart suddenly dropped, squinting at him a little. "...You're 18 right? Please tell me I didn't just flirt with someone underage." Miniature crisis aside, clearly U.A. wasn't slacking on the physical exercise. Yumi had told her they put the students through the wringer but if they all ended up like this guy all Heroes might end up looking like something out of the comic books. Was that a bad thing? She wasn't sure. As much as she enjoyed hourglass figures and muscular men, all shapes and sizes were lovable in their own way.
Well at least he was trying to be helpful, she supposed. The guy clearly had the whole helping thing down, she just wondered if he had the gumption to do it where it counts. She'd met people like who looked like him in high school. All muscles, all smiles but poke a hole in them and they deflate faster than an under-cooked cake just out of the oven. It was both strength of character and strength of body that made someone worthwhile in her eyes. At least Kirk was nice, that was a start certainly, even if he was a little over-eager.
She could only give a hearty laugh as he tried to defend himself. It was always fun to make guys squirm like that; most of the time they didn't mean anything by those types of comments but the moment you pointed it out, they wriggled like a slug under a spotlight. Ah the things she did to entertain herself. His smirk told her that he was the competitive sort. Good, then she knew he wouldn't slouch and it'd be fun to humiliate a U.A. student a little, teach him some humility. The civvies weren't useless, not in the slightest! Or at least, she certain;y wasn't. "Yeah it is a challenge! Not all of his civvies are damsels in distress, y'hear?" Her grin was determined, responding to his words by giving him a poke in the chest.
"The other folks can get spooked for all I care! You just better not hold back, or you're going to be humiliated, kid.~" Stop calling him kid! She mentally berated herself again for treating herself as so much older than Kirk when she was clearly only a few years his senior, if that. "Name's Kaisaki, Inoue, owner and sole delivery woman of Golden Sun Direct Delivery! You can call me Kai though, it's easier. Just make sure you spell it write when I win, yeah?~"
If Kirk was hoping to catch her off guard by starting early he was sorely mistaken, after all that had always been her strategy. She'd done it to Yumi the other day when they raced, which luckily Yumi took in good spirits. Well, of course she did, considering she won the race thanks to that silly lady with the baby!
As they set off, Kai easily kept pace with him, taunting him a little by pretending she was expending any effort going this speed. Even at full speed she tended to often not feel the strain until she'd used up all of her energy and it was a particularly sunny day today. Amazing physical specimen as he was, Kirk stood noooo chance at besting her in speed or stamina but it was fun to pretend he had a clear advantage. God, I am a bitch sometimes, huh? The thought made her smirk a little, it was probably a pretty good thing she never went to U.A.
He was used to running pretty damn fast though that much was certain; he could pretty easily talk while running, which had taken Kai a long time to get used to herself. "I'm sure you'll put it through the wringer!" She grinned again, jogging to stay alongside him as they went, before tilting her head a little, considering him. "Are you captain of some sort of sports team? Soccer maybe? Baseball? Track team? You really do seem like the sporty type." She gave him a little nudge on the arm. "And it's not just the shoes that gave it away!"

Not damsels in distress, huh? Admittedly, civilians were gonna be the primary target for heroes to save, so technically they would become ones! But just all the energy in her boasting had him curious, if they really had something to back it up with, Because she was starting to throw some proper fighting words! "You? Humiliating me?! BWAHAHAHA!" He gave her a proper wake up slap on the back. Maybe it was a bit of that self pride that kept him so upbeat, that it just overflowed a little. "Let's put all that boasting and moving of our mouths to where it actually matters! The leg muscles!" Kirks sentence was a little bit weird, but felt like it fit the mood quite well! With her proper introduction, Kirk proceeded to grin widely! "Well then, bro! Get ready to handle that SWEEEEEET dust!"
