Everything felt strange and perfect, bringing Kai back to his father so that they could talk more about the sea creatures on there and she could not help but laugh when Finn said they would be ready to visit the beach any time soon. "That sounds really nice and definitely will work, this is the most beautiful hat ever." The one she had used in Hawaii was a simple white one that she actually didn't like but this one, this was so precious and it fit him very well and she loved how Koko liked Finn as well and that it was all going well. She looked at G to have him talk because that would be useful but he didn't and only looked and she turned her attention back to Finn.
She did not want the conversation to turn awkward or anything, "Do you have a partner, Finn?" She asked, making sure to make small talk, she remembered she did not ask last time, it wasn't really brought up as she was in a dip, stressed about her wedding plans and everything else that came across her path that made her wonder if she was doing fine, including the stupid whale that was on the box and she was glad to have found a new friend. "Oh shoot I forgot to grab the cake, you would take a piece, Finn?" It was rhetorical sounding but she really meant it as a question to ask him if he wanted a piece of the cake she made. She would immediately get up and looked at both guys on her couch if someone would take a piece because it would give her the excuse for Kai to try and blow out the candle that she had put on it. This was silly but she really wanted to be a good mother.
