Marcie chuckled to herself softly as she looked at her agenda for the day. It almost felt like she was starting to do more legitimate business than illegal business, leaving her with a rather satisfied sensation. She definitely didn't mind having the illegal funds fueled by her quirk to keep her business' going, buuuut if she could stay rich and on top without having to rely on it then that definitely worked better in the end. Came with less risk of going to jail afterall, aaaaaand she could always sell a few illegal knockoffs if she ever wanted to invest in something 'quirky'.
Speaking of quirky though, that was her meeting for the day. Working out of the back office of one of her cafes Marceline was just finishing up some paperwork before scooping it all up and storing it away for the day, walking out to the main cafe space and addressing her staff. "How's my favorite branch manager today?~" She teased, addressing a young woman with a pink streak in her hair. While Marcie liked to push a more 'professional' and 'upper class' sense from her european themed cafes, but she liked turning away good workers just due to their sense of fashion even less. The most interesting people always had a quirk afterall, and she of all people would be a hypocrite to suppress individuality.
"We're doing quite alright Miss Labelle. We've been keeping your 11 o'clock well stocked as well, just like you asked." She gestured across to a certain red haired radio star, Marcie shooting her manager a bright smile and a quick nod, needing no more words between them since they each knew Marcie had a meeting to resolve. With a bright smile she'd cross the floor of her Cafe to the booth Finn had been waiting in, addressing him with a warm tone as ever.
"Finn dear. Great to see you.~" She began, sprinkling the greeting with the usual formalities as she took a seat opposite him, keeping things pleasant. She wasn't entirely sure why he'd wanted to meet, so first things first- "I hope everythings alright with our current deal? I mean, if you've come to renegotiate I can't say I wouldn't be open to it if it means keeping my favorite Radio star in my good graces but... well, given we ended things rather amicably last time I can only imagine you're wanting something else.~"

[nospaces] [attr="class","finn1"] [attr="class","finnimg2"] [attr="class","finnbox"] [attr="class","finntag"]it's show time! [attr="class","finntext"]
Plenty of things were happening as the year of 2074 carried on, one of the highlights just so happened to be business partnerships with those who were actually enjoyable sorts to be around. The first was none other than the owner of this very chain of cafe's, a woman who was not only a fan of his, but had quite a few interesting facets to her personality. Marceline Labelle, he was gunning on how she'd been a breath of fresh air which broke the norm. Someone who wasn't scared of cracking the mold with a new approach, after all, she was all for her cafes being featured in all sorts of different light as a piece of his radio dramas. From the super natural to all sorts of mysteries, she seemed to relish in the plot twists and turns to keep the audience roped in desiring much more.
[break][break]
What was quite lovely is that it seemed as though it did work among a good amount of his listeners and they checked out the different branches to see for themselves. Hell, at least from all the letters he received, no one was disappointed in the service and food of her fine establishments...so this deal was like a match made in heaven. So why not see about testing the waters with a line he had in mind to match the atmosphere and promote both of them at the same time? Even advertise a little fashion show for it and have it be where people buy tickets, a package deal meal with their show...why not? Sounded good in his head, so why not run it by the lovely green haired business woman?
[break][break]
Oh and there she was~!
[break][break]
Catching a glimpse of her as she offered him a smile, he offered a wave and couldn't help but let a soft chuckle slip past his lips. What he dubbed as the unofficial Labelle special was before him, a slice of cheese cake and a cup of coffee, something sentimental, yet amusing about referencing first encounters. His favorite had to be the stupid whale with Hanako which ended up becoming a fun little inside joke. Besides, he genuinely loved the cheese cake and coffee! Surprisingly, it was much better than visiting most coffee shops, this woman had some serious talent in keeping quality across the board.
[Break][break]
Today, he was going to aim for a lightly more casual approach, it seemed to do nicely in Hanako's presence and she seemed to appreciate it quite a bit. "My dear Marceline, likewise, it's always a pleasure~" After a polite bow of the head with a gentle flick of his ear to polish it off before fixing his posture. Finishing up his remaining cheese cake, he took a sip of coffee as he kept one ear focused on Marceline and the other swiveling about to take in various sounds. Being on high alert was just like second nature at the rate things have been going.
[break][break]
Lightly holding up his hand, he gently shook his head and left a smile playing across his lips. "Re-negotiations? Why...of course not, my dear~! As a matter of fact, I like to believe all is going well with our deal~! Ah, but I must say, you guessed right that I would like something else~. That is as long as you aren't opposed to it, of course~!" Lowering his hand to rest upon his chin, he carried on, "I had a dream as a child to make comfortable hats for those with quirks who struggle with proper sizing and fits. This isn't to say I'm excluding a market for those who have no trouble at all, my line will be quite inclusive which will set it apart from the masses. I was wondering if you would like to have an exclusive, limited line that would only be available at your cafes...test the waters a bit. We could host a fashion show and sell tickets that would include a package deal of a meal with their viewing. What do you say, my dear Marceline...are you in~?"
[break][break]
Well, hopefully he packaged that properly...