However, to his surprise, as he glanced behind him to make sure the girl hadn't been left behind, instead, she was seemingly keeping up with ease! No problem whatsoever, putting one foot in front of the other! "Oh my! That's pretty good!" Kirk had to just lift up a thumb at it! this definitely wasn't some amateur running! But, he still had the advantage! Guess he would just need a little bit of extra things to keep it going. He proceeded to lean a bit forward, lowering the wind resistance against his body a little, as that immediately made his pace a little bit quicker. Combined with the pendulum like motions of his arms throwing him forward by centimeter or two, it was clear Kirk knew exactly what he was doing to keep the race interesting in his eyes!
The only sad thing was the fact, that with her behind him, Kirk couldn't exactly observe her running style. It would have definitely been something he would like to take note of. But, luckily Kirk was loud enough, that even with the wind blasting past their ears, He could easily just ask! "MAN! I guess delivering stuff truly has given you some proper MOON legs! Gotta respect that pace!" A friendly praise combined with a bit of a taunt if you took it the wrong way! "Can you jump like 15 feet, when the weights are dropped or something?!" One of the things that weight training did, was allow your body to handle greater weight without caring. He hadn't exactly considered that aspect of delivering packages.
However, he was not the only one with questions to shoot. Kai immediately threw some his way too, although he wasn't sure if they were supposed to distract, or keep him entertained! "Most definitely!" The area he had in mind would also serve as a great place to test it out, so he wouldn't go too far with such efforts in the actual things! More interestingly, the lady proceeded to ask if he was a captain of a sports team. He couldn't help but chuckle again. "Captain of just one sport? HAH! I am pretty much the captain of all of em!" He briefly turned to look towards her, as he smacked his fingers against his forehead. "Kirk Bluster! Sports club leader! At your service!"
However, as he turned his head back, he realized something! A turn was coming! "GET READY!" Suddenly, Kirk thrusted one of his feet forward, the foot like a gigantic shark fin pressing against the ground! However, only a gigantic squeak off the rubber on the bottom of his shoe sounded. And as he slid, like in slow motion, he proceeded to press the button for the lights to let them run across the street, and like with an instant command, the color switched to green, Kirks legs pressing against the ground like springs, as he squatted, And then launched himself forward into a sprint, like he had never stopped!
"Since I know the road to where we are going, gonna warn ya when risky things like that happen! Heroes promise, hehe!" He clearly didn't want either of them or somebody else to get in trouble for their little race! it was supposed to be for fun, and for testing the shoes! Although to be honest, he was really curious on how she would handle a tight turn like that. Of course, she didn't need to push the button, so she had the advantage in that regard.

As Kirk gave her a thumbs up, Kai couldn't help bit grin. This kid had no idea what he was messing with! She wasn't called the fastest on-foot delivery girl in Tokyo for nothing! Hell she'd managed to keep up with that car during her race with Yumi and probably would have won the race too had circumstances been better! "You almost sound surprised! What, didn't think a mere civvie could keep up with you Hero types?~" She teased, quickening her pace just as he did, driving her hips into the run as she lowered herself as well, her feet almost skipping across the ground with touches hard enough to propel herself forward but soft enough as to not sound like a tree trunk falling in a forest, like Kirk's did.
And yet, as the meme said, this wasn't even her final form. She could see he had really good running technique and had been doing it his whole life but natural talent combined with differing body types and additional stamina was going to weigh in favour of Kai eventually. She didn't even seem tired at all, or in need of a breath. "Maybe!~ Who knows, maybe I can already jump that far even with the weights! What would you say then?" Her satchel wasn't really even that full today, just two other small and fairly light packages. 'Dropping the weight' would effectively just be dropping one or two pounds.
Still, she certainly had to respect his speed and power, the guy knew what he was doing and it was obvious why he was captain of the Sports Team. Which... honestly felt a little strange to her. Coming from a school that had separate teams for different sports and competed on a national level, the idea that UA had a club that just said 'sports' was a little odd. But hey, who was she to judge? Not like she played any sports anyway.
