Hinata was waiting in the meeting spot for his internships, where he asked to meet up with his interns. A large dark room in the back of a storage house that the school so nicely gave him to let him do this internship. That took him so long to get this set up-due to various reasons. He had to get enough Miasma set up to get all of this setup and frankly he wanted his first internship to go well- but that doesn't mean he doesn't not want to mess with his interns. So he asked them to arrive at this sketchy storage building late into the day. Hopefully, by the time this is over they will barely make it before sundown.a
Hinata knew the location of this storage house was a nightmare to find. So that's the first step to their internship was traversing the cityscape. The issue is that the area he was in was behind locked gates and they had to use their quirks to sneak in without getting caught and if they do get caught he alerted the local police that he gave his students the right to use their quirks in public locations-but he didn't tell his interns that little factoid.
And once they get over that little hurdle they will reach his little hidey-hole where they would need to break in without alerting him or his security system which he hid all over the obvious entrance. This will be a fun surprise for them, and that's it for the first lesson of his internship-to see how self-reliant and resourceful they are and how observant they are of their surroundings.

Hinata looked at his cellphone and started to play one of his many gacha games while he waited for his students to arrive. It might seem like a very lazy way to teach children a lesson-but sometimes children needed to know that adults can trust them to do their own thing without a guiding hand-and if anything arises that needs his imidate attention-he will head right there.
Despite everything and his better judgement Hinata cares for the kids of U.A. and he will do everything to prepare them for the nightmare that is pro-hero work. All he can do is prepare them for the future.