Marceline took a seat opposing Finn and quietly enjoyed her coffee and cake as she rested her back into the booth seat she'd taken. FInn was as eager as ever to get his words across and she certainly delighted in the odd visuals he presented, let alone his unique manner of speech, a warm smile spreading across her lips as she took another calm, collected sip of her coffee... only for her brow to rise curiously as she took in what he was trying to sell to her. The fact he was happy with their deal was definitely a nice thing to hear, especially since it had brought more quirky individuals ot her cafes. Afterall, his fans were quite typically unique individuals that she liked to see house the seats of her establishments but...
A business prooposal... she certainly didn't expect it.
Despite the fact she was more than open to hearing it, she certainly took on a sharper appearance when he made it clear this was effectively his pitch for an investment opportunity of sorts. He didn't seem to be asking for money per say which... was a good start, but to sell hats out of her cafes was a unique point to say the least. She briefly considered that alone, the idea of a afew racks of hats set up beside her counters... she could find the space, and with a good enough eye she could probably make them look fitting and inclusionary. It likely wouldn't be permanent either if he planned to make his own store if his plans took off but...
Well. Business was business.
"Well I certiainly can't say I was expecting this today but I'm nothing if not open minded to new opportunities such as this... I'm sure we can come to some arrangement but..." She leaned casually over the table between them, an odd hint of slyness in her smile as she leaned over. "I'm sure an upstanding would be businessman like yourself wouldn't come here without at least an example of what you have to offer no? I mean your asking quite a lot for me to re-arrange my establishments and... while I'd love to help, I am a business woman. Do you have an example of your product?~" She was certainly curious. If this was the wild creation of a bored man with no talent she had the needed coldness of heart to shoot down the idea... but if he actually had some talent... well, why not see where this could go?

[nospaces] [attr="class","finn1"] [attr="class","finnimg2"] [attr="class","finnbox"] [attr="class","finntag"]it's show time! [attr="class","finntext"] Hopefully this wasn't yet another dumb idea making friends with him since that would fall under another strike, he was sure of it. This was certainly delicate territory and he hoped that it was thought out far better than before. Last time was a spur of the moment notion, this was something he took more time to think through, weighing in on if it would harm her business or benefit it. In theory...people were all about limited edition merchandise that looked good, the higher quality it was, all the better. When the visuals were appealing, it was all the more tempting to collectors...besides, it was something that could be used to accent an outfit. [break][break] Marceline Labelle had every right to sharpen her edge with this conversation, her chain was near and dear to her heart, a piece of her. Something he could relate to all too well, being a man who poured a piece of his soul into the show, he'd find himself being defensive if someone wanted to make damaging alterations. All of it was fair, yet despite the shift in her composure, she always remained within reason and sound with a logical mind. This is exactly why she was successful, was it not? Besides, if she were to turn his offer down, he figured she would try to help him figure out something that would work. [break][break] ...and he was right about her...that was absolutely lovely~! [break][break] "Oh ho~! Why yes of course, my dear~! Though I was thinking instead of making you rearrange your store purely on my behalf, perhaps if you like what I'm bringing to your table, you could incorporate them in your employee's uniforms and store the few to sell in the back~?" Reaching beneath the table with a grin playing across his lips, he hefted up a box to park it beside him before opening it up. Each and every one, he took a lot of time working on since he'd been honing his craft and making sure each stitch and placement counted. Practice and repetition, keeping at it until it finally suited the look he was going for. [break][break] Carefully, he set the four hats upon the table, gesturing toward them as he spoke, "BEHOLD, not only one sample, but four~! Of course, these aren't what we'd be using for your limited line, if you feel so inclined to assist me in this adventure~! No, no not at all, my dear~! I would much rather work with you and make a series of unique designs, one of a kind....what do you say, my dear Marceline...are you in~?" Was this enough...the moment of truth was just around the corner...! [newclass=.finn1] height:600px;width:600px;background:#000000;position:relative;[/newclass] [newclass=.finnimg2] height:600px;width:300px;position:absolute;background: linear-gradient(-90deg, #000000, transparent), url("https://i.imgur.com/jBgG1zs.png") no-repeat center; [/newclass] [newclass=.finnbox] height:460px;width:340px;background:#7b5e65;position:absolute;top:80px;right:0px;padding:20px;[/newclass] [newclass=.finntext]height:460px;width:340px;overflow:auto;color:#31020e;font-family:Verdana;font-size:10px;text-align:justify;padding:10px;[/newclass] [newclass=.finntag]height:10px; min-width:100px; color:#68031c; background:#7b5e65; position:absolute; right:0px; top:-55px; padding:10px; font-family: Verdana; font-size:8px;[/newclass] [newclass=.finntext b]font-style:bold; color:#fa746e;[/newclass] [newclass=.finntext::-webkit-scrollbar]width:2px;[/newclass] [newclass=.finntext::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb]background:#7b5e65;[/newclass] [newclass=.finntext::-webkit-scrollbar-track]background:#eee;[/newclass] [newclass=.finncred]position:absolute; bottom:-15px; right:0px; font-size:9px;[/newclass] [newclass=a:link]color: #68031c; text-decoration:none;font-size:9px;[/newclass] [newclass=a:visited]color: #68031c; text-decoration:none; font-size:9px;[/newclass]