Yet it also meant that he was clearly known and respected about the school. For good reason, the guy had wrestled a fucking dinosaur, of course he'd be known and respected, sports player or no! But that also meant... he might know her. "Hey, uh... bit of an awkward question, I don't mean to assume everyone at U.A. knows each other but-"
His sudden shout made her heart jump, letting out a little 'fuck' under her breath as she clutched at her chest. His movement was certainly impressive but it was rough, with no style or grace to it. Perfectly fine for his circumstances but for Kai? She preferred fluidity and the ability to never break stride. She slowed a little to let him on ahead so they didn't collide, only to then launch herself at the traffic pole, kicking off of it with one foot and using it to instantly change her direction. She soared through the air for a few moments, a confident smirk on her face as she hit the ground running, never breaking stride.
"Well hey I appreciate that, friend! Though even without warning I don't think you'd be able to beat me!~" That smirk only grew wider, her stride getting longer as she kept herself just a few inches in front of Kirk now. Though that smile lost it's edge a little as she considered avoiding the topic altogether now that they'd been interrupted. Her curiosity, however, could not be contained. "H-hey... uh... do you know a girl called Yumi Tasukai? I met her a while back and-..." She wasn't sure how to broach the subject really, or how much information to give. How could she tell a relative stranger that she almost kissed someone who could be a close friend of his for all she knew.
"I-... uh... do you know if she's the type to hold a grudge? Or get really pissed off with you over something and just like... not tell you about it?" She really hoped he didn't ask for more details. She felt weird even asking this but it was eating her up in inside not knowing. Had she fucked up royally? Had she turned a corner with her friendship with Yumi literally on the first day of meeting her? Ugh... it was killing her inside.

Yeah. To answer Kais question about him being surprised, there wasn't much else to say. "Yeah! Right on the money actually!" Just looking at her, it was pretty clear she was using similar techniques to his, but with much less weight behind it! Seemed like she had pretty much a similar track record for running as he did! It just looked way too natural not to be someone used to it. "Though I guess I should have predicted it with the delivery speed!" Credit where credit is due. And with the more extreme maneuvers, Kirk was starting to feel a little bit of an extra weight hitting his body! But her continuing her own side of taunting, had Kirk countering it with a simple boast. "I would say 'I CAN JUMP TWICE AS HIGH!' Of course!" In that regard, he had his quirk to help him out a little. "It's not like good legs is all you need for that sort of stuff, hehe!" Honestly, all this just made him think about some sort of a challenge for her...
However, those thoughts were interrupted by the moment of extra action! Kirk just couldn't hear the mumblings of the girl, and once he was done, his attention was purely on how she maneuvered herself over the 'not really an obstacle'. And honestly, even that was pretty impressive! Although, Kirks eyes widened out of worry about the loud *CONK!* that came out of her kicking the pole! "DUDETTE, CAREFUL!" Assumedly, he would be taking the responsibility, if he got her to accidentally break something just to challenge her! "M-maybe it's better if we save fancy moves like that for the place itself!" However, brief look towards it given, it didn't seem to atleast have bent. Had she literally kicked it and gotten that much speed without dealing any actual damage whatsoever?
This momentary distraction sadly lost him the position at the front. He grunted in mild annoyance, as he proceeded to sprint properly again, as the girl now had a small lead on him! She could hear him huffing behind her, although this was mostly from the effort he was putting in trying to regain his position, instead of extreme tiredness. He was like a train: If he wanted to go faster, sometimes he had to release his fumes! "You really do have that whole 'lightfoot' thing down! *huff!* I assume that's what happens if you keep your muscles at a more slim level, huh?!" Kirk was trying to be sneaky about asking for tips in the middle of the competition. That was almost like admitting you are losing!
However, now that they were neck and neck pretty much, he could hear loud and clear the awkward questions of hers. And it was a really easy one too! "Oh, Yumi!? HAH! You're pretty much the luckiest gal in town if that's all you wanna know!" He laughed in a friendly fashion, as he proceeded to point towards himself with his thumb, almost proud! "I am one of her best dudebros! We are in the same class even!" Surprisingly, Kirk didn't mind too much the fact, that she was more interested in Yumi. Even though he had all his funky antics on tv and everything, Yumi was the one who was in front of magazines among other things. He could only assume how big her fanbase was at this point. He really would need to find some sports item manufacturer to sponsor himself in a similar fashion... "Been that way since this whole three years worth of studying started, pretty much!"
