Personality:
Even from looking at her, Kai gives off the vibe of a very happy individual. From her bright clothing, to her ever-present determined smile, to the pep in her step, people know what kind of person Kai is almost immediately. Acrobatic and athletic, it is not uncommon to see her performing impressive feats of gymnastics and it's not hard to see why considering her figure. Although her musculature tends not to show itself, she has very powerful legs and a flexible core. Her weight, however, is very nebulous. As a result of her quirk, the curvature of her body tends to vary from week to week, perhaps even day to day, making it especially difficult to buy fitting clothing.
Most often she can be seen in her company's uniform; a cobalt blue hat and heavy duty shirt with multiple pockets for storage and a simple pair of white shorts for ease of movement. These will sometimes be paired with leggings should it be particularly cold outside, as well as a pink neck scarf and white gloves. The only times this changes when on duty are when it gets particularly cloudy or rainy, her quirk requiring her to show as much skin as possible to absorb as much sunlight as possible. These cases honestly tend to be rare but when they do happen, she will put on her white summer bikini, a pair of sandals and a short blue crop top in order to continue representing her business. In general, her casual attire is very tomboyish, trying to avoid dresses and skirts as much as possible. That's not to say she doesn't have some in her closet, she just doesn't wear them very much.
Kai usually styles her hair into a ponytail to keep it out of her face when running, and to stop her hat flying away if it gets particularly windy. Her hair is usually the center point of a lot of people's fascination, as it seems to have some unnatural glow and shine that make it particularly bright. When you combine it with her natural looks it's no wonder many people enjoy using her service.

Personality:
By all accounts Kaisaki is and always has been a cheery, upbeat girl with a bit of a sass streak. For as long as she can remember she's tried to see the good in the world and in people, believing that bringing a smile to their face and a laugh to their hearts is just as important as saving them from a rampaging bad guy. The little things that lift someone up in their daily life, it was always her goal to be that for at least one person. In doing so she's met so many different types of people and developed a wry cynicism about certain individuals, often playing it off with comedy.
In that comedy she always tends to try and make herself the butt of the joke, playing up her dorky, dutiful nature, which people seem to find endearing. Yet she also has that tomboy air about her, the active, sporty girl who enjoys getting up early and seizing the morning air, loving the work she does and the people she meets. Perhaps then the exaggerated version of herself has a lot of basis in reality.
The only time she's ever seen frowning or sad is at night time due to the lethargic side effects of her Quirk and even then it seems to be more childish pouting that she can't get up and do the things she enjoys. It has, however, given her a very deep appreciation for high-calorie food. She knows it's bad for her but since she needs so many calories to get through the day, she sometimes feels like she doesn't have a choice. And hey, she's not complaining, she loves the food. Though people should be cautious not to take her out to lunch, she'll eat you out of house and home.
On her days off however, Kai loves exploring the outdoors, often finding the most beautiful places in the city and spending a whole day just enjoying them. Although she does like video games, she'd much rather be out and about than sitting around on a couch playing them, which means she tends to rely on portable games instead.
When it comes to love and relationships, she's a little inexperienced. She's had boyfriends and girlfriends before but nothing's ever lasted beyond a few weeks simply because she's so dedicated to her work. It's perhaps the only crack in her armour, the only thing that truly makes her unsatisfied, is the fact that she is so romantically unfulfilled. However, she believes that sitting around and sulking about it won't get anywhere.
HISTORY
> Hiroo District, Tokyo
A small baby is born slightly premature to a middle aged couple already veterans of childcare. A large family, at least four other siblings and Kai wasn't the last one. A strange place to grow up for sure. With all of her siblings looking very alike, Kai felt the need to do more and more daring things to get attention, eventually earning her mother's ire with her incessant climbing and running. Such a hard to control child and yet her refreshingly mischievous personality contrasted the strict, controlled nature of her sisters. A sunshine in a grey, as it were. She made herself the jester of the family, the one who would cheer everyone else up when they were feeling sad.
Yet, her focus on everyone else seemed to force her to neglect herself. Kai didn't do particularly well in school. While her siblings all went onto careers in medical science, engineering, even one becoming a model, Kai took menial part-time work at a post office when she was in high school. Despite her mutation Quirk, they were more than happy to take her. After all, she could deliver parcels all day and barely needed any rest; anti-Quirker or not, having someone that efficient was always valuable on a team.
At least, it was for the bosses.
The rest of the team started to resent her. They were being compared to her, forced to work the same way. Every success she had seemed to drain them and being a rather empathetic soul she could see it clearly. But what could she do? This was her job. Sure she was just some kid but this is what she was employed to do and she was doing it to the best of her ability. How could they resent her for that? She started to get bitter and angry as they treated her worse and worse.
Eventually, as her final exams approached closer and closer, she just... snapped. Something clicked within her brain and she decided to quit her job, then and there. They cheered. They cheered when she left. Her heart sank at that. A few weeks of frustration and building cynicism followed as she went through her exams, getting... average-ish scores, coming out with a passing grade. Her mother was supportive but she could tell she was disappointed. Kai had tried her best at academics but something just didn't fit. She just couldn't focus well on lessons.
But now she was out of school and had no immediate job to go into. Instead she enrolled at a college, taking a two year course in business management but quickly grew disillusioned and frustrated with the technical nature of it all. She knew what she was good at and she wanted to do that, to the best of her ability. Kai began ferrying things around the city for her parents, passing things between neighbours, even taking on odd little courier jobs for local businesses. It was then she had an idea.
She'd create her own courier service.
With a goal in mind, she focused down hard on her studies, trying her best to understand a lot of the finer points of business, coming out of the course with a fairly decent grade, at least enough for her mother to be moderately proud. Taking a loan from her parents, she rented a small, run-down office in Shibuya and got to work turning it into a small distribution service. As much as the office was dingy and cold, it was hers and from there she could work.
Quickly she gained a small reputation for her cheery attitude and happy mannerisms, soon finding she really enjoyed interacting people, finding what she was missing from way back when. Looking out to her new horizon, she began to see a world of possibilities she never knew existed.
