Oh wow, I'm really gonna do this then, aren't I?
What started as a playful attempt at a distraction back during a fight at the Sports Festival soon became an actual thing. To say Kumoko was feeling nervous was an understatement. It was far worse than the day the spider-headed girl showed up for the cheerleader tryouts over a year ago. This was the girl's first date. She had absolutely no idea what to do, how she should act, how to even dress, or pretty much anything. Sure, she had frantically called her friends and asked for advice. But sadly, all of their words were quickly forgotten in the wake of the poor girl's nervousness.
Okay, just relax. Try to be yourself. I'm just overthinking things and worrying about nothing. It's nothing serious, nothing to be worked up about. Just a nice outing with Berker. Nothing bad's gonna happen. I won't embarrass myself or screw anything up. ...Right?
Unsure of whether to dress casually or try to go a bit formal, Kumoko decided to try and play it safe by going with something that could pass as either. A simple magenta dress, gray leggings, white sneakers, and her white purse by her side. No makeup, as one: Kumoko was never really a fan of it and felt like she could never make it work, and two: Kumoko was worried about trying too hard and making herself look and feel even more stupid than usual.
Alrighty, just need to wait patiently and be myself. Dates are supposed to be fun. Wouldn't be fair of me to not be at a hundred percent.
Kumoko had no idea what places Berker would like, so it was agreed that the two would meet in front of the school gate, and then they would walk together to wherever. Honestly, Kumoko was hoping Berker had a place in mind, as it would be far easier in her opinion. The girl had no personal preference on where to go, so she just wanted for him to take her somewhere he would like. Wherever it was, Kumoko was sure that it would be a place she would enjoy.
Checking her phone for the time, Kumoko was surprised by how early she had shown up. Whoops! With how worried she was of being late, she was determined to wait in front of the school gate early. But it seemed as though she went too early, a good twenty minutes early. Ah well, I don't mind waiting. So there the spider-headed girl stood, waiting patiently for Berker to arrive. It would be fine if he was a bit late. Kumoko would not get upset.
But... he will meet up with me, right? He's not having any second thoughts about this... right? No, stop thinking like that! I'm worrying about nothing. He will come, and we'll both have a fun time, and I'll laugh at myself for how nervous I was being for nothing. It will all be fine! Just need to be patient, that's all.