However, her next question went EXTRA lengths of weird. "Huh? Can she hold a grudge?" Okay, why would she want to know that? He had heard about fans having bit weird questions, but that was kind of awkward... Although, unfortunately, Kirk did have some experience in what she was asking. His running pace almost turned more casual, as he concentrated more on how to say it. "Well, I guess somebody would be worried about that, since she is pretty much one of the strongest students in the school! Believe me! I have experience! Shocker, I know!" Luckily the scar from the more awkward moment had pretty much healed. Besides, he was more referring to the recent tourney fight between them.
"But don't you worry! She isn't the sort of type to literally chastise and insult you if you do something bad accidentally or something! Gotta just apologize, and then even if she doesn't forgive you, she will still probably try to respect ya! Might be a bit awkward for a while, but as long as you learn your lesson, it'll be fine, I'm guessing!" Of course, he didn't go into details that much. For him, the issue had been way bigger, and in the end, he couldn't have expected more from her. But, in the end, they were still bros. And he couldn't be more relieved about it.
...Although, now he was even more curious why she wanted to know that. "Why you asking, by the way? You say something mean about her on the forums or something?" There had been some very nerdy types at the school, and they had told him some stories about folks taking this stuff very seriously... that and perhaps this would distract her a little to slow down. But his curiosity still remained. Luckily, this was a bit of a straight run, as they were surrounded by a bunch of rentable houses. For Kirk, a minor nostalgia bomb.

His warning only made her grin with confidence as she soared and stuck the landing, looking back at him with a raised eyebrow at his concern. These Heroes had to remember where they came from! They weren't inherently superior to a civilian with a Quirk if that civvie had decided to train it, no siree! "Maybe! Or maybe I'm just a naturally better runner than you, Jockbro!~ Momentary explosive power while being as light as a feather, that's the way I do things!~" Kirk was pretty damn impressive with his run but compared to someone who had been running like this her whole life without fear or running out of breath? There was no way he could beat her! Then again that is what she said about Yumi...
But Yumi was special, she... was different.
Speaking of her, she was starting to feel uneasy about asking Kirk something like that, especially if he was as good a friend with her as he claimed. What if he told her what she was asking? He had no reason to keep it a secret beyond honour, which... well, Kirk seemed like a pretty honourable guy but she wasn't sure that would continue towards her after she told him what she'd done. In a way she felt like she'd betrayed Yumi's trust that night, regardless as to whether Yumi seemed fine about it or not. It felt wrong, like she'd hurt her and she'd just been nice enough to let it go.
"A-ah, well that's... good. I'm sure it's a great class..." What the hell was that, Kai? Small talk? Ask your damn question already, don't waste the poor man's time! She winced as she mentally berated herself for stalling, trying not to broach the awkward subject, especially if this guy was as good a friend of hers as she claimed. "Weird to think I'd be a senior in high school just as she was starting... Ah- Sorry! Distracted myself there!" Her cheeks lit up in a small blush. That was a bit of an uncomfortable thought; the age difference was in relative terms tiny, especially considering they were both consenting adults but-...
Wait, why was she thinking about this? Yumi had rejected her, remember!?
She raised her eyebrow at him though as he continued speaking, smirking slightly. "'Shocker' huh? Nice pun." The sarcasm dripped off of those words. But hey, at least it made her smile, Kirk seemed good at that. Whoever ended up with him at their side was going to be a lucky one, as a colleague, friend or lover!
His words brought her a relief and a comfort, reassuring her that she wasn't the type to conceal something like that or hold a grudge. He could be wrong, of course, but he seemed trustworthy, like he knew what he was doing. Apologize... mmm... she'd done that via text a few times but... did it mean more coming from her mouth? Would saying it in person make the apology more worthwhile? Maybe it was time to just swallow her nerves, invite Yumi out somewhere and just say she was sorry. It might not do much but at least she could say she made an effort, right?