Her brow raised pleasantly at his suggestion of having her employees wear the hats. She wasn’t too keen on uphauling the whole uniform permanently but she had an open mind on the matter and Finn was certainly putting his best foot forward on this. She was cautious, of course, with how bombastic and forward he’d been in his suggestion with their last meeting she didn’t want to upturn her whole business for him but at the very least she had an open ear about it all. “I don’t know about making fancy hatwear a permanent part of my employees attire but… how about a small stand advertising your selection? Not the hats themselves but small pamphlets detaiing a potential selection clients can choose from and ask to see physical versions if need be… perhaps we can do a trial basis on wearing them though? Finn Fashion Fridays perhaps? If they suit my employees and they like them we can look into it being a more permanent part of the uniform hm?~”
She felt, or hoped at least she wasn’t being unreasonable. She knew she could be defensive of her brand when it came to her coffee stores, but it felt like she was making a fair compromise for an out of the blue proposal like this. She’d shift a little to get more comfortable as she awaited the demonstration of the physical product, and suffice to say she was impressed. Lifting one of the hats carefully she gave it a look over, brushing the inner felting and the materials it was made up of with her thumb, ensuring it was indeed of a quality make. “You do this as a hobby?” She asked, the mildly impressed state she was being held in clear enough in the way she asked that question, flipping her grasp on one of the top hats so she could rest it on her head, smirking as she leaned on the table. “How do I look?~” She teased with a smirk.
Removing the hat she nodded along to his ideas that they could develop something more her style. “I will admit, hats have been a hard thing for me to incorporate into my personal fashion ideals buuuuut you seem to know what your doing… I’ll do some research on more subtle French fashions for my employees to wear and I’m sure we can come up with some mutually agreeable designs.~”

IT'S SHOWTIME!
Clever girl, clever girl indeed~!
See, keeping mind as to how her own business would continue to function all while trying to aid him with his own endeavor wasn't terrible in the slightest. In fact, it was brilliant, truly brilliant! A pamphlet would work, especially if she had a day on the side where the employees would switch it up with the hats. Part of him wasn't necessarily expecting her to roll with it while the other half harbored a sense of desire toward, well, rolling with it! "A splendid idea, my dear~!" With a bright and grin filled with delight, he was absolutely hopeful that this would work out in both of their favors. As a matter of fact, wouldn't it be something if her employees liked it enough that they became part of the uniform?
Maybe it was his own selfishness in the matter, but he thought that would be a lovely twist, cute top hats were great as well and not too cumbersome~! That and oh what was it called...a pillbox hat? The smaller variant of course, but it may end up being a rather interesting twist without much of a clash, if at all! However, it was all up to the lovely Labelle and her employees, he wasn't the sort to insist or push something that wasn't going to sit comfortably with someone such as the golden eyed woman. That very same woman was actually inspecting the hat to make sure the quality was up to snuff, most likely with the way she felt the hat as she looked at it. "Why yes~! I felt the selections are rather slim these days and wish to offer more variety~"
Which was, to him, beyond a reasonable doubt, true!
How unfortunate it was that the best way to get a good hat was through paying hefty prices for a tailor to make one. With him filling that niche, the average folk would have a much easier time...namely those of the mutant and animal quirker communities. Admittedly...they had it pretty damn rough in that regard...so it was time for a positive change, was it not? Ah yes, it most certainly was~! When she put a hat on and even managed to strike a pose, it was clear as day that this woman was practiced and disciplined in the art of modeling and making sure the gaze of their peers fell upon the right places to accent the piece on display, all with a simple lean in the proper direction.
Anyone who wasn't impressed for a second there was either uncultured or simply hadn't a care in the world for the art behind modeling. "Fantastic~!" Then again, this woman could probably find a way to make herself look good in a trash bag, that is how impressive her skills were in his book! When she mentioned how it was a little troublesome fitting hats into her own personal fashion ideals, heck, he wasn't surprised in the slightest. "I must admit, it's usually an uphill climb finding something that suits my own tastes as well~"
Those words were rather mellow and calm as he brought the tip of his clawed digit toward his chin with a thoughtful grin as he carried on with the rest of his words, "Mutually agreeable...hnnn why yes, of course...that's the only way we do things, is it not~?" Always and no matter what, he never wanted to step on this woman's toes or anything of that nature. After all, he held the utmost respect for his business partner who was a profoundly large step forward in the right direction. "On that note, when you get back to me on which designs you and your employees are most comfortable with, I'll need the proper measurements to make them a custom fit~. Ah, I'll also take it upon myself to work on the pamphlets and send you what I have in mind before printing it out. Thus, making it much easier to have your hand in making sure it's perfect, fitting the atmosphere of your lovely establishment~"
Yes, even he knew that something as simple as a pamphlet needed to have the proper look and touch to it. After all, restaurant owners made it a point to have their menus carry out a certain aesthetic, in his mind, it was going to be much like another brand of menu so to have it clash? That simply wouldn't do~