And then he asked why.
Hoo boy, here it went. "I... uh-... l-look we met each other and like... went out and had fun in town. Ate lunch at a cafe, played a bunch of DDR at the arcade and then... when she was walking me home I-..." She stopped, wincing visibly, her face tinged a bright pink but her expression one of extreme shame. "I misinterpreted some signals and... tried to kiss her." She let that sink in for a few moments with a soft sigh, still remembering the sound of her stepping back, playing it over and over in her head.
"S-she obviously didn't go for it, took a step back then just... walked away. She smiled at me before she went and we've been talking together via text but..." Kai moved her hand up to rub her face, suddenly feeling quite sweaty and not from the running. "I was just worried she might be pissed off with me but trying to hide it from me or something, I dunno..."

Kirk blinked. On the one hand, she had just called him a bro! That's always nice! Shows that he is doing well in the whole friends department! But on the other hand, She pretty much called herself the better runner! And for a reason that HE personally couldn't stand! She didn't have muscle! "Oooooh, now you are hitting some personal notes!" Just meant that he needed to push the muscles he had even further! His pace evolved into these humongous leaps, letting each of his legs push him as far as possible before stamping them down another time! "You see, ain't no motor gonna be running without proper amount of HORSEPOWER!" God, this really showed off the cushions inside the shoes themselves. Instead of the damage to the shoes, the cushions inside pressed against the foot, making even this maneuver more comfortable!
And yet, he still could only keep up with her! With how his face was getting redder, you couldn't be sure if it was from slight embarrassment or just from the effort he was pushing into it! Yet, the praises kept coming! She pointed out how great his class is! "Yeah! Ain't no better bunch! Except maybe class 3-A and B! Those have some good folks too, But 3-C?! THAT'S where you get the interesting bunch like me and Yumi!" God if the other students could hear him say these words, this would be a fight! Unfortunately for them, Kirk was in the mood to try and brag! Not like it was a surprise. Who wouldn't prefer their class over somebody elses? he did have his bros from other classes too, but home sweet home and all that!
In the end, whatever the case, they were starting to reach the goal. Soon enough, they would see the houses split to sides, leaving a clearing with a grassy mat and two goals on different sides. Yet another nostalgia bomb for Kirk. It was the place he had met one of his best bros, Tetsuko Shindou. Still the uncrowned strongest student of the school in some ways. Kirk turned his head towards the place, before, with a loud screech of his shoes, hitting the breaks and hopping out of the road down the hill. He huffed a little bit, cleaning sweat from his brow. "Okay, hehe! I gotta admit... You really are WAY cooler than some random mailman!" He lifted his hand towards her. "Congrats, You can outspeed a lad studying to be one of the best of em!" As much as it stung a little bit inside, Kirk was no sore loser. He wouldn't be pushing around someone for beating them! Although, when their hands would lock... "But, don't expect me to test these shoes, without you showing some of those tricks of your own! Fair trade and all that!" As usual, best folks learned from each other!
However, before he could actually introduce the place, The girl actually started answering his prior question. He hadn't expected her to say it, and scratched the side of his head a little. Ugh, still being as pushy as always, huh Kirk? However, since she was open about it, Kirk listened to it intently. "Huh." He reacted perhaps a bit in a dull way to her admitting she had tried to kiss her. It was a bit more funky than he had expected, that was for sure. But he didn't want to interrupt her. However, after her next sentence, he just placed his arms to his hips, and started laughing pretty loudly. "Sorry, but...! I getcha! That's a bit of an awkward move, yeah!" But then he looked at her casually, with a wide grin, like a friend would, as he patted her on the shoulder. "But I mean, come on! If that sort of stuff was as bad as you think it is, would you guys be talking with each other anymore?!"
To Kirk it was obvious. Somebody, who hated you for something you did, wouldn't try to talk to you anymore. He proceeded to bump her shoulder with his fist. "I mean, in my opinion, you two are big ol bros already from just one night of hanging out! I'd say that's pretty much a win all around, don't you agree?" In his opinion, they were doing great. "Take it from self-proclaimed best bro of many dudes and dudettes, You are doing fine!"
He ran down the hill, in the middle of it, looking around. "No folks around, no danger of hitting anybody... grounds still as usable as ever!" He stamped his foot against the ground briefly. Then he cracked his knuckles. "Good thing about duels, is that they truly get you warmed up for this sort of stuff!" He stretched his legs from side to side a little, and pressed his shoulders gently against his chest, stretching it and his arms in the progress. "Admittedly, as a delivery lass, I assume you ain't exactly into the combat sort of training, are ya?" Admittedly, she had broken one previous assumption of his handily. He wouldn't be surprised if she broke another!

Interesting bunch, huh? They certainly seemed like it. Yumi on her own was interesting and complex enough, adding Kirk and a lot of the other weird characters she'd seen in her brief glimpses at the Sports Festival onto that was like baking a cake with a firecracker in it. Something was going to explode, whether that was good thing or not. Frankly she wouldn't be surprised if Yumi and Kirk were the president and vice president of the class, she was probably only scratching the surface of weird at U.A. Frankly it made her a little concerned what they'd all be like when they became Heroes. Kirk would be fine, as would Yumi... Fion though? Niji? Farrah?
A part of her wanted to be an example to them but... how? She wasn't a Hero. Sure she could run fast but she didn't have the capacity to save people, to be like them. Who was she to judge their work? No... she saved people in a different way. A much more slow and subtle way. By being the best person she could every single day, cheering people up and just generally being a positive force in the world. Was that as flashy as punching a villain's teeth in? No. Nor was it as satisfying. But it was the life she led and loved.
If any of those damned villains wanted to hurt her friends though... she wasn't going to let that happen. Come hell or high water. Whether that was Yumi, Kirk or anyone else.
When Kirk slowed to a stop behind her, it took Kai a few moments to realize they'd found their destination, blinking as she turned back around and jogged towards her friend. Down a small hill, between the buildings. A sports field, a bit one at that. She hadn't seen one of these since high school... such a long time ago. Granted she was more of a track runner and very briefly part of the cheerleading squad, rather than on any true competitive teams but that didn't mean she didn't spend time at any fields.
Briefly she was reminded of an old boyfriend. American football team captain, apparently the most desirable boy in the school. She'd been flattered when he'd asked her out but it turned out he was just looking for a distraction while his actual 'love' and him worked out their differences. Fun.
"Well I never claimed to be an ordinary mailwoman! Haha!" She stood there proudly, sweating slightly but not particularly tired looking or feeling. It truly was freakish sometimes just how much it took to blow her up. It was so hard to wear down her energy, hard enough to keep her weight under control, especially during summer.
That 'huh' scared her. Was this a common problem with Yumi? People misinterpreting signals? Honestly that thought didn't make her feel much better. His words and positivity earned an incredulous yet also slightly sheepish smirk, blinking slightly as he seemed to react so happily to her story. "W-well... I suppose not but..." She'd had people deceive her before like this but... Yumi felt different. When the two had hung out Yumi was clearly stressed and hesitant but she'd thought that was just hesitance to take a day off, now she suspected it was something different. Hesitance to get too close. "No, you're right... I just moved too fast. Yumi's not the type to hold that against me. Still... I should probably apologize in person. She deserves that respect."
She followed him down the hill, not running just jogging behind him, her mind swimming with thoughts as she spaced out every few seconds. Kai imagined so many ways this could all turn out, some of them good, most bad. She wasn't confident they could ever be anything more than friends after what she did, it'd be way too awkward. Even if her heart sank at that thought, it wasn't from sadness necessarily. Yumi would be a great friend, just like Kirk had been so far.
"...Eh? Er-.. no, I don't really do any sort of combat training. I mean I can defend myself and all but..." She gave a short shrug, looking around with a small grin. "Do you make it a habit of taking girls out to deserted fields for 'combat practice'? Didn't peg you as the type for this kind of romanticism." Chuckling to herself at her own joke, she gave Kirk a playful punch on the shoulder, stretching herself. "But nah, if there's any sort of danger I'm usually the type running in the other direction, y'know? Let the pro's handle it." As much as this was probably a rare opportunity to learn something from one of U.A.'s strongest students, she felt a certain sense of melancholy about it all. After all, she wasn't a Hero, just a mailwoman. She'd already established that she helped in a different way.

God, despite all of this running and that super acrobatic kick, The girl in front of him was pretty much fine! He could barely see even a drop of sweat on her brow! "I mean, definitely not, that's for sure!" He had to exclaim outloud. "Typical mailmen drive cars or bikes!" The girl had pretty much already proven herself in his eyes to be 'not just another pedestrian', but a very capable lady! Reason why he was now so eager to have her join him in the whole shoe testing thing! He was pretty much excited to see what else this spunky one woman mail service could do!
However, despite his efforts at calming her worries down, the girl was still pretty scared about how Yumi actually felt about it. Kirk gave a brief scratch of his head. "Well, I ain't her, so I guess I can't really guarantee anything." Despite her assurances that it was fine, he still wasn't that convinced. But, even if he couldn't help her out in that way, atleast he could assure her of another thing. "Yeah, she does deserve one. But most importantly!" He poked her in the chest with his index finger. "It'll most definitely make you feel better too! Once you get this stuff off of your chest, it'll be much easier, I assure you!" That's how it had been with his apology. Just all the shame and awkwardness he had felt for half a year, had fallen off in a single good talk. In the end, it had just reinforced the fact, that issues like this should be brought up, results be damned. "In the end, whatever happens, it has happened, and you can walk past it afterwards." And in the case of Yumi, Kirk had no worries about Kai and her being fine bros even afterwards.
Whilst Kirk was warming up, he looked at Kai and listened her awkwardly shrug off his invitation to showing off some combat skills. However, to the next one, he had a pretty quick answer! "More often than you think! U.A lasses are sort of special in that most of em are up for sparring if you just got the guts to ask em! Especially now that we are in the third year, that sort of stuff is sort of a classi-!" However, he suddenly stopped talking when he realized that she hadn't stopped talking. For a moment, he just blinked at her, and his stoic warming up pose changed into a mild worry, as he started waving his hands in front of himself! "NOOOO, no! No. I ain't exactly the sort of dude to go on dates anyway!" He rubbed his bit blushing cheeks. "I dunno, I just don't have a good eye for girls in anything but sporty fashion." Most of the girls he fell for were unfortunately typically taken. Maybe it was just a problem of his tastes being pretty simple? He shook his head. "I dunno, one on ones just the easiest way for you to get used to details about what the other person tends to do, you know? That and I think it's more fun that way!" Training was supposed to be fun. Why else would you do it?
However, hearing that she was the type to just run away had him kind of surprised. "Come on, with legs like those? I bet you could run circles around anyone with your techniques!" Like a typical coach, he started poking at her a little bit to get her excitement going. For that, he started bouncing in place, twisting and moving his legs under him, like he was trying to keep an invisible football in the air. "Besides, a whole lot of good fighting techniques are just based around getting that momentum going, and keeping it going! The faster you go, the harder you push! So you've pretty much got half of it done already!" However soon he stopped, stomping the ground. "Then, you just get a bit of muscle behind it with your quirk, and...!" He fell backwards onto his pouch, and then launched himself high up in the air, as a small shockwave of dust was left behind him. In the air, thanks to the momentum, he did about five flips, before stomping back down onto the ground, with his shoes letting out a lout bang, and his mouth letting out a "HNGH!" However, right afterwards he was just lifting his legs like normal, checking the bottoms of them. "Still doing great these shoes!" The he got his mind off of the coolness of the maneuver, and proceeded to point towards her.
"And you are pretty much ready for a big ol tussle against a villain! In self-defense of course!" He offered an inviting thumbs up. "And besides, with sports, its always the more the merrier!"
